This thread will be a free-for all posting, so naturally you have until Monday, August 18th to post a reply in order to hunt. Due to the nature of this thread, we will not have a posting order. And for those who are lazy and don't want to read through Erin and my posts, this is a pack hunt thread for Naniko and the up coming puppies. This thread is non-mandatory but it would be pretty damn skippity if all of us could attend. 
Pack Hunt Thread.
floatonMorning broke heartily across the horizon when Khaden finally emerged from the still house. Bright and vivid colors ranging between majestic purples to those crimson and fiery hues. He yawned complacently, pushing his long, built limbs afore him as his whole body arched and rolled out any tense muscles that accumulated over the night. So much had seemed to happen since he had joined Twilight Vale just mere weeks ago. Between meeting up with his older brother and sister-in-law, meeting that wonderful girl Ember, moving into the Manor, and everything in between. He had shared laughs and sorrow betwixt the ranks of his new home, and had even gotten promoted to Delphinus. He tittered his own chuckle at those experiences that he could never trade, and would never trade for the world.
floatonHe declined down the steps of the old plantation house, and settled his rump down on the bottom step. His secui form barely able to fit on the wide ledge, he grinned down at himself. The newest accomplishment and experience that seemed to mark him on his way of achievements was this Hunter co-rank. It wasn't much to say that he was a hunter - most other wolves were, seeing as if they couldn't hunt, they couldn't very well live. However Khaden could be safe in saying that he had a special gift for it, and all games at that. From fishing, to even knowing where the current game trails were and how they cut across the Rabbit Lake terrain to those special drinking spots.
floatonCurling a particularly bushy tail along his massive form, Khaden flicked his muzzle back to the house. With Naniko pregnant, he at least felt vaguely useful. He could go and hunt down supplies for her as she was in the Manor. But rabbit after rabbit didn't cut it - in order to keep up supplies, he would have to hunt down something larger. He frowned a bit, pushing his paw up towards his muzzle to scratch at an itch before he glanced back towards the entrance of the house. Even in his large secui form, he was sure he needed some help to take something like that down.

The sable girl's mouth opened wide in a yawn. The sun had just broke over the horizon, usually she wasn't up quite so early, but she hadn't been sleeping that well as of late. There had been a lot of things eating at the two year old recently. First had been the encounter with Conri. Then that of course lead to her main issue; her anger. So far whenever she had lost control of herself, it had been against an "enemy". First the wildcat, and then Conri. However she was terrified of it happening when she was around the people she loved. What if one of them got her upset? Would she lose control and do the same thing to them as she had to the others? She didn't necessarily think that she would, but how could she be sure? It made her anxious, and the fears haunted her day and night.
Listlessly she left her upstairs room and trotted down to the main level of the manor. Savina needed something to distract herself. She needed some chore, some kind of duty to occupy herself with. That's when she thought of Naniko and her expectant litter. The Orion had been working hard on stocking up the food cache in preparation for their arrival, but she could only catch so much food on her own. What they really needed was to get some of the pack together and go after some big game. The wolfess was by no means an expert hunter, so she would need some help in getting such a thing organized.
Her sleek form slipped through the front door out into the open to get some fresh air. Her eyes took in the hulking form of Khaden at the bottom of the steps. A soft smile graced her muzzle as she walked down to the ground to greet him. "Good morning Khaden. How're you today?" With him in his halfling form it made her already slender body seem smaller in comparison.

floatonSavina's voice seemed to break Khaden's thoughts as he sat there, mulling over the hunting co-rank and Naniko, and all those intense dramas. He flipped his head over his shoulder, features cantered in a greeting to another familiar face, stretched in a warm and friendly smile despite the thoughts that clouded over his mind. As his whole body shifted to turn towards the ebony femme, Khaden dipped his body in a polite introduction. "I'm doing okay. Just thinking about stuff." He got up off of his rump, descending one more step to truly be able to stand and shake out his muscles and the like tossing his long mane this way and that.
floatonHe had always genuinely like Savina with all of her kindness and golden demeanor and knew ultimately that her presence was something that truly made up Twilight Vale as a pack. Without her, something would feel missing and gone. The Aatte boy had never really got to know the Orion as intimately as he would have liked, considering that he believed that the whole Twilight Vale should be known as family instead of acquaintances. However as much as she saw her amongst the pack, and in important pack gatherings, not to mention all the times that she had been mentioned from Naniko, she was an influential figure in the role of the pack.
floatonHe allowed to let his tail wag easily, softly against the early morning air as he regarded her. "What are your plans for the day?" He asked, nonchalantly, just a conversation starter.

