Ehno, :]

Would he forever carry himself this way? His shoulders rolled forward, head parallel with the ground and purpose and annoyance set deep in his brow. The male moved with ease through the familiar territory. His memory was sharp, and knowledge of terrain keen. He could picture each hill and valley, each fallen tree, each streaming crick. The path was not one that was worn by frequent use, but he had been here before. The weather was similar to his last visit; rain fresh in the ground and clouds looming heavily above his head. He walked in his halfling form, infrequently used but useful nonetheless. And the seemingly largest of his form Heath looked just slightly larger then a normal wolf.

The rain still fell, soaking his shoulders and back. The scent of the pack boarder filtered from the ground up, and Heath passed over it with ease and no hesitation. He came with a purpose, though it was not a solid and meaningful idea. He wanted to see Haven, the young male that he hadn’t spoken too for some time. Heath knew he resided here, or at least thought it. His first attempt to him in had lead to a quick fight with a pathetic male, the thought of it brought a smirk to his face. His pace quickened. The male almost hoped to find him again, see if his cut had healed and if he learned anything new. The tawny male scoffed at the idea. Bitches like him never learned, no matter how hard Heath tried to beat the lesson into them.

Thank you for starting this! :] 300+

He searched and searched and searched. Every room in the mansion, each of the linked caves, every inch of the pack lands was empty. He didn’t want to give up his search, because that would be admitting that it was true. But her already faded scent was more than enough evidence to point out that she was gone. Ghita was gone. It had been weeks now since her initial disappearance, and yet the chocolate-hued male still felt the need to keep an extra watchful eye out when he inspected the borders, just in case. He knew that by now his extra searching was just a lost cause, but he had to hold onto hope, lest he let his worries get the best of him.

It was cold, overcast, and rainy; all in all a fairly typical day in this region for this time of year. Usually on days such as this, Ehno would cut his patrolling to a quick search, preferring to stay inside and busy himself with his woodworking if the rain continued for long. Today though, the Italian man had lingered at the borders where his sibling had disappeared. Just as each time before, he wanted to go out and find her, but he knew the too-faded scent would only lead him nowhere. He shook his head and continued on his way, finally admitting to himself that if Ghita wanted to be found, she wouldn’t have left them without as much as a goodbye.

On his way back home he noticed it, an out of place scent cutting straight through the borders and into the pack lands. Judging from the direct and unwavering path this individual took, there was no hesitation, not even a slight pause to glance around the obviously claimed lands. Immediately Ehno set about following the stranger’s path, thinking that whoever this was intruding on Crimson Dreams territory better have a damn good reason for being here. Ehno wasn’t about to let some strange wolf strut around the pack lands, especially while there were puppies about.

With his quick pace, it didn’t take him long to spot the intruder--a male patterned with a timber wolf’s mix of various browns and grays. “Hey!” he called out to the stranger, not slowing his pace until he caught up with the male. “What business have you got here?” He eyed the intruder critically, taking in his distinct markings as well as the odd proportions that were typical of one’s halfling form.

forgive the length <3

He moved easily, though heavily. His paws were large and unlike the thin stick legs that he was used to. There was no flight in his step, but he moved with a haste that made him look quick. The orange male’s scent did not linger in this direction, and Heath remembered that a small valley to his right would lead him towards the lake and a large house. He had never been within the walls, but seen it from a distance. It was then that a voice charged to his ears, and made him turn her head around with a sharp meaningful motion. Gold eyes looked through the hazy rain, finding a wolf approaching without hesitation. Heath frowned, it was not the white pansy from his last visit. Heath should have known he would not be so lucky, and from the accented voice it was obvious. This male was larger then the first, but still Heath did not hesitate as he answered with a question of his own. Eyes narrow and brow creased with a new and sudden agitation.

Who's askin?

It's all good! And my replies should be much timelier now that my 'net connection is done being wonky!

Ehno found himself suppressing a growl at this young wolf’s arrogance. Even through the thickening veil of the rain, he could see that this intruder didn’t show any signs of guilt or remorse at being caught trespassing. In fact, there was a clear look of agitation on his features, as if Ehno’s sudden appearance was bothersome and unwarranted. The Marino male took another step closer to the stranger, staring into his golden gaze unwaveringly. He had little tolerance for such displays of disrespect in his own home.

