©table code and image to jacoby; 1132 words; You don't have to feel like you have to mirror I've just been scheduled for some 9 hours shifts at work so this is my way of making up for only having been able to do a single post a night and keeping you waiting.

Marik was glad to have his brother around. Glad to at least have someone that he knew. It made settling into Inferni easier. Especially since he didn’t need to claim a place to sleep. He just crashed in his brother’s bed. And it worked for them. Marik got a place to sleep and Cotl got to cuddle like he liked to do. And well it couldn’t be said that the slightly small boy didn’t fit perfectly well into his brother’s arms at night. But of course everything was platonic. Marik might not act and talk brotherly all of the time but he did respect his brother’s wishes. Cotl wasn’t into it and so he wasn’t going to push it. Though he couldn’t help to continue to hint at it. Just like Cotl couldn’t help yelling out strange and random things. And it was why he loved his brother. His brother understood and accepted that he couldn’t help what he did as much as Cotl couldn’t. But the slightly older hybrid knew that for all he said and did that he could be trusted. That he wouldn’t completely cross boundaries unless he was given permission to. And it really wasn’t that he was lusting after his brother, though he had no qualms with getting physical if Cotl ever wanted to, but he was like that with everyone. All of his friends back home could testify to it. He would flirt around with and tease everyone. He just saw everyone as being the same. Marik had no prejudices. He wouldn’t turn away anyone that could think to want him. But the coyote wasn’t after anything more than a physical relationship. Or perhaps a friendship along with it. Actually he considered a physical relationship a friendship. He would keep it up as long as the other still could want him. But he was nowhere close to being exclusive. It just wasn’t in him to be. He just wasn’t that one being for life sort of boy. Anyone that messed with him just had to understand that. And since he wasn’t faithful he didn’t expect others to be either. Why should they be limited if he wasn’t going to limit himself? It wouldn’t be fair and so Marik wasn’t going to enforce it. Though should he ever get to that point that he wanted to settle down then you could bet that he would be possessive. If he was going to restrict himself then whomever he was with would have to do the same. And he would see to it through any means necessary. Which was a good thing he wasn’t looking to settle anytime soon. Actually he couldn’t even imagine himself such a way. Just like he could never imagine Cotl living his lifestyle. Actually he couldn’t think of Cotl with anyone at all. His brother was such a prude. But that also made him loveable. At least towards Marik. And what was all that the hybrid was worried about. Why should he care how Cotl treated others? He was the one that was sharing his brother’s bed and not them.

He had gone into Halifax, spending the day away from his brother. He had no idea what Cotl had been up to. But it wasn’t like they could never spend time apart. Nope, time apart was a good thing. It allowed for Marik to meet new canines. For Marik to make friends. For Marik to find things to bring back for his brother. And that is just what he had spent time doing. He had gathered a storage box full of things. And this box he had the items in had a tail. He wasn’t sure why it did but it did. But why should it matter if it had a tail or not? It served the purpose of carrying back all of the things that he had gathered. Or well not all of them but a partial amount. At least now he knew that the next time he went into the city that he would need to take something with him so that he could carry back the things of interest that he had found. This take had found him returning with his storage box with a tail, a couple of blankets like Cotl had wanted, a couple of “bibles”, something called ramen, these really weird metal bits that he had gotten out of another storage box. A box he couldn’t get closed again after he had gotten it open. Oh, and a couple of knives. He figured those would do better for skinning then the sharp rock he had found. The rock was destroying the skins and he couldn’t have that. He wanted to use those skins for something special that he had in mind. So he had gotten the sharp objects just for that purpose. But he wasn’t about to give up his shell. That was still the best thing to use to clean the skins. At least it was the best that he had found so far. And why trade in something that worked so well? It would just be stupid to do something like that.

Marik made his way into the mansion with his goodies in his arms. The door to the house was nudged closed behind him as he made his way to the place. His steps took him directly towards the stairs. “Hey Cotl! I’m back! I found some really neat stuff!” He called out, not even considering the other residents in the place. Actually he hadn’t met in others in the large building if there was anyone else even here. Actually he didn’t know if his brother was even here at all. He hoped he was cause it would suck if he had been so excited to bring all the stuff all this way just to have to wait even longer to show his brother. But again he had no idea what his brother did while he was away. It wasn’t like he actually expect Cotl to wait around for him to get back. His brother had his own life to live. And the slightly older male had been living it alone while Marik had been making the trip to this place. To this country. So chances were that Cotl happened to be out with one of his friends. He didn’t need Marik to save him any longer. Not when he fitted in so well in this while Marik had to adjust to not being the one that his brother had to depend solely on. Adjust to not being the only one worthwhile in his brother’s life. So hoping that Cotl might be in Marik headed up the stairs and directed his steps down the hall and towards the room the he shared with his brother.

