ooc: this thread is only for rescuers and stragglers!

She stood outside the shop, where most of the rest of the pack were safely kept until the hurricane died down a little, and they could return to their homes - but she knew that others were out there, in the harsh winds, perhaps injured and cold. Her pups were in the shop, with the rest of the pack, and she had heard their cries for their mother as she had left; but she couldn't leave the rest of her pack.

Others could come help if they wished to - her mission now was to find the stragglers, and hope they were safe. Skye did not know it, but the hurricane fed off of the ocean, which made Cercatori d'Arte a harsher victim indeed.

whee hurricane

He locked his back hard against the wood and heaved with all his might. Fear propelled him, fear for his hives and his bees which would surely be killed by the incoming storm. Pain shot through his backs and legs as he shoved and pushed against the great hives. His bees, his pride and joys buzzed around him confusedly and he spoke to them in a calm hushed tone, telling them not to worry. He knew they did not have the reasoning and brain of a wolf to understand him but they were in tune with nature enough to know that something was wrong.

He stopped and panted harshly. Around him the storm was raging more and mroe, out of all control and his golden eyes showed his terror. Again he braced himself against the wood and pushed, screaming his frustration into the wood as it still refused to move. Desolation began to fill him. The hives he had worked on for most of the summer the keep alive and to foster would be destroyed. But still the Denahlii boy did not give up, desperate to save his beloved bees even against seemingly impossible odds and their reluctance to move. Again he forced himself against the wood, his claws digging into the ground and churning up the mud. His thich white pelt was splattered with it.

Adrian hated not doing anything. He had talked to some of the other pack members about the storm but now everyone was off with those close to them presumable. Adrian, so new to the pack, do no one to talk to. Adrian had been sitting in a corner, lightly strumming his guitar and barely hearing it over the wind and the rain. Adrian was going stir crazy in the shop filled with his fellow pack members. But Adrian could sense that not all of them were hear. From the undertone in the whispered voices, he could feel others' worry for their friends and family. Adrian was also worried because he had yet to see Hotaru. He was sure that she was okay. Surely the blind wolf wouldn't go out when it had been so obvious a bad storm like this was coming. But still, Adrian couldn't stop worrying.

Finally, fed up with waiting, and knowing that Skye had also left to go looking, Adrian stood up and walked out of the shop. He didn't care that others turned to look at him as he walked by or that someone might try to stop him. He had made up his mind and now nothing would change it. He opened the door to the shop and slipped out, closing it quickly before the wind had a chance to whip it out of his hands. Then he set off into the storm, determined to find anyone stuck out in the storm. And, he hoped, someone would find Hotaru and keep her safe.

Smile powerplay okayed by jace

It was difficult to trudge through the harsh, powerful winds, intent on keeping her from reaching her destination - wherever it was. She could hear a noise behind her, just detectable underneath the sounds of the howling winds, and she turned, squinting; it was a vague shape, with the coloration of Hotaru...

"Hotaru?" she asked, not loud enough for whoever it was to hear - as they approached her, though, she could see that it was Adrian, Hotaru's brother. His larger build and more muscled appearance gave him away. "Adrian!" she yelled; she would not bother to tell him to return inside, for she knew that two noses and four eyes were better than a single wolf searching in the storm. "Help me find the others!"

She padded forward, slightly faster pace than usual, attempting to carefully discern who was left. A white shape could be seen in the distance, just on the fringes of her vision - drawing closer, she could see it was Honrin, frantically attempting to save his bee hives.

"Honrin!" she yelled, her voice barely audible over the winds. She was about to tell him to get inside the shop, but the words died in her throat - he had inherited the stubbornness of Jace, that much she knew. Without a word, she leaned next to him, pushing the wooden structure until finally, it moved; they pushed it and pushed it, dragging it safely into one of the shops.

