For Haven Big GrinBig Grin Hiiiiii! How are you?

push it inThere was a sudden break in the light shower of rain that had been going on all night, it had calmed slowly as the inky-black sky had lightened, warming the room with rose and gold hints until finally the dawn had broken properly and the sun attempted to shine through the thick grey clouds, fat with rain drops, promising more rain later in the day. But for this moment there was a break in the showers, the pattering of small water droplets against the smudged window pane in Soran's room had ceased, leaving small rivulets as the last droplets raced down the glass, allowing gravity to drop them to the window sill. Outside the wind was blowing through the trees sharply, warmer that it had been earlier, but still as blustery as it pulled more of the leaves from the gnarled branches that they sat upon. The last few leaves of autumn were fighting stubbornly against being stripped from the trees that they clung to, challenging the inevitable change of the seasons, refusing to go, but one by one being pulled against their will into the air and onto the wet ground at the roots of their former homes.

push it inThe tall lady lay sprawled on her new bed, having had the room for around a week she had yet to make it really home-like, not having had time to do anything more than pack the few books and possessions she had had with her in her canvas bag when she had arrived at the borders, having not yet had time to go and raid the nearby library to increase both the pack's and her own reading stash. Soran stretched, yawning slightly, crossing her lithe front legs one over the other, stretching out her paws carefully, flexing her toes and claws slowly. Another yawn escaped the ebony fae's lips, her night had been restless, her dreams filled with the dancing red boy that she had killed, and Hollow's laughing face, no matter how many times the fae had lunged at the red male who had fathered her pups in her dream she could not hurt him and still he had laughed, one arm resting protectively around Dhalia's waist, proving that her daughter was his, that he had corrupted her to his way of thinking, that he had tarnished their only daughter.

push it inA grumble rolled in the dark lady's stomach and her velvet ears flattened against her dark skull, the silver hoops in her left ear glinting in the early morning light. She let out a sigh, knowing that it was time to move, she was hungry and there was only one way to solve that, to go and get something to eat. Soran was still uncomfortable with going into the pack's stores in order to feed herself, she felt that she had not been there long enough to have that right yet, true Naniko knew who she was, as did Salem, but the dark lady was unsure who else was in the pack, it was more than likely that she would encounter someone that she did not know and they would be upset about her simply helping herself to food. Plus she felt rude, having not yet had a chance to bring anything substantial back for the pack; she did not feel that she had contributed so she would not take yet. And so the dark grandmother slid from the bed, landing silently on her large paws, padding softly across the floor and pushing the door open with her shoulder, wincing at the way it creaked, straining against the old hinges, knowing that she would have to shift into her bipedal form later on and fix that so that it opened soundlessly, in case she went for one of her midnight wanders, she wouldn't want to wake the whole house just because she fancied a stroll under the moon.

push it inAnd so Soran trotted down the stairs and out of the front door merrily, standing on the porch momentarily, breathing in deeply, smiling at the scent of the crisp of the fresh morning air. She loved the scents that autumn brought, the smell of the wet grass and trees, the smell of the berries and nuts growing here and there on hedgerows and bushes, and best of all, the scent of those creatures who were gathering the berries and nuts to store for the winter. The lady's jade eyes scanned the lands close to the house, smiling slightly she she spotted the fat little rabbit nibbling away at the grass by the base of one of the nearby trees, it's black eyes staring unnerved into the lands, having not spotted her from her vantage point on the porch. Suddenly the ebony lady lunged forwards, leaping from the wooden porch, her strong legs powering her onto the ground, the fae landed at a run, racing towards the rabbit at speed, despite everything the fae had kept up her hunting and so this kind of chase was not too much of a challenge for her yet, she may have been a grandmother but she felt far from old as she raced, exhilarated towards the suddenly terrified rabbit. It tried to run, it's small legs powering it away from the dark lady, but she pounced, catching it in her jaws, killing it as quickly as she possibly could, not wanting the small creature to suffer. Just because she was now Soran's breakfast didn't mean that she had to deal with any pain or fear for any longer than was necessary.

Hai! Big Grin And my posts will not even match that length on a good day, haha XD

The young pumpkin colored boy had risen at his usual time, but the sky had been pouring buckets. He hated how it was rainy all the time! It was fine once and a while, but with how cold it was, playing out in the rain was no fun. He got too cold and would shiver until he was dry. That was an especially long time when there was no one around to help him dry off. He laid at the mouth of the cave, chin resting on his two large front paws. Eyes stared listlessly out through the curtain of rain, a soft whine escaping his throat every now and then. He wanted to go play! Not be stuck inside the boring old den.

