Wewt! Here we go! Let's pop 'em out! =DD Wc: 460+

Lately she had been privy to wandering on her own, slipping away at any and all hours of the day. Ghita never went too far however, not wanting to exert herself for the sake of the lives developing inside of her. It didn't seem quite real at times to the fae - a far more likely explanation would simply be her food intake. Dainty paws stepped carefully over the dusty ground, turquoises absently wavering over her surroundings, barely lit by the rising sun.

She had woken in Jazper's bed with horrible cramps, spasms running up and down her entire body, it seemed. Pure luck was the only player as Ghita managed to slip out of the manor, desperately hoping that the pains would ease as she moved. They did, to some extent, and the silver-tipped fae trotted farther and farther away, her ebony nose keen for a distraction born from adventure. Admittedly, there wasn't much new territory in her adopted home. In the first few weeks, it had seemed like she had explored it all, covered every trail. Apparently, this wasn't the case.

In hindsight, Ghita'd probably recognize that she was stupid to journey down into the newer territory. But the caves that she hadn't discovered previously called to her, louder and more furiously than normal, so she gave into temptation and plunged downhill. Careful, cautious, all too worried about the possibility of her tripping, the Italian sniffed around the caves, which yielded no secrets to her. It looked like a comfortable place, and she realized with a pang of regret that perhaps she could have spent many a roaming night here. It wasn't all too far from the manor, but just out of reach if she needed to be. Suddenly exhausted, she yielded to the ground and let the earth cradle her side as her world tumbled around her.

The only way to describe it would be that fire had caught inside of her and was spreading through her entire body. There was no time for fear in the the endless minutes of echoless silence that stretched before her, simple stars exploded before her eyes and her claws dug in. For a moment the storm broke, allowing a savage scream to tear from her lungs, a wordless plea for anything to rescue her from this pain. If there was no lack of lucidity, Ghita would have staked her life on the fact that something had gone terribly wrong inside of her. Having never gone through labor, the poor fae could only howl in pain, hoping there was some packmate nearby to hear her. Every so often her cries would be punctured by Italian curses, the possibility that she might have to go this alone only beginning to dawn on her.

ooc: Sinatras just gonna hear Jaz and come running even though he wasn't called. Cuz he's amazingly luvable like that Big Grin

WC: 500+

The gentle giant shifted in his sleep quite content to dream of his future family. The smile on Ghita's face warmed his very soul from his steady beating heart out. She was such an amazing person. He had never told her he loved her but after a couple months of being forced into their situation he would mumble it during good nights when she stayed with him. The had become accustomed to sleeping in his crimson room. After all, his bed was large enough for two wolves his size so her presence did nothing but calm him. She carried the air of confidence, everything about her left him a little more relaxed. He turned over and shuffled towards the half of the bed he knew would contain her warm fur. With a disappointed grumble he felt around, where was she? Opening a golden eye he half expected her to be looking out the window, something she seemed too be making a habit of the past few nights, along with many nightly trips to the kitchen.

With a sigh he shuffled the furs off of his naked body and stood up only to stretch, touch the roof and release a very large yawn in response to being awoken along with the sun. Normally he preferred to sleep in and stay out a little later than most of his pack mates, it was much easier to hunt in the shadows of the night. The knight started out of his room and down the stairs, his mates smell growing fresher. Scratching his head he sleepily entered the kitchen only to look around half in shock. Why wasn't she in the kitchen? With a sudden burst of energy he started sniffing the air only to be lead out the door. “Ghita...” He whimpered. He shifted down into his halfling form, finding the form rather more convenient for running and started into the forest. His heart started to beat with a new found worry, a pregnant wolf should not be alone this early in the morning.

The ebony male kept his nose to the ground as he moved in scampered movements following her trail. A horrible cry rang through the air and instantly his blood began to rush from his body, pumping his heart at a rapid speed and leaving his skin pale. It took only a split second for his claws to make contact with the ground and push forward with as much movement as he could exert, a loud howl calling the alphas to join him. His own alpha born blood began to boil with anger for whatever could have caused Ghita to be in such pain. Trees past his gaze at a new found speed as he followed his ears directly to the source, the caves. A growl rumbled in his throat as he entered the caves settling as he realized there was no other scent besides his own and his mates. His coal colored ears flattened as the timber wolf came view. The sight he found was all too familiar, being present for most of the packs birthings. “Ghita, Honey. I'm right here, Savina and Anu are on their way.” His voice was panicked, a new twist for the normally calm warrior. What was he suppose to do? He felt useless.