Exhausted by the effort but determined to keep moving, a sudden thought struck Skye - Hotaru couldn't see. Her normal means of getting around through smell and hearing would be useless in the harsh winds. "Come on - we have to get Hotaru!" Skye yelled, making her way towards the blind woman's home.

The young wolf was curled up tightly, holding onto Ovidiu. When had the storm gotten so bad? She had heard that everyone was heading down to a sturdier place, the entire pack gathering. Dalgina would have gone, but that meant that Mahn might see her. Her and Pandora were the only ones who had escaped being injured by her, and Dalgina really didn't want to put herself in a position where she could be attacked and injured. She'd told Taru that she'd be just fine where she was in the house, but now she wasn't so sure.

Crouched down in the tiny room Dalgina looked over to Tehu. He didn't look so good, feathers flustered and looking rather strung out. She wanted to calm him down. Reaching out she managed to stroke his beak, the wind striking again and shaking everything about. Closing her eyes she buried into the fur again, Ovi occasionally snarling at the weather, almost threatening it to try and take them. He might be a gentle tiger, but he was still a member of the fiercest cat species, and would do what he could against it.

Adrian was glad that Skye didn't try to send him back to the shop. Adrian wouldn't have gone and he would have accepted the consequences later. Disobeying the pack leader wasn't something he wanted to do but he would if he thought he had a chance to save someone. But luckily Skye just accepted his presence and welcome his help. Adrian followed behind her, not bothering to yell his acknowledgment of her words over the storm. Adrian helped them push the giant wooden structure. He used all of his seven foot six inches of muscle to help them get it to safety. And even then, it wasn't easy going.

Adrian looked her, catching part of her words and putting it together, he nodded, leaning close to her so he could be heard over the storm, "I know, that is why I'm hear. I need to find her." He yelled, hoping the wind didn't steal his words even with his mouth so close to her ear. Adrian couldn't help but think of Hotaru, blind and confused in this storm. Blind and confused because of me, He though, feeling the guilt swell up inside of him. But he pushed it down. He couldn't let the guilt incapacitate him now, not when Skye was counting on him to help, and Hotaru needed him. So he pushed himself against the storm, pulling ahead of Skye a few feet as he tried to make it to Hotaru before something bad happened.

Big Grin

He was very glad he has listened to his father in attaching all three hives together otherwise pushing three of them into the house separately would have taken so much longer. His saving grace came in the form of Skye and another male he didn't know but resembled their blind Maven a lot. He accepted their help without complaint and soon his bees, confused and lost, were safe inside his mother and father's home. He would retrieve them after the storm no doubt they had food stored up to survive in their hives.

He knew that Dalgina had not yet traveled to the shop the pack were staying with, she wouldn't have left Hotaru or her birds on their own. Now the hives were safe Honrin found himself becoming a rescuer rather than someone to search for. A flicker of brown caught his eye and instinctively he reached out and grasped what it was that flicked past his vision. It turned out to be a substantial length of rope, gods knew where it had come from though he wound it around and around into a knot and slung it over his shoulder, it might come in useful.

Their going was slow, the winds fierce and throughout it all Honrin could not keep his thoughts from Keldava. His sister was out alone in the wilderness somewhere in the middle of this storm because of him, because he had chased her away by hurting her. He would never forgive himself if she didn't come home, never. But Dalgina was someone he could save, she would have to contain her fear of their mother if she wanted to live through this though. She would be so scared, she had been scared of the rain storm they had danced in together but he had helped her to enjoy it a little, this was far worse. As they came to Hotaru's house something broke within him and he pounded on the door, heedless of Skye and the male who resembled Hotaru, fear was a blinding emotion erasing everyone else, fear was beginning to crack the shell, the soul coldness around his mind, the damage that he had once spoken to Skye of was beginning to crumble,

"DALGINA!"

ariel said hotaru's in the house Smile

She nodded curtly to Adrian - they had to find Hotaru. She wasted no moments in racing as fast as she could in the sleet and rain to Hotaru's house; Honrin seemed to have been already there, his usual mask of apathy worn away in fear and concern for his sister Dalgina, who also lived in Hotaru's house.

