It had been a long week for the younger female, she had been traveling down from Inferni to explore the surrounding lands. Getting through the dampwoods had taken the longest, as she took her time going through the forest. The mottled female checked her pack, smiling fondly at the small bundles fur that napped contentedly in the bag slung off of her shoulder. One of the reasons her journey took so long was that she was teaching her kits to hunt, and they were taking to it quite well. Of course being so young they still had lots of misses catching the small field mice that were just starting to appear above ground, but the times they did catch were met with praise and reward, and she was forming quite the bond with her little charges.

Reaching a hand into her pack, she ran her claw-tipped fingers gently over the fur of one of her babies, giggling as the kit moved onto his back and swatted at her finger sleepily. " Better wake up you two, we are almost there. " She said quietly, looking up to asses the distance between the trio and their destination. Both kits awoke then, their stirring felt against her hip and the pack rustled with the new movement. Two fluffy heads popped out just then, eyes half-closed with grogginess. They were brother and sister, and already were competitive with Emma's attention and praise. It wasn't a contest, she had to remind them quite often. They were to be a pair of hunting partners for her, to seek out and kill the rodents and other like animals with precious fur so that she could make clothing and sell it to her trader contact, Amy.

Soon after she had woken the two up her paws touched cold sand, and a shiver ran down her spine. The female frowned, she wished it would have been nicer for their trip, but at least it wasn't snowing or terrible cold. The sun had only been out for a few hours, and she could feel the slight ocean breeze piercing her coat. The salt-tinged air cleared her nasal passages and she snorted to get used to the sudden air-quality change. It was for the better though. After several minutes of traveling down the chilly sands, she could see the shoreline. The cold waters crashed against the shore in the distance, and she decided to stop here.

Brushing a lock of bright blonde hair out of her eyes, she quickly ran her fingers through her waist length beachy hair before setting her pack down gently, pushing the bums of her two lynx kittens out of the pack. Both yawned widley, and the female chuckled lightly as she set down a large fur on the sand from her other backpack and sat down on it, not feeling the chill from the sand. Gazing at the ocean from a distance, her mis-matched eyes glittered in the sun, the rays beating down and warming her back. Maybe today wasn't such a bad day after all.

UNTIL THE DAY I DIE
Should I bite my tongue until blood soaks my shirt?
Never fall apart, so tell me why this hurts so much
My hands are at your throat and I think I hate you
Word Count :: 5453 crows cawing loudly over head. Beyaz (Alaki's Albino crow) is on his shoulder, Alexander by his side :3

“I vote we go back home, go back to bed and have some fun” Alex shouted out obnoxiously loud from several paces away, the ghostly coloured Abigor had been complaining the entire walk thus far, dragging his feet and holding the storm coated Angelo up, extending what was meant to be a quick outing into a long, stressful trip out. “And as i've said many times already. You didn't have to come. Will you start acting you age already and shut up?” he snapped back in response to the others complained, not bothering to turn around and see the other male's reaction; he knew his words would have hit home and hurt the other, yet knowing and softening his words were two completely different matters.

Looking up he saw three sets of black wings circling above, “Valoel, Manmiah, Tabbris” he called out to the birds, watching with immense pleasure as the three crows obediently flew down, landing in nearby by tree branches, Tabbris deciding to be the odd one out landed poorly on the ground. Reaching into the bag he'd tied to his belt he threw each crow a strip of meat. Out of the various chicks he had caught awhile back, the three with him were the most promising or, to be exact, the most obedient; the others only worked if and when they felt like it. Typically he would work with the crows within the pack lands, but with the promise these three had been showing he was extending their work outside of his borders, testing their ability to seek out strangers in terrains they weren't as familiar with.

With a mumbled string of low speech, he indicated to the sky and the three crows diligently took back to the air, starting by flying in small circles above him before gradually expanding their range. Bringing his head down, he found a pair of ice blue eyes staring right at him, Alex having caught up and jumped into the Angelo's personal space whilst the male was distracted; not that the young samurai hadn't both heard or smelt the others approach, he had simply decided to ignore Alex's childish antics. “You have something you want to say” he asked, his voice clipped and harsh, growing impatient of Alex's behaviour.

“Would it kill you to spend a day with me, without being a dick or going off and doing some stupid thing or another” he whispered under his breath, knowing he'd be heard but not caring. In response the samurai simply raised an eyebrow, silently asking if the other was finished with his little out burst. Stepping to the side he went to move around Alex, only to have his wrist grabbed, Alex rubbed his cheek against his, “Sorry” he whispered. Sighing, he threw an arm loosely over the pale males shoulders and continued walking aimlessly without a set destination, every now and then his eyes would look up to check on the crows.

