WC: 503 OOC: Made noontime? and post dated for January 3rd if that's ok with you

Eclipse had some provisions packed up in her bag and was ready to head out to the southern packs. She was ready to get her name out there again, and show everyone the joys of Ichika. She wanted to get out on a good start and she was still ruffled about her meeting days ago, but she was trying not to think about it, and it was working. She had meditated it away and was now headed out of the pack, letting her friends know she would only be gone a few days to visit other packs and meet new wolves. She was tired of being a nobody, well now she was on her way to being a somebody in the land of souls. After leaving she made her way towards the mountains. There was an easy enough path to get through there, and she did have a place she wanted to visit again. It was a well known enough place, so it was possible someone might be there, but that mattered little to her, maybe she would find Achtas there? Whatever the case company would be just fine for the young woman.

The trip was a long enough one so she was happy to hear that of the waterfalls, she was happy to hear the noise. She quickened her pace and smiled at the cold waters that made such a wonderful sound. It looked different now than it did before. The trees were leafless and there was a thin layer of snow on the ground. The water, where it was still had ice encrusting it, though it was awefully thin and had snow covering the top of it, but much of the water was still exposed due to the waterfall Eclipse found a nice spot near the water but not too close and sat down to relax. She found a bit of wood and started a fire. She took out fresh rabbit she had killed and skinned but kept in her bag overnight to freeze. She figured she could make something good out of some of it now. Taking her time the young wolf foung the haunch of the rabbit quite hard to take off, but with her skilled uses of a knife she was able to cut through the frozen animal and staked it on a metal stake she’d found in a cooking supply building she had come to visit often in her pack. Taking out a container, it was getting low , though it wouldn’t be too hard to find oil after she got home again, she smeared the oily stuff over the rabbit, it had a veriety of spices and herbs on it, to bring out the taste in the animal, and the oil was that she collected from fat when she fried up an animal, it was a strange look but it helped her in her experiments of cooking a meal. Humming slowly she held the stake over the fire and waited for her meal to finish.