The intruder shot a question right back at him, words laced with the same agitation in his features. That pushed Ehno’s temper another step closer to the edge. His lips pulled back in a snarl, revealing the sharp ivory teeth in a display that told the stranger that that was the wrong answer. The growl still threatened to spill from his throat, a rumbling fire building within his chest, but he kept it at bay for the moment. “A member of this pack,” he said, his words containing a hard edge that was usually absent. “And while you’re on our lands, you’d do well to listen.” There was a slight pause in which the Sergeant remained still, amber gaze still locked on the stranger. “I’ll ask you once more: What are you doing in Crimson Dreams?”He was in no mood for these games, and his patience was running thin. This intruder thought he could just waltz in and do what he wanted, no questions asked? Though with his behaviour thus far, Ehno had a feeling this encounter wasn't going to end on a friendly note.

Heath thought of something humorous, it even teased the corners of his mouth but he fought back the smile. Why did it seem like the males of this pack were all so stuck up, not Heath found them something else, frustrated. Like there was something building, and no release possible. Heath could have laughed out loud by the thought. A pack run by females, followed by males. And all the boys walked around with the worst of attitudes. Along with the smile and laughter he kept a question back as well. They ain’y giving it up, huh?

Yeah, yeah. Heath nodded at the other’s answer, of course he belonged to the pack. He was angry, frustrated and no doubt cock blocked. Heath could only shrug, listen? Listen to someone who followed a few smart assed women like neutered dogs? The lone rouge had taught the pansy how to stand up for himself, and he wasn’t sure if he would have to do the same for this puppy. Dude, what does it look like? He let his voice show the complete tire and annoyance. Why did everyone ask im that shit?

Had this lovely little encounter occurred on any other day, had Ehno’s thoughts not been so heavy with the disappearance of his sibling, perhaps he wouldn’t have been so blunt with his initial questioning of the stranger. The Italian wolf would have been a little more open, a bit friendlier like his usual self, albeit still very suspicious of the direct and determined intrusion. It didn’t seem like it would have made much of a difference, though; the boy looked like he would have responded just as disrespectfully no matter how he may have approached him. The arrogant nod and shrug the trespasser offered confirmed that fact, the simple act enough to cause the Sergeant to let loose the growl that had been building in his chest.

He snorted in disbelief at the stranger’s next spoken response, a terse and agitated laugh. He had been expecting an insolent response like this, but it still served to fuel his building rage. What did it look like? Let’s see, he was definitely trespassing, showing blatant disrespect on the borders of claimed territory, pissing off the Sergeant… the list could go on. Ehno moved to step in front of the intruding male, disrupting his path leading deeper into the territory. His amber gaze remained steadily on the boy as he moved, the snarl still menacingly sitting on his features. “Looks like you’re about to get your ass out of here. Think you will need an escort?” he shot back, Italian accent coming out thick in his agitation. Whether this hybrid boy decided to take the easy or the hard road out was up to him.

man tears!!!
edited for shit typing!

The boy’s leash was on too tight, cutting his blood supply to very important parts of his body. Yeah, protecting the pack was one thing, what who was Heath? He was a lonely hybrid that needed a home and a friend. Each time the scrappy pups of this territory had fought him when he wanted to only take a sniff around. The deep growl was met with a close mouthed smile, Heath wondered if the other male knew what was coming. He wondered if his fought often, or if the queen always kept his leach this tight. The hair on along his back rose, warning him not to take another step and his chest bellowed with a low rumble. He wasn’t leaving, not without that escort. But Heath still wanted a little more then that. I didn’t think you would offer. Though Heath wanted to tell him to stop looking as his ass. He didn’t need anyone watching it.