OOC: Puppies! :3 WC: 560+

The sunlight hitting his eyes was the main cause of the Dalmatian hybrid’s waking. Another? The pain of hunger. It had been a while since his cousin Jazper had found him on the beach, and he had slowly made his life here his new home. Of course, still being the shortest adult there was a pain in the tail, but he grew to live with it. Especially by gloating his was a few months older than the giant Jazper. Sighing dramatically, the male stood up from his mattress-on-the-floor bed and stood up, stretching his arms above his head and down to his toes. Sneaking as best as he could, he made his way down the flights of stairs to the kitchen, where he started to look through for any leftover meat.

His tail wagged behind him as he raided through the storage for the meat, not bothering to pay attention to the few other pack mates that came and went. He couldn’t find anything he liked until he searched further back. "Finally!" he exclaimed, holding a strip of meat close to his muzzle. "Some rabbit!" Giggling, he nibbled on it and tried his best to put everything back the way it came. He wasn’t sure if he was allowed to be doing what he did, but he didn’t care right now. He was hungry, and nobody had really told him much rules. Mostly to keep his gun hidden.

He turned around just in time to see none other than Jazper to leave in a hurray, and he could just catch him talking to himself about Ghita. "Wait… did say that she was going to give birth soon…" He gasped and finished the meat as fast as he could and shifted to his Secui form, only at two and a half feet tall yet still fast. He ran as quickly as he could after his cousin. Sinatra wasn’t sure wether or not Jazper knew what to do, or how to help. Before she died, his mother had taught him about these kinds of things, expecting him to get a female mate of his own and have his own pups. The hybrid scoffed, smirking as best as he could in this form.

The scent trail of both Jazper and Ghita led him to some caves in their territory. Shifting quickly to his Optime form, he gasped and wheezed, not having to run that fast in a long time. "J-Jazper, Ghita!" He panted as he ran into the caves and finally reached the pair. Oh geez, he thought to himself wide-eyed. He scurried to Jazper and placed a paw on the black shoulder. "Jazper," he started, staring at Ghita for a moment. "I know this may be tough, but you need to stay calm. She’ll be fine as long as you don’t heckle or pressure her…" Oh gods, I have no idea what I’m saying! He whimpered and quickly ran out of the cave, heading to some trees. Big leaves, big leaves… Finally coming across the right tree, he plucked the large leaves off of a branch and ran as fast as he could back, bending over and out of breath. "H-here," He placed the leaves under Ghita, avoiding her gaze and focusing on his task of covering the floor around her, moving any rocks or other obstructions out of the way.

YAAAAAAY! Big Grin 500+

Worry drew the ebony femme's face. The time for her sister to give birth was closing in and it made her sick with worry. So far everything had gone fine, nothing to be concerned over, thank the gods. That hardly mattered though, until the pups were born and alive and well Savina would worry endlessly. She didn't want Ghita to have to endure such a loss again, nor Jazper either. The concern had filled her with nervous energy and so she went out and patrolled and remarked the borders, something she hadn't done in quite some time. Her form was leaner than usual for she still had not been eating all that well. Really only enough as was necessary to sustain her from day to day. A voice at the back of her head nagged for her to take better care of herself, but she couldn't find the will. There were still so many other things to worry about, outside of herself.

At the easternmost border near the manor the Commander paused and sat down, her eyes staring out away from her home. Ehno had yet to return. She supposed the good in that must mean that his children were well, and for that she was thankful. Yet still she did not know what his decision would be. She couldn't help but wonder if he wouldn't even come back to say that he was leaving. The woman did not want to imagine he could be as cruel as that, surely not her dear brother. Sadly, if that did happen, it would only add to the list of harm and disappointment. He didn't even know Ghita was pregnant. If he did he would have come back to check in on her. Savina sighed heavily. Perhaps she should have mustered the strength to go and pass on word to him about Ghita's condition. She couldn't bare to go there though. Ghita needed her here more than away. Her sister needed her more than her brother now.