Droopy lids had begun to shut over jade orbs when suddenly the downpour stopped. His bi-colored ears twitched and his head lifted. A smile tugged at his mouth and he got to his feet, shaking his pelt before taking steps onto the soggy ground. His nose was overpowered with the smell of wet earth. The Aatte boy snorted and shook his head. It was awful when smells were too strong. How was he supposed to practice his tracking when all he could smell was the mud? Maybe today would be a good day to go explore the mansion more. That way if it started to rain again he wouldn't be forced to stay in the family den. Deciding this was the best course of action, he somewhat clumsily made his way to the large house.

It took Haven longer than usual to get near the manor he was named after. The ground was slippery and often his paws went sliding every which way. He was getting so frustrated he started yipping and growling at the mud, wanting it to stop being so bothersome. Though as he was getting near the front steps he was distracted by a great black form launching off of the porch. The pup's mouth hung open as he watched the wolf fly after a rabbit and catch it with no problem at all. At first he thought it must have been Savina, since she was the only black female in the pack, so he started off after her. Maybe she would share her meal with him. However as he came nearer he realized that this wolf didn't smell like Savina at all. His brows furrowed together as he stared at the strange wolf. "Who's you?" If she wasn't a part of the pack she shouldn't be taking their rabbits!

Don't worry about it, I've been deprived of roleplay for so long I'm in ramble mode XD

push it inSoran smiled, pleased with herself, she still had it, even on this muddy ground she had managed to catch a rabbit, for a female of her age she supposed that it would slowly become more difficult to catch food even on a good day, not that the lady was old yet, she remembered Skoll, he had always been older than she was now and fighting fit and well, she hoped that she would slip into her older years with the same agility and strength that he had retained. Not that she felt old at the moment, she was far too happy being here in this pack, with her almost-daughter and being so close to her and having granchildren around that she was yet to meet, the prospect was exciting and delightful to the ebony lady. Even with all the guilt and regret that was still preying on her mind on a very regular basis she was able to feel relaxed once again, to feel like she belonged somewhere, she hoped that it would last, she hoped that her grandpups did not know of her behaviour towards their aunt and uncle and, to some extent their father, she hoped that they would expect her to stay around and form real relationships with her, not that they would know of her disappearing acts and not bother to get to know her, lest she left again. She hoped beyond all hope that they would want to know her and that she would be able to rekindle and fix her old relationships here. Naniko seemed to be glad to see her at least, that was a start, a step in the right direction, and this time she would prove that she could stay around and not just race for cover when hardship hit.

push it inShe nudged the limp rabbit corpse with her nose as she thought, rolling it over to get at the meatier sections of it without having to chew through too much bone, she was too hungry to bother with too much chewing. But as she leant her head down, her lips parting, exposing her sharp teeth, to strip a chunk of meat from the sizeable dead rabbit a voice caught her attention. She knew instantly that it was a pup's voice and her heart skipped slightly, she had already met Salem so she knew that it was not him speaking to her, perhaps it was one of her other grandchildren. She was cautioning herself not to get her hopes up, after all she knew that packs often had more than one litter of pups at a time and many of them would take in lone strays should they need a home, as she turned her head. And then she saw the small red pup and she was sure, he was exactly the way that Naniko had described him, Conri's colouring with her build, he had brilliant green eyes and russet fur, just like her boy. A smile crossed her lips as she looked at him.
"Hello there, my name is Soran Aatte, I'm new to the pack. And who might you be young sir?"She asked, her tone warm, knowing full well that this must be Haven, the pup that Naniko had bestowed Soran's surname upon, but she chose to let him speak, just in case she was blinded and was simply seeing what she wanted to see. After all, he looked exactly like Conri colour wise and exactly like Naniko build wise, but the lady knew better than to be totally optomistic, plus she wanted to hear him speak, to let him have the chance to introduce himself.

Short, cause there wasn't a whole lot for me to say XD

The small guy had a rather scolding look on his face. As if this was some intruder he was about to chase out of his packlands. There were times he really didn't even think of how unintimidating he was. But as the female turned around his expression softened. She had a nice smile. When she spoke her name the boy's head cocked to the side. She had the same last name as him! How was that possible? "Aatte? Mah name's Aatte. Well, mah last names is. Mah first name is Haven."