The male was too close, at least for his comfort. But heath wanted this. He wanted to feel the other teeth against his skin, wanted that pain. He needed to feel alive when all the other emotions just made him like the walking dead. And in and instead and with no other warning then the bristled fur and the deep growl Heath moved towards the male. His voice spoke viciously and without words. Though it was easy to understand that he meant. Ears lay against his head and teeth shone bright against his black lips and the gloom of the day. A long clawed paw moved over the male’s neck, and teeth moving for his face. If the pup wanted to escort him out, he better do it now. Before Heath taught him how pleasant pain could be.

Yay man tears! Forgive any oddness in my posts from here on out; my fight thread skills are ruuuuusty. xD 300+

He didn’t know what this kid’s problem was, why he felt the need to be so obnoxious or to trespass upon claimed lands as if it were his right. People like this really ticked Ehno off. Their personalities clashed instantly with the Italian man’s kind and open personality, nearly always causing their encounters to erupt into harsh verbal arguments. Ehno only had so much patience and people like this hybrid always seemed to steal it away the instant the first biting remark was thrown. The Sergeant wasn’t new to this game of petty arguments and insults, but true physical confrontations were a sport he rarely participated in.

The trespasser’s growl clearly illustrated that such were his intentions, like a long, drawn out boom of a war drum signaling battle. Ehno matched this with his own threatening growl, lips still pulled back in that snarl, hackles rising in agitation. His amber gaze studied the hybrid boy intently. The Marino may not have been fond of fighting, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t handle himself should he find himself in a scuffle. His instincts were strong enough and body fit enough to allow him to handle himself well in a minor tussle—he hoped that was all this would become.

But there was no time left to contemplate this; the younger male moved forward, claws outstretched and fangs ready to strike. The Sergeant was expecting the stranger to make the first move, the growl and harsh look in his eyes signaling that he couldn’t wait to get started. The chocolate-hued male strafed to the left, intent on dodging the fangs primarily. He caught the end of his opponent’s swipe on the side of his face, a glancing blow. Ehno pushed off from the ground in a rebound from his sudden dodge, claws aiming at the arrogant face, jaws snapping in hopes of catching his moving opponent somewhere on his side. Belatedly, a voice somewhere in his head laughed darkly; it looked like the kid chose the hard way out.

Heath had too many problems. Problems that he wanted to ignore, issues that he thrived on when in situations such as this, and even troubles that he didn’t have the power to recognize. He thought of everything he had been through. The battle against loneliness, and fight between his father and brother both came to mind. The death of his mother was something that was too strong for such a scuffle, and his thoughts only hinted around the fringes of the vision. It boiled in his chest, and as he felt the contact of their bodies, and the claws the touched the side of his face, though not razor sharp, raked at the skin beneath his fur. The pain shot through his cheek, and the male absorbed it and basked in it. Heath took the hit, not thinking much about defense as he did offense, at least not for this fight.

His back legs worked quickly, moving sideways and holding his upper body skyward and propelling himself at the male once again. This time the rogue aimed for the male’s shoulder. It wasn’t necessary for him to bloody the other’s face; he would be the one to hold those scrapes and weeping wounds. Left paw went again to the face, quickly but with less pressure then his right. Black gloved paw ran its ink dipped talons into the males side, and as gold eyes watched the deadly teeth the other claimed his let the paw grapple at the shoulder blade. Heath wanted flesh, an anchor that locked them together and drain the blood from the pups body. Well, maybe just a little.

Adrenaline pushed him forward, serving to further fuel his rage as each second ticked by. It was a feeling he seldom experienced, though it was more familiar to him than this dance of war. The Marino hadn’t felt this much anger boiling within him since he last thought of Serge, the disgraceful wolf he would never call Father. Part of him embraced the rage and this scuffle, and it wanted to grin as Ehno’s claws made a quick connection to the trespasser’s face. The Sergeant ignored it though, instead choosing to focus his rage toward his opponent’s retaliation.