OOC: I seriously forgot I made this table. I posted it in Table testing and totally forgot about it. SSWM: 591

------------------------------------------------------------

Cotl Van Ulrich. Marik Burk Ulrich. Two beings, totally opposite to the naked eye, though once alone, the two got along incredibly well. Both were friendly once you got to know them, it was just that one seemed to have a sense of sexual desire more than the other. Often times, Marik would think that his brother simply was not interested in sex, but in truth, Cotl only put on a mask in the presence of his brother and the possible fuck that could happen. Why? Because Cotl knew that his brother was better at getting one to have sex with him. Cotl could always try, but he always kindof felt like the other male needed it more, as well as the fact that he thought that Marik was more handsome, and the females (or males in Marik's case as well) would be more incline to want to sleep with the other male besides himself. After all, Cotl seemed to be pretty plain looking compared to the other male. It was a silent competition that Marik didn't know about.

Today, Cotl had already gone out and did his border patrol, and his trap checking. Again, he ended up being tripped up, but nothing in his trap. He was starting to get pissed off at the fact that his traps had been failing, and he was really too lazy to track down nests to go hunt that way. He guessed he'd hope for better results this time. He even moved the traps so that he could increase the chance of surprise over the rodents, because he figured they might have learned to not go the way where he normally put the traps. All he could do now was wait, and check them later on in the day. He went back to the mansion to go study. He had still been working on Halo's design, and he also was working on memorizing the veins in the ear so he could do Anselm's tattoo.

The male had been sitting on his bed, his fingers on the pages of the book infront of him as he silently read to himself. He had been going over the same page for a few minutes now, memorizing the pictures and the words on the page. He moved to where he could lay on his belly and be slightly more comfortable. He fingered through the pages again, and then realized that there weren't very many veins that he had to worry about. The male got excited slightly, not having to worry about the ears of the male too much. He closed the book and then took his pen and his sketch pad and started to work on the woman's tattoo. He ended up drawing the feo from memory, putting her in a sexy position that had her hands covering her chest and her side and back showing towards you, as if she was hiding her chest from you. Her figure did represent the female very well, and the quality of the art was absolutely flawless. He remembered her markings, and everything. The more the male had worked on it, the more the male came to start lusting the female. His shackles raised lightly as he continued to ink the feo. He had been finishing up the darker lines along her spine before he heard someone bounding up the stairs. Hey Cotl! I’m back! I found some really neat stuff! called out a voice. It was his brother. He knew it.

The male pushed himself off of the bed and looked to the door. Well, let's see-NYEH- what you got then, Marik.

Perhaps he did need it more, if only to keep him sane. To keep away the physical pain that he felt when he was deprived. Oh yes, his condition provided him with pain as well as mental anguish. But honestly he didn’t see it as a competition. He had never tried to compete with his brother. Actually if he knew that his brother was actually interested then he would back off. But he was just being the way he was. It was just a part of him. Like Cotl’s obscenities. You just grew to love them. They were what made his brother so unique. So special. So cute. Oh yes, Cotl was cute whether he thought so or not. And really, it was all about the attitude. You would think that Marik wouldn’t get much attention with how small he was. Well, small as in height at least. But it was the attitude that he presented that got him attention. He put himself out there. He didn’t worry or anything like that. He didn’t doubt himself. He had that self assurance that had others thinking better of him. It was just a secret that everyone had to end up learning for themselves. But of course he would give it away to his brother should Cotl ask. But as for others, well, they were just on their own. It wasn’t like it really was such a hard lesson to learn. It just took believing in yourself no matter what others might say about you. It wasn’t like Marik was without hearing negative things. He just didn’t let it affect him. And well, being covered in scars sometimes just added to the appeal. And it wasn’t like he had to tell them that their thoughts were false. It wasn’t up to him to tell them that they weren’t from fighting. Let them believe as they would. That was how he saw it. If they weren’t questioned then it wasn’t up to him to give the tale behind them. And each one most certainly had its own tale.

He juggled the items in his arms in order to be able to reach the door knob and open the door. He shifted the storage box with a tail to be rested on one arm long enough for him to push open the door before distributing the weight between both arms again. “Well I found this really neat storage box with a tail.” He started off explaining as he nudged his way into the room. “And I found those blankets that you wanted and a couple of bibles too.” He backed into the door in order to close it. The hybrid then made his way towards the bed in order to set down his armful of stuff but stopped when he saw what his brother was working on. “Oh wow, that is really good lieber bruder.” Carefully the storage box with a tail was placed onto the bed in an empty spot. Once his hands were empty he reached down to grab the sketch pad in order to look over what his brother was working on. Flowers weren’t really his thing but the detail was amazing. “You still have to do mine.” The words were spoken out slowly as he studied the image. He knew his brother was talented. But still even the extent of it continued to amaze him. But under whose influence was this being done? He would say that with how large it is that it would be something that Cotl suggested.

Carefully he laid the drawing back down and looked up at his brother. “Is this her first one? It’s pretty big to start off with, don’t you think? It would really take some time and dedication to do all of that.” Which boiled done to how long was Marik being kicked out of the room so that this could be done. Would he have to find somewhere else to sleep? For all of his bravado he wasn’t certain that the female in question would want him hanging around while she was getting this done. He wasn’t so pretentious to imagine that his presence was always wanted about. He had his self doubts. Just like anyone else did. And of course there was Cotl that usually shoved him out too. Not that he exactly understood why. He had seen it all before. He had been worked on numerous times before. Eh, but whatever. He just hoped that this wouldn’t take into the night and he would have to look for somewhere else to lay his head. But he really wasn’t too worried about it. He was sure that the bed would be big enough to fit all three of them. That certainly did bring back memories though. After all it wouldn’t be the first time that they had shared a female. Not that they were actually talking about that with this one. Still he couldn’t help the wanderings of his mind.

