Kentaro Lykoi
Come on baby...don't fear the REAPER

Dated the 25th

Fenrir, Viper, Catrin, Lucias and NPC's. Viper, Lucias, and his NPC's will be escorted out of Anathema Catrin will be taken prisoner.

Kentaro paced the caves his mind almost blank from the rage that flowed through his veins. He pulled on his haori and left the leaders den. He was going to murder blood lust was not typically a feeling that passed over the young Angelo but he was gonna settle this once and for all. Gideon followed the young Angelo watching over him.

Moving out side the den the young King watched the ever greening forest. Kentaro let out a call. Viper and Catrin wanted a fight he was going to bring it to them. Fire blazed in dull gold eyes. He was the ruler here no one defied him his mother was on his side and there were so many more in Anathema that were as well.

Kentaro crossed his arms waiting for them to come to him. Isolde no longer stood with this coup Nor did Kohaku both knew what was good for them. He would not stand for his sister being against him. Nor did he like the fact that the missing prince was one of the ones who opposed him.

Fen watched the forest as the emerald leaves claimed the once saddening landscape. It was once dead and desolate now it was full of life budding and growing. It was beautiful to the large wolf. He sighed as he clapped his hands together to say grace. " Thank the divine for bringing life to the once desolate land and may the same be said for our once glorious pack that shall flourish under the great King, all hail our Lord Kentaro and may luck be with him and his followers." The wolf was beaming with pride as he smiled softly gazing upon the land. But a howl broke his tranquility as he heard it something became apparent. He could tell it was a request, a call, but it sounded aggressive. Fen extended looked towards the flying hawk as he extended his arm. The creature warbled him informing the large wolf of the king's distressed behavior. Fen didn't like the sound of this as he hoisted his bow back on his body. As Fen sprinted towards the call he could feel his dagger on his left hip and his spear on his back jostle. He took no time to secure as he was focused purely on his lord. In a way Fen nearly viewed Kentaro as a god but alas he was simply his leader and brother. To Fen family was something you defended with your life along with your superior. Kent was both and that made this a top priority as came in on the lord's left side he could almost feel the anger in his lord.

Fen fiddled slightly tying the cords of his cloak tighter pulling his raised hood down as he was worried about catching the angered leader by surprise. To catch an angry man by surprise is to open yourself up to a dagger in your side. He normally wouldn't worry about that with his lord but something was off.

He looked serious and threatening it even made Fen a bit frightened he looked ready to murder. Fen knew the face as he once had the same face. But alas Kent was smart and calculating he wouldn't do anything like this without proper reason. Fen coughed calmly walking towards the agitated brother looking at him smiling softly and kneeling beside his lord. " My lord forgive this rude encounter but I hear you call and I was worried I couldn't bear to ignore my king in a time of distress." His words were always honest with Kent. They were family he couldn't lie to his own brother. He stayed knelt for a few seconds longer until his hawk screeched for his master to stand. Alicanto needed a perch and as practiced fen stood with his arm extended. In one fluid motion the wolf and bird were in sync as it landed gracefully on Fen's arm. Fen used his free right hand to tighten all of his straps to ensure nothing would fall off. If the leader was truly planning on going into a fight Fen would be right behind him until the very end. " If you need anything my lord I will be right behind you to help with any challenges you may face and I swear it." He was a loyal soldier, diplomat, pawn, and brother to the young king. Age did not matter to the older wolf as he saw a true man before him and he was willing to die for his lord.

821 words → ooc: Make sure you change the title to mature please.

