Every morning was met with a grimace as the young hybrid peered out to see that, no, the ground had yet to be covered with white. The young hybrid knew not exactly why it was so fucking important to have snow, she just knew it was. This Autumn had been wetter than her first year of living. Halo’s narrow muzzle was pressed against the glass to witness the fucking endless rain before she gave a disappointed snort that stained the glass with vapour and turned away. She resisted the urge to stomp down into the basement and rips some of her rarely used killer rodents apart. A cream coloured hand rose to her tattooed chest as she wondered where the senseless anger was coming from. She wanted stability to be a part of her. Hard, physical training had been good for her though. The sense of gaining control over her own life again was probably a mere illusion, but at least she was trying to do something about her issues. Kind of.

Most people going through mind shattering tragedies remained broken. They slowly wasted away and suffered from the injuries they had received, both mental and physical. Halo had managed to go the other way. Of course, a few days had been spent in utter misery, locked inside her room, but she had not turned away from the world. Her mind suffered, but she did not let this affect her body. She ate, she trained, and she breathed. Most of all she wanted to curl into a ball in her closet, but the Lykoi woman refused to shatter like that. He had broken her and taken away her pride, but she would get it back no matter what. Every day she gained more confidence with the sword and every day it seemed to weight less in her hands. Her body – while it had always been lovely, was slowly changing as hard muscles approached. She could not afford to be weak any longer.

The Lykoi danced effortlessly down the stairs with one of her twin swords thumping against her back in its sheath. She wanted to learn the art of wielding both weapons simultaneously, but she was still fresh with weapons and knew that she would first have to master wielding one before two. The copper coated girl’s nose twitched in irritation as the scent of the freshly joined male infiltrated the air. It was clear that she no longer lived alone in the mansion. In the start she had actually loathed the loneliness within the large human building, but now she loathed the male’s presence. They had yet to run into each other – no, Halo did her best at avoiding any confrontation with the male. This was her house and he shouldn’t be here. The girl strode into the living room without knowing why. Hunting was useless in the rain and there was nothing to do.

She wanted to dance with her swords, but she couldn’t be bothered to do it outside. Halo turned around and rushed from room to room randomly, feeling the uncomfortable restlessness every seriously physically active creature would if they were not allowed to find a way to work their body.

OOC: Muahahaha This s what you get for avoiding!

He was out at the borders again, first for duty, and second for his traps. Yeah, he had the traps set just about everywhere, though more so in the wooded areas in the pathway of the woodland creatures. Five out of ten of his traps were tripped, but had nothing in them, 3 of them were successful, and two of them were destroyed. He only got three rabbits out of the whole ordeal, and he was quick to rewire the 8 of them back up for the next meal he needed. The male would come out here and check twice a day, any more and someone would catch onto what he had been doing. The only one whom knew that he knew this method of hunting was Kaena, and maybe Gabriel if Kae had talked to her son about him. Cotl was getting tired of the ridiculous amount of rain, and he was tired of having to rewire these traps almost completely because of the rain and wind that kept on blowing them all over the place.

By the time he was finished, he was ready to go back to the mansion to skin the rabbit and cook and eat it. He remounted his horse and gave a small sigh before he tapped his horse's side with his heel, and whipped the reigns. He even gave a "he-yah" to encourage the horse to bolt off. This was what the horse did, and they went into the direction of the mansion. The horse's hooves steadily thumped against the ground as the two seemed to fly over the terra. It was almost amazing that these horses were able to reach such a high speed. Cotl had come to enjoy the rides he took with his stallion. They were relaxing. Very relaxing.

Only minutes later the horse was slowing up because they had arrived at their destination. Cotl thought about going right back out, but decided it was too shitty outside to go to Halifax and look for blankets and matches and stuff. He sighed once again as he dismounted his horse, and pulled it into the large shed (that he had turned into a stable for his horse) and then ran out of the shed, into the rain, and then into the house. He entered the mansion, and instantly noticed the smell of the feo. She was active now. He was curious of her, since they had yet to see each other. Cotl had already found out her name, Halo Lykoi, from her grandmother- Kaena Lykoi. His eyes scanned the room before he noticed the sound of doors opening and closing. She better not go into his room. His shackles raised his soaked fur as he thought about his personal space being invaded. He then shook his pelt from the water that had collected on it before he started to look around. He peered into a hallway on the bottom floor, and there she was, looking into a room.
"You must be -SCHIESS- Halo Lykoi. My name's Cotl Ulrich" his accented voice lifted into the air, he did not dare to venture close, for he immediately saw the two swords that she had resting on her back.

Large ears flickered when the entrance door gave an intruder away with its low complaint as its handle was pushed down. Her eyes narrowed with annoyance, but she was no longer the only master of this house. Her jaws clang together with light irritation. That was it. She kept on rummaging the empty rooms, hoping he would have the decency to leave her the hell alone. A ripple of discomfort traced her spine until it reached the starting curve of her neck. She wondered if she was supposed to be frightened. She had taken care to avoid the room that confidentially reached of him. As long as he respected her privacy she would respect his. She supposed she could see her new house mate in a more positive light. Perhaps she would be able to sleep better during the nights if she knew another male was in the building. She did not truly believe that Samael Lykoi would come after her in the middle of the night, but the tragedy had caused a bad trait from her early childhood to sneak back up on her. She was afraid for approaching monsters when it was past bedtime. She barricaded her door, sure, but imagination could be a cruel thing.