“When is she coming by?” He was nosey. They both knew that. But he wanted to know how long he had until he was getting kicked out. After all he brought a bunch of really neat things. Or what he thought were neat things. And of course he had brought along what Cotl had requested. Which reminded him. The younger hybrid reached over for the storage box and pressed the button that would open it. He pulled out the blankets and unrolled them. They really weren’t all that special. They were just a plain dark blue color but it wasn’t like Cotl had asked for anything specific. “What do you think of these?” He asked as he held one up. Then grinning, he wrapped one of the blankets around his brother’s shoulders in a cape like fashion. He then resumed digging into the box and pulled out a set of knives and his two bibles which he set to the side. These were items that he had picked up for himself. “Oh I found these too.” He spoke as he pulled out the ramen and handed it to Cotl and then the metal bits. “These were inside of another storage box. It broke when I tried to open it so I picked these up. Do you know what they are?”

Everybody wants a Piece of my WORLD
Everyone Wants To Suck My WICA-WICAWHAT?!
Why they want to go, I do not KNOW!

It seemed to take the other male quite a few more seconds to open the door. The other male struggled with the door slightly but got it open other wise, and immediately, the male had his eyes on the box that the other boy held. Bi-colored eyes that were opposite his siblings' were on the box with great curiosity. He didn't recognize the contraption at first. He'd have to look it up in a book. He knew however that it ran on electricity, because the "tail" as his brother had gone on to speak about was actually a plug it into a electrical socket. He didn't know what it was besides that though. He would call it the box with the tail as well, since his brother had been doing so already. The other male went on to speak about the blankets that he wanted, and then some...bibles? So you're religious or something?-NYEH- That's a card. the male spoke, his brow pierced brow twitching. Marik spoke about the picture that he had on the bed, sitting there, waiting to be finished. Danke. the response was automatic. Cotl always thanked someone for complimenting his art, especially his brother. He was one of the more important people that he needed to impress in his own eyes. He couldn't be a failure. Not with his brother here. So he worked extra hard. Subconsciously done. Marik then added a comment about his own tattoo that he needed done. Fick then. We'll do it now. the male responded, his throat clearing at the end of what he said.

Cotl listened to the other male as he went on to ask and speak about the large field of flowers that he had been designing. They had yet to have the blood on them, but they still were beautiful. Night blooming cereus' they were. Though, he had modified the way that they grew, so it'd be like they grew straight from the ground, maybe like daisies, or sunflowers (in case of sunflowers, minus the large stalks). There had been some creativeness in this design as well as a zoom in on one flower in particular. The field was around the one larger flower. Each flower looked different, though, not in color, but slightly in design. Each had it's unique petals, folded and twisted in different ways. Very, very artistic. He let his brother ask when she was coming over to get it. He was quick to respond then. She might not be getting it. -FUCKING SHITFACE- She wanted to see it on paper first. the male spoke to his brother, nodding his head slowly. She's the one whom lives on the first floor.-NYEH- In the one room. I have to go to her when I am finished. he added, continuing to nod his head lightly.

Marik then moved to the box and pressed a button, that opened the door. Inside were the folded up blankets, the books, and some other things. Marik unfolded one of the blankets and asked if they were good. He nodded his head as he inspected the fabric. A little bit beat up, but perfect otherwise. the male spoke as he took the blanket from his brother and put it on the shelf. He would put them on the bed when they cleared the other stuff. The boy then held out a cup-a-noodles out to him, and he chuckled lightly. The metal bits were something else that he did not recognize. The male cocked his head at the bits, but then thought of Cassius. That boy would more than likely know what those are. Das ist essen. Cotl spoke, holding up the cup of ramen to his brother. Das...-ARSCHLOCH- I don't know. the male continued and explained to his brother. He paused only briefly and then continued yet again. However, Cassius, one of the newbies in the house, would probably know. He knows a lot about maschinen. the male spoke, clearing his throat after he finished before his left audit twitched.

Sprechen. Denken hart. Wandernd.

Of course it took him a bit to get the door opened. The box practically filled up his arms. But he ended up managing no thanks to his brother. But oh well, it wasn’t like Cotl could see through the door and know that Marik had his hands full. Still it would have been a nice gesture if his brother had thought to get up and get the door. But then again the only thing that Marik was bringing back for certain were blankets. So honestly this case could be argued either way. Marik wasn’t fussed one way or another. He had managed to get in anyways, with or without help it didn’t matter.

