FAIRE UN BIDE

Thought maybe we'd have a bro thread where Bast goes 'whoops, I joined Inferni'? Also, caps on the thread title seemed necessary.

This place really wasn’t much warmer than it was in Salluit, Québec. After all, it was snowing and the sun had long since been hidden behind a curtain of grey-white clouds. Sure, it was a nice change in scenery though. He and his brother had seen a whole lot of nothing on their trek away from home, but not much had piqued Bastien’s interest. Well, until Inferni that was. The French hybrid had managed to find himself along the borders while the two brothers wandered away on their own. Bastien was supposed to be keeping an eye out for some easy game they could fell together, but had been intrigued by the milky white skulls set along pikes in a dissuading manner. What was it that they were trying to keep out? And who was they exactly? Sébastien reclined to his haunches, studying the old bones for a few minutes while the snow came down to collect amongst the dark charcoals and tans in his fur. He’d have to tell Myrtle all about this – his brother wouldn’t believe it!

"Myrtle!!!" The hybrid twin had returned to the depths of Arachnea’s Revenge to divulge to his brother what he had discovered. Myrtle, of course, was nowhere to be found. Maybe he had actually gone off and found some animals to hunt, whilst Bastein was playing around the coyote clan’s borders. The excitement was building in his gut and he hoped his brother responded to his call – he couldn’t possibly wait to tell him. Of course, he was slightly frightened to reveal the outcome of his little trip, but he was sure Myrtle wouldn’t be too mad with him. After all, they were brothers and best friends… they couldn’t stay mad at one another for very long!

Sounds awesome to me. Big Grin WC: 268

After finding himself in a strange territory and meeting a very strange wolf — who said he could live there for a bit!!! How awesome!!! — Myrtle had decided to try and find Bastien. Somehow in their trek to find some food, the two brothers had gotten separated. Myrtle had ended up in the northwestern pack lands of Dahlia de Mai; however, he had no idea where Sébastien had run off to! Myrtle decided to return to where they had last seen one another: a creepy forest full of spiders! Myrtle had not liked it at all, which was one of the reasons he had decided to try and find some food somewhere else. Of course, he had gotten himself horribly lost, as he was no good at doing anything without Sébastien at his side. He was pretty useless without his brother — but still more useful than his father — which was why they had stuck together for so long. And, of course, because Sébastien was Myrtle's bestest friend in the whole wide world!

Myrtle stopped suddenly when he heard his name called. He stood frozen, flicking his ears in every direction, trying to discern his brother's location. He let out a loud howl in reply, an awkward long-drawn out coyote yip that eventually turned into a lot of excited yips and half-howls. Myrtle excitedly set off in the direction he thought Sébastien was, shouting for his brother all the while.

"SÉBASTIEN! OÙ ES-TU? JE NE TE TROUVE PAS!" Myrtle's voice revealed the desperation he hopelessly felt. He wanted to find his brother, and he wanted to find him now!
