Sorry for the wait. ^^

The light slowly faded from the sky and turned it the color of blood. All was calm, for now. A hawk screeched and dove from the sky in a ball of cream and brown feathers. It hit the ground with a thud, feathers still settling to the ground. A long shaft protruded from its chest with the arrows point all the way through the animal and out the other side in the back. The hawk twitched once then lay limp in the pale green grass. A tall black form strode up to the dead hawk. Kneeling down next to the hawk, the black form put one large black furred hand on the chest of the dead animal with the shaft in between its pointer finger and index finger, and the other hand held on the the shaft on the other side of the animal were the feather fletched end was. Carefully, the black creature pushed the rest of the arrow through the animal to save the arrows feathers from any damage and to save herself from just drenching the arrow out if the animal the other way, it would be less messy this way as well.

The black fured beast was Khyren, a loner among these parts. Her mane shade grown longer, just past her shoulders, since she left Casa di Cavalieri and went back to her old home in Shiloh Hills. The hawks feathers, she thought, might look quite nice in her hair. the coal colored female set down her bow and quiver nicely and started to pluck at the Hawks wing and tail feathers before messing eating the body. Her scars from her past and the battle with Anathema showed on her arms, legs, and face. The rest was covered by her thick, but light, bear skin kimono. Her bright green eyes dilated as she ripped apart the carcass of the hawk. The fetahers she had plucked had been placed inisde her quiver along with yhe bloody arrow, she would clean it later.

Khyren had traveled about and by message ended up to far south for her liking. Being awfully close to Anathema, she both regretted and felt fortunate for being here. This might be her chance to have her revenge. After she was done with her snack, the sleek female cleaned off the arrow from the kill in the grass and by licking the shaft of the arrow and arrow head. The taste of the blood made her lick her chops hungrily, bloodlust beginning to fill her thoughts and mind.

Another smell waft in by the breeze made her smirk, the bloodlust showed in her eyes more intensely. The scent was that of Anathema.

With her father gone and her mother slowly losing her mind to wit’s end, it did Lithia some good to escape the pack for a little while. Even though most packs were on high alert for Anathema, and most were advised to attack any Anatheman on site, this didn’t stop Lithia from traveling. It would have never stopped her from traveling. She had the technique of shielding her scent from the outside world, so even if she came upon another during her venture, they would not know her by her Anatheman scent. It was easy to lie this way, and easier to hide her information.

Her father was on her mind a lot lately. He hadn’t returned from one of his most recent hunts, and that was not like him. He would never stray too far from his family, unless he was hurt or in a bind. Even if he was hurt, wouldn’t there be blood on the wind?

Lithia tried to push the thoughts from her mind, and she tried to think positive. Maybe Itzal was on his way home after tracking a wolf from Halifax to the Northern Tides. Maybe it was just something simple holding him back and here Lithia was allowing her mother to get her worried. Axelle had the tendency to freak out a little more than she should about things, especially when it came to her mate, Lithia’s father. She tried to keep a clear mind, to push the negative thoughts away, but it was just so hard. The feeling of dread became heavier and heavier each day that Itzal had not returned home.

With her current familial issues weighing heavily on her mind, thoughts of New Dawn and Casa di Cavalieri were the furthest from her conscience. There were scents of others on the wind, but none of which she thought she would find so intriguingly familiar. It wasn’t until the female with the green eyes came into view that Lithia became rigid and stopped in her tracks. She reached for the hilt of a dagger that she knew she really wouldn’t need.

”You’re a little far from home, aren’t you?”

Sorry for the wait, again. ^^ Kind of rusty, idk, just tell me if you want me to change anything.

Khyren's blazing green eyes came upon the pelt of her enemy from The Battle and her eyes widened with surprise and excitement, just waiting oh so patiently to dig her claws into the Anathema she-wolf. It had been so long she had almost forgotten what she had promised she would never forget, that one scent, the scent of her. From the hill she stifled a snarl and snook upon the wolf as silent as a mouse. Her muscles tensed, one hand gripping the bone knife in her hands so hard that her knuckles turned white, under her pitch black fur. She just wanted to pounce, to grapple with Lithia, to rip her apart like a little rag doll. One paw in front of the other, slowly and steadily, bloodlust rising by the second, instincts so hard to control to fight off till the right moment.

The sinister form of the shewolf like a black demon crept downhill, the wind at her back, she didn't notice. The tug of the breeze at her fur felt like claws. The sun on her fur felt like corsing flames. The stones underneath her foot paws felt like sharp knives digging into her padds, telling her to strike out with all her strength. And right at the moment she saw the other shewolf, Lithia turned towards the shadowy wolf and spoke with a knife in her hand as well.

