It had been a long while since the sun kissed Luperci had seen another face she knew. Although, it didn't bother her much to be honest. Solitude gave her time to do what she loved and experiment. She was beginning to become a story that passing souls might hear about it they chose to come through these woods. Luci found it fun to prey on those who had nowhere to go, those who dared to lurk in her part of the woods despite the stories they'd heard of past victims, her past victims. Each was so much fun and lately, without Shadow around, she'd been tapping into her darkest crevices. These were the parts of her that her mother would be proud of and Luci knew it.

Lucias hadn't spoken to her mother in such a long time, the young woman was actually feeling a sort of heart break. Kohaku stole Amy from her, claiming that Amy chose to. But, the Sunders child wouldn't believe that her mother would leave her like this. Still, she had yet to return and every now and then Lucias questioned whether she even wanted the spirit back. It'd been so long Lucias had forgotten all of the annoyances Amy caused her and only remembered feeling security in her presence and hearing praise when she spilled others' blood. She missed hearing that voice echo between her own thoughts and the intoxicating trance that still falls over her when she's cutting through flesh. It made her shudder in a brilliant way to make her think about it.

The demoness had been wondering closer to Anathema lately. She would never admit that she missed Kohaku and would never return with them still in a rift. Lucias still hadn't forgiven him for treating her just like that stupid little slave. Thinking about it heated her so deeply. Lucias had since controlled her drinking, ever since the night Shadow found her soaking wet and drunk in the rain. That night, she hurt him and for the first time she felt bad about it. He was her father, he was there for her. The only one it seemed and she felt soft around him. That's why she'd been staying away from him lately. She couldn't have these feelings, it wasn't in her blood to have these feelings. It wasn't her place.

Lucias found a nice cave which she'd been calling home, it was the perfect size for Minx and herself and a good place to leave the slave while she was gone. The poor slave, she barely ate and her ribs showed through her dull and tattered black coat. To Luci, she was beautiful like this and the girl wouldn't change a thing. If she wanted to starve herself, she could. Lucy knew she wouldn't die from hunger, all canines, wolves or dogs, had a built in alarm that went off when they needed to eat. The golden toned girl, on the other hand, was far from hungry in appearance. Lucias had grown into her her puppy-ish features and was quite beautiful in appearance. Her body had blossomed and she was now a woman. Her body had curves it didn't have before and her chest had become quite full. She had to find a new clothes to fit her new features.

The girl wasn't up to much now, simply sitting in the trees waiting for that next lucky victim to come wondering cluelessly into her blades' range. This was a game she enjoyed often now. There had been a handful of randoms to fall cold at her feet. Most she'd rather torture and release so they may tell the tale of her. She loved the word spreading about herself, it thrilled her. Amy would be proud.

A luperci foot dangled from a large tree, one she often chose to sit in. It was actually comfortable for a giant hunk of wood. Her tail flicked back and forth, almost like a cat's, patiently waiting. She had her dagger in hand and a potent drink sitting on the same branch she did. It was large enough for that. Curious blue eyes scanned the woods for any movement. She'd been waiting long enough that by this point, any animal would do in place of another canine.

Viper was alone this night. Pythius had refused to get out of bed, and while Viper had every nerve to beat the shit out of the boy, but he could feel the energy fading away from him and he needed food, and he needed it now. He took his weapon, for his mother told him to never leave without it, and then he dressed in his “Salsola” wear, (a green and gold smock) and left in the dead of night. Xanderlend, his mother's colt, had followed him out, and since the colt was beginning to learn to ride (and seemed to like Viper as much as Panda) Viper decided that maybe it was time to see if he could master riding a horse. Viper hoped that the shire yearling could be reliable. Viper took a side trip to the stables of Anathema to take a set of reigns to control the beast (which did get the attention of his personal colt, Addiction) and after a small altercation between the master and steed, Viper finally left Anathema lands, and rode the border of Anathema at first, In attempt to find a easy exit and entrance of the walls themselves. Viper was still new to Anathema, and the walls confused him just as Salsola's borders had. He realized that he was old enough to where he would need to learn this stuff quicker, and now seemed like as good as any to go around the borders, and maybe he could pick off a loner while he was around, for no one would question a lie that was spun by the tongue of the serpent child. He was a prized possession here. He was a prince here.