Skye attempted to wedge herself between Honrin and the door and with great effort, yanked it open against the harsh winds and rain. She entered the house, which was calmer than the outside, but she could hear the pressure of the storm causing the little home to creak and shudder - it would not last long.

"Dalgina!" she shouted, scanning the house with her eyes, searching for the little black wolf. "Hotaru!" She looked back out into the entrance, motioning for the others to follow her and help save the two from the almost-collapsing house.

Adrian remembered Dalgina, he had meant her when she had come to his house that one day. The black female with all the accessories. Adrian knew that her and Hotaru were close but he hadn't thought about them both being in Hotaru's house together. But that was obviously the case since Skye was calling out for both of them. He moved up into the house with a fury. He had to find Hotaru. She had told him he had to pay for what he did by living with it. And he would. But he would be sure that she was there to see didn't take the easy way out. He would also make sure she didn't as well.

He brushed past the other wolf who had joined them, yelling into the house "Hotaru!?!" He screamed, using all of the years of learning to control his voice to try and project it through the house over the wind. Adrian knew that he should keep calm and for the most part he did. But he could feel the growing frenzy to find Hotaru. It was his fault she was blind and it was his job to help her now. What good was he if he couldn't even try to right his wrong in even this tiny way. So he searched through the house with an increased vigor. As he turned the corned into another room, he saw someone. The house room was too dark for him to make out any coloration, but he moved towards the wolf and placed a hand on their shoulder. "Hotaru?!" He yelled, hoping that he had found his sister alive and well.

OOC: Sorry for being late DX

The storm that had been brewing for the past few days had begun to pick up. Everything had felt off and even without her vision Hotaru knew that the storm was no ordinary shower. Wind howled, buffeting the wooden house and causing it to rock the foundation. Rain flew down, stinging Hotaru's muzzle and nose as she stood outside in the rain. The terrifying gusts took away all scents and made hearing nearly impossible. Hotaru stood with one hand braced against her partially open door, not daring to let go for fear of loosing her way. There was so much noise that it made the blind female feel dizzy and overwhelmed.

She had left Dalgina for only a moment, only long enough to have Fawkes and Kelia return to her. They had been off hunting in the village, just at the storm had hit. Neither bird wanted to go, but they also felt the need to provide food for their master. Before leaving, Hotaru had checked on Dalgina, trying to get her to follow Skye's command and go to the rest of the pack. Even if Hotaru couldn't go, at least Dalgina might get to safety. The black female had sworn she would be alright by herself and didn't have to heed their alpha's call, but Hotaru would not abandon her charge. Two pairs of claws gratefully dug into Hotaru's shoulders, letting her know that her birds were safe. Dripping wet from the rain, Hotaru felt her way back inside the house. Despite the lack of rain inside, Hotaru felt no safer. She could hear the wood creaking and straining against the powerful winds.

Neither bird spoke as their master moved into the house. All three hunters were wet, tired, and scared. Nothing like this had happening in their memory, and their panicked instincts only made things worse. Hotaru rasped gently on Dalgina's door frame, trying to call her attention despite the nose outside. "Dalgina, Ovi, I'm back. I will just be in to other room with Fawkes and Kelia. They had a frightful time trying to get back. Just... let me know if you need anything." The Maven spoke as she would to a frightened pup, her voice calm and comforting despite the fear that bubbled inside her and stirred her stomach.

After checking on Dalgina and Ovidu, Hotaru found her way to her bedroom. The windows shook and threatened to crack as yet another gust of wind blasted against the house. Rain pattered loudly against the roof and glass, nearly drowning out other sounds. Focusing on her task, Hotaru checked each bird carefully for injuries and gently dried their feathers with an old, moth-eaten cloth. It wasn't the best, but at least Kelia and Fawkes were a little drier. Fear began to coat her mind, making her shudder as she worked.

