It's time for another game!! Below is a list of 30 words we think are very cool. (Or maybe there's a secret message in there? Hmm.) Can you use all of them??? Choose a challenge that best fits your hectic life!
How it Works
Straight A Student
Use each daily word in a post that day and win a cute little icon and a snazzy custom title!
Notes:- The Word of the Day should be used on that day.
- Exception: the first word can be used on either April 1st or April 2nd and still count as "day of."
- There are no extra points for using a word multiple times or in multiple posts.
- Unlike its evil cousin Wordtober, plurals and variations on a root word ARE accepted -- so you can use "superstitious" instead of "superstition."
Ace the Finals
Use each daily word by the end of that week for a cute little icon!
Notes:- For the purposes of this challenge, the week ends on Saturday.
- Words 1-3 are due end of the day April 3rd
- Words 4-10 are due end of the day April 10th
- Words 11-17 are due end of the day April 17th
- Words 18-24 are due end of the day April 24th
- Words 25-30 are due end of the day April 30th
- Each post can only have one word that "counts."
- That means if you have a single post and happen to include 5 words on the list, only one of those words can count for that post.
Passing Score
Use each daily word by the end of the month for a snazzy new custom title!
Notes:- Each post can only have one word that "counts."
- That means if you have a single post and happen to include 5 words on the list, only one of those words can count for that post.
- That means you need a minimum of 30 posts this month!
Icon and title prizes will be awarded to OOC accounts.

Participate!
- Copy and paste the word list in a reply to this thread.
- Please clearly indicate which challenge you're participating in!
- As the month progresses, update your post to link each word to the post that contains it.
- Please clearly indicate the word used in your post either by bolding it or underlining it.
- Remember, all 'Souls events and contests operate on EASTERN (currently, Daylight) TIME.
Overachievers are welcome to link some kind of fancy spreadsheet concoction, but this is certainly not required!
Bonus!
Not enough word nerd fun for you? There's always our traditional and perpetually ongoing Word of the Day, where you can use the Word of the Day from either (or both!) Merriam-Webster or Dictionary.com.
Using traditional Word of the Days this month will count for double! And remember, you can use those words in multiple posts in a day for even more points, but you do need to use them on that day!
It's fine to use a standard WotD word in the same post as an April Word, but each word can still only count once per post. (E.g. It's fine to use the April Word, the M-W WotD, and the Dictionary.com WotD in a single post. This will count for the Spring Forth! challenge and net you 4 WotD points (2 each for the M-W word and the Dictionary.com word).)
