P for Alaki. Big Grin Could we date this to tomorrow, 11/24?

YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE

Tedros was making his way towards the scent of Alaki, towards the place he had first found him. He couldn’t decide if he was being needy or simply wanted a friend to talk to, but he missed the dark-hued wolf. He had made him feel so comfortable, so at home, and so wanted. Flashes of what had happened the last time they met returned to him, and the smirk would not leave his face if he tried. Maybe this time they would be able to actually have a conversation before giving in to their more primal desires.

It was near noon when Tedros got close. He had left early in the morning. At first he had considered riding Unathi, but after visiting the horse for a few minutes, realized that he still needed a few days to settle down and rest in his new surroundings. So Tedros was traveling in his Halfling form, not running, but not walking either. He was in a hurry to see Alaki again, excited and nervous. He felt if he stopped he would lose the confidence and turn around.

The Infernian slowed when the other pack’s scent hit hard. This was their border, this was their land. It smelled deeply of the black luperci, Teddy inhaling sharply, remembering the feel of his fur under his claws. He paced for a moment, back and forth, wondering what exactly he should do. He wasn’t an idiot; he didn’t dare go past the borders to find a wolf he had met once (regardless of how well the meeting went). Instead he settled on a single howl, announcing his location, and calling out for Alaki. While he waited, Tedros shifted into his optime form, feeling slightly naked without his bow. At least it showed he meant no harm to the pack.

WC:694+ Dates fine Big Grin And eee <33

Something hit his stomach, hard. Rolling to his side on his pelt bed, one arm clutched around his now winded stomach he reached for the dagger that he'd left partially hidden from sight, twisting and rising into a crouch ready for whatever had attacked him in his sleep, only to see a dark grey hairball wagging her tail madly, grinning and laughing like a fool. Dumping the blade back to where he'd found it, he picked the girl up by her scruff and dangled her before him, her legs waving around and treading air in an attempt to break free of her father's grip. “What. Have. I. Told. You” he said, glaring at the kid and pausing after each word. Placing her down on the bed beside him, he rose and stretched his arms above himself, padding over to the make-shift storage box he'd constructed when he'd first joined Anathema. From inside the box he snagged a pair of jeans and walked with them in hand over to one of the tables where his various weapons were layed out. Attaching a small dagger to his thigh and a pocket knife to the opposite leg's ankle, he then tugged on the jeans and fastened his belt, attacking his Katana to the belt and finishing off with a dagger around his left forearm.

Casting his eyes around the room he couldn't remember where he'd left the leather strip he'd been using to tie his hair back and chose to leave the black mess down for once. Dressed and ready, he turned towards the child, “You gonna be okay to stick around here on your own?” he asked, Miwa instantly nodding her head and bounding of to her bedroom in response to do god knows what. Sighing, he waved a hand over towards where Beyaz sat, calling the white crow to him and soon enough feeling the birds weight upon his shoulder.

After having located the two traitors, he'd said his piece and chosen to leave things at that. As long as the pair were far away from Anathema and those he cared about, then he'd allow them to live peacefully. Upon returning to Anathema he'd found himself isolated within the dark caves; no one aside Miwa to talk to and spend time with, left with nothing more than his duty and tasks to full fill. Silently he exited the dark tunnel from his room and emerged above ground, wincing slightly at the mid day brightness. If he only had his duties left, he'd perform them diligently and so he began down the path that led to the borders.

Walking in silence down the familiar paths of the pack's borders, his mind drifted back to a late night encounter and he smiled slightly at the memory. Sure that Tedros was from Inferni he had quickly concluded that he'd probably never bump into the coyote again any time soon. With each step his body began to relax and he fell into a comfortable stride, zoning out a depending upon his sense of scent and hearing to alert him to another rather than sight. His ears pricked forearm as a direct call sounded from the borders, summoning him personally. Pausing for a moment he considered who it was; the call hadn't sounded like Jace but aside from the strange woman he could phantom who would wish to see him.