He had all but forgot about everything else she had said. The fact that she was new to the pack. The fact that just a second ago he had seen her as a stranger in his home. He needed to get to the bottom of this same nameness.

That's fair enough, sorry I didn't give you too much to work with there did I?

push it inSoran smiled down at the little red boy, already she was amused by him, he seemed so sweet and innocent, the way he had openly asked who she was, as if he were in charge of the pack himself, doing his bit by guarding the border. The ebony fae cocked her head to one side at the same time the red pup did, mirroring his stance. She couldn't help but do this, when she was around pups she often had the urge to be playful, to be motherly but a friend at the same time, she had been like that with Conri and she wished that she had been like that with Khaden and Dhalia, she had been a mother, keeping an eye on him, making sure he was safe, a teacher, explaining the world to him, and she had also been a friend, playing with him, teaching him to hunt and race around the lands. The slender black fae hoped that she would be able to be a friend to the pups in this pack, especially her grandchildren. And so she sat, watching him, a smile playing across her lips as she looked at him.

push it inFinally he spoke, ahh indeed he was her grandson, that was marvellous, she was so pleased with her luck, that she had now encountered both her grandsons. She was rather delighted actually, and now she looked at him afresh, seeing Conri in him, in his eyes and his face, and seeing Naniko in him, in the light behind his eyes, the sweet look that her almost-daughter always seemed to radiate at the ebony lady.
“Ahhh so you are Haven then, your mother had told me that you were around here when I met your brother Salem. Hello there young one, I'm your grandmother.” Soran said happily, having no problem admitting the truth to the young boy, she wanted him to know. The lady moved forwards slightly, picking the almost-forgotten rabbit up in her jaws and dropping it closer to the red pup, offering it to him, she wouldn't have minded sharing had he not been her grandson, but now she minded even less feeding her son's son.
"Would you like to share my breakfast Haven?" She asked politely, watching him, unable to steal her eyes away from him, as had been the case with Salem, she was stunned by how small they were, and yet still so perfect, she'd proven her father wrong, her blood was not bad, how could it be with such beautiful children like the boys racing around.

Hehe, no worries!

Grandmother? What was a grandmother? He knew about mothers, and fathers, and uncles, and cousins, but not grandmothers. What was so grand about them? He thought this in no offense to the wolf in front of him, she seemed kind, but she didn't seem especially grand. But he supposed if she knew one of his mothers that all was well and he could relax about her being in the lands. "Which mom? An' whas a grandmother?" And the usual game of twenty questions began. Curiosity ruled the young boy's mind. Probably every other sentence that came out of his mouth was a question. But he attributed this to his fast paced learning. He liked to think that he knew more than his siblings. After all, he had been the first to adventure out of the den on his own.

His stubby tail began to wag happily as she offered to share the rabbit she had killed with him. The Aatte's mouth opened in a wide grin as he looked up thankfully to her. "Sures! I love wabbits! Thank yous!" Haven eagerly took a bite out of the animal, the meat satisfying his hungry tummy. As he swallowed his bright jade eyes looked back up at Soran. "Whens did yous get here?" Surely he would have known if she was around before now.

Eep! I am sorry that I kept you waiting so long hun Sad

push it inThe ebony lady smiled down at the small boy as he asked his first question, he was indeed inquisitive. The lady suddenly realised that he must not know about his father, he had asked which mother she was a parent of, this was expected the lady supposed, after her son had so cruelly attacked the small red boy's mother, for she was sure that was who he must have attacked from the way Naniko had avoided the question when the ebony fae had asked it, it was likely that the boy's mothers had chosen not to tell him of his blood father, lest they have to explain why he was not there and therefore his crime. She doubted that her pale amost-daughter would lie to her children, but she supposed that if the pups had never asked then she had never mentioned him either, after all the pups seemed to have two stable parents and they seemed more than happy with the situation. The lady suddenly realised that she would have to explain what a grandmother was and then she would have to explain the boy's father, she hoped that Naniko would not be upset if she mentioned him in conversation.
"A grandmother is the mother or one of your parents, so your mother's mother or your father's mother. I happen to be a great friend of your mummy Naniko and I am your father's mother." She replied, her tone warm and explanatory, she supposed after being truthful with him once, she might as well be again.