That booming yip-like howl pierced through the male's abode. The attack upon the Angelo had failed, via Catrin's idiotic choice to allow Panda, a good witch to make the poisonous brew. Viper snarled when he heard the call that summoned him, and the rest of the coup, and his piercing eyes turned towards his brother, who in turn also snarled about it. They were caught, but they would not go without a fight. No, it was not like the male to back down, he was no coward, and since the male wanted to call him out as he did, Viper was more inclined to come at the male with full force. Viper took up his scythe, his favored and the weapon that the male was most versed in, and he got from his resting position to prepare himself for this battle. His brother helped mount the chest piece onto the male's chest, the heavy metal weighing down on his chest slightly, but still being light enough for him to move swiftly when he needed to. Viper breathed easily, and he looked down at his brother and pet the top of his head. The twin was worried for the older of the twins, and he helped Viper get ready before Viper returned the favor and helped Pythius get ready. Viper mounted the crossbow onto Pythius' back, and when he did, the younger twin looked to Viper with wide eyes. I'm not giving it to you. he growled lightly before he opened his maw to speak once more. You will stay out of view, and when you have a clear shot, you will take it. he ordered, and Pythius nodded his head. What if he kills you, Viper, what will we do then? the male asked his brother, a sad look in his eyes as he looked at his twin. Then you will kill him, and you will revenge your dear brother. he spoke to the male as he fixed Pythius' collar and then he looked to their doorway to be greeted by their slave.

Sixx was ready, a sword poised at his side, and a serious look on his face. He, too, wore clothing that had been provided to him by not only Panda, but also by trading at the Outpost, where he also had gotten his dazzling sword from. Viper's gaze softened on him, but still held an intense look on his face as he looked to the beautiful male. Viper admired the toned muscles of the male and wanted to express the frustration that he felt when he looked at the slave, but he knew it was inappropriate to think the way he did and he often would keep his distance because of that. Viper's frown turned into a sadistic smile as he nodded his head once and he looked to the men to see that they both were ready to fight. Sixx moved forward towards Viper and then he reached out to fix his jacket's collar, and he traced the chest plate that laid under his shirt to make sure that he was wearing it. Sixx did not want Viper to be hurt, not again, and he would sacrifice himself for the man, and Viper knew that. Sixx had done that once before for Viper, and he knew that the male loved him enough to die than to lose the life of the young prince. Sixx would serve Viper well.

The male was quick to move away from the male and his touches when he decided that they should not keep the King waiting. First, the scythe barer had gone towards where he knew Lucias to live. She would know that she, too was summoned and would be participating in this battle. When he came to her doorway, he leaned up against the post. We have been caught he spoke simply and a smile pushed on his face. It is time to end this. he growled with a sick smile before he came to her and licked her on the top of her maw. He then would turn from her and leave her abode to lead the group of canids to where Kentaro had been waiting for them. They formed a triangle as they moved along, with Viper at the lead, and his twin to the right, and Lucias to the left. Sixx hung in the back and walked alongside Catrin, who joined them moments before they would come to where Kentaro was.

When the group came upon Kentaro, there was another male there that Viper had not really had too much of a chance to converse with, but he had seen the male walking around the lands before. Viper growled lightly and stood defensively with his scythe in front of him. Hello....brother.. he spoke, the words hissed but a wicked smile pass his lips. Would the King strike first?

-- Let the games begin! :D

See galleries for credit.

The Sunders demon hadn't been expecting it. She'd put her full trust in their plan to rid Anathema of the young ruler. But, they'd failed. Now, they were being summoned to him to face punishment most likely. Lucias scoffed as she sat on the simple bed in her cave. She wanted him dead, they all wanted him dead. The coup that is. Her, Viper, Pythius, and those who stood with them. They would have their victory, but now they would just have to go about it a different way. Lucias wasn't at all against this. She was ready to face the Kentaro and his own allies with Viper by her side. The sun touched demon rose from the bed and donned her jacket, as well as her weapons. She took a few minutes to take a cloth to both of her swords, wiping them clean of any residue and bringing a more intense shine to them. She smiled fondly down at them. Beautiful She muttered to both of her inanimate objects which to her, were not so inanimate. Once done, she placed them both back in their respective sheaths. She then placed a gentle kiss on her rapier's sheath before placing it's holder over her head and on her shoulder, her dagger on the opposite side. It wasn't long after that Viper, Sixx, and Pythius met her in her room.