Intrigued, he made his way towards where the call had roughly come from, constantly taking note of the scents carried by the wind in an attempt to figure out whom or what awaited him. Drawing closer he wrapped a hand around the handle of his katana and emerged from the line of trees to spot a certain red coyote. Stopping in his tracks he frowned, confused for a moment after having assumed he'd never see the red male after their last... meeting. “Tedros?” he called out, a smile breaking into his expression as he made his way towards the older male, stopping just out in front of him.

So close to the other he had to force himself not to reach out and touch his red coat, although the urge was undoubtedly there.

Smile teddy is going to freak when/if he finds out he has kids, haha

YOU'RE HERE AND THEN YOU'RE GONE

The more time passed by, the more and more ridiculous Tedros Talik felt about being there. He was a six-year-old coyote waiting like a schoolboy on the borders of some random pack, hoping to get even a glance at a boy he was infatuated with. It was completely and utterly ridiculous. But against his better judgment, he did not turn around and go home, instead he stood there, scratching his neck and waiting for someone to show up. At least if it wasn’t Alaki, it might be someone who could knock some sense into him.

He kept his nose alert, repeatedly sniffing the air. Tedros could smell someone getting closer, but the pack’s scent masked anything incredibly specific to the individual. But from behind the trees, a dark-colored male stepped out and spoke his name. Seeing Alaki again had been well worth the journey and well worth the wait. The wolf’s smile mimicked the one sprawling across Tedros’ own maw.

“Alaki,” he responded, softly. There was distance between them, a few feet, but Tedros had to struggle not to close the space. The memory of their tryst was relived for a moment, and the coyote had to hold himself back from jumping the wolf on sight. His tail wagged contently back and forth, taking one more step closer Alaki. He noticed the wolf’s hand on the handle of his weapon, and Tedros’ smile widened. The coyote was glad to know that his weaponry and state of mind was always aware – that it hadn’t been a one time thing because of an impending act of violence or threat against the wolf.

“You look great,” he said, not really sure what else to say. His arm awkwardly hugged his body, feeling slightly self-conscious all of a sudden. What if he hadn’t wanted to ever see him again? What if he had only been a one-night stand to Tedros? He sincerely hoped that that wasn’t the case.

Word Count → 423 :: Sorry bout the delay and sucky post. Full of cold and all blah like >.< And man, Alaki is soo not smooth ¬.¬ Will be getting to other thread in a sec Big Grin

Impossible. It had been a one night stand, something the two had done in the spare of the moment; parting ways to never see each other again. After much thought he had concluded as such and squashed all hope of seeing the red coyote ever again, for he did not dare head to Inferni and aggravate the wolf-hating clan. It was a boyish crush, a rebound and he should ignore it and carry on with life; and until that moment he'd convinced himself that that was the case. But seeing Tedros there before him, he knew he was still attracted to the other, he knew he wanted to touch the other and knew that he wanted more than a one night stand; although he wasn't the most sociable of wolves, being seemingly alone within his own pack was getting to him and he craved for friendship, craved for even more than that from the red coyote. Never before had he felt such a need from anyone, especially from someone he had only briefly met and knew next to nothing about, but he was sure that he wanted to get to know the other more and now that the other had come to him, he had no intention of letting the other go without saying something or arranging to meet again.

Yet, although he could think things through and sort out his feelings in his mind, his body refused to follow his thoughts. Grinning like the fool he was, he begun walking over, closing the remaining gap between himself and Tedros, allowing for his hand to fall free from the Katana's handle. As he grew closer to the other he felt Beyaz take of from his shoulder, the albino crow not wanting to be near a stranger. Now stood before the other, he found himself at a loss for words; for Tedros had called him and he had no idea why, wishfully he hoped the other had wanted to see him, but to think as such would only raise his hopes. “I can say the same about you” he responded awkwardly, growing more and more self conscious of himself. Looking into the others red eyes he gingerly reached out, right hand stretching out before him to touch the others face. Realising what he was doing, he pulled his hand back and turned his face to the side so he didn't have to look at Tedros, suddenly embarrassed at his rashness and impulsive gesture. “Sorry” he whispered under his breath, cursing himself for acting like some foolish, infatuated pup.

