This is for anyone, but it would be super awesome if Anselm ran into Poe or Savina, since we've never had any follow-up threads. :x

(!@#$%)Sometimes subconscious desires are best left as just that. He could make up excuses all day for why he'd come here: he wanted to find some more tools, he wanted to find some books on medicine, he wanted to practise his carpentry. Ultimately, though, those things were merely afterthoughts. Still, he thought it ridiculous of himself that he was coming here on the off chance that he might meet a woman--maybe two in particular. He'd told Savina he'd be around the city if she ever wanted to look for him, and yet he'd spent relatively little time here. He hadn't seen Poe since the day they met, and as time puttered along he was becoming less and less convinced that the whole thing ever even happened. His mystery faerie had vanished into thin air!

(!@#$%)Half-shifted, he'd have a hard time telling anybody that he was here to look at human things. Then again, he reminded himself, it wasn't as if he needed to justify his presence to random passerby's. There was a distant look to him even though he was keenly aware of everything going on around him. He avoided all of the broken glass and debris while staring up at the looming concrete buildings; he heard every mouse or rat that dared to move even though he mostly heard the sound of his own heartbeat and breathing. All of a sudden, he reached an intersection. In the very centre of where Atlantic Street and Tower Road met, he dropped to his haunches and sat, simply staring at what was around him. To the right was an abandoned university, but he glanced away. Was there a single living soul out here?

Rawr. And btw, I love Handlebars by Flobots <3 Oh! and does Anslem know that Ryan is his daughter yet? Cause Savina would probably want to ask >.>

This dead city still gave the she wolf a bad feeling. Something about it just felt so wrong to her. Maybe it was her "natural" upbringing, or maybe it was the generations of fear of humans that had bred into wild canines. Either way it made her uneasy. Still, she forced herself inside its boundaries, on a mission to explore. After all, she was a leader now, and if someone needed something from this place she might need to go get it. So Savina figured she might as well try to get acquainted with the place sooner rather than later.

Her unshifted form moved through the various empty streets and alleyways. Silver chain with the pink shell dangled back and forth from her neck as she moved. That sense of eeriness was creeping up her spine, making her nervous. It was empty. There was the occasional mouse or rat every now and then, but that was it. The place reeked of death and decay, of broken stone and steel. Even though the city was empty as could be, the femme couldn't shake the feeling that something or someone was watching her. She'd constantly stop in her tracks and swivel her ears around, searching for any sound of movement. Emerald orbs darted back and forth across the cityscape.

As she shuffled warily down the road her eyes caught a glimpse of gold from the periphery. Limbs stopped and sleek head turned to take in the form down the street. Nose lightly sniffed the air to try and catch the other's scent. He looked a bit different, and his back was to her, but she was fairly certain it was him. "Anslem?" Her accented voice called out. At another time she might've walked up to him, but her paranoia induced by this place held her body to wait and make sure it was indeed him.

Not yet! :o

(!@#$%)He was certainly surprised to hear his name called out in this ghost town. Remarkably, though, it was called out by one of those elusive phantoms he'd been hoping to see. Turning his large head around casually, he caught sight of the Italian black beauty he'd comforted on the beach. She was un-shifted now but he still found her as attractive as before and her voice just as lovely. His tail swept along the ground behind him thrice before he rose and pivoted about on his feet. She shrank as he closed the distance between them--sometimes it was odd how they all managed to operate on three different levels, depending on how far along they were in their (in)famous transformations.

(!@#$%)How've you been doing? he asked lightly once they were within comfortable talking distance. He was almost eager to divert his thoughts from himself to somebody else--and this would be perfect. He was also somewhat curious as to whether or not she'd truly taken his advice to heart... it was easy to tell someone you were taking them seriously when you were with them, but old habits died hard. Did she still stress over her attack on whoever had done such horrible things? How long ago had that even happened? Sometimes it was entirely too easy to lose track of time.

zonoes :O I'll just have her ask about Ryan then, and not use the word "daughter", as long as that's alright.

A smile graced her face as the male turned and revealed that it was Anslem. Her tail wagged gently in response with his own and he rose and began to walk towards her. She was glad to have the company in this creepy place, especially so of a strong male. It wasn't that she needed anyone to protect her, but it certainly didn't hurt her feeling of security. The form that his body took was not one that she saw many take too often. It was bulkier than the two other, but it was clear it had its advantages. It would certainly be good in a fight.

"I've been doing well. Busy though. Twilight Vale disbanded and we've combined with a couple members of Shadowed Sun to form a new pack. I did a lot of work helping it all get put together, and I'm actually helping lead it. I can still hardly believe it." It was true, it was somewhat still hard for the Italian girl to think that she was helping lead a pack. "What about you?" Even though they'd only had the one encounter, it almost felt like reuniting with an old friend. He'd done a lot for her with their one talk, and for that she counted the red-eyed canine as one of her good friends.
