Mahavites smiled at the sight of his and his fellow merchants' hard work that would undoubtedly lead them to more fame and merchandise than they had had before; he had never guessed that such opportunities would be available to them on such a small area of land, but Nova Scotia had proved him wrong. The tall man stood in the entrance of the enormous tent that he and his fellow merchants had set up just a few days before. He had sent some of his merchants to cordially invite the surrounding packs of Nova Scotia to their feast and trading festival; the idea had come to him as quickly as a fish when he had seen the sheer amount of packs in this little peninsula, and the opportunities for trading and getting the Merchants of Vadoma's name out were immense. As of now, the man flicked his cloak behind his back and looked about at the feast's layout; the tent, he thought, was large enough to accommodate many Luperci and non-Luperci alike, and he had left some openings on the side of the tent in case some wished to dine outside in the company of their own packmates.

Thanks to the abundance of weakened prey searching for more food in the winter, the food hadn't been any trouble to bring; he hoped that others would bring food as well, but if they did not, the feast here was enough to feed even the hungriest canine. Small tables and chairs were assembled inside the tent, courtesy of one of the woodworking merchants, Rourke Moriarty; however, Mahavites had been sure to examine the wooden items closely and fix them if they were poorly designed or rickety, one of the sour man's downfalls in creating his wooden structures. Around the tent were the merchants, all having some of their merchandise with them in case one of the canines of the feast wished to browse the items and spark interest, spreading the word of the festival. One of his closer friends of the group of merchants, Gawiei Mekwék, stood beside him, his blue-gray fur standing out from the subtler beige tones of the animal-skin tent. He had helped, along with the other merchants, obtain the materials for the feast. Mahavites stood tall and confident; all of his gatherings before him had turned out well, and he was certain that this would as well.

He stepped outside the tent for a moment, glancing about; he saw some canines mulling about, unsure of whether they could come in yet or not. He was also sure that there were others beyond the ones he could see, simply waiting for the opportunity to arise to begin trading; he knew that trade was one of the greatest joys of his life and now that the merchants were ready, he raised his voice for all near and far to hear;

"Come, come, fellow traders! The feast is open to all, and any who should wish to come is encouraged to! Bring your friends, bring your family, bring your merchandise to trade and be merry with us!"