He laughed as Cotl spoke about him being religious. “Well it turned out that I have been religious all along. I will have to show you my bibles.” He hadn’t planned on showing off his bibles at first. He really didn’t think they were something that Cotl would want to see. Not with what was depicted and described inside one of them. The other he hadn’t glanced at yet. He was sure it would be the same though. Or at least the content be near about the same. He wasn’t exactly certain. But he wanted Cotl to be a happy guy too so why not share the happy guy’s bible with him? Of course he didn’t expect his brother to go and convert after this. After all Marik didn’t realize he was being religious until he had found the bibles. And now that he had the bibles he had to work his way through them. He had to be faithful and practice each and every thing in them. He no longer had his own special set of ticks. He had religion. A religion that he ended up having to be faithful to. It just took him until now to find out the name of it. It took him stopping the burning of books and flipping through one to realize that he had a religion all along. He was actually well practiced in it too. And if he was back home in Germany then he would be well on his way to holy fulfillment. He would have been working his way through each and every ritual. But that was hard for him to do where he was at now. He just didn’t have the friends to complete the ceremonies with. Not to mention that the timing was entirely off. War was ruining everything for him. Especially since the war had nothing to do with him. He had just came in upon it. And yet he was made to suffer. Without any friends to help ease the pain. It really wasn’t very fun at all. At least not for Marik. Though Cotl might just be enjoying himself. War was more of Cotl’s thing than it was Marik’s. Marik would just prefer to make love not war. Though his loving always left battle scars. Still, he probably wouldn’t be allowed to get away with that. Would be nice though. He’d be doing what he enjoyed and helping out the clan at the same time. Ah, if only.

He had no idea that his brother tried to impress him. It wasn’t really needed though. Marik already looked up to his older brother. After all his brother was allowed to be himself around their parents while Marik had to hide what he was. To him it seemed as if it didn’t truly bother Cotl to be out casted. Oh sure, Cotl might hate the isolation and all but still he didn’t think his brother missed their parents or their sisters in the slightest. Marik wasn’t allowed to say outright that he didn’t really want anything to do with the rest of his family for turning their backs on his brother when he needed them. No, he had to live up to being the good son. The perfect son. It was a burden but he didn’t know how to tell their parents no like Cotl did. That alone earned the slightly older hybrid admiration in the younger boy’s eyes. Cotl didn’t have to be perfect. Marik had always been the one to accept him just as he was. He didn’t mind Cotl’s flaws at all. Except maybe when they were turned against him. He didn’t like having his brother upset at him or hitting him or any of that. But still he couldn’t prevent the fights that they had. Some of them were about really strange things. But they always managed to work through them and got along grandly again afterwards. That was the one thing that Marik really liked. They could fight but still remain the best of friends. Could still get along really well. They would fight but Cotl would never kick him out or send him away. Even though Marik was the one usually starting the fights. He didn’t understand why himself. It was just like all of a sudden something would snap inside of himself and he would start picking a fight with Cotl. He didn’t really want to but he couldn’t control the sudden change in mood that had it happening. If Marik acted up like he did around Cotl around their parents then certainly he would have been sent away as well. But Cotl never did that. Maybe his brother realized that he couldn’t help the sudden fluctuations in mood. Maybe Cotl realized that Marik didn’t really want to fight in the first place but just couldn’t control the emotions or the barrage of words as much as Cotl couldn’t control his own. After all there wasn’t anything in his normal personality that said he liked to fight usually. It shouldn’t since he wasn’t really hyped up for this war or anything. It wasn’t like he’d do much good in a fight with as small as he was. Not that his lack of height had ever really bothered him before, and it still didn’t now, but it put him at a disadvantage in this aspect.

“You remember what I want, right? I think that just simple black lines will do. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. The symbol should speak well enough for itself.” At least that is what he was assuming. He didn’t think that it had to be anything outlandishly fancy. The symbol was what was really important to him. The meaning of it. Not any fancy decorations that Cotl could come up with to make it stand out more than it already would. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust his brother’s judgment. It was just that he was only after something simple. Something that wouldn’t take much time at all. After all his brother seemed occupied with other things currently. There was the book and the drawing. So yes, it seemed that his brother already had other things on his mind. This had him considering to just get something simple. Something that would be done quickly. Then Cotl could get back to whatever it was that he was working on. Whatever it was that he had been concentrating on before Marik had gotten in. The drawing seemed to be quite an important something. It was the making or breaking factor of if the female was going to it or not. It was turning out quite nicely so he didn’t see why it wouldn’t be wanted. Not unless it was her first one and just how large it was would turn out to be a factor. That would be the only thing that he could see going wrong. “I could talk to her if you want. See if I can talk her into it.” After all Marik was pretty much a walking testament of just what Cotl was capable of.

He smiled when Cotl seemed to like the blankets well enough. “Well next time you can come with me and we can look for better ones together.” It would be a brotherly bonding trip. And maybe they could find even more neat things. But then again Marik was likely to find about everything to be interesting. He was just the sort to want to know everything about everything. So all things would be interesting because they all would provide some bit of knowledge he wouldn’t otherwise know about. But that was just him. Part of what made him who he was. But really, would he be had any other way? He certainly didn’t think so. At least he couldn’t imagine being any other way. He enjoyed himself just the way that he was. It made him, dare it be said, loveable.

