OOC: Marked M because possibility of stuff. Sedona's wearing her cowboy hat, that's all. :) Foredated to ehhhh??? WC: 451

IC: With a visible shiver, the coydog shook her pelt free of the clinging snow and wiped her paws on the mat of the busy saloon entry way. The place was cacophonous, bustling and smelled of booze, tobacco, lust and a variety of other scents the cowgirl couldn't put her finger on. Yellow-green eyes scanned the patrons, some clustered around a large table, hollering bets and groaning when their wagers failed. Others sat nursing drinks or chatting animatedly with other visiting traders or local Ashen. With a tired smile, Sedona pushed her way through the milling bodies and made her way towards the bar.

Taking a place at the far end of the counter she leaned against it, placing her elbows on the smoothed surface and chanced a glance down at her distorted reflection. She frowned. She was so used to seeing her red bandanna around her neck, and her face unmarred by the freakish slashes that were now permanently scarring the right side of her visage. She sighed heavily and looked away, she didn't need the dark thoughts and reminders of the attack coming flooding back to her right now. Although it was suddenly loud, her ears only slightly perked as more shouts and jeers came from the gamblers table behind her. While she didn't really understand the rules of gambling, she did know it was an easy way to lose your valuables.

Lacing her fingers together, the Whitesage woman's thought returned to the reason she'd traveled all this way. She'd come to escape the fact that she was unhappy in her mateship. Sineria just wasn't able to fulfill her needs any more. He was trying so hard to please her, but it...just wasn't enough. He was too young, to inexperienced. He was too immature and relied to heavily on her. She couldn't take being the only one providing for them, the only one doing most of the work. No, it was time for her to move on. Staring hard down at her paws, ears splayed, the woman felt her stomach flip flop with guilt. She didn't know how she was going to break it off with him. She knew the young wolf would be devastated. And she didn't know how he'd react. The last time she'd come close to leaving him, he'd exploded and even tried hurting himself...

Sighing once more, tears threatening her eyes Sedona hunched herself up in her little corner of the bar. Trying to figure out the conflicting emotions she felt. She didn't know what her future held now. Just that she needed to get away from the problem and clear her head somehow. Coming to Del Cenere seemed like a good place to start. ...Maybe?