Muffled voices drifted through the walls, but they were so overpowered by the sound of the house and storm that Hotaru wondered if she had been imagining things. A hand pressed down onto her shoulder, causing the blind wolf to jump. Startled she turned around and sniffed. Adrain. Immediately suspicious, Hotaru backed away slightly. "What are you doing here?"

Adrian froze when Hotaru turned to look at him. He was frozen by fear and pain as his eyes went to hers but he saw no sign of their uselessness. The fact that he saw eyes at all made him relieved. He had been having nightmares, night after night, seeing Hotaru on the ground, crying. And when Adrian approached her, she looked up at him with empty sockets, whispering to him, "Why Adrian? Why?" Adrian usually woke up covered in sweat and he would try to scream and nothing would come out. But this Hotaru had her eyes, no matter how useless they might be.

Adrian took a step towards her when she recoiled from him. He couldn't trust her to hear him over the storm shaking the house, "I'm here to get you and anyone else stuck in the storm out of it. Skye and another wolf are with me." He said, then, because he felt like his heart was being crushed because it was obvious she didn't trust him, he lowered his voice so hopefully only she could hear him over the storm, "And I'm living with my guilt and the knowledge of what I did to you." He said, repeating what she had told him the last time they had seen each other. The he reached for her hand, taking it and gripping it so she couldn't pull away without fighting him. He wasn't going to lose her again this time."Is there anyone else in the house? Is Dalgina here? Skye and the other wolf can get her. I'm getting you back to the shop." He said, yelling over the wind as he looked over his shoulder for Skye and the other wolf. They should have followed him in, but he wasn't sure where they were. He wanted to tell them he was taking Hotaru to the shop but he couldn't bring himself to leave them. He might be Hotaru's protecter, but was he truly willing to sacrifice the lives of others again just for hers? He wasn't sure he was.

Dalgina lifted her head, wide brown eyes trusting. Okay! Her voice was at a shout, despite the fact that Dalgina rarely made a loud cry. She stayed where she was, not trusting that she would be able to stand up and move. Ovi stayed close, licking at her trembling body and doing his best to keep Dalgina safe as the storm threatened around them, ready to collapse down. The cries of others whipped through the air, not exactly anything she could make out. Her ears raised, worried. Was Taru calling for her?

She forced herself to stand, Ovi coming with her. Tehu kept his grip on her body, the occasional call of distress breaking through. The young wolf stuck through, spotting someone gripping Taru. It was Adrian, and there were two others with him, though she couldn't identify their scents. The white wolf did look like her brother. Honrin? Moving over to Taru she buried her body into the carver's, drawing in her scent. Ovi was close behind, making sure that the storm didn't manage to send her bowling over.

skye is going to get taliesin! all of you guys are on your own :O PM me if you have questions!

Skye saw as Adrian ran past her, finally finding Hotaru; she seemed alright, as did Dalgina, but the house let out another moan, and shifted under the pressure of the storm. It would not last long, and once it fell, it would crush everyone underneath it - there was not a lot of time, although she had to trust Honrin and Adrian to get Dalgina and Honrin to safety.

The storm was steadily getting worse outside, and the house still would be able to hold for a while while everyone escaped. However, there were still others lost in the storm, not yet found.. in a split second, Skye had to make a decision. She paced over to Adrian, moving to clasp a hand on his shoulder.

"Adrian," she barked, "Take Hotaru and lead her to the shop." She looked at Hotaru, knowing the woman could not see her, but could still hear her - "Hotaru, even if you do not trust him, please trust me!" She had to hold faith in Hotaru's brother now, no matter how much it held against her instinct to not trust people she did not know. Now, she had no choice.