Lucias tossed Viper a warm smile as he spoke, though it soon twisted into a more serious and wicked one. Yes, they'd been caught, she already knew this. But, Viper's confirmation made things more real and rose the excitement in her blood. We have. She repeated simply and then nodded towards him. He won't live past today. She told him confidently as he came to her and placed an affectionate lick on her muzzle. She relaxed under the touch of his warm tongue, nose gently pushing into his short touch. Afterwards, she didn't hesitate to follow, ready for battle. She walked beside Pythius proudly, often glancing at him and offering him looks of confidence and reassurance. She believed in them and believed that Kentaro would fall to their weapons today. She noted the bow on Pythius's back, obviously from Viper as he'd never had one all the other times she saw him. He would be in the distance while Viper and herself were in close combat with her own swords and his scythe. It was a good, solid plan and Lucias didn't mind being up close and personal in battle. She wouldn't have it any other way. She would never abandon her rapier and dagger, fighting with them until she drew her last breath.

The sun-kissed demon wasn't afraid of death, though she didn't think she'd be dying today. She would do everything in her power to avoid it and instead push death upon the young leader. That, was their whole plan after all. They neared Kentaro and one she knew, Fenrir. She'd spent some time talking to him and playing games, though it seemed they never really did have the potential to be friends after all because now, he stood on the opposite side. Unfortunate for him. Lucias shot him a devilish glare and growled deeply. Maybe she should have killed him that day. It would have been one less they had to face today, but of course she couldn't have done so anyways. Instead, she would aim to kill him along with the leader today. She drew her rapier, slowly, the sound of her slender blade sliding gracefully along the sheath as it exited. She held it in front of her, her other hand on her dagger.

Lucias continued to growl under her breath, ready to spark the fight into a blaze of clashing weapons. She didn't move, breathing slowly and steadily as she waited for the first move to be taken. The excitement burned underneath her skin, her hackles raising on her neck involuntarily. She'd never actually been in a battle quite like this and although not nervous, she was not quite sure what to expect. It didn't matter though, she would fight with all she had and all the heart she had for Viper and his brother. There wasn't much the young Sunders had passion for in life, but those few things she had passion for were always her priority. Lucias cared not about the consequences, focusing only on the now. Icy orbs concentrated deeply on Kentaro's own weapons and Fenrir who could be the first to attack also. As soon as the first move was made, she would pounce.

This was not a day Kohaku had been looking forward too. Kentaro had wrung every tiny detail out of Kohaku and the Marbas had done little to resist the interrogation. In the end, he had chosen to respect Aeron's decision and had given up his crusade against the new king. Although Kentaro was an inexperienced pup with a stick up his own ass, Kohaku at least had some small semblance of positive feelings towards the King that one could have called like. Viper on the other hand, Kohaku had no love for nor did he care to follow the sadistic snake. If Kentaro was a pup, Viper was still suckling on his mother's tete.

Kohaku had come in his full dress, with nothing held back. His white, hooded cloak was showing wear and running thin, but it was the outfit Aeron had first given to him when he had entered Anathema. Two metal bracers covered his forearms, each containing a hidden blade ready to slide forth with a flick of Kohaku's wrist. A chain mail shirt protected Kohaku's chest and shoulders, hidden from view by his cloak. A blood red sash wrapped around his waist, with a belt of throwing knives overtop. Each knife was sharpened to a deadly point and ready to find their mark. His short sword and dagger hung from his hips, the blades loose in their scabbards. Each of his weapons had been sharpened and cleaned the night before.

A lump stuck in Kohaku's throat, thick and hard. Every swallow stuck in his throat and every breath was hard to take. Butterflies fouled his stomach and he had spent most of the night tossing and turning in anticipation for this confrontation. This wasn't Kohaku's first fight and it wouldn't be his last. On any normal day, the Marbas would have welcomed an excuse for bloodshed. Not this time. This time, Lucias would stand opposite of him. Kohaku had promised to keep her safe and despite their differences and difficulties, he wasn't sure he could bring himself to seriously fight against his sister.

