Word Count :: 383 Yarmouth, for Ku. Could not decide where to set this, settled on here since LOBSTER.

The sun was just beginning to rise when Thorn Russo gently opened one eye, stretching his arms out as far as they would go and letting out a yawn. Lying near the water on a dock, one long furry limb dangling off the edge and kilt slightly askew the white and black wolf continued to stare at the colouring sky as he pulled himself up, sitting on the edge of the dock and swinging his feet back and forth. The silence and colours made the stiffness in his aging spine less uncomfortable but it still reminded him of the ever ticking clock that everyone races against. His plan last night had been to explore the nearby homes and boats in hopes of finding a few key items that he was low on and then capture a mysterious creature known as the "lobster" that didn't exist back home. After that maybe start exploring the neutral territories or scope out a pack. He did miss companionship.
Instead he had dipped into his hip flask, drained it and fell asleep… passed out on the dock like a common drunkard.

Thorn walked down the dock, kneeling to pull on a weathered and torn piece of rope. After all this time the boats had mostly rotted and their tethers had ripped and frayed. He had heard rumours that the fishing here was good, but the fishing would be easier with a trap or a rod and hook. Not wanting to be bothered actually building something Thorn glanced around, paws on hips and wondered if any of the nearby homes might still have something lying around. He also wondered what the trap actually looked like and what the creature needing to be caught looked like. He had heard that it was blue-brown but another said red, those were two opposite ends of the spectrum! Was this some sort of magical clawed fish that could change colour at whim?

Removing his kilt and setting his fedora a top it, he jumped into the water about half-way down the dock with a splash. Emerging from the water he laughed, his teeth practically chattering in the early day cold water. Then he slowly started to push his way through the water aiming for deeper water in hopes of finding the mysterious "lobster."
