<p>Make sure to check out the official news post on the subject for a broader and more specific overview. CdM is, unfortunately, the closest to the impact and will not go unscathed from the fireball that has come crashing through the sky and into the sea. The Court will face one of its more terrifying events and if it hopes to survive, its members must join together to rise out of the debris. </p>

<h2>Damage to the Court</h2>
<p>Our proximity to the impact site means that there has been a great stir and shakedown to the pack. The following is a list of the various issues your character ought to experience. Threads are encouraged to address the event and begin the transition of the pack. But don't worry, some good has come out of this otherworldly destruction. </p>

<h3>Seismic</h2>
The major seismic shaking will arrive approximately 40 seconds after impact.
<ul>
<li>Loose objects should expect to fall and tumble, books overturn, chairs rattle and fall, glass more likely to break and some windows do break from the shaking. </li>
<li>Felt by all, many frightened. Some heavy furniture moved; a few instances of fallen plaster. Damage slight. </li>
<li>Damage negligible in buildings of good design and construction; slight to moderate in well-built ordinary structures; considerable damage in poorly built or badly designed structures; some chimneys broken. Expect roofs and walls to collapse in long neglected houses. <ul><li>Half of Lunenburg has collapsed from the shaking alone</li><li>The rest of the fourth floor of the Hotel has fully collapsed and is now no longer accessible at all. The third floor is partially damaged and habitation is no longer recommended. Several windows have cracked.</li><li>The Shattered Coast has succombed to the violent shaking and there is great damage to the cliffs. The now reduced shore is considered highly dangerous with unstable rock.</li></ul></ul>
<h3>Air Blast & Tidal Waves</h3>
The air blast will arrive approximately 10.1 minutes after impact. The sound is akin to loud traffic. Max wind velocity: 58.4 m/s = 131 mph
<ul>
<li>Wood frame buildings will almost completely collapse. If the earthquakes do not bring down these wood buildings, the air blast will likely ensure that shaky wood structures collapse entirely.</li>
<li>Glass windows will shatter. All of Lunenburg and the Hotel's windows have shattered. Glass stored inside and out of the blast are more likely to survive unless exposed.</li>
<li>About 30 percent of trees blown down; remainder have some branches and leaves blown off.</li></ul>

The impact-generated tsunami wave arrives approximately 1.4 hours after impact. Tsunami wave amplitude is between: 6.3 meters ( = 20.7 feet) and 12.6 meters ( = 41.4 feet). The coasts will be dangerous and expect severe flooding in any and all water systems.
<h3>Thermal Radiation</h3>
<p>While humans would suffer from second degree burns if caught outside, any canines caught outside will experience extreme heat that may singe fur. It will also be unpleasantly warm for those inside. </p>

<p>To accommodate all the problems that this monstrous fireball has caused, the pack has shifted and moved slightly from the damaged and lost coast. With Rabbit Lake expanded greatly, the Court has taken part of its shore as a buffer and moved closer to the lake in the Ethereal Eclipse. The map shows the change in the territory. Some areas have also been completely destroyed and will be officially removed from the territory listings. Please see the map for all changes. The website & wiki will be updated gradually to reflect these differences.</p>

<p>Each prompt is worth 20 game points. They are entirely optional.</p>

<li><b>Fire in the Sky</b> - Your day is going pretty well and you notice that the menacing star in the sky is suddenly not so small. Watch the descent with someone else and try to avoid panic. Maybe find shelter. </li>
<li><b>Our New Land</b> - After the disaster, the King has staked land for the Court in light of the loss of much of the coast. Explore this new area, maybe the shore of the now larger Rabbit Lake.</li>
<li><b>Broken Glass</b> - Once the soundwave has come and gone, shattered glass lays everywhere, as well as other debris. Find a way to clean up or utilize all the damaged goods. </li>
<li><b>What We Miss</b> - Take the time to try to clean up your goods, to find the things that have been shaken loose, and right things back to how they were before.</li>
<li><b>Everything is Different</b> - Go to a <a href="http://cdm.soulsrpg.com/territory/">subterritory</a> that once stood in the Court and see how it has changed, or if it even still stands. </li>