Suddenly a howl split the air, calling for herself and Anu. It was Jazper and there was a fear in his voice. Heart seized inside of her chest and she lost her breath. Ghita! Immediately she was on her feet and running as fast as her lithe legs would carry her towards the call. All the way she prayed that things would be alright. That her sister would be alright, that the pups would be alright, that nothing had or would go wrong. She prayed for those things with all her heart and soul as her feet flew to take her to her sibling's side.

Quickly she came to the caves and spotted Jazper's large form and the spotted form of his cousin. Savina ran forward, sticking her head into the cave, emerald eyes searching for any signs of danger. It seemed everything was going as well as could be expected thus far. "Il Ghita, è giusto, sono qui. Provare di stare la calma. So che esso duole. Quando lei ha la spinta di contrazioni dura come lei può. Ho ragione qui e non parto." Her words were hurried as she crouched next to her sister protectively, cooing softly and licking her head to try and help soothe her.

There was a frost that lay thinly against the grass early that morning, the smallest sign that winter was so very close. If she had been from any other lands Anu would yearn for the warmer touches of the south. But this was all she knew, and what came to mind was the plant life that had yet perished to the chill of autumn. She walked slowly, and had been since before the Sun’s awakening. The thin and fragile woman sought out the northern lands, for solitude and moments to think. The world was far from calm, in further places as well as with in the Lt. General.

The world caught up with her, a call drawn her ears to the sky and after figuring the direction the swift woman moved towards a place in the Dreaming lands she did not frequent. It was Jazper that sung to them, the running wolfess realized, and there was only one thing that would provoke the father-to-be these days. Scent told her where to go, and who was leading her there. Their Commander, her sister, Jazper of course and a male that she did not know had gathered, and Anu approached with an uneasy silence.

Blue eyes looked at the large black wolf, and then down towards his mate. Savina crept close to the birthing dam, weary and nervous. The tension was thick, and Anu only knelt beside the two black wolves in a supportive silence. A hand rest on the male’s shoulder, there if anyone needed her.

I wasn't sure just how far along I should have done it, so I just spat out one pup. x3 Wc: 600+

The silver-tipped fae, after she had released her howl of pain, found herself slipping in between consciousness and unconsciousness. The pain lit in her womb was taking over, sending beads of sweat to prickle just under her pelt. From some small corner of her mind came demands, sprung from instinct, that told her that thrashing would be a very bad idea both for the pups and her, as it would only add to her pain. Stretching out as much as she could, Ghita's large turquoises were squeezed shut, whimpers coming in a constant stream from her chest, rapidly rising and falling.

She only barely became aware of pawsteps near her, and Jazper's scent washing over her. The words, she could hear, but meaning was beyond her, save for the name of her sister. Relief pricked her, a small gasp acknowledging her mate's presence. "Jaz?" Forgetting for the time that Italian was beyond him for the most part, she gasped out a couple of curses in that language. (Although he probably would've gotten the gist of it, given both her tone and the situation.

It hurt almost as much as losing her pups had. Sure, the emotional scars had lasted longer, and had taken an overall longer toll, but losing the pups had been so physically painful that the feelings she had now were mixing with the past as well. Lost in a place where she was barely aware of thought, simply pain, she found herself lying firmly on her side, panicked optics sighting the ebony mate. A newer scent washed over her, and she didn't immediately recognize who it was until sound reached her ears.

The words the young male spoke weren't towards her, but reassured her all the same. At the very least, there was someone else to keep the panic down. At least, that's what she hoped. After a moment or two, what Sinatra had said hit her finally, causing her to exhale harshly. I don't think Jazper pressuring me is the worst thing at the moment! She felt like screeching, a pained grimace displayed in full force. Her long pink tongue lolled out, panting now with the sheer effort of staying conscious.

Her sister's voice washed over her, Ghita sparing no moment for courtesies as foliage was pressed under her. In an explosion of Italian, Ghita ranted her pain to all around, but mostly to who could understand it. "Dagli Dei, Savina! Quale forma di punizione è questo? 'Male?' 'MALE'?! Questo è un eufemismo cazzo enorme, se non c'è mai stato il significato della parola! Questo è peggio di prima, ci deve essere qualcosa di sbagliato! E dagli Dei, quali sono aggeggi?!" Her tone was one of hysteria; having never been through labor before, she had no idea that what she was feeling, although painful, was completely normal for a female.