For one foolish moment, his eyes only regarded his opponent’s claws coming straight for his face. The Sergeant began to dodge to the right in an attempt to avoid the rake of those claws, realizing a moment too late that it left his shoulder wide open. The gravity of this mistake only hit him when he felt the cutting pressure of his opponent’s teeth into his shoulder. Ehno snarled, a noise of both surprise and pain. Mentally he reprimanded himself for his mistake, but he knew he couldn’t afford to let the boy keep his hold for long. He pushed forward, trying to knock the lanky brute off balance. At the same time he swiped at the enemy’s side with his right paw. It was mostly an attempt to distract the intruder, to give Ehno a chance to find an opening while his opponent’s attention was split. He wouldn’t be able to focus on striking back with the young hybrid latched onto his shoulder.

little intermission here, didn't think you would mind the slight pp :]

Pleasure and pain mixed. The latter was far more intense, but at the edges Heath could feel the pleasuring entity. It was hard to focus on it, but it was there and Heath pushed hard and further in hopes of increasing it. Maybe it was the taste of blood, or the endorphins that were released that drove him so crazy. Whatever it might be, the rogue loner wanted more. The sweet metallic taste filled his mouth, and teeth bore deeper into the flesh. It was a soft warm place for his fangs, and he wanted them to stay, only leaving to bite again and again. It was short lived, though cherished, as the pack wolf barreled forward. His pure mass was what made Heath stumble backwards, jaws and claws unlatching their hold on his flesh. The force of his forepaw raked against his chest as he moved backwards. And then, Heath gave the male enough room to breathe. His chest heaved, gold eyes watching as his head lay level with the ground. Blood tricked from his face into his open mouth. He didn't notice, licking at his chops for a very different reason.

A single question ran through his mind, ticking away with the seconds that kept him planted before the pack wolf. They both bled. Though Heath was certain that the nameless pup was hurting far more and knew that there was a good chance that the landowner would taste the blood of none other than his own. Licking the wounds as he hobbled away, thinking of the tawny and black male that stood up to his defensive interrogation. The question rang again. They stared, each deadly in their own right. But Heath had no plans on dieing this day, and even though his body pleaded for more his mind spoke loud and clear. The question, had he had enough?

it's all good. :] 300+

As he thrust forward, Ehno growled at the sudden, though short-lived, increase in pressure from the male’s jaws. His shoulder stung bitterly, the feeling subsiding momentarily as the hybrid boy released his grip only to flare up worse at the feel of the open air. The rogue’s claws joined his teeth in the sudden retreat, and as both contender’s pulled apart their only connection was a quick flurry of limbs. Ehno steadied himself on the ground while the kid stepped back to create a short distance between the two of them. Amber eyes glared at the scene before him. The hybrid boy stood at the ready, tongue snaking out to wipe at the blood that coated his muzzle. The action only seemed to enrage the pack wolf further.

Now all that was left was the question of where the fight was going next. Ehno stared into the gold eyes of his opponent, a snarl still permanently plastered to his features. He tried to read the intentions in his opponent’s stance and sharp gold gaze. It was hard to get a clear reading of the intruder with his anger boiling within and the majority of his focus watching for the next attack, guided by instinct. But he didn’t need to study the scuffle’s other contender much at all to be able to guess that the kid was enjoying this. He doubted he was the sort to turn tail and run, especially when he thus far had the upper hand. Regardless, the Sergeant knew he would keep fighting as long as this hybrid intruder was on their lands.

With that in mind, Ehno chose to make the first move this time, stepping quickly to his right before pushing forward to his opponent. He ignored the stinging of his shoulder, fueled still by adrenaline and anger. His fangs went once more for the boy’s face while his right paw swung downward, claw’s looking to find purchase upon the back of the hybrid’s neck.

XD

He did not hate this form, but it was nothing like his two-legged body. He wanted his fists, the southpaw upper cut and then the hook. It was his favorite style of battle, and the large paws he possessed were made for such a dance. His light form was not made for this wrestle and fur flying fighting, though the halfling form helped his cause. It made him heavy, just enough to keep him centered on the ground and not flying through the air at the swipe of a pup’s paw.

His eyes and mind where clear as he watched the leashed pet. Waiting, eye intent on the muscles that would give way to the male’s answer to his question. A flinch, the soft rolling movement of his shoulders and the fur the lines his skin, all told Heat that the male was saying yes. YES. That was it. Heath grinned, his mouth then snapping with alligator jaws, speaking that he was ready. The body was moving forward, and light paws moved to his right to avoid the rows of pearly whites. The blunt heavy claws hit his neck, ripping at the fur and skin like a dull knife. It hurt, making him bleed from ragged shallow wounds. Teeth scraped along his muzzle, and he ripped his face away while letting his own teeth grace the maw of the biting jaws.