Roughly an hour passed with little change aside from the pair's location, when the three crows flew lower to the tree tops, cawing loudly having noticed something or someone. Reaching up he stroked Beyaz, the albino crow sat unhappily upon his shoulder, not liking being left out of the fun looking exercise.

Her peace was undisturbed, at least for now. The yearling spent the next few minutes smiling lazily as her kits frolicked about her feet, her gaze set on the water a distance aways from them. Just then the sqwaking of avians drew her attention upward, and she watched curiously as three of the winged animals circled over her, making a lot of noise for no reason. Slightly annoyed, she shook her head to release the sounds from her ears and sighed, deciding to do something about the noise. She got to her feet and brushed off whatever sand managed to stick to her well-kept fur and ventured away from the beach, leaving her kittens laying in the sand.

The crows were fairly close, so she didn't have to go far, though she felt uneasy leaving her little charges alone for too long. Hopefully if someone stumbled upon them they would have enough sense to smell her and Infernis scent all over the small animals and leave them alone, or she would have to punish them severely. Her steps were brisk and she reached the area that the crows were circling rather quickly, but she suddenly came to a stop as canine scents flooded her nose instead of strictly avian. Her senses were all alert as she looked around cautiously, knowing that not all who tread in these areas meant well, even though she did. Her hands grasped the thin tree trunks as she poked her head around some of them, keeping low to the ground as she moved through the under brush.

" Hello? " She called out, her eyes wide as she waited for the hopefully friendly response to come from somewhere around her.

“Silence” he signalled for the crows to land and allowed for Beyaz to join them, knowing the albino crow would unnecessarily sulk if he was left out the fun any longer. Ears flicked forward he strained to hear any movement around himself and Alex, the wind was the wrong way for any scents to reach them and so far nothing had come into view. An eerie silence began to stretch out between himself and the pale Abigor, “You think they just saw something wrong?” Alex whispered, finally breaking the silence and earning himself a withered look from the Angelo. “All three of them? One, maybe two I could understand, but all three of them were set off by something and so there must be something or someone out there” blue eyes flicked to the crows, doubting the birds he himself had trained but unwilling to admit as such in front of the ghostly coloured male. “What they saw may have been moving in the same direction as us, so it may already be gone...” his musing allowed was cut of by a simple 'Hello'.

At the sound of a strangers voice both Angelo and Abigor froze, trying to pin point the location in which the voice had come from. “Kuso, kore ga watashi no tsuitachi-sōde wa arimasen...” the sentence was spoken lowly, earning a curious glance from Alex. “Did you just swear in Japanese?” he asked, completely at ease and oblivious to the fact some stranger was lurking around them. In response the storm coloured male just smiled sweetly, “Lets go, don't wanna have to deal with some nosy, lost stranger” with the words spoken he turned to leave, until a hand wrapped it's way around his wrist. “There you go again, anti-social, miserable git. Would it hurt to at least say hello especially since they called out now?” following the Angelo's lead he left no room for response and began to drag the darker warrior in the direction of the voice. “Hey” Alex called out, still not having quite pin-pointed the others location yet.

The female didn't have to wait all that long for a response, the strangers were close enough to her that she could here the talking, but far enough away that she couldn't quite make out the words. Frowning, her tail whipped behind her as she rose up to meet the intruders who likely meant to harm her in some way, slender digits formed into a tight ball as she started walking in the direction, intent on lashing out before she was injured. A male voice cut through the silence and stopped the female in her tracks, and slowly the determined expression she wore eased itself off of her face, and her fingers relaxed and hung at her sides loosely.

A pretty smile slid onto her face as she was put at ease, and her tail began to sway lightly behind her back. The female felt joyful that others were near here, it was quite lonely. The little ball of sunfire started moving towards the two males, their musky scent hanging heavily in the air around them. Her mis-matched gaze settled on the two males, and she playfully poked her head from behind a thicker tree with a toothy canine grin settling onto her feminine face, large ears swiveling to focus on the strangers.

" How are you guys? I name is Emmanuelle Brenna, from Inferni. What are you guys's name? " She asked sweetly, giggling in pleasure at the end of it. Curiously she noted the three crows seemed to belong to these males, as their scent was heavy in the area and they sat in a group together on a nearby branch. Inwardly she felt guilty as her intention was to harm them a few minutes ago, but she didn't voice that. It would probably be better if she left it in the back of her brain. Stepping out from behind the tree the sunny female approached the duo, eyes flitting between the different pelt colorations, her gaze finally landing on the snowy male, appreciating his stark white fur a little more then the stormy male.