She turned to Dalgina. "Everything is going to be okay, Dalgina!" She looked back at Honrin. "Honrin, you are in charge of Dalgina and Ovidiu - make sure they all get to the shop safely. I have to find Taliesin." Myrddin had told Skye that Taliesin had stayed behind to gather some things, but had not returned.

Without another word, but trusting that her members would follow orders and guide their families home, Skye forced the door open and shut it as quickly as she could without allowing the harsh winds inside. She began to make her way towards Taliesin's house, emerging into the forest - the trees provided a buffer for the wind, but also threw debris in Skye's direction, pelting her with flying twigs and branches.

<3, sorry for being late Big Grin

Ookami sat, restless in the shop with all his pack members. His fingers were itching to dig into the soft flesh on his wrists. It had become an obsession, he wanted to feel that pain. Since there were so many people around he resorted to just clenching and unclenching his fist, feeling the pain of his broken knuckles spark up life through his arm. He wasn't scared during the hurricane, he had beent throught that snowstorm in Phoenix Valley and much worse had happened than what was going on right now. But as he saw Skye leave the shop, and then Adrian, he too got up.

They wouldn't be going at it alone. He walked out after them, quickly shutting the door behind him. The cold wind blasted onto his face, throwing him back into the door slightly. He leaned forward into the wind, searching through the rain for the two figures that walked ahead of him. The want to cut into his skin was growing more and more, and he needed that release if he was going to be of any help. Looking down to both wrists, he saw the cuts that were still there. Some were deep and scabbed over, while others were shallow and nearly gone, but there was fur missing from each place where his nail had dragged over the flesh.

His right hand rubbed his wrists slightly and finally one of his sharp nails dug down deep into his skin and he pulled it over to the side, spliting the skin and watching the burst of crimson red as it came to the surface of his skin. It stained the gold fur around it and he let out a little moan of that painful pleasure that escaped with his blood.

He looked up, finding that he had lost sight of Skye and Adrian. He searched though he couldn't see them. He pressed forward, leaning into the wind as it caused his thick gold fur to whip around on his body. The rain stung the fresh gash on his wrist as he pressed on. He called out for the two, but his voice was lost in the wind and rain.

After walking for what seemed like ever, he finally saw them entering a house. There was a white wolf now too, whom he assumed was Honrin. He trailed after them, trying to jog up quick so that he could get there fast but the wind pushed him back. He didn't see Skye exit the house, but it was evident that she was no longer there when he walked it.. But that didn't matter. "What can I do?" His deep voice was projected so that it could be heard over the wind as he looked around in the room. Honrin and Dalgina were here, as well as Adrian and someone who looked an awful lot like him.

Rarely had he ever not found shelter before a storm, but he was just getting used to the scents and sights of Cercatori D'Arte. Around him, the wind whipped violently, trees swaying to the left and right. The rain stung at his eyes which partially kept open and it was all he could do to force himself against a leaning tree, his snout lowered toward the ground. Being in his large, secui form turned out to be the saving grace for now as his claws dug into the side of the tree, latching him onto it for dear life. Slight whimpers of fear left his maw, but he couldn't just give up. Not after coming this far, finally joining a pack. He growled at himself for leaving his stuff at that thicket of bushes a ways from here, bright, pleading eyes scraping over the world all around him.

The howl of the wind was all he could hear, the escalating sound of the rain pelting sideways into his body. It was only at this time that he lowered to the ground, his claws parting from the tree. He finally caught his first scent, the smell of horse manure, hay.. He wondered where it came from, why he hadn't noticed it before and that's when the realization hit him. He hadn't exactly been able to meet any of the other pack members yet, none at all other then Skye.

The fear of what he'd just realized washed over him in waves. How could I have been so stupid! But even so, he knew that he had to do something to be seen, to get to safe haven within this hell of a storm. His silken, copper toned was soaked, cooling him without reprieve and only now was he beginning to fill the chills that shivered through his body, making it hard for his teeth not to clatter and clink against the others with the cold that had suddenly stricken him. The instinct to survive, the instinct to live on finally made him rise to his paws, claws clinging the ground in order to stay on his feet and then he rushed forward at a brisk pace, moving on toward that scent that was all but lost on the wind that raged around him.