Kohaku had arrived at the caves early that morning but had kept his distance, choosing to sit in the shadows of the forest rather than speak to the Angelo. From his distant perch, he could see Kentaro finally emerge in an angered rage and listened quietly as the call to war was sent out through the pack. One by one, the coup members and Fenrir arrived, each lining up and taking sides. Kohaku emerged from his spot among the distance bushes, walking towards the group with his hands tense by his side. The Marbas approached Kentaro from behind, his emerald eyes fixated on Lucias as he moved. At the last moment, Kohaku turned and chose to stand behind Kentaro, on the other side where he would not be opposite of his sister. Creamy arms crossed, his hands resting on the hilt of his blade as his chin and tail rose, his gaze not daring to wander towards Lucias.

Come on baby...don't fear the REAPER
((Kentaro and Viper are to fight anyone else can discuss attacks on anyone else feel free to Capture Catrin Alive))

Kentaro snarled as he looked at Viper the young man had shown his face but he didn't see Py where was the other snake boy? Huffing Kentaro looked to Fen and then to Kohaku. He had allies here it would not just be Viper and himself fighting it out. He smiled as he caught sight of Catrin she was no fighter she should have run instead of coming here.

Viper you have failed even Kohaku and Isolde think you have no ground as they have sided with me. He spoke. He looked his brother over as he held his scythe in hand. He moved swinging it in front of him. Lets play a game you win I leave Anathema. I win you are banished for life for treason and attempted murder of the Angelo. He spoke his tone almost jovial but malice was clearly written in its undertones. He'd paint with his brothers blood today, blood was thicker then water but that only meant it gave a better color.

Kentaro launched himself forward taking the back of the blade and top of the handle and thrusting forward in a motion to knock the younger brother off balance his aim was his chest knocking the wind from the boy was his goal. He smiled a wicked half smile at Viper soon the boy would learn not to mess with things that they had no reason being a part of.

[000] Well I hope it is alright if Fen has Alicanto to take on Pythius and Fen against Sixx you can't doubt a sage :)

Fen's face grew cold and unforgiving as he saw the triangular formation approach. Fen knew the scent that had come up beside them, it was Kohaku the young wolf that taught Fen the ways of a sword and the man who knew the very look Fen was casting on the unwanted guests. He knew this formation as he examined each individual, one dawned chest plate an utterly useless item another was a man very similar who dawned a crossbow, and there was a robust man with a sword guarding a female. Fen instantly had the chess board set up in his head as without a word he lifted out his arm sending a trained Alicanto away once it had landed telling his owner of the crossbow man's fall back. He would be his eyes as Fen knew the woman was the one to be captured just as the swordsman was to be taken out in anyway possible. The man with the ow was worrisome as Fen knew during a clash he could easily drop back and fire upon the defending and assaulting canines. Alicanto knew this as well Fen had trained Alicanto treat the just as it was the bear that attempted to kill Laurel. Go for the eyes, ligaments, and tendons. If he could rip the throat out. The large bird decided to soar rapidly high above as to avoid being hit by the bow. Fen had finished calculations taking into it that his brothers seemed to have their targets and that left Fen three people to slay in the name of the divine and their king. Fen had contained a sadistic smile as he watched his king launch forward to take down the lead. The wolf retrieved his spear and loosened his dagger's strap ready to counter in case the spear was removed. Blood was going to be spilled and it damn sure wasn't going to be Fen's .

