[html]OOC: Excessively bad post. My apologies on that. The next one will be better.

It was strange to leave the safety of the Cour des Miracles, but the growing pup who had been taken in by Vigilante found himself yearning to see the outside. His home was nice, but what else was there? Were there other wolves? Orin had been from outside of the pack, where did she live? Was his mother out there? So many possibilities loomed before him as he wandered the shattered coast, leaving his home for the first time in two months.

As the comforting and familiar smells started to fade, his anxiety started to rise. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to leave. After all, if something happened, Vigilante wouldn't be there. Niro wouldn't be there. No one would be there. But the worries faded as he caught sight of the ocean. The same ocean, but a different part, a different view. He giggled at it, as gulls soared over it and landed to peck at the ground. They were queer little avians, their white feathers with black markings made him wrinkle up his nose. None of them were as pretty as Marahute.

Their allure wore off as quickly as it came and he pressed on through the snow, the cold air nipping at his nose and causing his paws to go numb. Burgh! He shook his head as a tree branch dumped a pile atop it, leaving him with flakes dusted through his rusty fur. Maybe it was time to go. But as his eyes turned back to look for the path he had followed, he stood appalled. It was gone! His footsteps faded and he was left with a fear that he would never find his way home.

"'lo? 'LO?! Issa any'ne here?!"

This certainly was a new place, Axelle thought. The snow without doubt made the beach look strange during the winter. She was surprised that the waves weren’t frozen stiff in this cold. Axelle’s white side blended indefinitely with the snow, but as soon as she turned her black side gave her away. The white side, though, was the one with the bright eye, so either way she wasn’t completely hidden. Winter Wonderland, indeed.

Her paws sunk into the deep snow as she tried to walk. Up ahead, she saw a small orange fluffy thing. A pup? There was no way to tell from where she was, but good thing she had a good nose. The little boy’s scent gave him away. She stopped abruptly, lifted her head, and looked crookedly in the direction. Confused. Didn’t this pup’s mother know where he was? He looked young from where she stood. She couldn’t really see him, but he looked alone. Helpless. She continued to walk forward again now hearing the little boy’s call. Her white side was facing him, and she wasn’t sure if he could see her. She normally didn’t do this, but she called back to him with a low howl. When she came closer, she spoke.

Hello.