“Food?” It didn’t look like food to him. “Doesn’t look it.” Gnawing on the container didn’t sound very appealing at all. He’d rather go out and catch something live instead. It sounded much more appealing than what it was that Cotl was holding up. He didn’t think that he would be eating any ramen anytime soon. His brother could eat it if he wanted to but Marik wasn’t about to partake of it. “Cassius? Do you want to ask him or should I find him and ask him?” He didn’t know if it would be better for Cotl to ask or for him to. After all he could explain just where he had found them. But then again Cotl already seemed to know the guy so maybe the familiarity would be better. It wasn’t like he knew how the guy was likely to act around new people. Some just weren’t as friendly and open. It really was a hard fact that had to be faced. So yes, whichever way that Cotl thought it would be better would be what he would end up going with. He was just a newcomer and his brother was more experienced with dealing with the coyotes in this area anyways.

His mind drifting back to his earlier thought the younger hybrid reached beside him to pick up one of the books that he had tucked there. The Gay Man’s Kama Sutra. “I don’t think you will like my religion much.” He spoke the words as he placed the book on the bed between them and opened it. “It tells you how to be happy in the religion.” At least that was what he had gotten from the title. The pictures inside certainly depicted something different than the other book had. The page he had opened to showed two men together. Marik’s brow knitted in slight confusion. He flipped a few more pages but it just continued to show two guys together. Seemingly without provocation he started laughing and grinned up at Cotl. “I guess you can only be happy being with another guy. So I really don’t think you will be practicing the religion.” How was he to know that there was another definition to the word gay?

He quickly closed up the book and tucked it away again. He placed both of the books and the knives back into the storage box with a tail and settled it onto the floor next to the bed. “So do the tattoo now?” He questioned as he laid down in the space that he had made. He tilted his head back so that it wouldn’t get in the way. So what if he was in something of a hurry to go ahead and get the work done? It had been before Cotl had left Germany the last time that he had gotten something done. Before Cotl had left for Canada. So he had been without his brother’s decorations for awhile. And he would guess that others had been receiving them in his place. “We should find more metal and you can do more of that as well. It has been a long time since you have worked on me. So what do you think? One right where my tail starts?” Of course he could suggest other places, like at his hips, but he doubted his brother would want to get that close. But still the mental image of forcing his brother to have his face down there had him grinning.

OOC: That one's a monster <3; SSWM: 1162
Du hast mich gefragt
Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt

The male spoke about him being religious the whole time. Brow perked in curiosity. The boy also explained that he had to show him the bibles. Cotl was genuinely interested in what the male was talking about. You see, when Cotl thought about bibles, he normally thought about their own German translated bible that revolved around the method of a higher being called "God" or as the book put it Gott. Every time he thought of religion, it left a nasty taste in the back of his throat. Why would he want to put his faith in someone that was never there? Why would he put faith in anyone but himself, and his brother because he was the only one that was there. They were only supposed to look out for each other, and Cotl believed that the family bond was more important than pretty much anything. He had run away from his father, and mother, yes, but his brother followed right behind him. That took faith. And the faith and trust that had been restored in the male made him stronger now than he was back home. The seclusion and training had almost made him go insane, multiple times, and there was barely anything he could do about it. This was why the male was so good at entertaining himself in the confines of his room. He had to do everything he could to not go insane during the day. Every few people that were tattoo freaks would be brought by his brother would sometimes be the little socialization he got, and even then, he sometimes wouldn't talk much because he was busy concentrating. Since the male had been doing it for awhile now, he was much more comfortable holding a conversation while drawing. Cotl said nothing more about the books before the other male wanted to know if he remembered what he had wanted. Of course, he had remembered, this was Cotl we were talking about. He might not have been the most socially accepted son of a bitch, but he sure as hell could remember shit quite well. Ja, ein swastika. the male spoke, nodding his head lightly to the other.

As the boy went on to speak more, he had spoken about the feo, and wanting to know if Cotl would like him to give her a visit and let her be amazed by his other art that he had put on his brother's body. Cotl shook his head. Nein. I'm sure she can come up with a decision on her own. -SCHIEß- Plus, she'll meet you sometime, and if she brings up the subject, then sure, mention that your tattoos are from me as well. the male spoke, nodding his head lightly. He then realized that he had not remedied all of his brother's former questions. He went on to answer these next. Her name is Halo Lykoi. She's related to Kaena Lykoi, und Gabriel... There are others in her family that are here, I'm sure. the male was absolutely sure, his voice cleared. They probably would have to look at a family tree to actually know how many were actually part of the Lykoi clan. He almost felt like he was intruding on an actual family now all of a sudden. He shook his head of the thought and paid attention to his brother as Marik went on to speak about the damn blankets. Cotl planned on using them for the tattooing patients so he didn't get any blood on his mattress. He didn't want someone else's blood all over his bed, you know. They're good for their purpose.-NYEH- the male spoke to the other, affirming it with another nod of his cranium.

Marik went on to question the ramen that he had in his hand. Cotl chuckled briefly, figuring that Marik didn't know how it was food, considering the way he was looking at the packaged food. It's soup, bruder. Just died out. -FUCKING CUNT FACE-You pour some boiled water over it, and then you wait for it to soften up a bit, and then you eat it. the male explained, poking the Styrofoam of the cup of noodles. He chuckled again before he handed the bits back to Marik. The other male asked him if he would like to go to Cassius, or if he wanted to do it himself. Cassius is a nice fellow, I'm sure you and he would get along right away..Maybe even... the male cut off at the end of his sentence, figuring that the other male would be able to fill in the blanks. Cotl didn't know if Cassius was gay, or bisexual, but it didn't hurt to try? If Marik couldn't get laid, then they could just be friends. I don't know if he goes that way though, so be careful.-NYEH- he warned the male always, simply because he was unsure of the other's sexuality. It didn't matter, if he wasn't that way before, Marik could possibly turn him. Cotl highly doubted that Cassius got laid anyways, but then again, Cotl had only met the guy once.

