Saul Chibi is byTitmouse!

Neela was going to be here, sometime soon. Eirias had returned to him a couple of days after Saul had sent him off to Ichika, with no letters. However, a few days after, Grynn had arrived with a penned note from Neela, complete with doodled drawings around the edges of her writing. It had made Saul chuckle to see that she was in high spirits, but he had picked up on the turmoil of her letter as well as felt just a bit curious about the question she'd asked. Saul was really only acquainted with Dixie and Wayne from Casa and he wasn't certain that he'd ever heard of a Tony from the same pack. However, he hadn't heard of a lot of wolves that existed, so he doubted his response of 'I have no idea who this person is' would do anything to help his friend out. He was intrigued about her interest though and a small smile had graced his lips when he thought of what it would mean for Neela. She'd revealed a little about herself when Saul had first found her, how her family hated her and how her son wanted her dead. It must have been a hard thing to do, to open herself up to someone else, if that was what was going on.

While he knew Neela would be around Halifax sometime soon, she hadn't given a proper time and Saul had gone out to the City a few times a day to check for her scent and to see if he might be able to catch her. He'd been unsuccessful, but he'd managed to map out a fairly large web of his own scent around the area so that if Neela did arrive before he was there to greet her, she would know that this was where he was and not move too much from here. He had a lot to talk about with her he knew and he was glad he'd that he would get the opportunity to meet with her again. That was one thing he definitely regretted about leaving Ichika- he sometimes felt as though the ties and friendships he'd made with others there had been severed. To hear back from the red and white collie and to know that she was coming down and wished to see him pleased the young male.

The rocking of the large horse beneath him was a comforting and familiar motion. He'd been with Hermes for just over six months now and the two had grown close to one another. He could control the horse with a few simple commands and Saul knew that Hermes was always attentive to his wants. It was just after midday, an hour or two into the afternoon when the male called his steed to a stop, slipping down and stretching his legs softly. He hoped Neela might be around today, and he thought he would stay out here for a while at least.
