Dismantle the dangerous traps that the loners have placed within Casa, or get caught in one.
[430] - 2nd Trap, July 5th

For the second time that week, the Cavalieri prince found himself on the outskirts of his territory. This time found him much more cautious than the last. He found himself keeping his eyes moving searching for hidden ropes, peculiar looking trees, disturbed foliage. He'd been out here for a few hours laying down scent markers. So far, so good, but he was starting to get cramps in his thighs and neck from crouching and looking around the way that he was. In all probability, he was doing more harm than good.

For the wounded pride of the Stryder boy, the physical pain didn't matter. He wouldn't give the trespassers the satisfaction of capturing him. The first time, he'd been lucky to be chanced upon by his friends and packmates. If it happened again, he might not be so lucky. However, just in case, Arlen had packed himself a small arsenal of knives underneath his clothes. He might not be able to cut a rope when he was dangling upside down several feet if not yards off the ground, but he could do damage to anyone who tried to pull him down.

With these thoughts waging war on his weary mind, Arlen paid very little attention to his actual surroundings, instead making mountains out of mole hills. When the leaves of a bush rustled beside him, the boy jumped a full foot in the air, landing a few inches from his starting position. He drew his thin rapier out to meet whatever might be approaching be it friend or foe or... squirrel.

With a sigh and yet another blow to his ego, Len dropped the blade to his side and watched the rodent scamper away. This is just great, now I'm scaring prey away. He covered his face with a hand in embarrassment before starting up his round again. He went a full step and a half before he started screaming. The ground gave way beneath him, the light disappeared, and he dropped his rapier somewhere along the way. Arlen looked up, cursing rather loudly at his luck. He'd fallen into a pit over ten feet deep, lost his sword, and better yet, the covering over his trap hadn't fallen in completely. There was a small, Arlen-sized hole in the leafy disguise that let in very little light.

Again, he called out. "Hello? Hellooo?" Fenris, this was getting old. For the second time, he found himself in a pit and for the second time he found himself trapped by those who were attacking his pack. And they were separate incidents!

The broad and furry shape of a large wolfdog padded near Casa's border. Iorek was in a more familiar form today, his Secui shape. He preferrred it to any other form. He shambled along and sniffed. He had no idea about the territory and he wanted to learn. The bear boy then perked up.

Thr brown behemoth sniffed the air, smelling the familiar scent of his friend. He wore the daisy flower crown that the boy made for him. The red-eyed recruit heard him calling and then bounded towards the source.

The brown-painted yearling didn't notice the hole in the ground. He thought that the fellow youngster was out of sight. And then the ground disapeared under the giant's paws. A loud yelping echoed through him as he fell.

The hybrid beast landed in a heap. He wasn't badly injured, though he felt sore. A pained whine echoed through him and then he looked up to see his friend. W-what th-this?

His yelling didn't take long to procure results. Before he knew it, and without warning, Arlen was soon given the company of the bear-like Iorek, still wearing the crown that had been woven for him days ago. Now that all of the covering had come raining down upon him, Arlen had a better grasp of just what had befallen them both.

With a soft, bemused smile, Arlen explained their situation to his friend. "Well, buddy, you got caught in a trap with me. Remember Mama and Dad's announcements about the people trespassing and messing with all sorts of stuff?" He didn't wait for an answer to his rhetorical question. "Well, this is what they meant." His long arms gestured wildly as he grew more heated, his grin becoming satirical rather than amused.

"This is the second time this week I've got caught in one!" A sigh betrayed the boy's quickly fraying nerves. "Isn't this just great? Parent's are sure to be proud of this one." He held his head in his hands as he slumped down against the wall of their pit.

Poor Iorek didn't deserve this. Poor Iorek had been trying to help. He didn't need Mr.Debby-downer to make the whole thing worse. Arlen pushed his red curls out of his eyes before giving as reassuring smile as he could muster at the time. "We'll be okay, Iorek. This is my second time getting caught in a pit. Just keep yelling and calling out and someone's sure to come find us." Find us, laugh at us, what's the difference, eh?

Arlen tried to make sure the boy was calm before he lifted his head back up, resting the crown of it against the hard earth. He howled, yelled, called out, whatever it took to get someone's attentions. He heard Iorek start up a sort of whine that he supposed would have to do for now. The boys cried out until their throats grew sore and their prospects slim, but still they persevered. Surely someone would come to get them, even a loner.

Iorek looked around, his ears pinned against his head and he looked alarmed and afraid. He didn't like small spaces like these. He rose to his paws, noticing how small it was. A soft whine of fear echoed through him. The wolfdog pressed himself against the wall, unable to pace.

The red-hued boy's explanation was like background noise. The red-eyed recruit was too freaked out to actually pay attention. He numbly nodded, his hunched body shaking. He heard about the loners part and even more worries became present. What if nobody found them? What if the loners found them? What if the walls caved in? The brown behemoth shook and shivered in fear.

The bear boy did hear the green-eyed boy say that if they called and made noise, someone would fine them. He was too scared to let a howl or yell. He made loude whines and they carried as well as yells. The yearling carried on until his throat was raw.

The hybrid beast moved slowly, his throat hurting. He moved closer to the hybrid prince and curled up. His crimson eyes betrayed his fear. "H-Hole s-scary. D-Don't l-like" the brown-painted giant rasped.
