Welcome! We recommend starting here.

Stormie & Amanda are very excited to finally welcome everyone officially to New Caledonia! Please be patient with us as we work to get all of our info up and organized, but in the meantime feel free to explore the website and throw your characters into the magic that is New Caledonia! We are so excited to see the stories and relationships that will grow here.
In addition we would like to take a moment to thank everyone who helped us; collaborators, coders, artists, and magicians! Thank you very, very much!
Now fasten your seat belts, this Newspost is a doozy!
From this day forward August 17th will officially be known as Founders Day! This is a day to celebrate, as it is day that the peers of the realm first assembled upon their new territory to usher in the First Age of New Caledonia!
Founders will notice that they have begun their journey in New Caledonia at a rank higher than is usual for a joiner. Iomair and Athras have extended the rank of The Privileged to their loyal followers. This means that you are able to begin pursuing co-ranks, grand quests and guilds right away!
As a general note, points for the pack game (Honor) and word count for coranks will be for all posts/threads that take place after founders Day!
You also have the option of purchasing your very own Founders Only Key Icon with the hover 'Key to the Realm'! Using either Honor points or purchased through the 'Souls Store!
Congratulations to Fennore (24 Posts) and Inara (15 Posts) who have both made the move from Distinguished to Privileged! You are one step closer to the Courts of Dusk & Dawn! Fennore has received our first ever Top Poster Icon!
The Website and Wiki have been updated with residency Maps and claims! Take some time to look them over and post to the Maintenance Thread or edit the Wiki if you would like to claim a living space in our bustling City Square!
The Thread Prompts for September have been updated on our website. Check them out for some inspiration!
To kick off our first month of being a pack we would like to invite you to participate in helping to shape the realm!
We are looking for sub-territories to add to our Pack Territory and we would like to give each of you an opportunity to contribute! With a new territory to explore it seems only fitting that our members will be able to find landmarks and useful portions of land to name and describe! If your character is aiming to become a Pathfinder this is also a great time to accomplish some threads in relation to this co-rank!
You may submit buildings, natural landscapes, or anything that you think may stand out from the territory's natural terrain. The due date for our contest is September 28th at 9:00PM EST.

Thank you to everyone who participated in our Territory Contest for the month of September! There were so many great submissions that it made it very difficult to decide! After much deliberation we settled upon four new territories that will be added to the Realm for all of us to explore! Some even seem to have some spook to them...
Mandi – 1st Place (Icon, Title) +75 + 45 Honor
Sub-Territory Name: The Mordotir
Where is it?: The Highlands (The Teeth)
What is it?: Several distinctive teeth along the mountain range
Description: Known locally as the "Shadow Watchers," these distinctive peaks, which are admittedly lower in altitude than the highest stretches of The Teeth, maintain a prominent admiration (and sheepish disquiet) from the Realm. Standing clear from the mountain range that it calls family, these sharp and jagged pinnacles almost appear as though sentinels of New Caledonia, watching both its people and its enemies for evidence of wrong-doing.
Rat – 2nd Place (Icon, Title) +50 + 45 Honor
Sub-Territory Name: Chimetower
Where is it?: West of City Square
What is it?: An old belltower
Description: Whatever stone building this tower once belonged to has crumbled around it; the tower itself is half collapsed, with what remains of the walls overtaken by greenery. Some sections of the spiral stone stairway leading to the top of the structure can be seen but some are unstable. If a daring Luperci was to make it to the top they would find that small songbirds like to nest in the rafters of a room dominated by an ancient and rusty bell with a chain for ringing still attached. If it still works it's certain that the whole pack will know about it.. and the ringer may risk losing their hearing temporarily.
Veldt – 3rd Place (Icon, Title) +25 +45 Honor
Sub-Territory Name: Lochan Glas Where is it?: somewhere near Lebennin and Enedwaith (maybe between?) What is it?: A green pond/stream in the middle of woods nearby the River Valley Description: Saddled up against one of the meandering trails in Enedwaith leads to a peculiar pond. It is stagnant and ripe with algae, the likes of which are so pervasive and dominant of the body of water that no Luperci efforts can ever hope to rid the pond of its presence. While it offers little in the way of fishing, it is indeed an awe-inspiring sight, a freak incident of nature not ordinarily displayed in other ponds of the area.
Myst – 4th Place (Icon, Title) +15 + 45 Honor
Sub-Territory Name: Ashena Orchard
Where is it?: The River Valley
What is it?: An overgrown apple orchard Description: Four untended rows of apple trees are interspersed with other trees and brush and long grass. The scent of apple blossoms wafts over the area in late spring and early summer, followed by the crisp scent of apples closer to harvest time. The apples that grow are small and sour, partly due to competition for resources, and partly due to the age of the trees.
Thank you again for such great participation! Watch for your icons and titles to be added sometime this week. :)
