Even though she had gotten attack by the shadow monster when she was out of the pack land and yes one of her pack had to save her form this monster, but if she was going to live in these lands and if they were going to make her live with some kind of family member then she was going to have every right to go out and explore these blasted lands.

Looking all around, the female youth snorted as she skipped over the border lands of the pack of her home, as she moved further and further away. The snorting slowly stopped as she saw that no one was around, which is what she wanted. She loved the freedom she loved having to be charge of her own choices. The girl passed though lands, slowly. Her stomach was howling by the time she made in deep into the ethereal eclipse, she stopped looking around with a grunt and gave a whimper, then a yelp. Again she looked around no one, she stomped her font paw as she moved on eating some yellow flowers, she chewed twisting her face up swallowing the flower, and sticking out her tough she shook her head. “PFUI!” She shook her head sticking out her tongue while gagging. Shivering she re-composed her-self, and moved though the lands. The child snorted again as she put on a sad face as the smell of other wolves hit her like a brick wall, she sat down and yipped. It was hyper and high pitched maybe hiding that she wasn’t up to any good.

The forest made for an excellent cover in the bright sun. The giant halfling form moving quietly over stones and sticks sniffing the air for the deer he had been tracking for some time. Jazper had spent the early morning watching a herd of white tailed deer in the valley behind Haven Mansion. It was too bad that these animals were meant to eat, not simply watch. With another sniff of the ground his bear like body moved forward once more. While watching the deer the Knight had taken note of a rather slow buck that was obviously suffering from a leg injury. The poor guy probably had just fallen but never the less as a wolf this was the ideal time to take the life of the suffering to feed those in need, the new mouths of Savina's three gorgeous children.

Finally, warm golden eyes stared out threw the bush into the valley. Alone he could only hope to take down the buck in pain, the slowest. He remembered his parents rules: Go for the strongest thing you know you can take down. A weak sick child was of no use to the pack but a buck was a a buck, bad leg or not. His lips pulled back with a howl as announced his presence. With a smirk he watched from within the trees as the group started to run in the opposite direction, the buck staggering and falling behind. To say it was easy to kill the suffering creature was an understatement. With a few powerful leaps forward and a jump the deer fell to the ground with a final cry before a twist of the neck ended all life left.

With a sigh he started to shift, legs and arms extended and his paws became hand and feet. The large scruff of midnight fur around his neck shrank into short sleek hairs and his shoulders broadened to become more human like. Grabbing his kill the friendly giant of over eight feet turned to head home before a sharp pups call turned him toward the boarder. After a few minutes of leisurely walking the large coal male stared down at a female pup, “What can I do for you little lady?”

There really had never been a time in her life where she was unsure of her next steps, she was always planning and plotting. Though now standing in front of her was a wolf that stood upon his hide legs, and moved freely. The child scowled, looking at him, as she back up throwing her front paws in the air trying to stand up on her back paws like him. It wasn’t working out of her, but she was going to figure this out, she had never seen anyone stand up on their hide legs without falling down. She lowered her body to the ground as she walked over to him, sniffing the ground that he was standing on; maybe there was something special about the ground that the black male was standing upon. She couldn’t smell anything that was special about that part of the land. “Wie machst du das?”

She twisted her head to the side, lost as to how he was standing there, maybe if she made cute with him, he would teach her how to stand on her back legs. She studied the body of the male as she shifted her weight trying to shift her arms out a bit like his was. “You do?” Her eye opened in utter horror she was starting to talk like them, this isn’t what she wanted to do.

The pup before him wasn't one he had seen before. Her brown coat did not belong in Crimson Dreams territory. Yet, he was intrigued by the stranger. Her language was unique, her parents obviously never spoke english to her. His large head tilted slightly as she scowled up at him, “Did I do something wrong?” he asked with a curious smile. Suddenly he backed up finding himself to be very confused. Was the young girl trying to stand up? Golden eyes grew large in surprise and he watched and burst out laughing in amusement. Never before had a pup try to imitate him. As she fell back to the ground he watched her now fully amused by this newcomer. “I'm afraid I don't understand you..” he trailed off with a frown. “Do you speak en-gl-ish” Pronouncing the word very clearly the warrior hoped the pup might understand. It was a far fetched hope but you never know.

Jazper longed for a family of his own and this pup was just another reminder of his dreams. When he was a pup he had his parents to look after him but since their death he had been tossed from parent to parent. He wanted to have pups of his own to teach and care like he should have been cared for when he was growing up. Never again would a youngster go unloved while in his presence. A small smile spread across his lips as the girl asked him the question once more in a language he understood. “Oh, Standing?” He asked more out loud to himself then anything. Taking hold of the pups from paws he helped her stand up on her hind legs. “Now everyone can do it.” The explanation seemed clear to him but looking at the female he shook his head and spoke in words she might understand “Very hard.”

The child’s tail shook side to side as the black male picked up her front two paws and held them as she stood there, but maybe it was like how she had to learn to walk as a pup, her mother helped her learn. She was a little unsteady at first but she quickly picked up upon it, like each of her litter mates did. She smiled up to the male, he was…well he made her little heart skip a beat, he was so kind. She smiled as she shook her head, she didn’t speak English that well but for him, well she would try. She tried to think of how to say thanks in English but never the less words didn’t come to her, she stuttered She gave a quick nod, trying to thank him. As she opened her mouth”Ava know little. Name, Avarice. Call Ava.” It was butchered, just like every other time that she spoke it. Though she was going to try to use it, for him. He was unlike the other adults back in the pack lands. He spelt different and nice. ”Ava mom did! Why Ava not able to?” She was doing it with his help but she wanted to be able to walk and move about freely like he was able to. A life upon all fours was not a very fun like that she was willing to live what so ever. ”You name?”
