Zuri had been pleased that Malfoy was willing to watch over the quieter child while she took the one that had much more energy out for a late night swim. Of course, it would be impossible for any of them to actually touch the stars that hung in the night sky, but it was a nice thought that for a child, she might be able to be with them for just this night.

She was more than certain that Baelish would not be fond of the idea of their children having the same messed up sleep schedule that their mother had. Then again, given what damage the sun could do to her pale skin and fur, it was much easier to either stay in the shade, or just rest the day away.

The pale woman had removed her dress and necklace, allowing the cool waters to take her over before she offered her arms out to her young daughter. To get at all the stars, they were going to have to go deeper into the lake. The older woman would be able to stand in some of the deeper reaches, and this would give Zansa the chance to learn some swimming while she was out with her.

The golden girl looked up to her uncle when he spoke to her. She seemed to look down, not saying anything as he thought on his question. What did she find fun? A lot of her time was either spent with her sister or being at her mother's side. There wasn't a whole lot that seemed to speak of her and her alone. Ears pulled back slightly to this as she spoke up, "I don't know. I like doing whatever Mom and Zansa are doing."

Zuri turned her head briefly to her second daughter. She knew it would probably be harder for Zelda to find her place, but there was no doubt in her mind that the quiet child would find something to grab a hold of. All of them did at one point and time in their lives.

Zansa's arms splashed about in the water, getting her mother a couple of times in the face as her paws moved over the tiny lights reflecting on the surface.

Malfoy chuckled lightly at the reply "Well that's okay, sometimes it takes time to figure that kind of thing out." Now, what did he do? Huffing a light sigh he moved and lay on his stomach, supporting his head with his arms and hands. "You know, I didn't always know what I liked either...it wasn't until last winter that I started to figure it out..." he looked to the young girl. "Just saying...it's okay if it takes a long time to find the thing that makes you happy." He smiled warmly and then reached out to rub her head.

The grey male had to admit that this was nice. Maybe he would be able to spend more time with his nieces if he ever got a handle on his schedule for the day. Until then he supposed he should make use of the time now. Looking around he spotted a light bug and got up. Moving carefully he snuck on the insect and then caught it in his paws, making sure not to squish it. Moving back to Zelda he opened his hands and let her look at the bug that lit up as it crawled on his fingers before taking flight again.

Zelda, for the most part, had kept her attention on her mother and sister as they moved through the water. It was nice seeing both of them having fun with one another. Her orange gaze moved up when her uncle began to speak. Both of them had such a familiar gaze about one another, Baelish having passed that piece down to his quiet child. Zansa had been the one to get most of his looks to be sure, but she had his eyes.

The mother, being as rare as she was, could not say that she contributed all that much to her children. Anything she contributed would be more off her family line than anything else.

The golden child kept her focus on the man at her side as he spoke about it being alright that it took time for her to figure out the kinds of things that she would like to do. Both of them were still young, and no doubt that while Zansa would push ahead of her sister, there was no doubt that she would be left behind still wondering what to do. But, his words had brought a smile to her face. Maybe she was just more like her uncle than anyone else in her family.

It brought comfort that she now knew someone that not only might be able to help her out, but that she could better relate to. She kept her smile, head perking up when her uncle caught the bug, showing it to her before it flew off.

Zuri's head turned, watching the way that her golden daughter interacted with Melfoy. It was charming, and although the man had admitted to her that he had little interest in the opposite sex, it was clear he was still good with children to some level. Perhaps sometime in the future he would find a way to have ones of his own.

There were ways around such a union, and that was something she knew all too well, but that was his own business, not her's.

Turning her attention back to the darker child, she kept hitting the water with her front paws, only to see the stars still in the same place when the ripples began to fade. That sure didn't seem to stop her from trying again, and with more determination than the first time she hit the surface of the water. Shifting her daughter to one arm, the pale woman stretched out her own free arm, fingers dancing along the surface of the water.

How calm and relaxing this evening was. She was happy to be able to share it with her family.