He could feel the adrenaline rush through his body as he slowed his heart rate and paced his breathing. A sage was not to become influenced by sheer emotion but instead influence the emotion's of others. He knew to get to the king he would to take down the pawn and the knight beside her. All Fen needed was a clear shot but he would need to readjust if he was caught. He could see Alicanto had caught the man that had stayed back. Once Fen gave the signal he knew he would hear a man be ripped to shreds. He would had to have to do this as he could see the king was confused upon glance but scents don't lie and neither did the bird. Fen was in this to end the coup and bring peace even if it meant blood must be spilled. Fen saw an opening in their defenses as he took to light feet and a low, leveraged stance when he charged towards the unknown swords man without remorse and without any emotions displayed that showed the man's true demonic intentions. His steel tipped spear was prepped as he aimed it to either deflect a strike or pierce his opponent. Fen could tell that this fight was going to be a long one as he faced a man he had no true time to examine and he had left a strong danger to his friend but he knew the bird was trained well enough from days in the training ground to avoid daggers, crossbow bolts, arrows, and even rocks. At most the bird would have been grazed but he knew that in this fight the bird would be able to cripple the archer upon command. Fen wanted to end this quick and leave it with no scars only victory.

Through difficulties to honor, these men's blood would be spilled as the bird and wolf shall emerge from this battle victorious with the woman under their blade.

The boys were unafraid of this day, for they had waited for it for some time now. Viper wore a grin, while Pythius would have worn a neutral look, had he been in the vicinity. The other slithering snake boy left his brother, but always kept him in his gaze. They did not promise to be fair, for they were serpents, killers in their very nature. This was not going to stop them, and Viper knew that there was little way that he and Pythius would be killed on this day. Anyone else on the battlefield was expendable. Having built an unique relationship with each of his allies, but each of them had their purposes and if they could not stand on their own two feet then that was their problem, not Viper's. The young serpent had been training for this day the moment he landed in Anathema, and why the King child had not realized that nor his mothers was simply ignorance on their part. Viper noticed that Kentaro looked between them, as if to assess who was among them and who wasn't. It would be obvious that he would have to keep his eye out for Pythius, for the two serpents were after the same prey. Viper chuckled at the words of the child prince.. He clearly gave them away, which would make Viper be out for not only the blood of the king, but also these traitors but his own family. Viper would be back for Isolde. It might not be clear of when he would be back for her, but he would seek her out for his own reasons.

Tsk tsk brother, did you ever consider that maybe you'd die this day? the male growled lightly but still held the forced smile that pulled on his maw. He was not scared, no, he was excited for his brother to come at him. You talk too much. You're boring meee. the male taunted, shifting his weight to where the scythe was lifted and ready to block and strike, but he also kept his other hand free. Viper wagged his tail as his brother finally launched towards him and thrusted the blade in his direction. Viper took the top of his blade and forced his brother's to stop and only the equal strength of the two would make the younger of the two only step back because of the weight of the male coming at him. Viper snarled and then laughed at his brother as he pushed the blade to where it would be pushed towards the ground. He angled his weight to try and push the arm away from it's weapon, so Viper can come at Kentaro's throat with his sword. His mother had given him her personal sword and Viper wore the sword well, and proudly. Viper let out a long string of laughs as an arrow also flew through the air and narrowly missed the serpent prince. Had it hit, it might be big trouble for the King, but the sounds of crying Pythius caught his ears. He wanted to turn away and look to his brother, but he knew that he couldn't. He knew that Pythius needed to be strong and help himself. Pythius was attacked on the face with deadly claws but he had turned his aim towards the bird and refused to let the blood get in the way of him taking down the damned bird. Where was Fell?

Sixx was confronted by the male that seemed ever so devoted to Kentaro and he drew his sword eagerly and looked at the long spear that the male had. He had learned much from his time in Anathema, especially from Axelle and Itzal, for when he was not helping Panda he would be training. He also had been a reason that Viper had been as fit as he was. They all constantly were filling their time with training. Sixx looked to the man and waited for his charge and when the man came close in for a spear jab, in which the man deflected and attempted to move in close to grab out at the male with a clawed hand. Spears were useless up close.

-- Let the games begin! :D

See galleries for credit.

The Sunders demon couldn't help but feel excitement. The blood of their enemies would be drawn today and she would have no hesitation to kill anyone who opposed her. Her eyes flickered between Fenrir and Kentaro as the heat of the battle began to build. Her tail tipped from side to side with the excitement of a puppy and her eyes were full of fire and wicked rage. On her lips rested a malicious smile, her tongue momentarily slipping between sharp teeth to lap at her dark lips. She was anything but afraid of the battle that lay ahead of them. She supposed if she were to obtain any scars from this day that she might not look down on them if they were to be victorious.

