In Character

Shaw had heard the howl that Jiva threw to the winds and when he saw what he was meaning for Shaw had another project idea, one that will help protect the cave the others lived in. He would have to have help though and he hoped many of those who came would help him. He needed deadfall to gather around the den. So when many gathered he moved to sky, miming and grunting what he wanted. She understood him best and he felt she could articulate what he needed. Even wrote on the ground wood, moving his hands around the den behind where Jiva wanted the ditch to be made. To make a fence to keep water from flooding in even more, and as dry as possible. He had been in a few hurricanes in his lifetime and he knew how devistating they were. And knew they could easily lose the den to one thing or another, but mostly the flooding of the water, or mudslides.

Sky relayed his words for him as actuately as possible; "The den needs protection and Shawchert's got a pretty good idea of how to achieve this. We'll build a wooden blockade around the den, like a wall, to block the overflow." Shawchert nodded, he raised his hands and his voice sounded “bug, wud” which Sky again translated for him as big logs, and deadfall as possible, not twigs or sticks. This was a job for two legs, he knew, but it was best to protect the den no matter what the cost to some who thought it was taboo to change to optime, though the man still knew little of the pack life he knew they favored their lupine forms. He looked around and motioned for those who wanted to help to come forward and he could split them up into groups to help gather the wood they needed.

He was getting stronger again every day; the male knew that things were happening and that Mother Nature was up to something. The male was hoping that because of the long, hot and dry summer that it meant that it wouldn’t do anything stupid, the male wanted to make sure that his litter did not run the risk of passing away before their time. The role of the overprotective father was a role that the silver monster was just able to smoothly slide into once his beloved Fayne told him that she was with children, their children. The monster had just laid down from a mid afternoon nap, he had been over focused on tracking the animals and the wildlife though out he pack to understand and logically figure out the prey’s moving habits though out the day.

Hearing the healer, the one that had taken care of his broken leg, thanks to Amy, the male eyes jolted open, as he lifted his head up, he ears shifted around his head. ”No..” The male whispered, as he rolled to his feet he moved to the scarred up brother and sister as he gave a nod, ”I will do whatever it takes.” It was a selfish reason behind it but he also wanted the pack safe.