Viper held a creepy, childish smile on his fanged lips, half enjoying thinking about who's blood he was to feast upon, and also thinking about how awesome he was for being able to easily control his “brother”, Xanderlend. You see, there was an odd place on the Behr Tree for Xanderlend, as an adoptive brother, and Viper had been reminded of this on their return. He noticed that the colt had free roam, and most of the time he was right next to Panda. He sometimes tried to go in the temple, and no one stopped him. No one stopped the horse from doing whatever he wanted, while Addiction and Dosage both were of different spirits, so they also had that against them as well as the fact that Panda did not want three colts following her everywhere. She already had a zoo, she didn't need to bring half of it with her all the time. Viper agreed, but with his mother's ability to teach him things that he would need to know was extraordinary. Panda had so much knowledge that no one knew about, that no one was trusted with but herself, and Viper saw this, and often was more talkative with Panda more than even Aeron. Aeron too, had been teaching him things since he had returned, and the reason that Pythius had been asleep this night was because of the extensive and intense training that the boys had been going through since their return to Anathema. His mother, Aeron finally had time for him, and when she was not dealing with Kentaro, it was obvious that Aeron tried to be with the twins as much as possible. Viper had felt almost as if he was getting crushed by the intensive training but he knew that it was because she and their other mothers, and even their father, Venom, had been making up for all the lost time. Between lessons, the boys barely had time for themselves, and even now it was hard to get away from anything. They had to tell everyone that it was time for them to sleep. Viper would hate himself later for not getting the shut eye, but blood would help him get through it. He figured that he would be just fine.

The proud yearling carried the youth through the forests, the trees finally having shed the thick snow form the days and weeks earlier and giving way to flowers. Viper had not lived in the spring, but the way that his mothers had explained it had never been able to leave his mind. He could not wait for the fields of never ending flowers and warm days and sunshine. Viper was not all that fond of the sunshine, but he was excited about the warm days and the flowers. Lillith had made him like flowers because of her floral scents. He would never admit to another that he liked flowers though. That was not their business, after all.

Tall, alert ears had picked up sounds up ahead, and his sharp eyes caught the sight of a hanging leg, which made him instantly pull back on the reigns and halt Xanderlend. Who are you? growled the male, fully aware of her elevated position in the tree. You are awfully clossssse to Anathema. it then that his slipt tongue slithered from his mouth as he spoke to her. Who was this sun-kissed girl woman?

OOC:

The impatient demoness was just about to lose it. Nobody was coming and from what she'd seen, nobody was going to. She was about to give it up for the day and return to her cave to take her anger out on Minx when a scent drew her attention towards Anathema's borders. She just watched, regaining some of the patience she'd lost waiting. Her face twisted into an expression full of wickedness and joy as she gazed off in to the white, patched woods, just waiting for someone to come.

Lucias's hand tightened on the grip of her dagger as she finally saw the figure in the distance, cloaked in the earthy tones of the forest and riding on a tall beast. Lucias had a sudden memory of being drawn in the carriage with her mother, a large horse pulling the wooden fortress. She used to hide in the pelts and Amy would always have to lecture her about not sleeping on the merchandise. It was one of the good memories Lucias' had of her mother and one of the most predominant. Luci let the memory pass as her target neared her, obviously aware of her presence in the large tree. As he came closer, it became obvious to Lucias that he was part of Anathema. She knew the scent well as she used to be part of the dark pack herself. Guess she wouldn't be having any fun today after all.

