Your Character's Desired Tier: Medic
Your Character's cNPCs or yNPCs: Adrian Raven-Shadowryn
Your Character's Animal NPCs:

A group of creatures walked towards Anathema's border. Leading a grey mare was a small silver female. She was foxlike with her large tail and narrow muzzle, but her large ears and non-tapering muzzle marked her as a jackal. She wore a silver long-sleeved mini-dress with a hood and a pair of leggings covering her long legs. A packed satchel hung over her shoulder and mismatched green eyes stared ahead.

Beside her was a slightly taller woman. She was dark-furred and had dove grey stocking. The similar body shape made her seem related to the female next to her but she had more muscle. She was dressed in a white hooded tunic and a pair of black leggings. Slung over her back was a filled knapsack and on her forearm was a black peregrine falcon. A pair of mismatched purple eyes looked out towards the unfamiliar territory.

Perched on the mare's saddle were three young foxes. Sitting on the packed saddlebags was a smoke and onyx fox with black legs, tail, and face. One silver eye showed from the black face on the left side was an empty socket. In front of the silver fox was a light-hued grey fox with fawn markings and pretty lilac eyes. She was draped over the saddle and looking curiously at the unknown lands before them. In front of the female was a larger grey fox with ash-colored fur and vibrant copper markings. Dark sapphire orbs darted around excitedly as he trembled with energy. At the silver girl's legs was an elegant grey and black tabby with vibrant blue eyes. She was sleek and had an intelligent look to her. And then two birds lighted down on a stump next to the group. A large crow cawed loudly, announcing his presence and a barn owl just cooed a hello.

Avinalora would have never imagined this. Just four moons ago she had been standing at a border, howling for someone to welcome her in. She would have never imagined in that short time the only home she had known would be lost. It broke her heart when Skana had announced that Midnight Shores had disbanded. Now she was starting over, at a new pack and starting a new life.

When she had first joined the island pack, it was very different. Her adopted brother, Jarix had been with her along with their horse, Jasper. But her friend had gone on a trading trip and taken the pack horse with him. She didn't have her fox kits with her either, it was just her, Onyx, Tyler, Eclipse, Jasper, and Jarix. But now she had Ellwyn, a horse that she had selected from the stables. A horse that was gentle and calm, who's eyes were different colored like her own.

Adrian had only been a part of Midnight Shores for three months and she was shocked that it had fallen. She still wondered where the search party had gone. What had happened to them? Why didn't they find their bodies? She wished that the Creo had become leader, she missed the forests and towns of Prince Edward's Island. Cobalt had also gone with her sister's brother as a protector and business partner on the trip. The amethyst-eyed lass wondered when they'd be back.

Anathema seemed like a good place to join. It was close to the medic's old haunts: Colchester Quarter, the Dampwoods, and Wentworth Valley. She had met several Anathemans, Nyx and Lux who were very nice people. This would be a good place to start over. She knew that they had a bad reputation but the people she had met were nice and she would join them.

The moon-washed maiden glanced at the former assassin. "Are you ready?" She asked everyone. A chorus of yes filled the air. And then with a nod, both jackals howled.

Welcome dear!

Winter was certainly upon them as Aeron rode atop Elzar. Around her was wrapped bear fur as she struggled to grow a decent winter coat. Briston rode beside her one of the communal mares. He was a hard worker and she was very glad to have him at her side. dont doddle the sooner we finish the round the sooner we get by a fire. the golden woman spoke as she smiled.

Briston nodded as he urged forward the horses making their travel easier. Ears tilted forward as she looked to the north. Well well we have certainly become rather popular as of late. She commented as Briston chuckled. It would seem so my Angela. It's thanks to your leadership we have grown again. Aeron smiled as she urged her stallion forward.

Its not just me Briston it's all of us. Thanks to you and Evangeline, Lelouch, Nyx the others you all have rebuilt our home. she stated as she let a call ring out telling the other they were on their way. She picked up the pace as they headed to the call. She had not heard of the fall of midnight shores yet so any of their members coming here brought her great interest.Welcome to Anathema what brings you from your pack to mine? she questioned as she brought Elzar to a full stop. Midnight shores scent was dwindling on the others coat and Aeron found herself standing there wondering.

A call rung out, one telling them that they were coming. Once that came, Avinalora seemed to shut down, her posture sagged and her eyes seemed to be shattered. It was as if the reality of joining a new pack had dawned on her. It had been like this for a while. The jackal mutt would seem to be okay and then at the slightest memory of her time in Midnight Shores made her sink back into depression. Adrian knew that Avinalora was still distraught and broken, grief clung to her. The former Sicaria decided to be the spokesperson since the fox-like girl didn't seem like she would be talking. Her sister had been shattered by the disbandment of Midnight Shores. She was quiet and seemed to struggle to smile. The dark vixen knew that the medic had been one of the biggest participants in the search parties, hoping that her strong sense of smell would help her find the lost pack mates. But the Midnighters had simply vanished and the healer wondered if fate had caused it.

"I can be the speaker?" The Raven girl asked and the silver jackal only nodded. She heard Eclipse telling the kits not to speak unless they were spoken to which she was thankful for. The cat was a big help with the kits, especially while their guardian was unwell. The foxes seemed to have noticed that the green-eyed female wasn't quite herself and didn't pester her. The younger sister hoped that she would pull out of the grief.