Marik pulled out his bible. He explained that it was the way to be happy in the religion. The male also told him that he might not like it much. Cotl didn't like religion anyways. The other male opened the book, and lord and behold, every page came up with a new way to stick your dick into some other guys' ass, they also had many other things in there, but Cotl had only looked at a few pages before he just stared at his brother. A signal that he was through looking at the book and that he didn't want to look anymore. Marik got the hint it seemed and he said 'whoops' before putting it away. Marik then went on to speak about the tattoo. Cotl was already ahead of him, jumping up and getting his tattoo gun, before he traveled back over, put the gun down on the end table, and then moved over to his drawer, picked out the black ink, a new needle, and his knife that he would shave the area down with. The male laid down for him and Cotl came up and started to shave the area on the base of his neck. The other male told him that he wanted some new piercings as well. Cotl might have had some spare metal within his jar of needles. He wasn't sure though, because he had been giving away piercings more than tattooing. He thought for a moment, counting the piercings he had done. He had given six to Ember, the woman whom had given him the horse in exchange, and then one to Kansas. He had about two bars left, and four or five rings then. He nodded his head. Ja, we can do that now too. I'm sure I have some extras. the male spoke as he continued to shave his brother's collar.

Sprechen. Denken hart. Wandernd.

Oh no, those bibles were boring. His had pictures in it. Besides, his religion was a lot more fun than those stuffy old stories anyways. His religion was the best religion ever. At least in his own opinion it was. But hey, that was just him. That was just the way that he saw things. And since his brother wasn’t really into practicing Marik figured that the other male may not really enjoy it. His brother was just too much of a prude for religion. But then again he had told Cotl the same thing over and over again. Told his brother that he was a prude and should get laid more. But he was starting to see why his brother didn’t. There was just no one that was interested around. Even Marik whom had never had such problems before couldn’t even find someone that was interested. It wasn’t a fun deal when you needed it to feel as if you weren’t about to go insane. And that was Marik’s issue. It wasn’t really a matter of wanting it but of needing it. Which was why the religion was perfect for him. Back in Germany he was an avid practitioner. And if he could find willing partners then he would be the same here as well But so far that was all a no go. But maybe after the war? Everyone would have tensions to release then, wouldn’t they?

It hadn’t been faith that had drawn him to follow his brother. Instead he had followed because he didn’t want Cotl to be alone. He had thought that he would be needed. Things hadn’t turned out that way though. Marik was the one that was more out of place than his socially awkward brother was. But that just went to show that everyone had the chance to fit in somewhere. Obviously his place was back in Germany while his brother’s was here in Canada. And now, because of a promise, Marik was stuck in a place that didn’t exactly agree with him. But his brother was here at least. That was the one good thing. And then he had found some really interesting bibles. He would just have to get used to the place. Get used to having to prove himself again. Not a task that he particularly liked but he had to do what he had to do. Still, it was easier when it was only his family that he had to impress. Here he had to make a good impression on everyone since no one knew him.

It wasn’t that he didn’t think that Cotl wouldn’t actually remember. But that they had been fighting again at the time. It had been something that had been said just to soothe him. Something that had been mentioned just to calm Marik. So he didn’t know if his brother had actually been paying attention or if he was just saying what he had to in order to get Marik back under control. He didn’t know if his brother had actually meant to do it or was just mouthing off anything that came to mind. But when what he wanted was named off he couldn’t help but to smile. So Cotl had really meant to do it. The younger boy had to admit that it was something that he had wanted to do for awhile. Something that he had always meant to get. And now he was going to.

He nodded his head in agreement to what his brother was saying. So he wouldn’t find the female and go and convince her. He would just wait for her to come to him. And when she did he would try his best to get her to go through with it. After all it wasn’t that bad. And well, he wouldn’t mind sitting in. Maybe even convincing Cotl to let him help out. If she was anything like what his brother had drawn then he really wouldn’t mind getting his hands on that. Not that he was about to say that out loud. But still his brother should know him well enough to know what he was thinking. Especially since it was the same thought that Marik had about everyone. After all Marik wasn’t about to discriminate. Why should he? Everyone needed loving. Marik was just the hybrid to give it to them. At least that was just how Marik saw things to be.

