Jazper, Biff and Sebastian head out to meet up with CdA for a trade trip. Post dated to the 3rd. Return approx 6th. Just a couple posts each, we'll keep this short Smile

The sun was high in the sky, warming the air and earth below as the Sole finished preparations for the journey a head. The leader of the artisan pack had requested a dual trade trip to Aniwaya and Crimson Dreams, an opportunity to further their friendship with each other and two of the other southern packs. Around the horse cart was a few baskets of various sizes as well as some wooden boxed containing inventory for the trip: furs for the night time and for trade, some swords and dagger, bow and arrows as well as some dyed feathers and beads, a few lengths of rope, a few books of blank pages and finally a box of medical supplies. The sole had also brought along some cooked meat in a smaller basket along with a few of flasks of water from the stream.

He had asked Sebastian to join him on the trip, sure that his friendly nature and talent with words would come in handy, along with Biff Williams, a new member that apparently played the violin. The Sole’s own violin sat in a leather case, already placed in the cart. The seat at the front of the cart was large enough for three Sebastians but with the Alpha coming along one of the two smaller males would have to make themselves comfortable in the back of the hull with the luggage. The leader led his black and white painted stallion in front of the cart. Now you behave Vito. You’ve pulled this thing before and caused your fuss then, no reason to now. Of course the horse did not listen, nickering and trotting forward as Jazper attempted to tie him to the planks. With a soft warning growl the leader held out an apple, allowing Vito to munch away happily as he quickly tied the horse to the cart, following the instructions Dixie had given him.

Upon realizing that he had been tricked the large stallion gave a huff in the coal wolf’s direction, to which the Knight simply chuckled before releasing a call for Sebastian and Biff to meet him by the door of the Fort. They had been instructed to bring their own weapons and anything they believed they would need on the trip, though their luggage should be minimal and Biff had been asked to bring his violin along for entertainment in the star lite hours. As he waited the giant began to pack the few boxes and baskets into the cart, there would be just enough room left over for one of the smaller males to lounge comfortably on a blanket of furs.

Biff had only been in the pack for maybe a week before he was invited to go on a trip of commerce with the leader, himself. It had come as a surprise and the coyote choked at words before he was able to give an enthusiastic 'yes' to the question, but he was definitely glad to be venturing out again especially as an escort to the Sole. The idea of getting out and moving around came as an unexpected relief to Biff, and he realized just how much he had become accustomed to traveling after he began to pack a few things for the trip.

The violin-playing coyote had done much traveling in his time and he had come very far to reach his new home here in Casa Di Cavalieri. Staying in one spot was something he hadn't done in a long time, and oddly enough he had become rather itchy in the last few days; as if the drive and nature of wandering called to him to pick up his things and leave. It was not that he did not like Casa Di Cavalieri, though. Quite the contrary; he absolutely loved the place! Everybody seemed hospitable and kind, always willing to give a helping hand, and whilst Biff hadn't found anyone to teach him how to read yet he had gathered a few pointers on other subjects in life, such as dagger-play.

After being told that he would have to bring his own weapon, Biff decided he would scavenge around and see if he couldn't perform a deed or two in payment of a good sharpening of his skinning knife. The thing was a little dull and was not exactly a fighting weapon, but he figured it would suffice and would be easier to get it sharpened then to acquire a new dagger all by himself. He had spent a little time practicing and honing in on his throwing skills with it, too, and while the knife was not weighted properly to be used as a throwing knife effectively Biff believed that, if he were lucky enough, the sharp end would find its mark. It wasn't a question of the coyote's aim with throwing weapons, just whether or not he could get the tip to go into the target.

Other than that he had brought his violin, which was requested, his leather satchel, which contained his best-looking book, a snack, and a few knick-knacks that he thought he may be able to trade for personal profit. He wore his leather socks and leather gloves, as usual, but other than that the coyote wore nothing else. If the Sole demanded that he dressed more appropriately he would, but Biff thought he would see if he could travel as he was and get away with it.

The call reached his ears and Biff dropped what he was doing, which was sitting about a log cleaning his claws in wait for that very sign, picked up his case, threw his satchel over his chest, and began off at a trot to door of the Fort. It wasn't long before he came into view of the wagon, the horse, and the Sole himself. The man was a monster in size, and Biff could not help but feel small and insignificant when approached by the knight; perhaps that was why he was able to retain charge so easily over Casa di Cavalieri. As Biff drew closer he slowed to a walk and offered his leader a bright smile and a small wave, followed by a greeting.

”Afternoon, sir!” His voice was chipper and full of excitement. Biff's body language showed obvious submission as he drew closer, though, as his tail was tucked and his head was ducked slightly lower. Whether or not this was acceptable to the newer-society type Biff hadn't figured out just yet; but this action was something he could not flush from his instincts. Being a feral coyote for the beginning of your life would leave residue like that. ”You need any help with those boxes?”

PS3 posting is painfulllll.

Sebastian had, naturally, been very pleased with Jazper's request. It was a welcome break from the monotony. He had said yes instantly, giving Jazzy a grateful hug into the bargain. The gigantic Alpha Male was a cuddlebear at heart, after all, and Sebastian never declined hugs. He gave more than he took. The lithe Italian decided to pack lightly enough, as Jazper was going to provide furs and other essentials. His bow and arrows slung on his back. Daggers sheathed and in his pockets. His satchel containing his paper, paints, tools, a book, a bottle of wine and spare jeans. Jazper had said to pack light, but it was no more than the artisan took on his treks around Halifax and the forests.

Sebastian responded to the call breezily. He wasn't too far away, in any case. The wagon came into view first, then the giant black knight, then a smaller creamy shape. Presumably their companion, the newcomer. Sebastian sauntered to the wagon with an easy sway to his hips and a charming smile on his muzzle, his jeans offering his only modesty. Even then, they were virtually painted on.

Still. Despite his intimate relations with Jazzy, he had to be courteous. Sebastian approached him from behind, stealthily skirting around the horse before suddenly appearing at Jazzy's side. The Italian stepped around his leader and grinned up at him daringly. "Hello, Jazper," he greeted cheerfully, bowing politely before he wrapped his arms around the huge male and hugged him tightly. Of course his strength was meagre compared to Jazzy, but it mattered little. He simply enjoyed hugging.

Once he had sufficiently embarrassed Jazzle-Dazzle, Sebastian turned and regarded the handsome creamy wolf with a crooked grin. "And hello to you too, amico." Sebastian boldly hugged the creamy male, secretly pleased that he wouldn't be the shortest member of this party. Sebastian squeezed the unknown man for somewhat longer than strictly necessary, memorising his scent before standing back to form a triangle between the trio.

"I am Sebastian," he introduced himself, his voice mingling silk and steel as he smiled like a gentleman. "Where are we headed first, Jazz?" he asked, folding his arms and tilting his hips and head as he looked almost straight up at his beloved leader.