Just then, a shuddering gasp left Ghita's chest, her world lit on hellfire as the contraptions came. Barely hearing those around her, she only responded in a way that instinct said would relieve the pain, and that was to push. It moved microscopically, relief inching along, but the burns had to get worse before they got better. First a wet, bloody head extended out, slimy and coated in a protective sac. Small eternities passed before her before the entire pup was pushed out, silent and not yet breathing. The mother to one of two pups made to extend towards her son, trying to grab him before she knew what to do with it, before another contraption rocked her back, leaving the newborn for another of the assembled group.

OOC:Ooc: Sorry for crappiness... WC: 300+

The poor hybrid was clueless now. Sure, he’d helped at the least by putting some leaves underneath Ghita, but now he had no use. He stood with his eyes to the ground and his paws held behind his back. What can I do…? he thought to himself, flattening his ears as Ghita’s yelling echoed off the walls. I mean… I only know Jazzy. Ghita and Anu don’t even know who I am… He tried not to sigh, but he eventually did. Sinatra only hoped nobody got mad at him for sighing in a situation like this. Soon though, Ghita’s screams got louder, and when he looked down the Dalmatian hybrid nearly threw up.

Oh Gods! This is why I’m not the biggest fan of females! He hid his face away in a paw and hummed a song to himself to get through the screams. When he heard Jazzy spoke though, he looked back down. "Awww!" Blushing slightly, he smiled cutely at the slimy, nearly naked and blink pup. Instinct took over as he saw that the mother was too busy with the other pup, so Sinatra bent down and gently took the pup in his paws. I think my mom told me what to do… Shuddering slightly, he started to tongue bath the pup, wrinkling his nose and clenching his eyes at the horrid taste.

Once the black and white pup was all clean, he handed it down to Jazper. "Here. Cuddle it close and make sure it stays warm. The little amount of fur means it’ll lose heat faster. Something you really don’t want!" He knelt closer to Ghita and took a gulp of air. "O-okay, Ghita. Sorry for the lame advice earlier, but I’m remember some things my mother told me. Anyway… You need to do several quick intakes of breath and a large exhale over and over." He turned back to Jazper and grinned shortly. "It's a boy, by the way."

Savina let her sister's angry words roll off her back, if that was the way that Ghita needed to deal with the pain then so be it. She knew how much it hurt, but somehow she had managed to take it in a quieter manner. Honestly at the time she didn't think she had had the energy to project her voice and rant as her sibling just had. When she spoke again her voice was still at the same soft and calm tone as it had been before. "Non c'è niente offendere Ghita, tutto succede mentre dovrebbe. Era doloroso per me anche, è per tutti, è appena la parte del processo. Ascoltare i suoi istinti e tutto sarà bello." Soon the pain would be forgotten. Once the pups were out and Ghita saw them everything else would melt away. Savina knew, because that was how it had been for her. Once you saw your children it didn't matter how hard or painful it had been to bring them into the world, because all you could think about was how lucky you were and how beautiful they were.

The process started in earnest as all Ghita could do was concentrate on what her body was making her do. Savina's heart thudded in her chest as she watched alternately between her sister's face and where the first pup would be expelled. She held her breath, still praying that all would be well, that this would be the happiest moment of her sister's life and not the worst. Then, a little body was seen and her heart jumped into her throat. Her sister had to return her focus to the labor that was not yet finished and she was ready to attend to the newborn when Sinatra beat her to it. The Commander couldn't help but look at the hybrid with a bit of a shocked expression. She had never heard of a male doing such a duty, especially a male that was not the father. A part of her was not really sure he should be doing it, but she stayed quiet, not wanting to start any arguments.

The pup was apparently alright though, and that was what really mattered. Still, not that she didn't trust Jazper, but the new pup needed to be against his mother, not held up in the air. "You should lay him next to Ghita, Jaz, he'll need to start nursing." She spared him a short smile before turning her attention back to her sister. "Lei fa grande Ghita," she said softly, licking the top of her head.