Approaching footsteps was noted and the girl’s face turned when he entered the scene. The slowly closed the door to the room she had been about to walk into, well knowing she would have to take the rest of the restless house wandering another day. The large building was cooling down quickly as it waited for the snow to make a final, horrible temperature drop, and Halo fully intended to dig out everything she could find of blankets and covers. Halo had this image of sinking into a sea of soft fabrics and blankets in her king side bed while watching the snow dance past outside her window. Her ear flickered at the man’s accent. It was quite unique. The sudden, harsh word that sounded before he reached her name almost sent her ears back against her skull. She was unaware of the male’s problem. She did not recognize the word and forgot about it quickly after as her mind decided to memorize his name. It was a strange name, but so was hers in a sense.

He was of Inferni so why should she be unkind? ”Hey. It’s you that recently moved in here, correct?” of course it was correct. She wondered why he had not chosen a cave like everyone else. Perhaps this meant that they had a few thigns in common. Her ruby eyes turned to the freshly caught rabbits for a fleeting moment before they rose to his form again. She was determined not to reveal her stomach’s sudden ache as she had caught sight of food. They did not belong to her. ”Sorry if I was noisy – I haven’t practised with my swords today, so my body is restless.” She wondered if Cotl did any kind of training. She also wondered why she suddenly seemed so interested while moments before she had silently cursed him in her mind.

Hey. It’s you that recently moved in here, correct? there was no contempt in her voice that he could recognize, so he did not bother to become anti-social, or angry. As long as she was calm, he too would be calm. The male twitched his audit and then nodded his head. "Ja." he spoke, his throat then proceeding to clear itself, but not without a loud sound emerging from the depths of the canine. Sorry if I was noisy – I haven’t practiced with my swords today, so my body is restless. she then went on to apologize to him. His pierced brow cocked at the feo. "Proceed to make -MOTHERFUCKER- noise, this place is too quiet anyways." the male dismissed the apology with a wave of his hand, telling her that he really didn't mind. He did however catch the glace down to his kill. He didn't let her think that he knew, but he did, and he decided that he might as well be the gentleman and offer. "Hey, Look. I got these rabbits, and I was going to -FUCK-prepare them anyways. Would you join me for breakfast?" he might as well be nice. After all, the two lived in the same proximity. Plus, it was a pack mate, as well as the fact that (by the looks of her tattoo) she could be the next one showing up at his door with something to offer in trade for a tattoo, or piercing. A customer is a customer, and he needed to at least try to put up with assholes.(though she was pleasant so far)

The male let his gaze fall on her. She seemed to be a coyote, but she also had very small features of a wolf. He then thought about her family. Kaena was hybrid. He could tell, but this one, she could be more coyote than wolf. His eyes traced her tattoo that was the same as her grandmother's. The tattoo was simple, like a brand. Cotl didn't know if he could deal with being branded. It might have been a loyalty thing. Or maybe it just felt like he would be owned by her if he had the same tattoo as everyone else. He shrugged his shoulders lightly, though it seemed more as a twitch. "Kaena did an awesome job on your star. It's looking good. -DOUCHEBAG-You've also been taking good care of it." he commented, just noticing that her tattoo was rather new, and the area was clean. He then looked at his own newest addition by the same artist as her own tattoo. He then pointed at it. "She did this piece-FUCKING PENGUINS- of art too. "

La-lalala, look, it's christmas time! 300+

This time, her ears fell flat against her skull when a swearword was thrown straight into her face in the middle of his next sentence. Her eyes narrowed down into two thin, crimson slits as she quietly wondered what the fuck he was doing. His behaviour was contradicting itself. She had the impression he was being civil, so why did he fucking offend her like that? Did he think he was funny? Was this some sort of retarded joke? Her silky ears did not stir when he continued, no, not even when he mentioned breakfast. Cotl had perhaps told some of his syndrome, but Halo had no idea and could not figure it out. She knew one thing though: she had no fucking patience with dimwits that tried to ridicule her. ”Sure,” was her simple reply to his generous offer, for she was full of suspicion now. What a weird guy.

Although this odd behaviour of his denied her the right of being comfortable, she did not feel threatened either. Every time his intended words shot through the air, the girl’s face stiffened just a little bit more. She was unable to travel along with the topic – too focused on his swearing. Her narrowed eyes danced down to the fresh skull on his belly. It was fresh and it was easy to judge by the looks. When Halo had received her chaos star, she had done exactly everything that Kaena had told her to do to take care of her sore skin. Thankfully no infection had managed to infest her chest and her tattoo was perfect. "That’s a skull, not fucking penguins.. It looks nice though.” She lifted her gaze again to glare at her housemate now. "What’s your problem?” It was a defensive yet confronting question. Apparently he did have a problem; swearing at her like that, but it was done in a way that puzzled her. Almost as it was not truly intentional.

look at these people, amazing how sheep will show up for the slaughter

Sure the word came after her audits fell against her head and her eyes slitted at him. He could feel the crimson orbs of her digging into his flesh. If he did not have the icy gaze that he had, he would say that her eyes were probably on more of the chilling side. As far as he knew though, was that his own gaze was enough to send the chills down anyone's pretty little spine. He might have been small, yes, but by no means was he weak, or easily taken advantage of. He figured he put up more of a fight than a normal coyote would have, just because he could completely lash out without much of a problem. He didn't rally even need a weapon either, for since he was tiny, all they really did for him was slow him down. Though, the male did own a horse, so he wouldn't be slowed down by a sword. It'd still have to be a light weight weapon, preferably one handed. The male nodded his head lightly, and then his neck twitched his head to the side before he made a sound with his mouth and returned his gaze to her.

