OOC: Yep here you go, a tiny little puppy post! Sorry it's later than I thought it would be!
Word Count: 314

Myra’s life was getting more and more exciting everyday. With all the new faces she was seeing around, she was also getting more daring. She didn’t shy away from home too often though, but she had so much to explore right here! She found her way to the gardens. Though once lush and full of life, which she was unable to see as a pup nor remember, they were now dreary, most of the plants gone and the soil moved for the next year, though there were still some herbs that had been readied for winter's harsh winds and freezing temperatures, and those interested Myra, only because they all looked different. Many of them were winterizing themselves but Myra liked the look of the garden and this was the furthest she had ever been from her house by herself. She liked to be away from her brothers, it gave her a sense of freedom, though she really did like to know what they were doing, just so she could prove them that she could do it too, she found that being alone was also an adventure in itself.

She wagged her tail and trotted towards a tree and sniffed around, the leaves were not there, it was too well kept for them and she wondered where all the leaves went. She was sad that there weren’t any laying around. She loved rolling in leaves, wet, dry, muddy, or soggy, it didn’t matter to her, she just loved to roll around in them. She looked up and cout see only a few sad leaves left up on the limbs and wondered why they were all gone. She sniffed around the tree wondering if there would be any answers. How did the leaves get up there, why aren’t they there any longer? How come they fell down? All questions she had little to no answers to.

It's okay! No problem at all!]]

Darkness had been doing everything in his ability to work his body with the sword he'd borrowed for the day, almost every day since he'd met Teagan. Firm grip, loose arm. It was still difficult for the man to do, while still trying to work the kinks out of his Optime self. Still, with all the training he'd been doing, he'd not gotten far and it was starting to wear on him. His muscles cried out, he needed a break. He likely should have listened to them earlier, because the soreness was setting in deeper and deeper as he continued. With one last strike on the dummy that continued to taunt him, with his memory of male who'd struck clear through it, he let his arm fall to his side. The tip of the metal grazed the earth with a metallic grind, and he huffed while glaring at his target. It was mocking him, he knew it.

Either way, enough was enough. It was time to put the sword away and rest. On his way to return the blade, however, he saw a youth sniffing about a tree with no one nearby. The small thing was very young, or so Darkness believed as he compared the size of his daughters to her. Intuition crept in as he made his way over to the tree, watching the pastel patterned pup poke around. It looked like she was searching for something, or so it seemed. The large male knelt down a bit away from her, just in case she was being watched from afar, and offered his voice to her,” Vhaet ahre yeu dueing, liettle oen?”

The inquiry was a simple one, and despite his apprehension to speaking with others, there was a fatherly note in his voice. This certainly wasn't his child, but that didn't mean that he could help her out, if she needed someone for something. Even if it was simple, it's not like Dark didn't have the time of day to help out. Golden eye looked around for a moment before falling to the pup again, tilting his crown to the side, tendrils of ink dipped alabaster cascading over his shoulders. She could have dropped something small?

dream beneath the golden sun

Myra’s mind was going through the whole scenario of hows and whys about leaves. She was more fascinated by them than anything else at the moment, besides herself. As such she was too much into her thoughts to even hear the swordplay, nor the older man coming up after he stopped. Myra’s head jerked up at the sound of someone’s voice… someone’s strange voice! She saw the large two toned wolf. She wagged her tail, knowing he was a part of the family, a pack member. Though his speech was hard to understand. But she did understand it. She gave a noncommital tilt of her head, as though she was shrugging, “Playing in the leaves” She said almost casually. She wanted to really find the answer to her large questions on her own without having to ask an adult, for some reason she thought she ought to know the answers. Then to make a show of it she rolled on her back with all four paws up in the air and started pawing at the air with her front feet. The whole time she was looking up at him.

She rolled back up onto her four feet and shook what leaves that clung to her small pelt; “Why do you speak funny?” She asked, not knowing any etiquette whatsoever, she was only two months old after all and she was quite a blunt little thing. As any puppy her mind was distracted by the fact he was there and he could play with her, like her mommy and daddy. She started jumping on her short puppy legs “Hey, hey, wanna play a game!” She asked. Her ears were perked, tail was up and wagging and she was wiggling with excitement. She really did need new playmates! She loved her brothers, but they could get really rough and besides she liked handling adults more anyway. They were rough, but nothing that Myra couldn’t handle at all.

ADD, but TOTALLY ADORABLE!]]

He was immediately thankful that the young thing could understand him, having replied despite the tilt of her crown. A small sigh of relief escaped him, the huff disturbing the hair that framed his features before the little pup rolled over. With a tilt of his own head, he watched her curiously as she paddled with her forelegs before making herself upright again. Then came another piping from her small voice, to which Darkness leveled his head on his shoulders and leaned a bit forward as he attempted to speak clearly,” I ahm noet froem hiere,” Short, simple and to the point, the Prova explained himself in the best way possibly. The concept might have been obvious to an older soul, but he didn't want to assume anything of this child. He didn't want to make her feel a fool in her own home to something she couldn't have possibly known.

Just as he'd finished replying, however, the pup started to hop about excitedly. With all of her enthusiasm, he couldn't help but take up her offer. Looking up and glancing around the area, he didn't spot anyone her age nearby for her to enjoy herself with, so he might as well make do,” Ahlrieght,” With a nod of his head, as her whole form shivered with excitement,” Vhat du yeu vhant teu plaey?” He questioned her with the slightest bit of amusement, attempting to hide every bit of it. He couldn't help it. Pups seemed to be something of a soft spot for them. So innocent, and so full of life. It reminded him of his younger years with his brother.

dream beneath the golden sun

Though Myra had to really listen hard to understand the man, she could hear his words in his strange accent. She thought it was pretty cool and she wondered if she could make an accent like that, but she wouldn’t do it here. That would be too embarrassing. She thought she would find a private place for just that when she was done playing a game with him, for he did want to play a game and she was excited for that.

