Theo's free time consisted of gathering herbs or practicing his punches and kicks. He'd gone through all his forms and was now working on a series of punches and kicks. He used a tree to do this. He used this tree often and it could be seen as t he bark on one side was chipped away. He had wraps around his hands and feet to give them some protection, but he wasn't worried about bleeding. As long as he hit with the right part of the hand and foot he was good.

He started off with his front kicks. It was hard to learn how to do this as he had learned from his master who learned from a book which was made for humans. The wolf anatomy was a bit different but it had the same general idea. He would do his chamber to his kick which was to lift up his leg and balance on the one on the ground. Then he snapped his leg out, the large pad, or what would be called the ball of a humans foot hit the tree as he curled his toes away to keep them from getting caught. He didn't know how many times he had done it, managing to actually break his large toe in his first year of training. He wasn't too bad at it now if he had any say in it. his kick was true and on point. He switched feet and went back and forth at a slow pace to go a bit faster only to be skipping feet to kick. He did this untill he counted to one hundred and went on his side kicks.

He started with his right side, going low then middle then high without touching the ground. It was a difficult maneuver but he had plenty of practice. His balance was spot on so he wasn't hopping around trying to make sure he wasn't going to fall. His attention was on the tree and where he was going to hit it. In human standards he would be hitting with his heel, but he wasn't human and he had no true heel to hit with. His master taught him he would have to hit with his pad. It was just before the joint was and if he went behind it, he could end up breaking his foot. He was lucky to have only broken a toe and nothing more. He couldn't imagine the pain of braking anything else. So he hit again, but his foot was turned sideways and he kicked out with it on the last one as though he was pushing something to the ground, but obviously the tree wasn't going to move. He continued on with his left foot already feeling his body temperature rising, but trying not to pant so much that he would bit his tongue.

I prefer dangerous freedom
Over peaceful slavery

OOC: +400 words.

The Vale had proven, even in the short span of time since she had arrived, to be so much more than she could have ever expecting. Even with the knowledge that she was wanted by her own family, she had been welcomed in by it's own King; and although a flirt had been the one to guide her, it gave her a good idea on the kinds of people this place held. Then again, it was hard to say what past actions might have led all these luperci to come together, probably none more dark a past that the one she carried upon her shoulders. Blood had been what defined her family, and while in some aspect that held true with her, it would not be spilled by anymore unnecessary blood.

The day was killer, but it was unavoidable. The ruins shown to her were impressive, but none could be a home for herself and her companions. It would take some more searching around before settling down in any one place. Her eyes had been set on the heart both she and Baelish passed through on their travels. With a community as diverse as this one was turning out to be, surely even in a decaying state there would be one home that held to the stone exterior and interior she had grown up with.

One arm moved up along the pale woman's forehead, blocking out the remaining sun the trees could not keep out. Sure, the heat would be felt along her skin, but better that then not being able to see where she was going.

A sound in the near distance caused Zuri to pause. Sounds were present in any place, though this one seemed to be coming from a collide against a tree. It was faint, deducing it had to be somewhere close by. Peeking out between the trunks, there was the source, a male attacking the side of one of the trees. Combat, and in turn its practice, came in all forms. While she prefered the art of armed combat, without a weapon to her name, it would do some good to take up arms with her own fists, even if that meant getting dirty. There would be ways around keeping her royalty stature while lowering herself down to the level of her new home.

Making her presence aware, hands moved to her hips as she stepped out from her spot between the trees. Red gaze squinted slightly as her hands moved down to her hips, keeping her distance as to not be caught in the middle, "You must have been practicing for a while to make a dent in such a sturdy tree."

OOC: Theo just derped ;)

Theo continued his exercise getting into a small routine of punches and kicks, adding in blocks as though the tree had arms and legs of its own. Just as he was getting into his groove a voice spoke close by and he stopped, though his hands were still up in a fighting position. He lowered his hands when he saw the familiar white pelt and red eyes; "Oh Calia, I didn't notic..." He stopped as the scent of the other came to him and he folded his ears back embarrassed. "Oh no! I am sorry, I mistook you for someone else." He said. He began to color. His lighter color pelt did not hide that fact from anyone.

He had met Calia his first day here, but now that he got a closer look the white pelt and red eyes and nose was really all the resemblance they had. This newcomer had longer hair and a different build than his friend. She smelled of the pack as well so it must have been someone he hadn't met before either. He turned to the tree, hoping to play on her remark to cover up his embarrassment; "I've been practicing on it everyday for months now." He said shrugging. Really it didn't take that long to wear the bark off a tree, but that was just the hard part. The rest of the tree did make it softer and less abrasive on his hands and feet. "It is just something hard to hit to help condition my arms and legs really." He added.