That’s a skull, not fucking penguins.. It looks nice though the feo spoke to him. He knew it wasn't penguins fucking, I mean, it didn't even look like that. He shook his head. What’s your problem? her eyes returned to his, a glare still on her face. His won audits flipped back lightly at the realization that she was glaring at him. (he hadn't really cared before just now when she returned her glare to him again)
"I don't have a problem.-BULLSHIT!- It's the way I talk." he immediately knew that his condition was the reason she had asked the stupid question.
"It just happens. -FUCKING COCK FACE!-" the male added on, German accented voice ringing in the air, the tone being slightly more irritated than a few moments before. His body then turned away from her, and he motioned for her to follow. He lead the way to the kitchen, knowing there would be a small stove in there (yeah, he knew how to use a stove). His strides were quick, and his gait was proud, sexy.

The male entered the kitchen moments later, and placed the rabbits on the counter before he searched the drawers for a knife (which he found after opening five different drawers) and once he found one that was not rusty, he took it up in his hand and went back to the three rabbits. He then started to skin them.
" So Halo, you know how to do anything else besides -SHIT FACED BASTARD- swing your sword around?" he asked as he looked down at his work, but expected her to be there and to answer his question.

He shook his head and her confusion grew. A part of her wanted to walk away from him and rush up to her room, but she was slightly intrigued as well, despite it all. His horrible insults seemed to be accidental outbursts without any ties to the sentence he was going through. Her ears continued to stay folded against her skull as he claimed to have no problem. If it was just the way he talked then she did not particularly like it. Did he actually throw such shit in just because it was the way he felt like communicating? She could not grasp why. The canine world had yet to reach the stage where they started to retake the earth and awaken the ghosts of the human civilization. There was no educational system so there was no way Halo could understand that this was a sad condition where the male was powerless. She held no interest for healing and conditions so she would never realize that he had a syndrome.

Her feelings were definitely mixed now, but he had offered her food and seemed to be generally okay apart from his rude language. It seemed he was getting impatient with her, and the young woman glowered in silence as he turned his back to her and marched. He was being a weirdo and he got annoyed with her? Lips wanted to twist into a distasteful grimace, but he had motioned for her to follow, and therefore she did. The kitchen was the final destination and she leaned lightly against the doorframe, feeling hunger tugging eagerly. She did not think she nor Cotl had received great first impressions of each other. It was a shame. Perhaps it was her. She had definitely felt more angry lately. She knew why, but did not know how to make it stop. Ears flickered and face lifted as he attempted to start a more sensible conversation.

At least he was trying. He did not even look at her as he talked. The young female brushed her hip casually and watched a few dust motes dispatch. She did not look that bad, did she? Slender fingers brushed through her rich, copper hued hair as she pondered, tracing old behavioural patterns. The only way to get well along with people was to be pleasant, wasn’t it? She ventured closer and ended up next to him, though not too close to be in the way. She sort of wanted to twist his question into a rather inappropriate answer, but fought back the impulse. ”I train rats.” If he did not already find her odd, she guessed he definitely would now. ”they make good spies and are also quite good at.. uhm, eliminating garbage.” Yes, she had found out that they were excellent at gnawing off the living meat of a wolf. "What do you do?" perhaps he could turn out to be even more interesting?

Her body came close to his, and even though she was not in the way, Cotl found her presence right next to him to be rather...uncomfortable? He did not let the emotion show, no, instead, he let the coldness slip back into his eyes, and onto his maw. I train rats. the beginning had caused him to stop his work and raise his head. "It seems as if I might have taken out a few of her friends then. Oh well. Sure as hell not going to say anything about it.." the male thought to himself. (yes, his thoughts were clear and not riddled with profanities.) More proof that the profanities that came from his tongue were involuntary. they make good spies and are also quite good at.. uhm, eliminating garbage. she continued on. Yeah, they make for a good snack too. They're also good at getting caught by me. the male let the thought pass before he cocked his pierced brow at the feo. He liked her sword swinging better. Training and befriending rodents was something that he rather not deal with, only because he'd feel bad about a rat getting trapped in his traps. He probably would feel bad every time now that he knew that his housemate trained and valued the rodents. "Interesting hobby." the two words were followed by a clearing of the male's throat, instead of riddled with profanities.

What do you do? she then went on to ask him. He picked through his skills before he decided on which ones he would tell her. He decided that he'd leave out the whole trapping thing. Just because her friends were in danger because of him. Though, by not telling her, if by any chance she could speak to them, he would be taking away any warning that she could have been able to give them. Cotl didn't really see the harm; rats reproduced like crazy, so there were more where that came from. " I can pierce and tattoo.-COCK MONKEY- As well as play guitar, ride horses, read, cook." he spoke, nodding his head lightly, of course, leaving out his trapping skill. I know you probably would go to Kaena for the tattooing, but if you ever need anything done, and she can't work off of a concept, -SHIT FACED DRUNKEN PIRATE BASTARD- come to me, and I'll be able to throw some templates together for you.-FUCK FACE- Or if you need a steady hand to pierce anything then you can come to me for that too. the male licked his lips at the last sentence. There had to be nothing more he enjoyed than sticking a needle through someone's flesh. Rather it be because they want him to, or him just torturing some poor being.

