[j] You Should Have Known The Price Of Evil

OOC: I tagged mel just in case she and Siv wanted to come in, but she doesn't have to if she doesn't want to. Sie is supposed to be here though :3 / +yo numbah!

It had been some time since he had found himself back here, towards the lands of the Thistle Kingdom, Salsola. The man felt as if he would fit here, and that he would be of good use to the boss. Eris herself had invited him some time ago, and now that the winter was over, and he was able to stay in one place for awhile, he figured it was time to go where he was always supposed to go to, instead of running away like he was trying to for underlying reasons. The bear-cloaked male was in his Optime form this evening, and he had his hood on top of his head. One arm held a backpack on his shoulder and the other held the red reigns of the Elk with the Valknut tattoo on it's thigh. Reykr held a small smile on his face though, for he had a gift for the pack, not only was he packing a good amount of fish on him in his steed's side-packs, but he also had shiny things like gold, and he also had a bone sword that he had crafted from the ribcage of a stag. He also had been collecting things for when he saw Siv again, these objects ranged from bird feathers to fabrics that she could use for whatever she wanted really.

It had taken him some time to actually collect the things he needed for this day, and now that he had gotten such things, he was able to come back and join the ranks of the Thistle Kingdom. The sweetcorn eyed wolf dog held his tail in a submissive nature as he walked along to find the borders. He had been told to call for Eris specifically when he got to the borders, but the male had also heard of Siv coming to this pack some time ago, when the male brought her the very gift that would help her get into the pack. Plus, he had smelt her scent disappear rather close to the Thistle Kingdom when he had been around the packlands, looking for none other than Siv herself. In the pit of his stomach, he was somewhat excited to see the beautiful woman, but he was also extremely nervous. He could only hope she would forgive him for his doubts of her power. He was being defiant to the gods before, in a way, but he learned his place once more, and this was the reason he had come back to the land of destiny.

He and Val, the Elk had taken some time to get there though, for they had been far South of the coast dwelling pack. The trip in all had taken him well over three days, but he kept on trekking, only on the last day of his trip did he decide to spend the beginning part of the day fishing in a lake, for the rest of the fish that he was going to offer for the pack. The older pieces of fish had been cooked and then wrapped extra tight in a dried fur and tied shut, while the other pieces were still fresh and raw. This preparation of the fish had made his trip longer, and him catching fish on the last day had made the sun go down much faster than he wanted it to. He was coming upon the borders almost in the dead of the night, the only sounds being his own heavy footsteps and then his steed's awkward steps through the forest that he was not all that comfortable with. If only because the Elk did not realize that Reykr had intention to join the pack, instead of lingering around like they used to do.

Once Reykr was able to pull the Elk to the borders, Reykr remained calm and then tilted his head back to the sky, inviting not only the volva, Eris Eternity, but also his proud volva, Siv Helsi. If she so chose to come and see him.

(382) This table made awesome by Mel!

The shadow-furred canine moved across the marshes quickly, mindful of the howl that summoned her to the borders. As always, she was eager to meet the caller: she thought she recognized this voice, too, but hadn't the familiarity to say so. Those who came to her pack's borders knew their business perfectly well, in the majority of cases: it seemed their corner of the Bay was still hidden away from much of the world. How much of this was due to locale and how much was due to reputation, Eris could not say -- either way, it pleased her.

As she neared beginnings of the treeline, she spied a figure moving through the trees, and paused to investigate. Fur of a deep, flat brown flashed even in the shadows, and the silvery patches soon became apparent to Eris. She watched Draugr move slowly around, her gaze glued to the marshes. When distant Bambino bent, the dark hybrid squinted and saw she brought some kind of plant up from the earth, placing it carefully in a dingy green bucket. Eris knew little of gardening techniques, but it pleased her to see the child working toward something, however odd it was to garden by the light of the moon. The youth had professed unpreparedness to be the reason for her delay in ascending to the adult ranks, but Eris was losing patience with this excuse. Surely one so studious and gregarious as to be present at a whale oil extracting and one who tended the garden possessed enough skill to take an adult's position?

