ooc: Set "pre-killing-Andrezej" and before Faolin's return.

She was a little better. A little was always better than not at all, and the girl could only agree with herself by giving a simple nod. She was more than quiet lately, seeming mute until words were pulled out of her by circumstance, but there was always a reason. Corona's comfort had got words from her, and Sirius' claim that she was weird, and she had spoken with her father. She hurt more than she let on; just about everything on her entire body hurt, including that sacred place Andrezej had reached. She had been defenseless, too young to know what was happening and too little to stop it once it had begun. He had weakened her further; the memory of his fists forcing her into near unconsciousness multiple times was almost too much to bear.

Despite the memories and the haunting image of him that seemed to rest forever in her peripheral vision, causing her to be jumpy and unpredictable, her appetite had returned somewhat. Corona's medicine helped immensely as well, but at the same time, she could feel the tension within the clan. Nobody was past being on guard even with themselves, and nobody would hesitate to kill anyone who came near her. It was a comfort, and at the same time it was incredibly troubling on the young hybrid. She knew that she was important to the clan, as was her brother, but in needing their protection she was taking away from their own duties. She didn't have the strength and will to berate herself for being a burden, but what else could she do?

She felt guilty for it, but that was all there was to it. She had taken up building sandcastles in her spare time, but today she didn't. Today, she walked with a small bucket, collecting hermit crabs in the murky sand she had lined the bottom with that she was going to relocate to the water wherever she was going. Her destination was not set, but she stuck around her drawn circle, as if she was tied by a leash to the lines she'd drawn with her own hands and a stick into the soft surface of Inferni's earth.