He then realized that he had stopped working, so his bi-colored orbs moved back down onto the rabbit he had in his hand, and his other hand continued to glide under the skin, bringing it up (in one piece still) to where he could maybe make something out of the fur later (though he sucked at sewing). He continued to work at it though, his skills with the knife being almost artistic (the way he moved his wrists and hands around the skin) and almost being as if he did this all the time (which he did, but he normally discarded the fur after starting to sew them together and then messing up and ditching the whole product). The male was done with the first rabbit within a few minutes, and once he was finished, his ivory fingers put his skinned rabbit to the side, and the fur on the other, him being careful not to get blood on the ivory pelt before he set it down on the opposite side of him. He then started on his second rabbit. Going through the same as he did with the first one.

The girl was not waiting eagerly for his reaction. She had troubles seeing rodents the way the general population did. To her they could destroy and serve, but quite a few had wrinkled their noses when this particular hobby of hers was revealed. It was well done by the male to stay from mention the rodents losing their lives in his traps, although the majority of the rats were probably not hers. It was not hard to obtain more to amend her losses, but training them took time if she insisted on the creature to be obedient and somewhat dependable. His voice did not strike her as impressed, but then again she had never expected him to be. She could not see this coming as a real surprise to him though – not if he had ever been down in the cellar of the mansion where the two cages with killer rodents were located.

His answer was quite satisfying, and as he spoke she made it a mission to filter out his profanities as best she could. It would not help if she let her entire focus stray whenever he had an outburst. His range of abilities stretched further than hers, and her copper coated ears fell somewhat as she felt envy. The Lykoi star had hurt, but it was so beautiful. The thought of adding more ink on her body was not indelicate. Ruby eyes took in his pierced face and she tried to picture her own face with similar ornaments. She could not see it as an advantage in battle though; for such things could so easily be ripped out – or so she imagined. She was slightly surprised at where her thoughts had so quickly brought her, but it definitely lessened her desire for piercing her own flesh.

”Mm, tempting offer.,” the girl mumbled with a small smile, wondering what the hell should be her next tattoo in that case. She watched him in silence and let her mind drift off as he prepared the food.

Mm, tempting offer. the feo spoke, moments of silence flying by. He figured she didn't like to talk much. Or she was just shy because he was new. He didn't think she was shy. She didn't look it. His eyes were on the rabbit before he cleared his throat again and his right audit twitched back once before he looked up. "You guys wouldn't have any herbs lying around here? -SHIT-Or, I don't have to cook it, unless you want me to.." the male spoke, wondering if she even wanted her meal cooked or not. The male then let his eyes wander back down to the last rabbit, his hands carefully holding the fur to where he wouldn't get blood on it. The snow white pelts were delicate, and the pelts made good as a lining to another blanket. Sewing it would be awkward for the male, again him not being so good at sewing things. He was still trying at least.

I'd imagine that you were born here, since you have family in Inferni. -NYEHHH- Was it nice growing up here? How old are you, by the way? You seem young yourself. the male spoke, wondering how much older he was than she, or vice versa (though she looked very young to him). As soon as he was finishing up with the skinning, the male twitched his neck to the right, and made a grunting sound before he quickly fixed himself and looked to the corner of the kitchen to see a pile of logs. He then looked to the stove for a second. He moved quickly over to the logs, and placed some at the bottom of the stove, just in case she did want them cooked. In that case, he could just start up a fire and then cook on top of the stove with some pans that he found in the counters. He had cleaned them in the rain the day before when he had made some food, but the other day, he looked for herbs and couldn't find any, but he figured it wouldn't hurt to ask, just because she had been here longer than he. He wandered back over towards her and leaned up against the counter he had been skinning the rabbit on.

Halo had no ideas if there were any herbs about. She had always eaten her food raw. She knew well that some canines prepared their meals before consuming it, but she had never bothered about it. It was not that she was reluctant to try it out; she just had never thought of it when the prey was finally clutched tight between her jaws. She flashed yet another smile, though this time it was way more sincere than anything else she had come up with today. ”I’ve never tasted a cooked meal before!” she explained, expressing a desire to try something new this time. She had not really spent an awful lot of time in the kitchen. She started opening drawers and cupboards, determined to find herbs. There were random hermetic food and the usual objects one can usually find in a kitchen, but she did not see any herbs. There were however bottled spices and herbs in one of the cupboards she opened, but she was clearly looking for something else, not really knowing how these herbs that the male wanted looked like.

Ears flattened as if mood swinging when the male went on and wanted to know more about her. Ah, she wished it could have been that simple and painless. ”Actually I was born far north of here. My father, however, was born in the original Inferni, but he became weak and betrayed the clan.” She was showing him trust by revealing her pathetic father. That surely had to count for something? ”My three brothers and I came here around one year ago,” she went on as she kept rummaging through the kitchen – though no longer searching for anything, really. ”but I’m the only one left here now, so yeah..” The thought of being all alone was somewhat heavy, but was that not what she wished these days? It would have been so good to have an extra pair of shoulders to cry on after what happened in Halifax. Jael had always been the most stable of them. He would have known what to say. There was no one she could confide into. Samael was Kaena’s son and Gabriel’s brother. She was all alone.