A woman riding a horse came into view. She was accompanied by a large male wolf riding a horse. She was a copper and grey woman wrapped in bear fur and she held herself with authority. The former assassin immediately lowered her ears and tucked her fox-like tail between her legs. The healer didn't seem to notice the appearance of the two Luperci, she stared off into the distance which was unlike her. Normally, she would have heard the duo but she didn't. The Shadowryn tapped her sister and the girl seemed to have been dreaming as she flinched.

Avinalora had been thinking about Midnight Shores. She felt that she didn't try hard enough to find them, despite pushing herself to exhaustion while searching. Was there a reason why so many members had disappeared? The leaders of the pack and many pack members had simply vanished, no trails or clues. Did fate intend for the island pack to break apart? The heterochromia-afflicted girl wished she spent more time in the pack instead of always going to the mainland. She had never met Jazper and hardly any of the missing members. Why didn't she stay home more often? She could have spent more time with her pack mates.

Adrian dipped her head towards the female. The woman welcomed them to Anathema and asked them why they had come from Midnight Shores to Anathema. Did the woman know that Midnight Shores had disbanded? Did she know that the leaders had vanished and Skana had chosen to disband them?

"Midnight Shores is no more," the dark-hued hybrid said with a solemn tone. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw the moon-washed maiden sink even lower. Did her sister even believe that Midnight Shores had disbanded? The amethyst-eyed girl's proclamation seemed to enforce the fact that their pack was gone and wasn't coming back. She didn't dispense too much information, but she would provide it if the woman asked. The former Midnighter hoped that the Anatheman wouldn't ask the monochrome fox about the disbandment since Adrian didn't know if her sister was capable of answering them.

Aeron sat tall as she looked down on the small group. Golden eyes cast a hard look at them she was leery of others from packs. Anathema wasn't in anyone's good graces by any means and normally pack wolves meant trouble for the mountain pack. But the other spoke and Aeron looked at the two. "Disbanded?" She spoke almost questioned. She was shocked to say the least.

"Why chose Anathema? What skills do you bring which could aid my pack?" She asked as she started to dismount. Normally she wouldn't be this cautious but it struck her as odd. Anathema had been booming as of late and truly the greying leader was unsure as to why. Though for winter it was probably best for some to have a pack to work with instead of being left in the cold.

Snow crunching beneath her small paws as she moved closer to them. "We welcome everyone and anyone into our family. We take blood ties very seriously here. To join you must be willing to preform a rite miming your blood with mine through a cut on our paws. This binds us like family my blood through you and yours through mine." She added. She wanted to be clear with them Anathema was not a sing song type of pack.

The Anatheman female was shocked by the news that Adrian brought. The cataclysm of the Midnight Shores disbandment had gone unknown to their neighbors? How many packs were unaware that the island pack was no more? Avinalora was shocked and a fresh wave of grief threatened to pull her down. The vixen's life had changed and her psyche had taken a hard blow. The only way the packs learned of disbandment was when those pack members arrived at their door? Wasn't every pack aware the the Shores had lost their leaders and pack members?

"An escort party was lost after delivering Jazper's body to Casa di Cavalieri. Skye and Esmeralda were in the escort along with several of our pack mates. Skana, as acting leader chose to disbanded the pack after a month of failed searching; that was five days ago." The Shadowryn explained. She wasn't very familiar with pack relations, but she felt that she should provide the cause of the disbandment, Anathema needed to know. She noticed her sister wince, as if the younger sister had prodded an open wound. Would that wound ever heal?

And then the woman dismounted from her steed while asking the pair why they chose her pack to join and what skills they could provide. The dark vixen glanced at the jackal medic who surprisingly responded. The female spoke in a tired voice, soft and cracked every so often. Would the woman accept the silver sister who seemed almost dead?

"I have met several of your pack-mates, Nyx, Lux, and a woman named Axelle." The green-eyed girl responded. Her eyes were vacant and seemed to stare past the coyote as if she wasn't there. The jackal mutt decided to speak, remembering when Jarix had done most of the talking while they joined and the Arcturus had thought that she was mute. That memory pained her, remembering her old pack and the deceased woman. But she chose to talk since she was the one who said that they should come here.

"I am a medic, specializing in herbal remedies." The monochrome fox added, answering the second question. She did have some other skills, scouting, reading, and writing but those were normal skills. She could also help in a hunt, something that she had learned in her old pack. The memory of the hunt yanked at her heartstrings again. Everything reminded her of Midnight Shores.

"I am skilled in combat and tailoring." The dark hybrid added. And then the woman came closer, telling them that there was a ritual they would participate in before joining the pack. They would be cut on their palm and then have their blood mixed. That would make them family, which she saw wisdom in. Her amethyst eyes darted towards her sister.

The moon-washed maiden listened to the explanation of the rite. She had not been injured since she had stopped feeling, perhaps pain would bring her out of the pit of despair she was in. Maybe the cut would bring the grief out of her blood. She would do it. She nodded.

Both sisters nodded and held their hands out, ready for the rite.