Anu pmed me and said to go ahead... so here I am! It'll be shorter, thanks to a sprained finger. -_- I have the worst luck. Wc: 480+

Through the pain and fear, the hybrid's voice broke through to her. Initially, her first reaction was to ignore him, since the last time he had spoken it was simply to stuff leaves under her (which made her a little more comfortable, sure, but was mostly useless). Now, however, he seemed worth listening to. She didn't even bother listening to her mate, sure that he didn't have much experience in this. And he was a pitiful man-thing when it came to pain, apparently.

Biting back a sarcastic question as to just how the male knew how to deal with a birthing fae, she turned a wide, dilated orb to the spotted hybrid. Answer given, she gave no indication of hearing him, other than her breathing changed drastically. A few in, a long one out... a few in, a long one out... committing the pattern to memory, Ghita closed her eyes, the silence broken by the announcement of her pup's gender. "A boy...?" English a stranger to her tongue, the words were hoarse from her screaming, but wanting confirmation all the same.

Savina's reassurance came just in time, and the dust-coloured fae heaved a sigh in between labor pains and frantic breathing. For a moment, it seemed to be as it should - those she loved most in her pack (and who were old enough to see it and not be scarred for life) were gathered around, cheering her on. Then again, she was going through some of the worst pain in her life, and bringing life to this world. In short, I guess you could say she deserved it.

Another spasm ran just on the heels of the other, and Ghita, throwing all that Sinatra had told her into her effort, pushed with all of her might. The second pup was actually a bit smaller that the first, so when the pressure was relieved, Ghita couldn't help looking startled. The pain was still there, but pressure was fading, and the new mother set eyes on her baby girl. "A girl..." Drawing the pup close to her, Ghita's tongue began to coat the pup with licks, seeing what Savina had done when she was giving birth, and what Sinatra had just done. "I think... it's done." She whispered faintly. When the girl was clean, she sort of held it in between her two forepaws, just staring at the tiny bundle of her child. To think that this had come from her.. and her brother....

Nosing in between her ebony mate's paws, looking for the larger of her pups, Ghita's eyes needed to see the pair of them, the set. The pair seemed to be healthy immediately, but she turned to her sister for guidance for the next step. "What now, Savina?" It seemed odd, but Ghita hadn't really thought about what happened after the birth. It was the biggest step to take, and now she felt lost, and confused.

OOC: One more post each Big Grin

WC: 500+

The sight was frankly slightly gross, and yet it was so beautiful. He stared at the bundle and then at his cousin, his heart skipping a beat and his breath catching as finally the child squeaked and began to wiggle. The next moment Sinatra had handed the ebony male the first pup. Staring in disbelief he couldn't even begin to think clearly. A son. He was a father and he had a beautiful boy in his arms. The tiny bundle showed the signs of taken after his father, black fur lining his back and legs, however the distinction of tiny white furs lined the bottom of his face and traveled down to his belly. “I-It's a boy Savy.” He stuttered in amazement as he looked to Savina with a large dumb grin only to notice her own dumbfounded look directed at Sinatra. He shook his head at her, this was not the time to be concerned with formalities. Jazper was useless at these things and he was more than grateful that Sinatra seemed to know what to do where he failed.

Her voice sent him scrambling internally once more, “Right. Nursing.” He had seen Naniko and Savina's pups nurse after their birthing, really this situation should not have been new to him after all he had attended a couple of birthings in his time and always he had promised the mothers protection of their pups. This time it was simply different, he couldn't just promise the mother simple protection, he had promised her that he would take care of her as well, that nothing would touch the pups when they where born, that she and their children would always have everything they needed. He was responsible for them. As the coal warrior was about to place his son down Ghita entered another spasm and he could only hold the boy close to his chest praying that the next body would be in good health as well. His worries didn't last quite as long this time as the second pup, rusty brown in color, was born into the pack. As Ghita announced that the pup was female his excitement grew even more. As his mate began to nose at him he quickly lay down on his stomach and placed his boy beside her and his daughter, directly between his mate and himself. “Aro Marino and Sophia Knight.” He announced looking to the Marino girls for their approval. Ghita and himself had spent many nights talking about names for the pups and these seemed to be the most appropriate for the two. Once more he looked down at the pups, Sophia was so much smaller than Aro. Silently he began to lick Ghita's head, she must be exhausted. ""Ti amo."