“So I’m the only one not in the family.” Or that was how it sounded and felt. Everyone had blood ties in the clan except for him. He was just some foreigner that had stumbled in. Didn’t that just go and make acceptance harder? All of the coyotes here were family and Cotl seemed to have been adopted into that bond. That just made Marik and interfering outsider. That wasn’t exactly a pleasant feeling. The boy frowned a bit and looked to the floor. Not only was he friendless but family-less too. Nice, what a great run of luck. He was continuing to stick out more and more. Germany was starting to sound like a better and better idea. If not for that promise…

He had no idea what the blankets were being used for. For all he knew Cotl wanted them to wrap up in so that he would stay warm at night. That seemed like the likeliest thought. He had no idea that they were just to cover the bed for others to lay on. If that was so then he wouldn’t have been so worried about finding some that fit to his brother’s tastes. In that case he would have been happy with whatever he had found first. Instead he had been trying to impress his brother. Trying to show at least him that he wasn’t entirely useless. That he was capable of finding what was wanted. What was asked of him. As well as some other oddities. The explanation of the soup had him staring strangely at the cup still. He still didn’t entirely get it. Why would they want to do something like that? But still… “You have eaten it before?” How else would Cotl know just what it was? How else would Cotl know just how to cook it? It seemed like the only solution that made any sense at all. Just how much had his brother changed since he had last saw him? It was like the other was becoming a brand new being. Marik wasn’t certain that he liked that very much at all.

The bits were accepted back and placed away for safe keeping. He would have to see this Cassius fellow then. And his brother’s half finished sentence had him raising a brow. “You really think that maybe…?” He didn’t really want to get his hopes up but he had been starting to doubt the possibility that anyone would like him here. But maybe he still had a chance yet. Maybe he could impress this friend of his brother. He could certainly use a little bit of an ego boost right about now. “So you don’t mind if I try?” After all his brother had marked Anselm off limits. While he still might try and flirt with said coyote if he saw him again Marik wasn’t going to try and actively pursue anything. But if Cotl was going to start sharing his friends then why not? And well, it wasn’t like Cotl was out and having sex either. If the possibility worked for Cassius then who would say that Cotl wasn’t a bit iffy as well?

He hadn’t looked at the book that he had presented to Cotl before showing it to him. He had only just taken it because of the name on it. He figured it would be like the other one that he had. He didn’t realize that it would be all about two men. He would just have to study it more later, maybe when Cotl was out or sleeping. “The other bible isn’t like this one. It is something that you will like more. I promise.” Though he hadn’t worried about pulling it out. If Cotl wanted to look at it later then Marik would allow it. He wasn’t about to start being stingy with his possessions. He had always shared with his brother. There was no reason to stop such a thing now. After all Cotl was sharing his room and bed with him. Cotl had invited him to stay in his home with him. Had even introduced him to one of his friends and letting him try his luck with another. So there was no need to worry about them not sharing just because they fought every once in awhile. Despite the quarrels they got along grandly. Perhaps better than siblings actually should.

He laid as still as possible as he was being shaved. It wasn’t like it wasn’t something that he wasn’t already used to. Lids slipped shut as he relaxed and trusted his brother to do this right and not mess up. “You should get a butt piercing too Cotl. Then we would match.” Not that he really thought that his brother would agree to it. Still the image was amusing. Even more so when he imagined Cotl to be trying to give it to himself since his brother wasn’t likely to trust him back there. The images playing out in his mind had a smile resting on his lips. It also had him tying not to laugh so that he wouldn’t move around so much and cause Cotl to mess things up.

The other male was quick to take it as if the male was not part of the "family". Cotl let out a 'pfft' sound come between his lips as Marik said this. -NYEH- I'm not part of this Lykoi family. They have not adopted me. You're not the only loner out here in this clan, you know. the male spoke, his rusty head nodding as he spoke these words to his brother. Cotl had noticed on who Marik was constantly putting himself as the outcast as of most recently, and Cotl felt like it was unfair for the male to keep assuming that Cotl was mister popular, when in all reality, he had his friends by multiple encounters and in the beginning, many of the canids that he met had seemed to be peeved at his constant cursing and his constant twitching and throat clearing and other tics. He had worked hard to make the friends he had now, and for the other male, Marik to think he was not liked because he had hit on the wrong guy once, and wasn't getting all the sex he was getting back in Germany, he found it quite unfair for the male to just single himself out like that. Give it time, Marik. You'll be part of the clan soon enough. If doesn't take much to be accepted by these fools. the male spoke to the other, telling him to take his time to make friends, and to not push himself onto everyone like he was so used to doing (and he probably wouldn't listen to Cotl anyways, simply because the male was known for jumping in quickly into things) so Cotl didn't understand why he even went in a wasted his breath with saying it.

His brother went on about the soup, asking if Cotl had tried it before. Cotl nodded his head. Ja, the 'yote that father sent me to had made these a few times. They are good. the male spoke, his throat clearing after he had spoken to his brother. The old 'yote that had been Cotl's master had been pretty modernized as far as humans things went. The 'yote had spent his entire life studying human things, as well as learning to fight with human made weapons and all kinds of miscellaneous information about the humans. Cotl had learned a lot from the old 'yote master, he had to admit that. Cotl figured that he'd boil some water for the soup later on, since he wasn't too hungry at the moment, and since he had to do his brother's tattoo. He put the noodles aside and continued to shave his brother's chest. He measured the width and length to where they both would make an even square that he could work in.