This was clearly against his will and although it was too late to walk away and altogether no encounter the stranger, that did not mean he had to be pleased about things nor be nice towards whomever it was unlucky enough to stumble upon him and the pale one. It wasn't long until the nuisance of a stranger made her appearance; a brightly coloured head poking out from behind a tree, the woman's hair so mismatched with the rest of her that his initial reaction was to blink in surprise, before then questioning how she had the patience and desire to maintain such a colour.

As the woman approached he could see where Alex's eyes instantly went and it didn't surprise him in the slighter; the pale male complained endlessly about how he behaved, how he was heartless, rude, arrogant and a pain in the ass, but then the Abigor was just as bad, for anything that came across his pass, the Collins male practically devoured with his eyes. Angling himself so that Alex's body was between him and the woman, he quickly jabbed his elbow into the other, keeping his expression completely neutral whilst Alex yelped and jumped back in pain.

“Inferni huh?” his response was full of disgust, for aside from a short fling with Tedros he harboured no love for the coyote clan. “You miserable...” Alex's voice called out from behind him, the pale one clearly having recovered from the elbow jab and ready to lay into him with some verbal assault. “Elbowing me, really. Mature” sarcasm and anger tainted the Abigor's words, earning a toothy grin from the Angelo, “I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about it, but it's rather rude of you to ignore the lady over here. I'm Alaki and he's Alex” he explained, acting the perfect art of a gentlemen all the while Alexander glared at him, clearly regretting telling the samurai to be sociable now.

Her ears perked in interest as the two spoke, almost immediately the other, paler male jumping back and created a ruckus for some reason that the blonde woman was unaware of. Tail swishing behind her the dame stepped from behind the thick trunk that had previously blocked her, a curious expression painted across her delicate features. However, at the stormy males next words her ears flattened instantly and she stopped herself from growling at him, he should not judge anothers pack just like that. Her pack was dear to her and the relationships she had forged with the members would hold long over any others she made. Myrika and Vesper were especially close to her heart, and they were wonderful coywolf's. Both of them were sort of mentors to her, and to think someone disliked her pack as a whole angered her.

However, she cleared her expression off in an instant as the pale wolf spoke, reaming his darker counterpart out for some unknown action. Patiently she watched, keeping her expression cool and collected as she listened to the exchange between the two. An amused smirk rose to her muzzle, and she raised her canine eyebrows at the two of them. For a few moments she was quiet, but then she placed her hands on her shapely hips and stalked towards the males, stopping a few feet away. " Nice to meet you Alaki, you as well Alex. " She said, her tone somewhat cool towards the dark male but rising an octave friendlier to his pale ghost. Something about the way he had said her packs name had put her off him rather quickly, which was strange for the normally sunny female.

Her sensitive nostrils flared as she inhaled their scent, a pleasant one mostly but tinged with the smell of many other canines, and she made an educated guess that these two wandered belonged to another pack. " If I may ask.. What pack do you belong too? " Her eyes widened slightly and she grinned at the two of them, whatever misgivings she had felt a few moments ago had vanished, leaving her bright as always.

Playing nice was a drag, but the fact that he could pull one over Alexander by acting like a gentlemen made the whole thing much more appealing then it otherwise would have been; especially considering the female's origins. Although he had met some from the coyote clan, he just didn't like them, holding an almost baseless dislike of the pack as a whole like they all claimed to foolish hate wolves, it was illogical but it was there. Breathing in he forced a smile to his face, relaxing himself into a less hostile and more approachable stance, the simple act of doing so was both abnormal and uncomfortable to him. “Our pack is Anathema... near yours as you may know” he explained, leaving out any information regarding his rank or further views he held towards the coyote clan.

Feeling left out a fair bit put out by the storm coloured Angelo, Alex stepped up and beamed the girl a completely innocent smile in an attempt to compete with the samurai's 'gentleman' act. “Nice to meecha too Emmanuelle is a unique name; not from around these parts is it? So, what brings you out her on you own? If you don't mind me asking” a small extension of a smile and a wave of his tail added to the supposed kindness. Point at the crows as to draw attention to them he continued “We were out running some training simulations with these guys.” the ghostly male added, earning a sharp warning look from the Angelo as to not mention any further information relating to the crows to a stranger of a pack on not so great terms with his own.