[ooc: Sorry for the super duper short post, but I'm really depressed right now, and school taking time up isn't making it any better. Sorry.]

"Err..." Sinatra looked around. One big happy family. And he was the newbie. What was he supposed to do? Just stand here while the family is all happy and such? He shook his head and moved to the mouth of the cave. The dalmatian hybrid felt a little left out. They all knew each other so well, and he was just... there. "Uhh..." He started to speak again before he shut his mouth. What was there to say after all? "I'll just... go..." He sighed a bit and walked out of the cave. He'd never sire a child, and he'd probably never find another male that would want to be with him. I am a freak after all... he thinks to himself sadly. Jazper would live happily ever after with his children, spending more time with them, and less with the lonely hybrid. "I grow up alone, and I'll die alone. Lovely life..." The hybrid was never usually like this, but the thought of being along made him think of what he didn't want to happen.

sorry for the hold-up guys D: 300+

Savina smiled up at Jazper as he looked at her with a large grin. "A strong boy, by the looks of it. No wonder, considering his father," she complimented. Already it was clear that the young pup would be taking after his father in the size department. No wonder it had been so painful for Ghita to birth him, none of her own children had been quite so large. Though as the contractions set back in with her sister her attention turned back to the laboring fey. Eyes sparkled with anticipation and she held her breath, hoping that the next pup would be just as healthy as the first. This time things came easier and there was a smaller body to care for. This time Ghita was able to clean the pup and Savina watched her sibling with a beaming smile, her tail brushing back and forth against the floor of the cave.

It appeared that all the pups were born now and the Commander couldn't be happier for Crimson Dreams' newest parents. She was almost startled when Ghita turned to her for more guidance. "Oh, well, put them up against your belly because they'll be hungry. It should all come with instinct, you're just worn out right now." Lovingly she nudged her sibling. "Lei sarà una grande madre," she whispered to her. The dark woman backed up a little to give the new family room to breath and to take in the sight of the four of them. It filled her with so much joy to see her sister finally have what had been taken from her so long ago. At the announcement of the names she nodded her head in approval. "Good strong names."

Sinatra headed out, seemingly in a gloomy mood and she couldn't for the life of her figure out why. There was only good things to be taken from such an event. Still, it was probably a good cue to take her leave as well. Jazper and Ghita would want some alone time. "I'll leave you two to recuperate. Call me if you need anything at all." With one last smile to the both of them she leisurely walked back towards the mansion.

The exhaustion was horrendous. She hadn't ever felt this tired before - not even after reaching Canada from Italy. Through the exhaustion, however, was a beacon of light, now divided into three bits, as it would be for the rest of her life. Looking up at her mate, she gave a small smile, letting the turquoises crinkle a little as she fought away the desperate need to leap for some unknown emotion running through her veins, something along the line of ecstasy for finally making it through, for delivering her litter. Her older, lost puppies would still continue to haunt her - a loss along those lines never really could be repaired, but for Ghita, now, she had bested her demons. There was a litter in front of her - all her own. "Savina, I made it." The statement was too important for Italian, as both dark wolves around her would know just what she was talking about.

Watching Sinatra leave her birthing den made her ears flop, disappointment flooding her. She barely knew this canine, so why was her heart so heavy? She knew it was Jazper's blood, so he must be related to her own pups now... that had to be why. Too busy with her own pups to pay much attention, however, she steered the pair of her newborn pups towards her abdomen, finally appreciating the use of those bumps down there.

Receiving her mate's affection, Ghita couldn't help but let a silent tear finally escape the edge of her optic. "Jazper... I love you too." Her whole head turned up towards him, wearing an unconcealed hurricane of emotion, of just and only love. This is our family now... and I can't think of another wolf I would rather be a part of a family with. She was a long way from the wild thing she was - leaping off of barns with her niece and running away from any and all affection. She was a mother now, and if it seemed frightening as she lay, pregnant, in her den, all those feelings disappeared. "I hope so, Savina, but I'll have a wonderful padre to help me."