Marik asked if he really thought so. Cotl nodded his head and remained silent until the other male had asked if Cotl minded if he tried. Cotl didn't mind, as long as Marik knew when to back off. The only reason he had been stern and private with Anselm was because Cotl could see the look on the other's face which had meant that he was not interested and wasn't about to give into the charm of the German puppy-dog. Go for it-NYEH- the male spoke, nodding his head and reassuring that he was allowed to try without Cotl getting in the way and giving him dirty looks. Marik went on to speak about his other bible again. He commented that Cotl might like this one rather than the one with the two guys in various different sexual positions on each page. You can shows-BRAINS!- it to me later, after I finish this shit. Also, you think this is big enough? Want it bigger, smaller? the male spoke to the other, wondering how big Marik might have wanted it.

Cotl was almost surprised to hear what he had next. Marik said that he should get the same piercing as he. Cotl cocked his pierced brow to the male and just gave his brother this look for a good minute. You'll have to get it first, and then I'll decide if I want you that close to my ass.-MRRRH- the male spoke as he then took his sharpie marker and he make marks on the male's chest to signal where he planned on putting each of the arms of the swastika. He didn't continue without his brother's reassurance though, simply because this was Marik's choice in tattoos this time, not Cotl's.

How could he not feel outcasted when he was so used to things coming easily to him? He was used to having grasped some sort of information or something the first time. He was used to catching and holding interest right off. But that wasn’t happening here and he wasn’t sure how to handle it. He wasn’t exactly used to being alone like Cotl was. Because of that he wasn’t exactly sure how to handle it. Because of that he felt like an outcast. What had happened to him? What had happened to his magnetic personality? Did it wear off on the boat ride? He just didn’t get it. Didn’t understand it. Didn’t understand why things weren’t working out as they had back in Germany. But then again his name wasn’t as widely known or popular here. But still it wasn’t a fun feeling to feel so out of place. Had this been what his brother felt back in Germany? Had he felt this way back home? It wasn’t a fun feeling. No, it was distressing instead. Still, even if Cotl was right and they must likely wouldn’t be heeded, the words were comforting and made him smile. “Everything is just so different here. Nothing is like it was back home. Not even you.” He had certainly noticed the change in his brother. Probably something that no one else would. But then again he had been the closest to his brother, or so it was assumed. He didn’t know of Cotl having friends in Germany. It was always Marik bringing over the company. And just how much his brother had said in front of another. He couldn’t remember his brother really speaking to anyone but him. Though granted, Cotl was usually busy working on someone when Marik brought around friends.

“Well then I am glad I brought it back.” He was glad to have gotten something that his brother liked. Something that his brother enjoyed. Sure, they didn’t get along all the time but he still cared about the other. And what better way to show it than by giving a gift? Especially if it turned out to be one that his brother actually liked. “You will have something to eat later so that you won’t have to go out and hunt.” Or actually Cotl wouldn’t have to rely on his traps for one meal. That worked for him. He was taking care of his brother even though he hadn’t realized that he was doing so at the time he had picked up the ramen. He had just thought it something interesting to show his brother and to give to him. So far, except for the metal bits, everything he had brought back could be used. Or actually the metal bits were giving Marik a reason to meet another of Cotl’s friends. And perhaps the interest would even shift from the metal to other things. The least he could do would be to try. To see how far he could get. But that would have to come later. Right now his brother was working on the pieces he wanted done.

Marik laid still as his brother worked on shaving him down. It was a process that he was used to going through. After all he was highly decorated already. The slightly younger hybrid just relaxed with his eyes closed, trusting Cotl not to mess things up. “Okay, I will.” Whenever he found the time to do so. After all his brother was busy during the mornings and Marik tended to find himself out somewhere else during those time. About the only time they really saw each other was just before they decided to settle down for the night and sleep. But maybe one of those times he could convince his brother to sit up with him long enough to share his bible with his brother. Who knows, Cotl might actually want to convert and join Marik’s religion. It was highly unlikely but still a possibility. Maybe he could get his brother to stop being such a prude. Again, highly unlikely but still a possibility.

His fingers felt at the shaved patch since he didn’t have a mirror to look into to be able to tell how big it actually was. He had to rely on touch and feel out the edges of the square that had been made. “That is fine bruder. Just something simple is fine.” After all the design he wanted was very simple instead. All it was was just some line work and that was it. Just a few connected lines into a certain shape. It was far simpler than all of the other things that Cotl had placed on him. But that was fine. It would be his most cherished of all. Though when he felt his brother take a pause in working the boy cracked open an eye to see what was going on. And what was he met with but a weird look. “What? Why are you looking at me like that?” Marik didn’t really think that he had said anything that was too out of the way. And he hadn’t even been flirting even. So why was his brother looking at him that way? But then when his brother finally did end up speaking he couldn’t help but to laugh. “What’s wrong Cotl? You don’t trust me now?” Sure, he flirted and teased but he would never actually do anything without his brother’s expressed permission. Sure, he touched from time to time but he knew better than to cross that line. After all Cotl had already marked him up for being much too forward and ambitious. He never wanted to hurt his brother so he would walk that fine line but not cross it unless Cotl asked him to. “You don’t really think it will hurt too much do you?” Marik figured that he could handle it though. He had laid still for the large piece on his back. He had a number of piercings already. Plus all of the scars that marked his body. He really didn’t think that one more bit of metal would cause too much harm.