His mind was racing, trying to keep up with the actions instinct led him through. Ehno hated fighting, and his amateur strikes displayed this fact clearly. There was no way he was giving up, though. He couldn’t allow a dangerous hothead like this male to wander freely within Crimson Dreams. The only thoughts that seemed to surface in his mind now were to remove the intruder from their lands and to protect his family. These thoughts were what kept his head in the game and kept him fighting despite his distaste for this dance.

The boy stepped back, preventing Ehno’s fangs from striking as intended and instead he only grazed him slightly. But the chocolate hued male didn’t let this waver his resolve, as his claws still connected, tearing shallow wounds into his opponent’s neck. There was no time to celebrate the quick strike as the boy threw another attack at him. The Sergeant jerked his head to the side quickly to prevent the hybrid boy from seizing his maw completely, but not enough to avoid the pearly whites altogether. He felt the intruder strike the side of his muzzle, but he ignored it. While the teeth of his enemy were occupied, he could focus on making quick strikes now that they were in close quarters. He threw both his forepaws into the fray, focusing his weight onto his hindquarters. Ehno’s right swung once again for the brute’s neck while his farthest paw reached out toward the hybrid male’s own limbs.

runaway!!!!

Heath felt his mouth graze excitedly across the other’s. He gave the stranger a taste of his own blood, his lips bleeding steadily. It was then that his weight played an important factor. The thick legs of the pack wolf’s hind end propelled him forward, and with the force Heath was moved backwards. Quick paws kept him of the ground, though his light feet could not support the other’s heavier weight. Heath felt his knees weaken, and the claws to the male’s front paws dug deep while his teeth searched for his neck. Under him, the black-gloved boy could sneak his own attack against the soft fur and flesh oh his throat. But he barely caught his fur as he tried to move back and free himself from the weight.

A mighty snarl escaped his throat, feeling the claws drag against his form as he ripped himself from the other’s hold. They were both bloodied, battered and no doubt bruised beneath tattered coats. The pain fueled him, but the weakness he felt by the pack wolf’s advantages did not. Heath moved forward once, a snap of his jaws before turning to run. Yes, it was a defeat. Yes he wanted more and wanted to win. But there were times when you needed to take the loss without loosing too much. Heath didn’t look back to see if he was being chased, though his raised tail showed his continued defiance and might provoke him enough to follow. He was fast, even in his halfling form, and he let that pain push him further and faster.

Oh snap. o: End here? Unless you'd like to toss up one more post? 300+

The events of their scuffle seemed to fly by faster the longer it went on. The pair was a flurry of swiping claws and snapping jaws, each searching for a lethal strike or deadly hold to give them the advantage. Superficial blows were traded back and forth from blunt claws while the deadlier teeth of both contenders closed upon fur, rather than flesh. Ehno found his bulkier size to more to his advantage, causing the upstart youth to stagger back. He was still on his feet, but he could feel the intruder stagger under the combined force of his momentum and weight. The Sergeant made to push forward again, but it was a moment too late as the boy had already begun to pull back once more. Ehno may not have toppled him, but he felt a satisfaction as his claws left another mark upon his opponent. The rage-embracing side of him grinned as the boy snarled in anger and pain.

He wondered for a moment if this pause in their fighting would be like the previous one. But the trespasser was quick to make a threatening snap of his jaws, but he did leap into the offensive once more. Instead the coward turned and ran off. Ehno knew that it was better this way, but it still angered him that this boy had the nerve to come here and pick a fight, only to turn tail and run when things got tough. Ehno moved to follow the intruder, determined to make sure the hybrid boy left the lands. The sight of tail raised high in defiance only served to increase the Italian man’s determination. The lean stranger was fast though, keeping ahead of the chocolate-hued male. But the Sergeant would not give up his chase until he was certain the trespasser was gone.