”I turned a year back in Autumn, so I’m not that old yet,” she smiled, pushing the lack of close family members topic temporarily away. ”What about you?” she now asked, turning the focus over to him as she tried not to feel too useless.

I’ve never tasted a cooked meal before! the female spoke, a smile finally sincere enough for Cotl to respond in the same way. There was probably part of the female whom was so innocent, and sweet, but the clan could have hardened her mentally to where she would give of the look of hostility. It was the same way for Cotl. He could be a ravaged beast, and then he could turn around and be totally hospitable and kind. With her words, he traveled back over to the stove and lit it with his lighter. He worked with the fire alittle bit, blowing on it to get it started, and once it was strong enough, he closed the door to the fire pit and then placed a pan on top of the stove, figuring he might as well just sear the rabbit since he didn't have any oil to grease up the pan with. He also figured the rabbit would make it's own oil for it to cook in. He put only one rabbit in the pan, and let it sit there before she spoke again. Actually I was born far north of here. My father, however, was born in the original Inferni, but he became weak and betrayed the clan she spoke to him. Her father was a traitor. The clan was merciful it seemed then. Letting a traitor's daughter fester within the clan. Then again, he figured they couldn't reject her because she was family to both Gabriel and Kaena. He guessed you shouldn't be held responsible for your parents stupid actions. He stayed silent, as if to wait for her to finish before he commented on anything. My three brothers and I came here around one year ago, but I’m the only one left here now, so yeah. she continued. "You have family here still though, so they count too. You just don't have immediate family here. -FUCKING WHORE- I didn't know your father, nor your siblings, so I can't say much about them, except for it sucks that it happened like that." he spoke, shrugging lightly, his eyes going to the rabbit that was in the skillet for a second, and then returning to her.

I turned a year back in Autumn, so I’m not that old yet, What about you? she wanted to switch topics, which was completely fine with him. Turned two in October. I'm only a year older. he spoke, smiling lightly at his own accomplishment, though she was a work of art herself, even without additions to er body. He wouldn't mind making some modifications. The male let his mind wander for a moment, as well as his eyes, trying to find out what really he could imagine on her. He stopped at her chaos star before looking to her shoulder opposite of the tattoo. He could imagine a flower patch stretching from her shoulder to her hip. Starting on the back, and twisting onto her side. You know, I can imagine a beautiful piece of art, starting at your shoulder, and stretching to your hip and maybe a little bit lower?-HERPES MONSTER!- It would be of a beautiful field of flowers, blood tipping the flower's petals and leaves. It would be orgasmic. he spoke, offering the idea to her, seeing what she thought about the male's random thought. He then walked back over to the skillet, and moved it left and right, unsticking it from the bottom of the pan. He figured it'd be a hassle to cook it all the way through, so he only really planned on them being pink in the middle still. He didn't want to burn the skin to where it was a crisp anyways, that's why he wanted to take them off early.

He then looked back at her. What do ya' think? the male asked, a clear of his throat following afterward.

Her ears swivelled and were followed by the turn of her face as the sizzling sound of the meat in the pan sounded. Her ruby eyes widened only a little as she watched the male do something he had done many times before. As Cotl spoke she let her gaze rise to re-establish eye contact again. She could only nod at his words – this was true. They did count in a way, but she needed someone more closely connected to her than to Samael in order to rid her heart of the horrible ache. She was uncertain how to treat his words. Was he somewhat trying to offer her some sympathy? Her facial expression turned softer, realizing that she silently agreed – thinking it actually did suck how it all happened. Vitium had deceived his children and her siblings had betrayed her. Even Samael had betrayed her, though she saw it more as her own fault. She had caused him to lose control and she had let it all happen.

”Perhaps, but as you say: I have family here still, so they count too.” She loved Kaena endlessly and held a large amount of respect for Gabriel; the man that had let her in despite her bad genes. Two was not at all far away, and compared to other members of the clan, she realized that Cotl was quite close to her in age seen from that point of view. She stayed silent as his eyes seemed to wander across her features. The girl was surprised to find her cheeks redden slightly in response. The fact that the blush came involuntarily at such a trivial little thing caused embarrassment to sting deeper. This was not her at all. Hadn’t she always loved it when people looked at her and gave her beautifully formed body the attention it deserved? Thankfully he let her know what his mind had been busy doing, and she tried to push the embarrassment away and listen openly to his words instead.

Her ears folded backwards in thought as she tried to imagine a field of blood tainted flowers. There were no flowers. Only thick, dark blood covering the ground. Flesh and intestines ripped apart and spread around the scene. The stench of death weighting the air down. She swallowed heavily and turned her face away. No, horrible memories were blocking out the field of flowers. Her jaws tightened visibly and she nodded, pretending to imagine this. His words had made it sound lovely and she adored lovely things. While she was rather reluctant to attach anything large and permanent to her body, she would have wished to try it out. ”It would be rather frightening to try out such a large design without knowing how it would look first.” She was uncertain of how to form the words – for she did not want to offend him in anyway or reject his idea. ”Is there any way to make it temporary and not permanent, perhaps?” She stepped closer again, though still on that same, safe distance as she watched the meat go from red to brown.

