Some time had passed since the Hushhowl woman had last seen Greed. He had called for her at Casa's borders, spent a good amount of time with her, and even met her father. It was somewhat of an awkward introduction but things seemed to go at least somewhat well?

Still, he hadn't come back to see her in a while, and seeing as he did invite her to come visit him at the tower him and The Order occupied, she figured she'd be the one to come to him this time. There was still a lot going through her mind, even after her little talk with her father. She was still just as unsure about herself and her feelings as ever. Perhaps seeing Greed would help.

The sound of hooves hitting the hard ground nearly echoed around her as she rode in what she believed was the right direction. Her assumption was confirmed as part of a tower could be seen in the distance. It still took a bit more time before it fully came into view, mismatched eyes looking around and taking it all in as she slowed her steed down to a walk before dismounting. Hopefully Greed was nearby, otherwise she would call for him in just a moment.

The world seemed to still after the execution. While the lands could rest, his mind could not. Bel's furnace crackled and spat from within the tower's walls, casting a glow to create a cozy ambiance. Greed sat outside, before the fire that burned from early evening into the late evening, lit from Bel's embers. Even though he was surrounded by family and had warm fire to keep him company, there was an emptiness that overwhelmed his soul. Something grand was missing from his life in this moment, but he was unaware of just what.

Greed stood, and meandered out into the forest surrounding their camp. The tower loomed over them all, a great guardian of The Order. Amber hues glanced upwards at its grace and then turned forward as the afternoon sun beamed from around its width, burning his eyes. Hooves drew his attention further into the forest and caused his hackles to rise in defense. Even with Lux gone, it seemed the Quill could not shake the edge the great beast left him with. Forever would he be wary.

Soon, the figure came into view, a white form atop the hoofed creature. Dusk. His heart skipped a beat and stomach sunk upon seeing her. Suddenly, he didn't feel so empty anymore. A light smile graced his feature and he moved towards her. Onryo and Enenra bashed together as he walked, coming to stand before her as she sat atop the horse. He offered her a hand so she may get down and greet him properly. Dusk, what brings you to our camp? It was impossible for her to know he needed her when he himself had not the slightest clue until he saw her. Nonetheless, he was happy and the slight sway of his tail behind him was proof of that.

It hardly took a moment for her to spot the man she was searching for. At first though, his stance made him seem on edge. The earthen toned male seemed to relax quickly though when he saw it was her coming to him. Maybe he had simply been weary because the borders of a loner band were not as well patrolled and secure as a full on pack was.

With a smile on her face, she took the hand that was offered to her, sliding down from Oakley's back to stand before Greed. Her hand remained in his though, even after her feet were firmly on the ground. Well, since you came to see my home, I thought I would come visit you and see what The Order was like. Honestly though, she was much more interested in seeing Greed than his camp. How have you been? It hadn't been too terribly long since they had last seen one another, but it had been long enough. Surprisingly enough, she had even been missing those fiery orange eyes the past few days.

A soft smile graced his lips as she spoke, saying she'd come to see The Order. In all honesty, The Order was in chaos. Not physically, but mentally. Everyone was recovering from the brutal execution of a long time friend and family member, Lux Einar. It was a harsh blow to all of them. It was almost as if, the last bit of Anathema had died with him. There were no longer any ties to the chaos their once strong pack was famous for. There was no need for that madness anymore, no tolerance for it either.

Greed chuckled a tad bit nervously and ran his fingers through the swiftly growing locks that now draped around his shoulders. I would love to show you the Order, but if I'm being honest, it isn't the best time. His smile faded just as she asked how he has been. Without words, the Quill wrapped her arms around the snowy woman, bringing her in for a firm embrace if she didn't fight him.

Better now I think. Want to walk with me? He whispered as he held her, soon after releasing her so she could answer him. There was twang of desperation in his eyes that faded with a huff and warm air through his nostrils, tucked neatly away behind a smile. I don't mind talking about it. If you'd like to hear our struggles. His hands dropped to grasp hers lightly. That desperation soon turned to a hunger to be in her presence. He hoped she would stay and talk.
