We were discussing things in Salsola's Server, and I brought up the fact that I thought it was interesting that, currently, the forum has more Male played characters in every group category compared to Female played characters. Mel wondered what it might look like if NPCs were included, and so I decided to find out xD I originally posted this in just SL's chat, but, was encouraged to share the info with the rest of y'all too!

I love these statsssssss. This also reminded me I've been having Game Stats auto dump data into a table for almost a year now. This is data from 3/10/2021. Stats record roughly daily. (It triggers at most once a day when someone looks at Game Stats, but some days no one looks at GS.)

These are stats for played characters only, since they're from Game Stats.



Interesting to see the twice-a-year surge in pups? Will def be neat to see whether we have actual puppy seasons over time. :o



The "more males than females" trend has held for a long, long time, much longer than this data shows. Wonder if this trend holds up at other RPGs. :o

I am also curious if the "more male characters" stat is true in other RPGs!

The puppy surge is neat too -- I know we generally see "boom" periods after SoSu, but seeing more being played during the summer is interesting. That's probably near/at shifting time in our game, so that might factor into why those are picked up more.