In an instant, his howl cut through the air, piercing the wind. But he was unsure of whether even it could be heard. He'd never had a loud howl. It's one of the reasons why he didn't use it often. That and the fact that when he was alone, it hadn't been some thing that he'd done often. Maybe once or twice when he'd noticed another wolf coming upon his mother and himself. Water stung against his face, against the lengthened fur that had gathered at his throat upon his transformation, at his pelt. It hurt, like bee stings. One of the only things he hated were bees and right now, the rain reminded him of the tiny little pests. In order to keep himself moving against the hard wind, he pushed against the trees, using them as support as much as blatantly possible, claws burying within their bark. Only when he found himself moving on did he catch a glimmer of hope that possibly he'd make it.

If only he'd gotten to the shop before though. He knew there'd be hell to pay if he didn't soon enough.

OOC: Late, sorry Sad Hotaru leaves thread now

If looks could kill, Adrian would have been long dead. Hotaru's expression was livid and she stood almost defensively as her twin spoke. She could barely hear his words over the creaking of the house and crashing rain. But his voice was uncomfortably familiar and whatever Hotaru couldn't quite hear she was able to guess at the meaning. He was there to help straggles, along with Skye and maybe someone else. Hotaru shook her head, ready to throw a few biting words out and send Adrian on his way. But his mention of the command she gave him made the female pause for a moment. "Whatever." It was all she could manage for the moment, but the ice in her voice was clear.

Adrain's strong hand took hold of her, holding her dexterous paw fast so that she was unable to break free. Hotaru struggled for a moment, yanking as she tried to break the strong male's grip. When that didn't succeed she said, "Let go." Adrian spoke of Dalgina, asking if she was around, but his readiness to forget the pup only made Hotaru even angrier. "I am not leaving without Dalgina! Neither will I go without Ovidiu, Fawkes, and Kelia" As if on cue, Dalgina's scent filled the room. The blind female jumped slightly as Dalgina buried herself into the Maven's fur. Taking her free hand, Hotaru wrapped her arm protectively around the pup and gave Dalgina a reassuring lick. "Everything will be fine, Dalgina. I promise."

Skye's command made the arrangement permanent. Adrain would lead Hotaru away, whether she liked it or not. "Fine Adrian, but you take Fawkes. I'll keep my hand on your shoulder and hold onto Kelia." Fawkes gave an unwilling click of his tongue, communicated to Hotaru that he did not like the arrangement at all. Fawkes knew what Adrian did to Hotaru, and hated him perhaps more than Hotaru herself. "Fawkes, Your going to keep an eye on him. Bite him if he doesn't stay on course."

Finally managing to yank her hand away from Adrian, the blind female gently separated herself form Dalgina and scooped up Kelia with one arm. She returned to her brother and gripped the tall males shoulder. "Lets go. Dalgina, Hornin, Ovidiu, please join us."

Dalgina listened to Skye's words, anxiety glowing in her eyes. She didn't know if this was going to be okay. Taru was stiff with anxiety, and it made Dalgina worry that something was going to go even more wrong than before. Her calm had been shattered, or at least what Taru had been showing to Dalgina as calm. She glanced over to the stranger who entered as Skye slipped out, staring at him with wide eyes. Who was that? She wanted to stay with Taru and Ovi, even if the storm was threatening to rip everything apart.

A reassuring lick was given to Dalgina, gazing up at Taru trustingly. Sure, Taru wasn't perfect, but she was the one Dalgina trusted the most. They took care of each other. She slipped away from Taru, watching anxiously as the angry female prepared to leave. It didn't look like they were getting a choice in the matter anymore. Nodding her head Dalgina knotted her fingers into Ovi's fur and stepped forwards, gripping tightly onto Tehu. She couldn't lose any of them. Hopefully it would be a short trip.