push it inShe smiled again as the small boy tucked into the plump rabbit she had caught only minutes before, she was glad to be sharing with him, it made her feel like she was provididng for him, something she had never done with Khaden and Dhalia, it made her feel better in a way, to be supporting one of her bloodline whilst he was still young and vunerable. The lady bent her large dark head to the rabbit carcass, plucking the smallest piece of meat she could manage to get with her sharp teeth, not wanting to seem as though she had just given it to him as she had offered to share it, but not wanting to take a lot of it, she could always catch another later when her grandson had gone inside, perhaps she would even take him hunting. She was still swallowing when Haven asked another question, she smiled as he spoke, he sounded so like Conri at his age, always asking questions, wanting to know everything he could as soon as he could, curious about the world.
"I have not been here long, only a few days, and I haven't been around for much of those, I have been exploring, trying to see what the land is like. I haven't met many other wolves that live here yet either, except for seeing your mother Naniko again and meeting Salem." She replied, before taking another tiny sliver of meat between her teeth and eating it.

The explanation Soran gave him for what a grandmother was made perfect sense. It was just a type of relative he had yet to learn about until now. But as she said that she was his father's mother, jade eyes shot up to stare confusedly at the woman. Small brows furrowed together, completely perplexed by what had just come out of her mouth. His father? But he didn't have a father. He knew what a father was, but he didn't have one. He had two mothers: Naniko and Anu. The boy really didn't know how to feel about this, no certain emotion popped into his head right away aside that of confusion. Was his supposed grandmother trying to play some sort of trick on him? If so she was a very good trickster since she looked like she was being honest.

"I dunno whas you mean. I dun has a father." It was the only response Haven could come up with. He had never really felt like this before, had something like this sprung on him. For argument's sake, say he did have a father. Then why wasn't he here? None of this was making any kind of sense to the pup. The second question she had answered about how long she had been here was lost to him. The only thing that seemed important at this moment was the subject at hand.

Have I mentioned that Haven is the cutest thing EVER?

push it inSoran's brow furrowed slightly as the boy spoke, this would be difficult to explain to the small red boy, she didn't know how far would be overstepping the boundary, she didn't want to lie to him, but the fact that Naniko had not wished to tell him about his father suggested that she wasn't sure they were ready for that knowledge. Plus the dark grandmother didn't really want to have to explain to the small red boy about his father, she hadn't yet come to terms with his actions, and she was a grown wolf, who had experienced such things first hand, she had been through it herself, she had witnessed so much cruelty and evil in the world and she was still finding it hard to cope with the information, she didn't want to upset her innocent grandson, nor did she want to tarnish what seemed to be a happy and inquisitive outlook on life. The lady stretched with a sigh, straightening her long legs out infront of her, before sliding forwards so she was lying down, it made it easier to look Haven in the eye, it would help when she was explaining this to him, she could look him in the eye so that he could see the honesty in her own jade orbs. She watched him carefully, licking the tip of her own nose nervously, unsure how to broach this subject without getting into reproduction and the complexities of love.

push it inFinally she decided that she would just answer him, she wouldn't lie, but it wouldn't be hard to omit certain truths that she didn't feel he was ready to know, or the ones that Naniko wouldn't want him to know yet.
“Yes you do, every pup has a father, but your father, well he can't be here right now, he's gone away, far away, he had to you see, he needed to, perhaps one day you'll meet him. But your mummy Naniko and your other mummy,” she paused for a moment, wracking her brains for the name of her almost-daughter's new love, "Anu, they both love you very much you know." She replied, wondering if she would have to warn him off the idea of going looking for his father, he would get lost, even she would get lost looking for him at the moment, she had no clue as to where he had gone. Soran hoped beyond all hope that she'd manage to get in contact with her son soon, she needed to see him, to find out what had happened from his point of view, to ask him why he had done it, to see if she could ever forgive him, and to let him know that she still loved him, despite it all, though she may never be able to look him in the eye again.