OOC: you make it or did someone else makes it?

Norm life baby "we're rehabbed and we're ready for our 15 minutes of shame."
Norm life baby "we're talkshow and we're pointing just like Christians at a suicide."
You and I are under-dosed and we're ready to fall
Raised to be stupid, taught to be nothing at all
I don't like the drugs but the drugs like me
I don't like the drugs, the drugs, the drugs

Cotl kept his eyes on her, often switching to look at the meat, but knowing that it would not be done for quite some time. She silently agreed with him. He figured that he'd probably feel the same way if his father had done the same, rather than just peddling him off to some insane warlock coyote whom was useful until the end of his days. No, Cotl hadn't killed the poor bastard, rather an enemy had done so. Cotl had been there to see the bloodbath, it was a glorious battle, and his master told him to stay out of it. Cotl honored the man's word and did not move a muscle until the enraged enemy had gone ahead and tried to attack him. This battle too was glorious, though Cotl did not succeed in killing the older male, just injuring him enough to where he wouldn't possibly think to go back and fight the male again. Cotl did not play games when it came to fighting. He was serious, and deadly, though often times he was merciful. He couldn't help but have that nagging feeling in the back of his head about killing for his own amusement. It was the voice that told him that he didn't want to do it. But then there was the side that tells him to continue. Half the time, the nicer choice was chosen. Though, he could torture someone for eternity and not even think twice. It was just the whole killing part that would sometimes freak him out. Perhaps, but as you say: I have family here still, so they count too. she spoke, and he nodded his head lightly to her.

It seemed to him that she was thinking about the design before actually saying anything about it. His pierced brow cocked as he awaited her answer. When it came, it was something rather precautionary on her part. It would be rather frightening to try out such a large design without knowing how it would look first. the feo spoke. Cotl was about to tell her when she spoke again. Is there any way to make it temporary and not permanent, perhaps? she asked. Cotl nodded his head and finally was able to speak again. "I could sketch it on paper for you... -FUCK HEAD- Or I could draw it on you, but I'd have to shave down the area first as if I really was going to tattoo it there. " he suggested two ways for him to do such a design. One being slightly more intimate than the other. He would have to accurately draw the feo, so he would have to have her pose for him abit for him to draw her and her tattoo if she wanted the sketches, and if she wanted to have it on her, then he would be actually touching her, feeling her body that was actually very beautiful. She was a beautiful specimen, it seemed as if the Lykoi blood was good on the females. He had only met one of the males of the lykoi line, so he was unsure if Gabriel was the only good looking one or not. (Mind you, this is in a total "no-homo" way. Cotl is all about them ladies)

It's a Kiritar! I just haven't gotten around to add credits yet D:

Face filled with contentment as he introduced the opportunity to see the art on a paper. The thought of having to shave down the area where the tattoo would be applied was frightening though. The unease was hidden away before it could establish a base in her ruby eyes. Why she felt such discomfort at the thought was beyond her though. She did not like having such nerves. Samael was the guilty one, not Cotl. Why did she feel such fear at this thought? The young Lykoi still did not know how deep the damage had dug into her when her uncle had raped her. ”I’d like to see the design on the paper.” she said, adding some sugar into her tone. For now the girl believed that she would be so lucky to see the design on paper without having to do anything. She knew little of how designs were made and how they were fitted – she was rather blue eyed on this area. Her copper and black tail danced contently behind her.

I’d like to see the design on the paper she spoke after she seemed to think for a second. While she had been thinking, Cotl had taken back to the rabbit that had been cooking for a good few minutes now, and he took it out of the pan and put it to the side before sliding the next one into the pan and letting it sit there. When she answered with what she wanted to do, he nodded his head, and thought about it for a minute. He needed to get a sketch pad from Halifax, or maybe he could rip a page out of one of his books and just draw on that. He didn't know what to do right at the moment, but he figured that he'd figure it out when he was out gathering supplies again.

He looked back at her and smiled. "Not a problem at all.- FICKEN SCHEISS- I just will have to take a trip to halifax first, sooo, I should have it done in a few days. If I finish it while you are out, then I will put it under your door to your room." the male spoke, telling her what he would do. "But also...before anything else..-FUCKING SHITHEAD ASS BASTARD- Do you have anything to trade?" the male asked, wondering what she might have to offer for a trade of his skill. Nothing good never came without a price, now did it?

Cotl then looked back at the rabbit, kindof wishing that it didn't take this long to sear. The heat wasn't going to get any hotter, so he couldn't make it cook quicker. He sighed lightly to himself as he watched it. Random Question, but Do you know how to ride a horse? he asked, tilting his head towards her.

Happiness was displayed on her features as he spoke now. While she had wanted to brush away the thought at first, his optimism and confidence about the tattoo he thought would suit her so well. While she was still uncertain and afraid to disenchant her body’s beauty by adding too much to it, there couldn’t be anything bad about showing interest, surely. All she had said yes to was to see his design on a piece of paper. Who knew, perhaps she would actually end up liking it. She looked at the male, all piercings and with his fresh and currently not too good looking skull tattoo. She knew that Kaena’s hand was stable and strong when she tattooed and when with time and healing and cleansing his skull would be lovely – though it was a design she would never in the world have wanted on her body, not would she have liked it to be right on the stomach. Perhaps it fitted him though. She cocked her head slightly and let a few fingers play absently with her dark copper hair as she watched him. He looked quite like the tough guy and his accent was hard with German when he spoke – and not to forget to mention the horrific words and phrases that boomed strongly in the middle of random sentences. It had happened once or twice now that the profanities spoken out loud had tempted out a smile on her lips, for some of them were a bit funny.