With a loud sigh and the subtle shake of her head, she sat up letting her leg swing back and forth as it dangled from the branch she sat upon. The young male questioned her, asking who she was and noting that she was close to Anathema's borders. She watched the way his strange tongue slipped from between his lips and then back in. Strange. I'm not an enemy if that's what you're wondering. She told him, although she regretted being allied with Anathema. She wouldn't hurt anyone in this pack, it was her brother's home and possibly her own future home if she every dared to return. Maybe after she settled this feud with Kohaku. I know. I tend to stay close. It's kind of sad, there's not much for me here. She commented, shaking her head. She hated that she couldn't leave and she hated even more that she couldn't find another reason besides the fact her brother resided here with her mother' ghost. If there was a reason to discover at all. My brother lives within your borders and I used to be a part of the pack. It's just a habit I guess. Am I bothering you? She asked, though it wasn't sincere. She could care less who she was bothering.

Lucias moved, sitting up on the branch. She held a playful demeanor, her tail swishing to-and-fro and her hands rested on the branch on either side of her. Her legs were crossed and she had a harmless smile on her lips now, letting the previous angered and impatient one fade. What are you doing out here pack member? Surely there's nothing interesting out here for you? There was for her on the other hand. Maybe if she could shake this guy she could actually find someone to have some fun with. The sunlight was fading though which would make it a bit harder to find a play thing. What's your name? She asked, tilting her head to the side. Large ears swayed with the motion.

The ice blue eyes of the woman glowed in the dark, much like his bright yellow and amber ones did. The dangerous look that was in her own eyes was reflected in the eyes of the Prince of Anathema, and his own smile was placed on his lips after she had spoken of not being an enemy and she continued to speak about how "pathetic" it was for her to stay so close to the pack that she did not wear the scent of. That must had meant that she was a member at one point, or something, and then once she mentioned that her brother still lived in Anathema, it made Viper's curiosity of the woman peak.

His tail flicked lightly against the flank of his horse, and Addiction nickered softly, and gave a small huff as he shifted his weight under Viper. Viper was asked if she was bothering him, but he shook his head 'no' and looked back at her, a dominant gaze searching her own icy one. Since he had not spoken yet, it seemed as if the girl was a little bit more on the talkative side and she continued to speak. While the Prince would let her speak, he did find that fact of her not shutting up long enough to accept his drawn out responses, was slightly annoying to him. He looked at her with that same intense glare without letting up and he huffed lightly when she asked him a bunch of questions.

Blood. I want...Blood. growled the male as he looked at her, his eyes filling with a desire that rumbled deep within his chest and body. He could feel his stomach churning with hunger as he sat there, politely talking to this woman. I am Prince Viper Trombetta growled the boy, his tail wagging lightly back and forth as he continued to make eye contact with her, but his words were filled with pride at his title, and he was slightly on the cocky side. Who are you, ssssignora? growled the prince, wondering who exactly she was.

OOC:

The sun-kissed demon was much too good at playing out her sweet persona. Sometimes, she forgot she was even trying to act so sweet while violent scenarios played out in her mind. Maybe that's why she was so good at it, because her imagination allowed her to see what she wanted without making it happen in the physical world. Her mind was her most important tool, even more so than her rapiers and daggers.

Luci could see the slight irritation on the stranger's face as she questioned him, the whole while he just scowled at her. She found it slightly amusing, especially since she wasn't being her complete self. It was funny to see what kind of reaction her other personas got out of people. Once she finished, the male responded quickly. His answer sent a jolt of curiosity through Lucias and triggered the thirst she held inside. Her tongue slipped out of her maw and licked at her lips, eyes narrowing on the stranger. His own face seemed to hold the same expression. It was desire for the one thing Lucias loved the most. Blood. Her curled tail tipped back and forth as she sat there, becoming more interested with the stranger as the moments passed. Maybe what she had been looking for had just found her. What good luck she had today.

