Table image heights discussion

Ah, Q&H, my old friend

So, I was wondering what people think is the best/most acceptable height for images in graphical tables?

Personally, I prefer less that 300 pixels for my own graphical tables, especially for ones at the top. But, I'm interested to know what other people think is acceptable since it was pointed out to me that things could look different across different monitors and such (I'm on a 15" laptop).

So, what is your preferred image size for graphical tables?

I prefer less than 300 as well - less than 250 is ideal, I think. I'd also like to point out that it's your resolution - not your physical computer size - that matters when it comes to how "tall" tables will appear. :) I've got a resolution on my laptop of 1600x900, so tall tables aren't unreadable for me or anything, but I do find them unpleasant.