Exit Honrin

He was all ready and anxious to see her, to see his dear sister and make her safe. That was his job wasn't it, as her big brother. He was her guardian, the sun that guarded the moon. But.. it was not to be. What he saw stopped him in his tracks, she didn't turn to him for comfort as the storm raged ever more but to Hotaru and in that moment he realised that she had replaced them, replaced them all, her mother and father and siblings, and put the Maven in their place. For a moment a surge of hatred for the blind woman filled him. The boy's overly long canines ached to lash out and tear into flesh, to make her pay, she had torn their family apart by taking Dalgina away, just because she couldn't take care of her own children properly and they had died didn't mean she could steal away his sister.

Drawing himself up tall, the Denahlii man gave both of them a cold look, she wanted to go to the Maven then let her. She wasn't a sister to him anymore, she couldn't be. She had removed him from her heart, it hurt to acknowledge this. She wasn't his sister anymore, she was a stranger. This was his last angry thought as the coldness came down again and he willingly embraced it, welcoming back the emotionless that let him not feel at all. The rope that he had been going to suggest they use to keep together fell from his fingers, he didn't care. They could all drown.

He turned his back on them, on all of them and marched forwards, back out into the storm that echoed his insides. He felt fully the effects of his torn heart once he was alone and the rain sunk deep into his fur. One sister may well be dead because of him, and another had torn herself away and renounced the family. Very well then, if she could not love all of them, then she could not love any of them. Where would he go tonight, out in the rain he would stay and not seek shelter of the pack. He didn't want to see his mother and her new children, more siblings to hurt him and maim his already crippled soul.

Adrian was just about to tell Hotaru he wasn't arguing with her about this when Skye came in and saved him the trouble. Hotaru might not trust him, but Skye would never do anything to hurt one of her own. So with that Adrian smiled, knowing that he could get Hotaru to saftey now. He looked at Skye and nodded, "I'll get them to safety. Good luck." He said, before turning back to Hotaru and waiting while she made her demands. He was about to argue that the others could save them, but he had no time too as they all quickly joined him and Hotaru in the room.

Adrian watched as Hotaru worked out how everyone would get out of there. Adrian winced as he felt the sharp claws of 'Fawkes' land on his other shoulder that Hotaru wasn't holding. He glanced at the bird out of the corner of his eyes but otherwise held his peace. Then, when he felt Hotaru's hand on his shoulder he started back towards the entrance to the house, the others following behind him. Adrian wasn't sure where the other wolf who had joined him and Skye was, but he didn't have time to stop and think. He made his way out the door and stopped, waiting for everyone to catch up, he looked back and nodded to himself as he was assured they were all there. Then he set out for the shop. It was hard going, with rain flying around them and the wind trying to mislead them. But Adrian kept going, being lead by his need to make sure Hotaru got to safety. He would die before he left himself stop.

Finally the shop came into view through the rain. Adrian yelled back at the others behind him to let them know they were close. He felt Hotaru's hands tighten their grip on his shoulder in acknowledgement that she heard him. Adrian nodded and continued. He heard a howl coming from somewhere, but right now he couldn't think about that. Afterwards he would return the howl.

He reached the shop door and pried it open, putting a hand on Hotaru's back and guiding her in. Then followed Dalgina and the tiger, along with any other tag alongs he hadn't noticed. The Adrian let the door close, and he remained outside. He howled and howled, hoping to lead whoever had howled earlier to the shop. He stood out there and kept howling. He wouldn't stop until someone showed up, or his voice gave out. And for a singer like Adrian, his voice could go a while without giving out.

Word Count → 000

Leviothan he is howling for you. I didn't want him to go back out so do what you will with him howling Smile.