I'm just going to have it that Savina will know that Khaden has the hunter co-rank. To make things easier XD
Savina hadn't gotten to know the younger male too incredibly well yet, but from what she knew he was very nice. He had already been promoted in the ranks of the pack, which meant that he was definitely doing his part to help. Gracefully she made her way down the stairs to stand next to him on the ground. Just then it occurred to her that the similarly colored male had been put in the hunter co-rank. "Well, nothing specific. Though I've been thinking. With Naniko pregnant, I thought it would be a good idea to try and get some of the pack together to go on a hunt. I know everyone's been contributing what they can to the cache, but it would really help if we could bring back something big."
Khaden was a smart wolf, and she was certain that he already knew all of that. She wasn't saying it to seem demeaning, she was just simply explaining her thoughts. "I'm not an expert hunter, but since it seems to be your area of expertise, maybe the two of us could round some people up and you could lead us in the right direction?" Her tail swung softly from side to side, happy that the answer to her idea had come forward so easily.

floatonKhaden shifted his position, a polite reaction to her presence as to give her room on the soft ground for her to be next to him. When she spoke, Khaden laughed and shook his head. "I was thinking the same thing about Naniko too." He barked, grinning that Savina would be on the same page as him. It was uncanny how brilliant minds thought alike. With a bright twinkle in his eye he dipped his body down playfully. "It would be a wonderful idea to have a pack hunt. I know where the nearest game trail is." He nodded towards the general direction, keeping close tabs on anything that may pertain to his newly applicable co-rank.
floatonHis giddy, boyish behavior seemed to take control of the situation as he couldn't help but realize that he could actually do something for the pack, bring them together for a main cause. Something about that rally-around-the-flag political tactic just seemed right, especially for their leader. He cocked a side glance at Savina before he asked. "May I do the honors?" Not to be rude or anything, just so that it could just be gathered faster. He launched himself upon the top stair of the Manor's porch and tipped his head up towards the skies. His song was heard throughout Twilight Vale, and it's content was clear. Pack Hunt. All invited.

A yawn escaped the young males large open jaws. Why did everyone howl at this tim ein the morning. As the words formed though a large grin spread across his face. He jumped out of bed and then frowned. He was a better hunter in his wolf form, though it would be a good idea to try in his halfling form. He yawned once more as he looked outside. He visualized himself shifting and then his morphing began. He lowered himself onto all fours and clentched his teeth as his boned snapped, becomign shorter. After a bit of time had passed he stomped his feet looking at himself in the full length mirror on his wall.
He was a fair bit larger then his normal wolf form which would make it easy to take down large prey. He was fully grown now, looking more like Lucifer and his blood father Ares then ever. Large, coal coloured with bright amber eyes, he considered himself handsom or at the very least not ugly. He gave a small smirk thanking his good genes for the luck. He started downt he stairs and out the door to see Savina and Khaden. Khaden had recently earned the Co-Rank of hunter, under his father. Secretly Jazper was jelouse that the other male who was barely a month older then himsel had a new spot among the pack, hunting with Lucifer. It had been Jazz's dream to hunt side by side with his father but, lately, he had been leaning towards taking care for the pack in a more direct way. He flashed the two other black wolfs a welcoming smile. "Hey Khaden, Savina!" He looked around, the sun was just raising, "How was your nights? Are we going for some bigger game today? Naniko could use it..."

It's a thief in the night
This morning was special to the black male, he had slept well though out the night. He had a heart to heart with his old mate, oh there was still that flame there, but Lucifer not sure if he was willing to deal with the fact that she was in love with some one else, if they where going to have to forgive each other and love only each other. His love for the three white lady's would have to become one. The male was willing to let each of them play with others on the side if that was what she wanted. The male yawned, as the shifted male walked into the yard as he saw the gathering of members, his brother like figure. His son's hero, and then his son, well one of his sons. The male smiled, today was good right?!
"Good morning guys! What's going on?"
He knew that Naniko was with childern, the male didn't want to tell the other members of his pack that he had worries that these childern might be his. There was three males that male could question the father of, he smiled though, making sure not to let the pack know of his worries. He pushed his blue tinted hair out of his face. As he smiled to his pack members. If there was a hunt he was ready. The rush of the hunt fueled his blood, he was a hunter.

Savina smiled as she saw Jazper descend the steps and join them. He was a really good guy, she had taken a liking to the younger male. Then again, she couldn't think of any wolves in the pack that she didn't like. "Morning Jazper. My night was well, thank you." The next to join them was Lucifer, the second in command. She hadn't gotten much of a chance to get to know him yet, but from what she did know he was very nice and considerate. However in the back of her mind she remembered that he was the other involved with what happened between Naniko and Kansas. It made her a bit uncomfortable, because she was still worried about her relationship with the cream male. The girl was relieved that Kansas was not among them at the moment though. She hadn't gotten a chance to talk with him about all that yet, and if he were around she wasn't sure if she could keep it together.
It seemed that everyone that was going to join them was present, so she decided they might as well get ready. "Good morning Lucifer. Well, as I'm sure you all know, Naniko is pregnant. We've all been doing our part to fill up the food cache, but Khaden and I both think it would be a good idea if we could bring down something larger. That's why we decided to call you all here. Khaden already knows where the nearest game is, so I thought he could lead us." With that she turned to her almost identical packmate, waiting for his next move.