As for something to trade? Well.. Eyes widened ever so slightly and for a moment she seemed threatened by his large form. A trade? Then her eyes lighted up like two ruby flares against the dark night sky. Of course she had a trade. Her fingers dispatched from her silky hair and patted the bone necklace she was wearing – it still needed a second tooth to become complete in her own opinion, but all spare space was filled up with bones from a canine’s tail – carefully polished and made into approximately same size, so unless he was her he would only see a well done necklace that held good quality. Halo spent uncountable hours making her accessories, because she always strived for perfection. She could have dyed them and come up with exciting colours, but she preferred her work to look somewhat natural. When the necklace had been in the spotlight long enough her hand lifter higher to stroke the little fragment skull that she had turned into a smart hair ornament. It helped keep her wealthy hair out from her eyes and it did not look bad at all. Finally her free hand rose and she showed off the bracelet, which too was made out of bones. Her skill was not limited to bones, but this was what she preferred working with. She had a large variety of trinkets upstairs in her room that she had made out of the skeletons of some of her deceased killer rodents.

”I make jewellery. I quite like working with bones and parts of animal skeletons, but I can do everything.” Well, perhaps not everything, but as long as she had what was needed to create something beautiful the results usually were beautiful. She felt a bit uncertain though, because she knew that not all males fancied such things. It was one of the few skills she had except for the rodent training and some fighting skills. She wished she could have more to offer. His random question was served as she stood there wondering about her skills and her eyes stared emptily at the man for a moment before she found sense in his words. She never understood why someone would ride a horse instead of eating it. The thought was exciting in a sense, but those who rode horses and refused to run on their own feet would find that their strength faded with time. She was intrigued though, this she could not deny. ”No, I’ve barely ever seen a horse in my life,” the girl said with a small portion of shyness as the side dish. She had seen his horse every now and then when she had gazed out of the window, but she had not seen it up close. Never thought of asking either, but this was their first meeting after all, so it was obvious why she had not asked.

I make jewelry. I quite like working with bones and parts of animal skeletons, but I can do everything she spoke, showing off the many things that she had on before hand. He had noticed them briefly, but he hadn't been too concerned of them, mainly because he was too focused on her rather than her jewelry. He relooked them over. He then turned his attention to his own two leather bands that he had found in Germany at some point. They had studs on them and were rather beat up looking considering that he had been basically through hell and back with these on. Cotl then looked to her again, and wondered what kind of jewelry he could get from her. He doubted that the necklace she had on would look good around his neck, but he knew that it would have to be a necklace because he already had bracelets, and he really didn't want anything else on his arms.

Maybe she could think about something that would look good on him. It couldn't hurt to ask. He didn't speak before she did though, simply because she had gotten him thinking about what kind of jewelry would look good on him at this point in time. No, I’ve barely ever seen a horse in my life she had spoken to him, which pulled him out of his mind. He had wondered if she had wanted to see Maschine at some time, and maybe look at his tattoo to verify his talent. "I'm sure you've seen Maschine. -FUCKING MORBID CLOWN FUCKERS!- Though, if you would like to see my work, I can show you what I have done to Maschine's face.." he spoke, motioning that they should descend outside after they were done with their lunch. Speaking of that, Cotl had finished the second one and moved onto the third one. He held the cooler one towards her, just so she wouldn't burn herself with the one that just got out of the pan. Here you are. Enjoy it. he spoke, not being effected by the profanities, but being plagued with his throat clearing

Also, what kind of jewelry do you think would look good on me? -I'm not much of the accessorizer-IF YOU WANT JESUS, THEN FUCK ME- myself, as you can see. the male spoke, holding up his only two accessories that he wore. I was thinking a necklace,-NYEH- but I doubt one like yours would be attractive on me. he spoke, profanities replaced with a dramatic twitch of his neck and head that only moments later were alright. He looked back to the last rabbit and flipped it before he touched the other one that had just come out to see if he could start to eat that one yet. It was still pretty hot, so he let it sit for a minute. Go ahead and eat yours, I want mine to cool down a bit. his throat cleared again.

" Cotl is talking!"

The young woman saw his gaze leave her and fall on his own wrists. Her eyes followed and she was puzzled by her lack of attention to the accessories he was already wearing; for she had not noticed until now. The style of his was not new though she was not very accustomed to it. She wanted to investigate the leather and the studs attached to them; how it was made. As if reading his mind, the copper coated Lykoi doubted her own style would fit him. His style was harsher, and she would almost go as far to call it a bit hostile by its appearance. Of course it fitted the German. It shouldn’t be all too hard to attempt to match his general style if she just got some time to scavenge Halifax in search for the right equipment. It would be interesting to try something new; she had not paid this particular trade much attention the last months after she had found her swords and everything bad had happened. Her gaze moved to the food; her sense of scent starting to truly distract her. She knew this scent; the scent of hot, prepared meat, though it had always been someone else having their meals. Today it was finally her turn to try it out. Although she had little interest in food beyond the fact that her body needed nutrition, she was looking forward to the meal.