Myra started bouncing up and down excitedly, happy to know that he wated to play something, now what did she want to play? There were so many games! But the idea came to her quickly and she nudged at his leg with her nose and cried out “TAG!” As loud as she could and then ran. She was fast for being so small, but for being so small she had more ground to cover than anyone. She stopped a little ways to giggle and wiggle her bottom playfully, her tail wagging so fast, it was a blurr, then began running around a tree or two, trying to swerve here or there to dodge him.

OOC: Sorry for the short reply but you have permission to tag her at any time, she is teeny tiny i'm certain he can catch up to her if he really wanted to. :D

Hehehe, she's adorable! I don't mind the length at all. :3 Do wha'cha can when you can! <3]]

The child lingered for a moment, but it didn't take long for her to lunge at him and dot him with her nose, before turning tail and darting off. He stared at her small figure for a moment as she sprinted off, but his mind came to him. Even he was a child once, even he knew how to play tag. The man set off after her in a playful manner, his hands branched out as he came after her, her little taunt not going unnoticed. Her smaller gate wasn't much match for him, but her center of gravity was in a much better position for slaloming through trees. With each tree she rounded, she gained a little space between them, and with each straight-a-way she darted through, he caught up.

He gave her a little bit of leeway when it came to escape, but he wouldn't allow her to have her freedom for long. In a quick attempt to catch up to her completely, he dropped to his hands and feet, and jumped to clear the distance she had made between them. With a light tap to her rear, only enough force for her to feel it, he turned heel and started off an an exaggerated, yet slow gallop,” Taeg!” He called before turning his face to the fore and making a little distance between them before he'd give her the chance to catch up. Even as an adult, the man couldn't help enjoy the game and the innocent fun that they could have. It was a great stress reliever, not having to live up to any expectations, and allow himself to be a bit of a child. Not only that, but it reminded him of his daughters when they were young, Dusk especially. He reminded himself to make sure to make more time with Dawn, to make up for the time that they had been sepereated.

ooc: If she touches him she runs, if not, well the chase continues I suppose! XD

Was she really going so fast? Or was he toying with her? She knew some animals did that with their prey, but she wasn’t prey of course. She was a hunter, and this was just play fun. It really wasn’t long before he did catch up and tag her, She giggled at his light touch on her rump and he ran off. He was a good guy! Even if he was hard to understand a little. She heard his word as he touched her and ran off and made a pretend loud upset huff, but it was all fake, usually they slowed down a little if she did that.

She turned around and ran after him. He was pretty fast, but she could be faster. She loved playing tag, even though her brothers tended to cheat. (Though they were actually playing by the rules and could just run faster than her.) She chased after the older man, and thought, she hadn’t gotten his name, but that didn’t bother her for too long. Sometime she would find out. She was panting pretty hard as she caught up a little. Her tiny legs weren’t on fire, but she was tiring a bit. She was having too much fun at the moment to care if she was tired or not though. “You’re fast” She panted, though she wasn’t certain if he heard her or not, as she was still a little ways away. She was catching up though, not because of her prowess as a runner, though that’s what she thought. And she reached out to try and touch him.

o3o Same goes! If he tags her, then he runs, if he missed, more chasing! XD]]

He'd made contact and her exasperated huff had proven it, but it was only a second before she spun around and headed after him. With the effort she put forward, it was hard not to give in a little early and let her gain on him. Her little chime about his speed hadn't gone unnoticed, either. He didn't want to give her a hard time, after all, this was all fun and games. Chances were, that he would tire long before her, anyways. Puppies seemed to have that never ending well of energy, and from where it spouted, he still hadn't managed to figure it out.

Tiny paws closed the space as he gave her some leeway, and as she leaned in and took her chance at tagging Dark and making off. While most of his body had been out of range, the man lingered a leg back as she reached out, the quick pat of her paw on his calf was the only thing left of her. The child turned and ran off, and Dark panted a bit, spinning about to head after her. Again, he allowed her to increase the distance between them, gaining ground from him quickly. With all of this, she was bound to sleep well tonight. Giving chase for a bit, he finally shifted gears and quickened his pace. A hand stretched out to put a little fire under her as she ran, his fingers hovering just over her as he threatened her with a tag.

dream beneath the golden sun

Myra was exhilarated by the game, and it was going longer than normal, because it usually ended in one of her brothers arguing with her or the other and their parents breaking it up. This was how a game of tag should be played. Though she was probably exaggerating on how quick it took for an argument to breakout but that usually how it happened.

She felt her paw touch his leg and as it did she turned and ran, slower now because she was actually tiring out herself and she just didn’t know how long she could last but she had a few near misses with a tag, at least she thought so, He was right behind her, in any case she felt a touch on her back and saw him turn heel and run. She started after him, but though she had that endless energy, she also got bored of the game quickly now, and they had already gone a few rounds. There just weren’t enough players to keep the game going very well. She half heartedly went after him, but this time she slowed down a little. Her tongue was lolling out of the front of her mouth and she felt rather warm in this cool day.

She soon stopped all together, to catch her breath and to wait for him to notice she had stopped playing. She didn’t say anything though, just did her little best to catch her breath back up.