Her smile twisted into a snarl as she saw her brother approach standing on the opposite side. Her hackles bristled at the sight of him, she knew who her target was going to be today. Glacier blue eyes fixated on her brother, noting how he chose to stand on the other side, diagonal from her. Who did he think he was fooling? He wasn't going to escape her today. Through her snarl she smiled a devilish smile at him, eyes not moving from her target now. She growled lowly and steadily as she stood, impatiently waiting for one of the two generals to make the first move. Kentaro spoke of who had sided with him, it sickened her. The winnings were just what they wanted, Kentaro to step down as Angelo and allow a more suitable leader to take his place. If they lost, they'd be banished. Lucias really didn't care about being sent away from this dreadful pack, but she did care about winning.

In a flash, the battle began after both brother spat foul words at one another. It was obvious they would be fighting today. Everyone else chose their respective targets as if it were fated to be this way. It left her to battle the one person she had her eyes on this whole time. Her dear brother. She gave a roar like growl and charged Kohaku, drawing both her fine rapier and her trusty dagger. She wasted no time getting down to it. Once she reached him she made a graceful leap towards him, rapier extended out in front of her hoping to pierce his heart. How dare you! She yelled in between her constant growls. She was enraged and excited all at once, the smile never leaving her snarled maw. She'd show him what happened to those who opposed her, family or not. If Amy had been here to see this she would have been truly ashamed of him, he had to have known that and still he chose to fight against her.

Fight me then! That's what you want right!? She roared as she jabbed at him again, dagger ready to block any attacks that may get past her thin blade and threaten to harm her flesh. What was going on around her was almost non-existent. She could hear the battle roars and growling, arrows whistling as they flew through the air, steel clashing against steel. It was a beautiful and chaotic picture and Lucias was lost in it. She cared not about what happened to those around her, focusing on her own goals. That was what would make them win. If each of them focused on their targets and defeated them then victory would be theirs.

POSTED: Mon May 26, 2014 11:07 pm

Yup, she was mad. Not just mad, furious. Kohaku could practically feel the rage peeling off of her and despite his best efforts, he found himself facing off against Lucias. Cinnamon ears folded back and Kohaku's ruff fell flat against the back of his neck. A ball lodged in Kohaku's throat and he felt like he needed to hurl. His breath began to quicken and each gulp was as painful as the burn scar that pulled at his shoulder. Closing his eyes for a moment, Kohaku focused on his breathing. He had to calm dawn, he had to keep himself under control. Lucias, though younger than he, was a dangerous opponent.

Kohaku's eyes reopened as Kentaro began his speech, emerald gaze focused and alert. His fingers flexed, drawing the blades from their sheaths as he watched Lucias with an unwavering gaze. He couldn't afford to see her as his sister, not at that moment. Any hesitation or weakness and he was dead. She was just another opponent, one similar to those he had faced countless of times. Kohaku had fought against all the leaders of Anathema and then some. He had been in a war before and battle was nothing new to him.

The battle broke out and absolute chaos reigned as steel clashed together. Lucias's rapier came screaming towards him and he parried with his short sword. Immediately he returned to a ready stance, waiting for her to attack. Her rapier was long and fast, but she wasn't as trained as he was. Kohaku blocked out her words, focusing only on her blades. She jabbed and he side stepped. Kohaku made no move to attack her in return. All he cared about was defense. It was easier and cost less energy. If he could just keep it up for long enough, she would tire eventually. Besides, rapiers had exactly one attack, a piercing blow. He knew how she would come at him and he was ready. Expertly, Kohaku danced at the edge of her blade, blocking each and every attack with the speed awarded to him by his short sword and dagger. The ring of steel became his music and he moved with all the power and fluidity that his constant practice and experience awarded him.