Viper. His name was one she liked. It sounded deadly and dangerous. He said he was a prince but that only made a short giggle bubble from Luci's lips. Prince huh? She riddled, a feminine hand coming to push her messy bangs out of her eyes. Luci had always been good from reading people, and this boy was obviously proud of his so called 'Prince' title. Luci took a long, relaxed breath before she spoke, drawing out her answer. Her own head raised in pride, shoulders rolling back confidently. Lucias Sunders. She told him loudly before she let herself fall from the tree, landing gracefully with a slight thud and crackle of melting snow.

Luci approached Viper, smiling wickedly as she neared him. She let her eyes wander over his body, taking every inch of him in as if she were sizing him up. Icy blue orbs finally met his own demonic yellow ones. A hand was placed on her hip. Now. Enough introductions. What is this about blood? Lucias could hardly wait to hear his answer. Her tail was swaying with anticipation, ears pressed forward. She'd had enough of this boredom. It was time for some real fun. It's interesting because that's the exact reason I was sitting in that tree, waiting, in hopes that some pathetic creature would pass by and fall victim to me. Lucias's head tilted slightly, her grin growing wider and eyes filling with excitement. Then I would cut them, make them bleed, and fulfill my desires.

Luci leaned forward slightly, gazing fiercely into the boy's eyes. Why do you want blood? She asked simply.

She seemed interested in him, as he was her, but she spoke to him, questioning his title of Prince before she introduced herself. He would have given her a sarcastic "yeah" but he held his slithering tongue before she jumped down from her spot and she started to come towards him, those bright blue eyes roving over the youth's body. She had to be able to tell that he was young, and while he looked youthful in the face, his eyes were intense and seemingly aged well past his age. As she came near, he flicked his tail lightly, and Addiction shifted his weight once more and took a few steps back from the woman. Addiction did not know this girl and was apprehensive of her coming towards him. Viper, having sensed that Addiction was uncomfortable, slid from his back and stood to his full height that was still smaller than the girl. Soon, he would be big and tall like his father and possibly bigger than this girl. No, definitely bigger than the girl who stood in front of him with her full chest and feminine smell. His eyes took her in, as did her own to his body and he stood in such a way that she would be able to see every inch of him.

She brought up the blood, and then she spoke of how she was waiting for the same thing to happen. For someone to walk by and become her victimm. She was much more lazy than the young vampire boy and his left ear turned back because of her explanation. He was judging her silently, like the stuck up brat he was, but he did not let the judging look pass his face, rather he put a charming smile there instead to distract her. She, too grinned wildly as she spoke to how she would cut them and fulfill her desires. Viper was much less complicated than that. He didn't harm others mostly for the fun, rather, the male had harmed others so that he could feed on them. Had he never been bitten by Bastion, had he never disrespected the other vampire man, than he would not have had to deal with such a thing, but alas, this was not so.

She asked him why he wanted the blood, and he looked at her with the same entertained and lusty look that she had given to him. To feed. the slithering tongue of the serpent boy had hissed from his maw as he closed his mouth and his two longest canines rested on both side of his mouth, even while his mouth was completely closed. The Serpent Prince looked like a blood-drinker as much as he looked like a snake.

The horse the boy sat upon didn't seem comfortable with her approach, but she didn't care about it's comfort. Luci just scoffed at the hoofed beast. She didn't like horses very much. The silver topped male came down from his steed and stood before Luci giving her a better view of his young body. He was shorter than she was, as a lot were, Lucias standing at a proud six feet and eight inches. Her head lifted dominantly feeling comfortably confident in the presence of the youth. He looked her over as well, and she basked in his gaze. Luci was very confident of her body. Her hand rested on her hip and her leg was placed to the side, stretching in a slightly sultry manner.

Luci noticed the subtle movement of his ear, but she dismissed it. Whatever he was thinking didn't matter to Lucias as he was just a kid who's experiences were heavily outweighed by her own. The boy was rather quiet, only answering after she was completely done talking. Lucias accepted it as respect, something she could appreciate.