Awwww, thanks. He's a wittle sweetie-pie :3

As his grandmother laid down he moved to sit in front of her large paws. Big eyes looking closly into her own. He could see that she was deep in thought, trying to figure in her mind how to explain things to him. Was this all really that complicated? So far his family life had been so simple. He had his siblings, and they played and they fought. They had Nani and Anu to love them and care for them. He had met his uncle DaVinci and his cousin Ty. Everyone was nice and he cared for all of them deeply. So what was so difficult about this subject? The fact that he didn't have a father had never bothered him, or to his knowledge any of his siblings. They had their two loving mothers and that was wonderful. From what the boy could tell someone didn't even need a father.

Haven's head jerked back as she said that he did have a father. That everyone had a father. But why? Why did everyone have a father? And if he had one, why wasn't he here? He had to leave and go far away? But that didn't make sense. Everything had a reason didn't it? So there must be a reason for that as well. "...But why?" was all he could manage to ask. There wasn't any sadness or hurt in his voice, just that same sound of bewilderment. Maybe it didn't matter though. He had been doing fine and was happy with his family just the way it was. It sounded like this father person would just mess things up.

So sorry for the wait on this hun, I was going to reply yesterday, but after I fell down the stairs I decided that it was just best to go to bed, it was the last straw in my bad day lol.

pushitinSoran smiled down at the pup, he was so like Conri when he was small, so inquisitive, so curious, it made her glad to see that the good traits that Haven's father carried had been passed on, she prayed that his bad ones had not. For it was clear that the bad traits that Conri had picked up had come from Hollow, from his own father, and they had lain dormant until her red son had attacked Naniko, she hoped beyond everything that the "evil" genes from Haven's granfather had not been dominant, that they had not been passed on to yet another generation. She couldn't bear the thought of her beautiful grandsons being warped by Hollow's deranged mind, his cruel streak, looking at the small red pup before her and thinking of his dark brother that looked so like her and Khaden, she could not see the capability for evil in them, she could not imagine them willfully hurting anyone, especially someone they cared about, then again she had never seen it in Conri either, she had been sure that he was pure and perfect and harmless. The dark grandmother could never protest Conri's innocence, there was too much proof of his crime, but she did defend the notion that there was still something good in him, something that was still wonderful, even if it now lay dormant. And she saw good in her grandchildren, and if Hollow's genes were indeed dormant and would try and take them one by one as they had their father and aunt, she would be here to defend them, defend them from their grandfather's insanity and cruel influence.

pushitinHaven asked a question, and Soran's stomach fell, she wondered what he had meant by this, why had Conri left? Or did he mean why did everyone need a father, she didn't really like the prospect of a biology lecture right now, no, that was Naniko's job, her burden, Soran had had to give "the talk" before and she didn't want to again, not to her grandson, especially whilst he was so young. The obsidian lady wracked her brains, trying to think of how to explain fathers without going into too much detail, she didn'y particularly fancy explaining "the birds and bees" to the young pup. She sighed, thinking of how to word what she was going to say, her brow furrowed slightly, she couldn't tell him the whole truth about any of it, he was too young to hear her about his father raping his mother, it would most likely scar him, and worse it would turn the small boy against his father before he had even had a chance to meet him and make his own decisions about the red male who had fathered him.
"Everyone has a father, it's just one of things sweetheart. I'm sorry that yours has not been around for you, he was... well he was ill... he became very ill and he had to go away for a while, he may come back one day, but he wont be allowed to walk around in these lands, when he was ill he upset a lot of people you see... he didn't mean to, but he did. I hope he gets better so that he can meet you one day.” Soran replied, trying to be as diplomatic as possible, being honest to some degree, and letting the red boy know that his father would not be allowed to come into these lands to be with him, there was no point in building up the boy's hopes of having a father in his life, just to be disappointed when he discovered that his father was not allowed to set a foot in the lands.
"Would you like to know anything about him Haven? Or me for that matter?" Soran asked, raising her head slightly, tilting it to one side to study the small boy, wondering what reaction she would get if she were to kiss him on the forehead like she had used to do with Conri.

No worries! I hope you're feeling better now!

Once again it seemed to be taking his grandmother a long time to come up with a satisfactory answer to his question. This was getting frustrating! Why was this so hard to explain? As he waited for her to speak, he let out a huff, almost wishing this subject hadn't been brought up at all. It didn't really matter to him that his father wasn't around. He had two loving, great mothers and that was good enough for him. If this father guy didn't want to be around, then he could just stay not around. When the explanation was finally given, it really didn't explain much. Why was he sick? What did he do to make other wolves mad at him? From the sounds of it this guy hadn't been very good. Haven found himself almost hoping that he didn't come back and he never met him. Though there was still a spark of curiosity about the matter. It would keep burning in his mind, but it wouldn't be brought up until another day.

