WORD COUNT 312 |
A dark-hued shape confidently walked along one of the many paths that weaved through the wilderness known as "Colchester Quarter". In one of her gloved hands was her violin case and in the other was a dagger. Clad in her normal attire, a black crop top and leggings and her amethyst sash tied around her waist she didn't seem like a normal creature.
After many arguments, the two companions had decided to leave Amherst. Cobalt didn't feel comfortable in the unfamiliar environment and demanded to go back to the feral style of living. On Adrian's request, they had settled in an old house in these woods and now both were separately exploring this new place. The darkling should have known that the abandoned city woldn't be good for a mostly feral Luperci who refused to shift into the bipedal form. Yet, the city girl in her always wanted to live in a house or city as it felt more comfortable for her but the hunter of the pair had dragged her back out.
Finally, the violinist found what she had been looking for, a small forested meadow. Perfect for her to do what she loved, to dance and play. She skipped forward, agilely weaving and hopping through the forest and soon found herself in the clearing. The loner gently set her case down and carefully removed her onyx instrument and bow before starting to play. Then the music ignited one of her other passions.
The dark dancer then let her body react to the melody she was playing. She lightly pranced around and sometimes even added a slight twist. Then, she stood and spun with her leg sweeping straight out at hip level. She added in her body swaying and twisting to the music and other moves as she danced.
The Raven-Shadowryn was oblivious to the world which still moved around her.