TEDROS TALIK
I guess it just suggests that this is just what happiness is
Word Count :: 330THANK YOU FOR THE GORGEOUS SET. Also, sorry for the wait. Finals kicked my ass. :O

Well, this was more awkward than he had expected. That being said, Tedros Talik had not quite know what was going to happen when he saw the male again. Did he really expect everything to just fall into place, for everything to be like it was that one night? The coyote was old, but still held on to some form of childhood naivety. Tedros felt like turning around right then and there, he wished he could take back his howl and just disappear back into the forest. How completely and utterly embarrassing this was.

But then, suddenly, the dark-colored wolf moved towards him. Tedros could feel his heart start beating again (as it had, for all practical reasons, come to a stop due to the humiliation), returning at full speed. It now felt like it was pumping out of his chest, the scent of the other engulfing his nose again. Alaki spoke awkwardly in response, allowing a smile to form across Tedros’ face. At least it was awkward for both of them. Eye contact was made between the two, blue eyes contrasting with Ted’s own wine-colored eyes. Shyly, the coyote turned his head away; his tail wagging contently back and forth. But then, he felt movement and saw the other male reach towards his face. Alaki pulled away before making contact, and the smile on Tedros’ face fell. ”Don’t be sorry,” the Infernian said, softly. His eyes fell back upon Alaki’s, reaching his own hand out to feel the black-colored male’s forearm. Gently, he felt the fur of underneath his hand before pulling away again.

“I’m glad you were around,” Tedros said, referring to his sounded call. He could feel his heart rate slow to a normal pace now. ”I wasn’t sure if you’d want to see me again,” the coyote said honestly. After all, Tedros believed firmly that a relationship could not be formed without honesty (despite whether or not he actually told the truth all of the time).

TAKE A BITE OF MY HEART TONIGHT

WC:539+ / Confusing Alaki thought process xD He's kinda feeling confused as hell as to what he's meant to be thinking/feeling/doing ^^;

The confines of his mind could only be described as a mess. The joy and excitement of seeing the red male once more, impulsiveness and an urge to touch the other as if to confirm that the male was truly there, but guilt, uncertainty and anxiety plagued all the good he felt about the reunion. Maybe a one night stand would have been better? Why did you come here? He opened his mouth to speak the thought and quickly stopped himself. Pain tugged at his chest and although he was told not to be sorry he wasn't sure what else he could be; he was broken goods, after Matteo had left him he'd been weak, needy, pathetic and Tedros had been there, he'd seen him looking so fragile and seemingly hadn't judged him or expected more of him. Knowing that there was no way he could ever trust another again, knowing that he probably would never be able to truly love without uncertainty again he'd slept with the male and here they were.

Even worse was the fact he was still attracted to the red coyote, still wanted to touch him and be with him; few words had been spoken between them at the first encounter and so the grey Rakeeb had concluded it was just a physical attraction. If he were to push Tedros away, to not get to know the male... then surely that would be for the best? Tedros had seemed nice, whilst he was tainted goods, broken; violence, blood-lust, not giving an inch, not giving mercy, that was who he was and he'd already caused the deaths of those he loved or disgusted them enough that they left him. How could he even consider getting to know one whom seemed so pure? So pure like him... squishing the memory he forced himself to turn and face the male, a smile fixed upon his face.

“I'm glad you came, really. Although I honestly didn't think you'd want to see me again either...” the words escaped him and he wanted to hit himself. Disgusting as it was, he was a selfish wolf who cared little about others; Tedros was there and regardless of all his reasoning and thinking things through, he still wanted the red coyote. To possess the other, to find acceptance from the other, to get to know him and to build some sort of relationship with the other. The pain tugged at him again as soon as he thought about forming a new relationship and yet he ignored the pain. “Since you're here, want me to show you around Anathema?” he waved a hand back towards his packs territory.

Despicable. Unable and unwilling to love another and you invite him on a date. He groaned internally, yet sheepishly smiled at the male hoping the other would want to spend more time with him. Since it would seem most members had figured out Matteo had betrayed him and the pack, he hoped they'd all have enough common sense to leave him alone if they saw him with another; especially Naniko... he wasn't entirely sure what the female would think seeing him with another so soon after she had to lock him up when he'd found the note.