"Far from home aren't you?" Damn... Only just then did she realize she had been downwind the entire time, maybe the other female had not noticed until she saw Khyren. That was when it was too much to keep a hold in and she gave in to her lupine instincts. The coal colored female ran down the hill like the wind towards her opponent on all fours. Then nearly at the bottom of the slope she pounced. Her eyes locked with Lithia's, as narrow as a needle had been Khyren's black pupils at that moment, like a cougar pouncing on its prey. She snarled mid air. "You bet your ass I am bitch!"

Her pink eyes landed upon the stiffened form of her battle opponent. The female seemingly couldn’t keep herself still for that long and instead of throwing insults at each other, the black shewolf skipped the subtleties and dove right into the action. She ran down the hill, galloping on all fours despite being in her two-legged form. There was nothing Lithia could do but ready herself for the clash and she tensed, folding her arms in front of her body as Khyren’s made contact.

There was no way that she could’ve dodged the attack – Khyren’s force knocked her dead off of her feet and Lithia landed hard in the grass on her back. It was good that most of her wounds and bruises had healed since New Dawn's attack - but Lithia wasn't exactly looking forward to getting new ones. Either way, there was no telling how else this situation could have gone with anyone else. Khyren tackled her almost instantly and Lithia didn't have time to figure out what to do about that. So, she took it.

”You get right into it, don’t you,” she snarled as she struggled underneath the weight of the female. She fought to free her hands and attempted to sink her claws into the eye sockets of her enemy. When that wasn’t working, she resorted to repeatedly striking the female in the face with clawed hands until she got off or moved back.

(000) Feel free to mention whether Khyren dodged some/all of those attacks or whatevs! If there's anything that should be changed, just drop me a PM too :)

+1 Looks fine to me :3

On impact, Khyren had tried to pin Lithia to the ground but instead rolled with her claws trying to dig through Lithia's fur and into her shoulders to draw blood. When they both hit the ground, her knife was knocked out of her hand and spun across the leaves of the forest floor and under a bush not to far away. But the black behemoth had not noticed one bit and continued to dig her claws into Lithia's shoulders. But chance she had ended up under Lithia and fought to dodge her hands full of sharp claws. With both hands she release the smaller she-wolf's shoulders and while using one arm to block the stinging blows, she used the other to slash at Lithia's neck and arms with her own claws. The furious she-wolf didn't feel the slightest bit tremulous as she fought her enemy from The Battle.

Fur flew, and soon scratches welled up on her arms and muzzle, oozing red sticky blood, slowly dripping down her coal black fur. She would have to try to get back on top of her opponent to get the underhand, soon. Then she tried to twist out from under Lithia, still continuing to lash out at her with lightning speed. Once on top of her opponent she snarled dangerously.

The other female’s claws dug into her shoulders and she could feel the stinging, yet brutal pain as they pierced Lithia’s skin. The Napier Pioneer snarled in pain, thrashing her head about trying to knock away Khyren’s hands, throw her off balance or otherwise attempt to catch an arm in her mouth if she were that lucky. Being on the bottom was not a favorable position and if anything, it put her at a great disadvantage. Khyren raked her claws over Lithia’s shoulders and after the worst of the pain subsided, she could feel the cooling sensation of blood welling up in the fresh wounds.

When Khyren’s clawed hand went for her throat, Lithia twisted her head so that she could catch the woman’s hand before it could do any real damage. Then she twisted her body to attempt to throw Khyren off, while her hand was in her teeth, so that she could potentially lose balance and not have any way to fall but towards her captured hand. Then Lithia would stand up so that the two women could stare each other down before going for another round of this.

(000) Idk if I was unclear ~ but I assumed Khyren landed on top of Lithia, and Lithia was underneath her just punching away. If anything, that’s the only adjustment to be made to your post! Everything else looked good :) I still wrote this post in context with that - that Lithia was underneath. Aaand there's a little PP here ~ let me know if I should change it!

PM me if i did anything wrong, might be a little crazy today but i'm in the mood to write (is sick -_-) btw. I don't mind a little bit of pp in this fight, makes things a little less complicated to think out, and we could just pm one another to change anything if nessesary.

Khyren cursed as the smaller woman twisted from under her and bit into the dark wolf's arm as she escaped. There was not enough force to get the black beast of the Lithia but just enough to scramble free from her grasp. Slightly caught off balance, she landed with her injured arm in the dust where the Anatheman female's body used to be. Not liking the thought of not being on the uper hand again she swiftly stood to attention to see Lithia standing not to far away.