Maschine was obviously his horse and her eyes narrowed in quiet interest when he said that he could show her what he had done to the horse’s face. His work? Did that mean that he had tattooed the animal? Still the girl had issues thinking of the animal as anything but an easy meal that was too stupid to run away. Suddenly she was given a whole rabbit piece and she could not prevent beaming satisfaction from entering her face. Was he giving her this much? She accepted the piece, smiling as she did. ”Thank you, Cotl.” The meat was different; easier to chew and separate and strange in taste. The woman chewed slowly and let her taste buds take in the new, unusual flavour. She found the taste to be slightly more neutral; the natural salty taste provided by hot blood soaking through the meat absent. She did not dislike the taste, though she thought this was a taste she would have to get used to. With spices to add more flavour to the meat, the girl’s opinion of the meal would have been different, but this was something she had yet to discover.

She nibbled away on her rabbit and allowed silence to settle after the male’s new question where his interrupting voice told Jesus that he could be fucked. She shook her head as her fellow clan-members said that he doubted that a necklace like hers would fit him. She fully agreed at that. Halo’s necklace was elegant and fitting for a female her size. She had taken forever making it so that it would fit her perfectly in every way. Many seemed to be able to just pick a human necklace and decide that it suited them, but Halo put so much more effort into personalizing the items she made, both for her and others. The ornaments made of rat bones upstairs lacked soul because they had not been designed for any owner. ”This meat is good.” the female announced to the male, determined to let him know that her silence did not necessarily mean that she did not like the taste. ”I’d like to see your Maschine afterwards then,” she added very late, switching the topic back to his four legged friend outside.

Thank you, Cotl. her maw gracefully let the words from her maw. Her eyes and face brightened up when he had given her the rabbit. He was a generous being, especially since he had so much food to spare at the moment, even though he could have just saved it for himself for later. It didn't matter though, because he wasn't a greedy bastard. The woman smiled at him, and finally let out a full-hearted smile to the feo. He had no reason to be sour with the feo, she had been one of the only canines to not really persist about knowing what exactly was wrong with him, and he appreciated it. Cotl was watching her with his cold eyes though, them still remaining that same cold gaze that it always was, though his lips were twisted still in the smile. He watched her movements because he had to draw her now, and he really needed to get every aspect of her appearance for him to be able to make it look like her. You ask, "Why would he waste his time drawing her as well if all she wanted to see was the tattoo?" Well, Cotl was particular about his artwork. Plus, Cotl had to admit that this woman was beautiful. He wanted to draw her as well, so she could see how beautiful she was in art-form. Plus, He figured she'd appreciate it in some way. Perhaps treasure it. "Bitteschön." the male answered in his home language, not bothering to even explain what he had said. It was because he was still used to the folks in Germany speaking both German and English to him. He had treated this new place as his home, and his home before here was riddled with 'yotes and wolves whom spoke both German and English.

She shook her head as his statement about her necklace not fitting him. She agreed, which was good, though she had failed to respond to his question about what might look good on him. One of his pierced audits fell back lightly before she had spoken to him about the meat. This meat is good. she spoke, nibbling away at it. He nodded his head and smiled again to her. "I'm glad you-HEY HOE, FUCK YOU- like it." the male spoke to the feo, the soft smile still on his maw as he again, touched his rabbit and tested the heat on it. He didn't eat it yet though, instead he turned to the pan that the cooking rabbit was on, and he flipped it over on it's other side so it could cook some more. I’d like to see your Maschine afterwards then. she added on, speaking about Maschine. He nodded his head. He didn't know if she'd like the tattoo, but her grandmother seemed to be rather... impressed by just the outline of the skull on the horse's face. Kaena had also seen him color in and then later shade it as well, and so she had seen the finished product as well, and complimented the male ten fold on the job he had accomplished on the horse's face. I'm sure Maschine would love to meet a beautiful young woman as well. -FUCKIN DOLPHIN RAPIST- I'm sure he'll enjoy meeting you. Ja.. the male seemed to be babbling on alittle bit before he took his rabbit and took a few big bites out of it. He did not take small bites like she, for he had already known the taste, and he never really took his time while eating, simply because he never felt like he had the time to sit there and just dine like that. He just didn't couldn't do it like she had been doing. Nibbling wasn't in Cotl's dictionary.

Cotl munched on his rabbit, the taste of the kill was filling his maw, making him salivate, though not enough for it to be pouring out of his mouth or anything like that. He was quick to demolish the rabbit though, the male eating off all the meat he could get from the rabbit's skeleton. He did not eat the skeleton though, just because he didn't like to eat the bones. When they came out the other end, it never failed to make him bleed. So he wasn't going to deal with that. Probably never again since the first time it happened. The male looked to the rabbit on the skillet yet again, thinking it was probably finished by now, but he decided to let it stay on for a little bit longer, just because he figured that it being a little bit over seared wouldn't hurt it. He let it sit there while he munched on his rabbit, picking the bones to get every last piece of meat off of it before he would discard the skeleton, though, he didn't know if Halo might have wanted some of the bones, so she could make some jewelry or whatnot. As he licked his lips, he looked towards her and then decided to bring up the question she had failed to answer before. So I'm taking it as a "no" that you can't think-BANSHEE!- of anything that would look good on me.