The young luperci's answer was interesting indeed. He wanted to feed. Luci's brow raised, her devilish smile widening. Viper was strange, but she couldn't help but be interested in him. After all, his first words spoken to her were that he wanted blood, the very thing she loved more than anything in this world. The look in his eyes was one she often held in hers, right before she sliced a victim open to reveal with life force beneath the flesh. It was the look of raw desire. She liked seeing it in his eyes and it made her even more curious as she thought about his chosen words. Feed. Did he just want to hunt? Lucias wanted to know more before she chose him as a companion in her games.

Feed? On rabbit and deer blood? Lucias shook her head slightly. Boring. The Sunders girl shifted her weight to her other leg, hips swaying with the motion. Her eyes narrowed on him once again. He seemed different. She didn't truly believe that it was just rabbit or deer blood that he wanted. He didn't so much as bat an eye when she mentioned slicing her victim open. Most would be revolted by the mention of slicing one of their own's flesh for fun. It was a sign that he was like her. But I get the feeling rabbit and deer are not what you're talking about, are they?

Lucias waited for his answer, hoping she was right. If not, she just had a very strange and hungry kid on her hands that would make a fine play toy himself. Though, after all this waiting she hoped to have found someone to enjoy her violent games with her. Not many could indulge in such a gory sport.

464 words → ooc: Wow i'm stupid. I forgot that I said that Viper took Xanderlend and not addiction. This is what happens when I don't put notes to myself up at the top of threads. :// Same reaction, different horse. Sorry for the wait too.

She had no problem with him looking over her, that was for sure. A smile, one of crooked intentions had slipped onto the maw of the serpent prince as he looked at her. She was not bad looking by any means and even if he had no intention to do anything with the girl, he could very much appreciate her well kept body and fur. She seemed interested more so when she heard his words, and this made the boy tilt his chin slightly, and cock a brow. It would seem that they might have had the same intentions, or that she might be able to help him in getting a meal tonight. His tail wagged softly at the thought of her helping him, using her to his gain. Could he possibly dominate this woman enough for her to become his slave? Viper's mind buzzed behind his bright gaze, and ruthless smile that he wore so easily on his maw. The serpent boy was combated with questions then, and at her first two questions he shook his head as she did. She spoke of it being boring, and then quickly noticed that he was not talking of rabbits and deer. He shook his head once more.

I would feed on you, had you not been waiting for your own prey. it was only when the Italian boy had no “s” to pronounce that his words would be clearer, and only tilted with a slight Italian accent, seeing as this was the boy's first language rather than the common English tongue that most of the wolves he had met so far had spoken. The boy was not frightened of the woman though, knowing that she would not harm him and if she did, he would find her brother and tell him that he was to bring her to him to execute and feed on her. He would use Anathema's members in such a matter, for they were mere subjects to him, no more. Viper took full advantage at his elevated status in Anathema over the title of a Tradesman's bastard son in Salsola. Each day that he spent in Anathema, the more he seemed to like it, but the longer he stayed, the more he wanted the Anatheman crown for himself. He did not need to focus on the crown. He needed to focus on training to become stronger. He wanted to become invincible. He would feed, fight, and fuck his way there if he needed to.

Sssshall we hunt together, Misssssss Luciasssss? the male asked, his hissing tongue slipping between his teeth as he spoke and he looked to her, and put a smile on his face when he turned back to her from looking at his mother's colt.

OOC:

OOC: Bleh, this one stinks. >.<

The sun toned demon just gave a short chuckle when Viper mentioned he would feed on her if she wasn't here for the same reason. She didn't believe for one second that the younger male could possibly overpower her and feed on her. She wouldn't allow herself to be subjected to such things. Although, she did think it funny for other reasons. If this had been a different scenario, him another loner like herself, she wouldn't have hesitated to show him how strong she really was. Unfortunately she still had morals to uphold, not that she liked having them.