"Nos, I dun tinks I want to knows anymores about hims right nows." There was a bit of an indignant tone to his voice. It wasn't that he thought she was lying to him, but it did seem like she was omitting a lot of stuff. Adults did that a lot it seemed. He didn't understand why. He was always honest about everything. He didn't feel the need to hide anything. "Bu' we can talks about yous. Like where has you been? An' does my mommys have mommys too?" Obviously he knew that his mothers had mothers, but he hadn't met them.

I am so sorry for the wait on this, it's been a life filled with exams and crappy internet I'm afraid Sad

pushitinSoran sat up, stretching out her front legs before sitting comfortably before her grandson, she was pleased to see that he was full of questions, it was the best way to be in her view, being hungry for knowledge, wanting to know how the world worked and why it did, it was wonderful to see him like this. But the boy spoke again, he didn't want to know anymore about Conri, that was perfectly fair, afterall his father had never been around for him, he had never been a father to the small red boy, why should he want to know about a total stranger? The obsidian smiled when he said that he wanted to know about her, about where she had been, she was glad that he wanted to know about her life. She wanted a connection with her grandson, afterall she had never really had a relationship with her sons and daughter, she wanted to have someone in her family who knew a lot about her, who wanted to know about her, despite all of her coming and going and seeming lack of interest in her younger children, she was still a mother and grandmother, she still loved all of her family and wanted to be a part of their lives.
pushitinBut that posed further thought in the ebony lady's mind, where had she been? Wandering lost and alone in the old Bleeding Soul's lands, walking aimlessly day after day, missing what she had left behind, feeling sorry for herself, in a stupor. And before that she had left looking for her younger litter, and had returned with a new dead mate under her belt and with a heavier sense of loss than ever before. I would be hard to explain, but much less complicated than explaining Conri's disappearence to him, after all the parts of her own story that she would have to omit, the death of Haven's uncle by her own hands for example, were known by no-one but her, there were no ties with other wolves to reveal the green eyed lady's darker side, her past, so filled with cruelty and heartache.
"Where have I been? Well before I even knew that your mummy Naniko was going to have you I left these lands looking for your Uncle and Aunt. See your dad has two younger siblings, their names are Khaden and Dhalia, they left the lands when they were both quite small, I think they were looking for me at the same time I was looking for them. But yes that is where I had been, I had left to go to where we used to live, myself, your mummy Naniko and Conri... Your father. We all used to live in a place called Syemv which is not too far away from this place, though it is a few days walk I will admit, I went there looking for Khaden and Dhalia, because I thought that perhaps they had gone back there, but they hadn't. I hope to find them so that you can meet them, well Khaden at least, Dhalia's... well she's not very nice. I think you'd like Khaden, he looks very much like Salem and me, he's very kind as well.” Soran replied, quickly wafting over the subject of where she had been, preferring to tell Haven of his father's family, and of their history, she wished beyond anything else that the old 'Souls lands were not the fire-ravaged blackened husks that they were today, she would have loved to show the red boy, and her other grandchildren where she had lived for so long, where their mother and father were born.
pushitinSoran smiled as she mused over the boy's other question, though she had no idea how to answer it, when she had met Nani she had been living with an adoptive mother, a fall having erased all memory of her real mother, though the name D'Angelo suggested that she was of the large clan that had once dominated the Chimera pack, though she had no idea where she would place her within that family, she had never met all of them to guess whose pup she might be. And as for Anu, Soran had no idea, she did not know the girl and hadn't had a chance to ask her about her family. The obsidian lady's ear twitched slightly as she thought, she closed her eyes briefly and when she re-opened them she was looking down into her grandson's own green eyes.
"Oh yes, Naniko has a mother, though I have never met her, I think she was a wolf in a land called Chimera. Though as far as I know your mummy did not live with her, instead she lived with another lady wolf who looked after her. As for Anu I cannot say that I know if she does or not, you'd have to ask her my dearest. I suppose she must have though, we all have mothers you know, even if we don't know them, like me, my mother died when I was very small, I don't remember her at all. But I know I had one, and I have heard lots of stories about her. She replied, hoping that her answers were satisfactory to her curious little grandson.
