Inca had returned from the diplomacy trip in one piece, the man more than a little eager to return to his mischief, instead of being on his best behavior. With his little brothers around, it wasn't quite as easy for him to get into the sorts of trouble that he usually did, and that was before considering the pair of potentials eyes for his mother. He was back though, and that had meant slipping back out into the dampwoods not long after he'd gotten settled back in.

A bone knife was lashed to the hybrid's thigh, a precarious position if not for the leather sheath that it lay in, and the knife itself relatively crude compared to the much finer specimen that he'd been gifted. He had started to get a little bit better at it though, and at the very least, it cut well enough to justify bringing it along. With some of the nights starting to get chilly, Inca had brought along the deer hide cloak that he owned, not as fancy as some of the clothes that he knew others in the pack owned, but he'd gotten along well enough without.

As with most of his trips away from the pack, Inca did not have a master plan for the journey, simply expecting the cards to fall wherever they happened to fall. It was a hit or miss strategy if he'd stopped to really consider it's track record, but he tended to fixate on the good outcomes of it, like meeting Lou. It was that lack of hindsight that caused greed to glimmer in the youth's eyes when he came upon a campsite not terribly far from the borders. It didn't look abandoned from the fact there were still belongings to be picked over, but he also didn't see anyone watching over it.

If he'd stopped a moment, he might have remembered a similar situation had cost him his father's hand me down knife, and nearly his life. Instead, the man crept toward the nearest thing that looked like it might have valuables within it, and tried finding something worth carrying back to the pack. There was the faint scent of Anathema in the air, but as close to the border as they were, he dismissed it as a coincidence. He found clothes first, but not the sort that he might have worn, yet set them to the side anyways with the plan to bring some of the nicer pieces back for his sister. Jewelry, even a crystal ball eventually brought out into the afternoon light for the greedy male to paw at, and appraise.

It was quite the haul, probably his best yet, and all he had to do was start gathering it all up to begin carrying back to Anathema. Inca was ecstatic, but so enthralled by his new found treasure that he had stopped paying as much attention to his immediate surroundings. Lost track of the reality that the campsite's owners could very well be coming back at any moment.

It was a typical day for Evangeline, she and the boys set up camp and started to replace the protective markers around Anathema. For Eva it was easier to set up camp work one area of Anathema then move on. They had taken a break though and Eva had gone for a dip in one of the near by streams. She aches from all they had done and the cool water felt refreshing.

She shook off a bit as she looked up at the sky. She needed to get back to camp and get ready to move to the next spot. She made her way back The the camp wondering if Briston or Ash had made it back.

As she crest the hill she saw a grayish figure rummaging through her stuff. She assumed they were close enough to Anathema to not be bothered no one had before. Though not many lurked around the demon pack. It wasn’t until she got closer that the noticed he perpetrator was Anathemas own.

“Eh,hem.” He coughed arms crossed as she looked through her stuff. Her naked body fluffed from agitation. “Inca, what in all of creation are you doing with my things?” She asked purple and red swirled eyes looked down on him.

If he'd been a little less greedy, and settled for just some of the clothes, the male would have maybe been long gone by the time their owner returned. Inca had instead allowed greed to keep him there, intent on carrying off as much as he could, and was still in the process of sorting when he was caught red handed. He'd been too fixated on the task at hand to notice her approach, but his ears perked almost immediately at her cough, dropping the clothing that he'd been holding so he could be ready to flee.

He had expected a loner, an angry one at that, but was contemplating a fight when his attention was drawn in the direction of the noise. It took a moment or two for recognition to really dawn on the male, but he was stunned almost immediately by the bare woman, his blue eyes trapped by her appearance. Finally piecing together who she was only made it that much harder to look away, even if a voice in him said that he shouldn't be staring at the Angela of all people. He'd not interacted with her a great deal, and he certainly had never seen the woman without clothing before.

The gap between his noticing her, and actually answering the question she'd given him was more than noticeable, his gaze not really looking away as it probably should have, but instead wandering over her in an appraising fashion. Inca caught himself, and tried to fumble for some excuse, suddenly piecing together whose camp he had been ransacking, the male swallowing to buy himself a moment or two of thought. ”I... I uh, thought it was a loner's camp...” he answered truthfully enough, even if he left out what he was doing, and was quick to try and turn attention away from his transgression.

”You're much more attractive up close, without any ceremonies to distract from you.” Inca offered up some potentially reckless praise, going off the sort of advice that his father had taught him as his lessons with the older Coyote had continued. He didn't stop to think how the much higher ranked woman might take his flattery, let alone his apparent inability to take his eyes off of her.

Evangeline waited a moment before she moved towards Inca. The male holding her things proclaimed that he thought it was a loners camp. She shook her head stepping to him she poked his nose. Though he was taller than her, “use this a bit better” she spoke. Standing there on her tip toes.

She settled down and looked at him as she gave a toothy half grin. “You like what you see hmm?” She half purred. She had to admit her ego enjoyed when others reveled in her beauty. Maybe she got a bit of that from her mother, or maybe her father.

She turned away grabbing her clothing as she started to slip into it. Arrogance was definitely her fathers trait. “Do you mind I’d like those back.” She said pointing to her jewelry.

If she had been a loner, the situation might have been a little more comfortable for Inca, less uncertainty involved in that, than being caught red handed stealing from the pack's leader. He wasn't entirely sure what the punishment might be, if she decided to not accept his excuse for rummaging through her things. If not for the appealing distraction that the woman herself presented, Inca might have been worried more than he was.

When she actually approached him, Inca stayed still, even if he found it impossible not to keep his eyes on her, even when his gaze had to drop downward to follow once she was in front of him, standing on her toes. The grin on her face softened some of the lingering concern that he was in trouble, but her purring voice was far more of a surprise, far more warmth for his praise than he would have ever hoped to receive from Evangeline. More dangerously, it gave the already reckless hybrid ideas, ones that were not likely to be good for him. Inca being the kind of Luperci he was, acted before really thinking too long, first by bluntly answering her. ”Who wouldn't like what I see?” the male's words carried more confidence than his earlier ones had, a pleased looking grin on his face as he did, only fading a touch when she turned from him to start getting into the clothes that he'd been about to steal.

He was slow to actually respond to her request to bring her jewelry over, still a little starstruck, but moved toward her eventually. The jewelry she'd pointed toward finding it's way into Inca's hand, stepping just as close as she had earlier, offering up what he was carrying to the Angela, but with what he thought was a clever bit of flirting ”You look just fine without it you know, the jewelry, maybe even better without. I could just hold on it?”. Inca had tried to make sure his tone was more playful than serious when he suggested keeping her possession, as much an effort to tease the woman, as it was to see whether her earlier smile might mean she wouldn't pull rank on him as readily as he would have thought.