The question brought an expression of the darker variety on the Sunders girl's face. Of course. That's why we're here, are we not? With that, she turned and started to walk. They would have to find someone to have their fun with or 'feed' on. What Lucias did, could be considered feeding as well. But she fed in a less physical way. She didn't feel the need to consume blood, and it was a different type of thirst she was quenching. Lucias fed off of the fear, the joy, and the power. The blood was an added perk, one she enjoyed immensely and she supposed she probably wouldn't do what she did if no blood was shed.

The excitement was settling in as they walked, Luci keeping her nose open for any signs of others in the area. If they walked long enough, they would find somebody. It was the moment she couldn't wait for. While she walked, Lucias glanced over at Viper trying to find the same excitement in his face. It had been far too long since she had found someone who could indulge in the same ways she could. Lucias searched for a fresh scent, passing up several older ones that would most likely lead to a dead end or it would take them much too long to reach the source.

Finally, after several long minutes of walking, they found what they'd been looking for. There was a scent of another, somewhat far off. A wicked smile drowned Lucias's features as she turned back to Viper. Her hackles raised in anticipation. Lucky us. Didn't think we find prey this quickly. She'd been waiting all day for this, and why she even waited in the first place was a mystery to her. But now she was happy she had because this was going to be more fun than she'd had in a while. Would you like to lead the hunt Viper? She asked, with a curious grin. She wanted him to lead as she was curious who she was dealing with and how he went about things. Judging from him so far, he wouldn't turn down her offer and if he did she really didn't mind. Luci's tail tipped playfully from side to side, impatient to begin their hunt.

She easily accepted his proposition, and this kept the sickly sweet, yet almost charming smile on the lips of the young serpent child. He could easily see that meeting this girl was not on accident. This was something that was meant to happen, because Vampires knew other Vampires, and Viper's keen senses caused him to attract the right luperci at the right time. A shiver ran up his spine, which made the fur on his spine stand on end in excitement and once she turned away from him, he remounted his horse like the royalty he was, and he urged Xanderlend forward to follow the woman. While she walked, he looked at her curves. She would bode well for him. She would do very well. He felt his senses sharpen, and the excitement caused his aura to spike lightly as he rode. This made the warhorse in training underneath him lightly excited as well. The horse stayed close to Lucias, for he could only keep his pace to a slow but brisk trot. The excitement of his rider urged him forward. Viper watched the female closely as they walked and finally after awhile they found someone's scent. They were still far off, and probably settled for the night. Viper knew it was like catching a rat in it's hole.

The sickly sweet smile was sitting on his maw as he thought about their prey. Lucias suddenly stopped, and Viper pulled back on his reigns in reflex and this made Xanderlend stop quickly on his large, powerful limbs. Had she not noticed before, Viper was the dark, brooding and silent type. He had once been outward and open with his emotions as a child, but he was growing fast and this made him become one who thought more so than spoke. He agreed with her though with a curt nod before she had asked him if he wanted to lead the hunt. A brow cocked towards the girl and his tail flicked lightly in thought. Of course he wanted to lead, but the girl was testing him, and he could tell. The male did not let much time go by before he spoke an almost enthusiastic "Yesssss" to the woman. Viper normally worked alone, but to have someone to help him made things become not only easier but also more complicated. For example, if the woman was a feaster, like he, then she would want to be the first to eat, would she not? Was she a cutter? A slicer? Butcher? She seemed like the type since she had been sitting with her blade in her hand.

He thought slightly about the course of action that they would take. He flicked his tail in thought and his eyes glazed over as he stared at the woman. You attack firssst. I would not want you to not have your fun, ssssignora. growled the boy to the woman, letting her take the lead there. He would like to try his charm first though before she attacked. I will let them think that I am lossst, and that I need help. When they let their guard down, you will attack. the male spoke, simply to her, letting her know that he wanted to use his defenselessness to his advantage. He was still young, and he still could get away with it, and he was going to use that to trick the others into thinking that he was to be trusted. He looked to her after he had glanced at Xanderlend's mane and he awaited her response.