The furious females stared at one another viciously. Khyren stood with hands and kimono splattered his her and her opponents blood. Emerald eyes blazing and lips curled back into a snarl, she challanged Lithia to strike at her first. Pupils narrows dangerously, her fur on her neck and all over fluffed up to make her look twice her size. Her ears where laid back, adding to her over all vicious appearance. The black she-wolf's right arm had a few teeth marks in it, sweet red blood slowly flowing out of the cuts, but it was only a minor injury. She felt her heart pump with the adrenaline and excitement of the fight. And she felt even better to she the marks she had put into the other female's shoulders.

Khyren did not waste time with words, she just waited for her opponent to strike, waiting, just watching every second go by as they stared at one another. Bright Green to bright Pink.

There was a pause between them as they stared each other down. Both demonesses sported minor wounds and both brought on a rage that could light a forest on fire. Khyren’s emerald eyes pierced right through Lithia, and all the Napier woman could do was snicker. Khyren’s face was twisted into a vicious snarl, and Lithia’s muzzle was wrinkled, but otherwise she didn’t snarl. Her face was mostly calm – it was her eyes that expressed the anger that pulsed through her very veins.

”What do you hope to accomplish today, New Dawner? A couple new wounds, maybe lose an eye, break a tooth, lose a claw?” It was a serious question – but she didn’t expect Khyren to answer it. Instead, Lithia moved in and with extended claws, she bodily tackled Khyren this time. Both females hit the ground hard, but Lithia made sure to scramble on top this time. With extended claws, she made to grab Khyren by the throat and repeatedly punch, slap, and slash at her face with the other hand.

”You’re not going to accomplish much today, bitch,” she growled through gritted teeth as she struggled with the female underneath her. Khyren struggled against her and did not make Lithia’s attacks easy for her. Some blows landed, some didn’t; and even some wound up on the ground as Lithia needed to steady herself with the hand instead.

(000) Ok! I'm good with that!

I am the tempted to use the table you made for Khyren. :D

The black beast growled, the sound rumbling in her throat and chest deeply almost like the purr of a cat, when Lithia made her attack upon her. She had barely listened to the other untill they both hit the ground again, with Khyren this time on the bottom. The now red and black wolf let Lithia have a couple of punches at her face a neck, but made sure she didn't cause any real damage upon her throat. Her face was already resented. There was nothing that could change that. More blood seeped out of new cuts being made by the second and she still had not landed on blow onto her opponent. Sucking up her feeling some seniority she then released her anger once more upon Lithia.

She grabbed one of the smaller she-wolf's arms and dug her claws into her flesh ferociously. "You little bastard..." Then she used the Anatheman's arm to block the sharp claws of the female and aimed for her opponents chest and neck with her free arm. Khyren kept up this tactic for a while, unable to get out from under the woman.

Dark clouds rolled over the horizon, drifting over the the pair of battling females. The pale grey sky turned darker with hues of rose red and darker grewy, and darker still did it go as minutes past. Flashes of white light and distant growls of thunder could he seen and heard north of the wolves. Air becoming damp and muggy, cold and dark with not a ray of light seeping through the thunder head above.

LITHIA NAPIER
Your heart's been dead since who knows when

As the women struggled with each other, nature changed around them. While they were to absorbed in each other’s aggression to notice, the wind picked up, bringing with it large, rolling blackened clouds and flashes of light. Lithia struggled on top of Khyren, now trying to fight off her blocking arms so that she could reach her throat to strangle the bitch.

A loud clap of thunder rocked Lithia rigid and she stopped struggling for a moment to look up at the sky. The scene that hung over them was absolutely terrifying as far as weather had gone. It was so dark, and the drops that fell were like the size of rocks. One heavy raindrop (possibly the first raindrop) plopped itself right between Lithia’s eyes, and its droplets rained down on her opponent, Khyren. After that first drop, thousands more poured down upon them. Lithia looked down at Khyren with a snarl, ready to continue before a bright, vein of lightning snaked in the sky above her so close to them that she could feel the electric in her fur. Immediately, she backed off of the girl, backing away from the entire scene.

”I hope you got your fill today, girl,” she called out to Khyren over the rain that now doused them, soaking them to the skin. Lithia's wounds burned from the cold, hard droplets - but the chill was soothing to them. Blood mixed with rainwater ran in rivulets through her coat. Her hair stuck to her face and her normally fluffy fur stuck to her skin. She looked like a skinny rat.

Another loud clap of thunder sounded, and then the lightning zapped passed them, hitting a nearby tree. Lithia stumbled back away from the copse of trees near them. The victim tree glowed orange and black smoke billowed from it, despite the heavy rain. The smell of charring wood stained the air, even over the damp smell of rain.

Pink eyes looked back at Khyren, wondering whether the female was stupid enough to continue their fight or whether she would agree to leave. Lithia was sure - for her own will to live - that she was getting out of this storm as soon as possible.