The hybrid spared no more time with this and instead headed on, unaware of the pale purple eyes that followed her. She slipped through the thin line of trees and onward into the thicker forest, her head held high as she approached the edge of the Salsolian claim. Her brilliant green-yellow eyes scanned the borders for the relative stranger she knew awaited her. A grin spread across her dark muzzle as she perceived Reykr, and the dark-furred coyote's pace slowed as she approached him, peering curiously toward the man and his beast of choice. You've come, she said, a fierce grin barely concealed on her dark muzzle. But have you come to stay?

OOC: rawrrr (502)

He waited for some time, but nottoo long, for it seemed that one of the two women he called had been close by. Val the Elk seemed to get ever more nervous since the wolf howled for the presence of another and he tapped his hoofed foot against the ground a few times before he tried to pull his reigns out of Reykr's hand. Reykr gave the Elk a strong pull that made him stop being obnoxious and chill out.

From the shadows came the woman with those acid green eyes. They shined, even in the moonlight and gave the dark-furred woman a rather sinister look to her. To him it felt like he was just about to join the dark side or something because it was almost creepy, this whole place was at night. He would get used to it, probably learn to like it as well. Reykr saw the grin that plastered itself on her maw and he bowed his head before he fell to his knees. It was customary, and she had seen him do this before. She stated words to him first, and then she asked him a question. He nodded his head to her, but his gaze was on the ground.

Yes, lady Eris, I have come to stay. spoke the male to the woman before he put up one knee so that he would be kneeling on the ground instead of sitting on his knees on the ground. I have brought an assortment of gifts, for you and Salsola. spoke the male as he got up and went to Val's side and the first thing he pulled out was then sword that was wrapped in the fur of the stag that he took the rib from to make the sword. It even had a makeshift hilt that was taken from an old samurai sword that he had found while he was in Halifax. It was discarded because the blade inside of it had been broken, but it was easily repairable with the knowledge that the male had about weaponry. He came to her(unwrapping the pelt from the blade as he walked) and presented the sword to the woman. He easily got back down into a kneel and he rose the sword above his head.

I can make these, m'lady, so if you or the family ever need me to make these, then please just come to me, and I will do it. the male spoke, his head still bowed as he talked to her, but he talked loud enough for her to hear him clearly. Reykr waited for a few moments and he slightly tilted his head back. I also have other things. I cooked up some fish and I also brought some raw fresh fish from this morning and afternoon. There's enough to feed a small armada. spoke the male as he looked to his steed's bags, and then back to Eris. He searched for approval in her.

(--) ROOOOOOOOOOOAR. tbh we can end this here and now, if you want. XD

Eris is by Libri!

If nothing else, Reykr was respectful of women: this was a plus in Eris's book. Too few overlooked her sex and found their weaknesses easy to target. By Eris's perspective, each sex had its weaknesses and its strengths, and to dismiss either as entirely useless was an unfair thing. It was therefore refreshing to meet one who seemed to revere her gender withnout denigrating his own overtly. For his respect of the feminine wiles, Reykr seemed entirely comfortable in his masculinity. His kneeling was received with tilt of her head and a broadening of a grin. She moved forward to lay one hand lightly on his shoulder, stepping back and allowing it to drop a moment later and as he went for the elk and his promised gifts.

The dark-furred Auxiliary listened to his appeal with glowing eyes, her gaze lustily focused on the sword in his hands. The fish was a good enough gift, of course, and she would be sure to distribute this to various canines of her pack, but the sword was her truer desire. Eris had no idea how to begin wielding such a weapon and was loathe to ask Reykr just now -- it was not the time or the place. She grinned and nodded, looking over his dark-muzzled face. She was startled by the paleness of his eyes, the striking way they widened with his appeal for her approval.

But Reykr, she said, smiling and stepping back, waving one hand behind her to invite him into their territory. You are of my Family now. Come and join us, she invited.
