With the grace of a prowling cat, the male made his way through the field of sunflowers. At any other time, they would have been gorgeous, bright, so full of life... and yet with the chilling breeze that fluttered through the air, they were far from that former image. Janos' eyes fell on the limp figures and a scowl had crossed his handsome facade, raven lips curling downward just ever so slightly. It was a depressing scene, and one that the hybrid had not wanted to find himself in, though he had seen far worse in his time traveling. The Russo knew how things would, without fail, thrive again in the spring time - which was not too far away according to the signs ahead - but the winter remained in its harsh state. One would simply have to deal with the obstacle as if it were nothing.

Lifting his head upward and drawing in the scents around him, Janos sighed. He had not caught whiff of any of his family and felt rather alone. While he could find his time alone quite enjoyable, he longed for some form of company in which he could break his silence. Janos had gone without speaking for a considerable amount of time, though his intellect required him to speak to someone. He shivered, long alabaster legs trembling in the air around him, but there was no place for him to hole up. Without family, without friends, he knew that it was best if he kept moving; there was nothing restraining him, no part of that land to hold him there. The hybrid beast simply felt as if he were a part of the weather itself: destined to arrive, but soon to depart and having to be replaced by something far worse, or something much better. It was an inevitable cycle
