They had come home early that morning, it took them so long to get back from their journey and now Eclipse was certain no matter what, puppy or death she would be staying in Cercatori for some time. She hated the storm to no end, she didn’t know what to do while she had been stuck in Vinatta all those days, but she tried to help in any way she could. She wanted to help her family, but she also knew that Robert was on edge as well. He would rather be at home here than somewhere else.

So when they came into Cercatori D’ Arte it was apparent they had damage to most everywhere. Eclipse was surprised to see that her own house had little damage, the flood had not risen up as high as her own house’s foundation and it had no basement, so she had gotten lucky. Very lucky, but it seemed not everyone was so lucky. She already saw rebuilding had begun, and was thinking of what she could do to help. She saw that the gardens too had been flooded, that made Eclipse sad because of that their crops were all but gone. She was rather glad that they were meat eaters, but hoped that no one had gotten sick here. She would hate to hear someone had gotten sick like her cousin puppies up in Vinatta.

She couldn’t sleep, though that was exactly where Robert had gone as soon as they found places for their horses. Eclipse was wide awake and just felt she would keep her mate up for all the tossing and turning she would be doing if she were in bed right then. No she was walking the villaige, looking to see what she could do, though most everything was water damage and the water level had gone down since she came back. She couldn't’ imagine how bad it had been earlier during the storm and wished she had not left in the first place. But that was all in hindsight she thought as she neared her alpha’s home, towards the garden area, to see exactly how devastated it had been.
