...Let out the beast that you're trying to hide

Ever since this plan's inception within the darkest recesses of Malakai's mind, his entire focus and attention had been aimed towards ridding Anathema of Axelle. The black and white female had been made one of their leaders, and had already attempted to poison and possibly kill one of the packs newest members, not to mention was currently toying with Kai in order to lure him away from Elissa behind Itzal's back. Axelle posed a threat to any female he might be linked with in future, not to mention any pups he may have. Axelle had to be eliminated. And Tyko was the perfect weapon to do it with. He wanted her dead as much as Kai did, plus he had already been caught trying to sneak onto Anathema lands in order to get to his daughter. Tyko was unpredictable and vicious - a loose cannon that Kai was more than happy to aim and fire at his former flame. The pack would be better off without her, as would Malakai. And once Tyko had been used to kill Axelle, Kai would then turn his venegence upon him in the same way, under the guise of revenge for slaughtering Axelle. It all fit perfectly, as long as Tyko succeeded.

Of course, Kai had put into place certain alibi's, certain escape plans if things did go wrong. He had gone about convincing Axelle that he still loved her - if Kai's name was mentioned or suspicion arose, Axelle herself would surely defend Kai. He couldn't be involved if he had been so insistant that he wanted her back. But Malakai was confident that things would indeed go to plan. Both black males had agreed upon the plan, had agreed their parts, and both had set aside greivences to achieve a common goal. Tyko remained unaware of the latter part of Kai's master plan, the elimination of Tyko himself. Two birds, one bloody stone.

The sun had set hours ago, casting darkness over Anathema and the surrounding lands - perfect conditions for two black wolves to go about their business undetected. Adrenaline had been pounding through Kai's veins since making the decision that tonight would be the night of Axelle's death and he was beginning to grow restless as he paced back and forth in his den, in his Lupus form, like a caged animal eager to stretch his legs. Elissa had been distant for the past few days, but he knew her reasons. His closeness to Axelle, a necessary evil for his alibi to stick, had unsettled her despite his constant reassurances. Well, after tonight, the pair wouldn't need to concern themselves with Axelle again. Elissa knew of his plan, Kai had made sure to include her in every detail, knowing he could trust her not to reveal his secrets, and she knew that tonight was the night. Malakai had told her that his constantly working mind and restlessness would make him awful company until the deed was done and so he had retired to his own den until the time was right. His senses were acutely primed for every noise, every individual that passed by his den, every scent that came near, wondering if they were coming for him, if someone had found out about his plan, whether they were coming to capture him, or worse.

The hours ticked by, each one feeling longer than the one before, until he could take the waiting no more. Patience wasn't his strong point, after all. With a deep breath, Kai left the confines of his den and padded quietly through the Howling Caverns, until the fresh air swept over him. Feeling the coolness of the night against his pelt helped soothe his eager nerves, and casting his gaze across the land, he saw that everything seemed fairly still and quiet. It was late, or early depending on which way one looked at it, and so most should be curled up with their mates, happily dreaming. Malakai trotted towards Thackery village where Axelle and Itzal resided. No signs of movement that he could see. Lifting his snout, he inhaled deeply, trying to determine if Axelle and Itzal were home. If either one of them had left the house he would have caught their scents in the air, but he couldn't catch anything definate, which he hoped meant that they were both tucked up in bed, unaware.

Perfect.

Turning, Kai padded off at a light lope and headed towards the Northern border of Anathema, moving alongside it, sniffing the air every now and again as if he were patrolling. The darkness of the night helped to disguise his black pelt and at the occassional tree trunk, Kai cocked his rear leg in order to strentghen the pack scent, anothr one of his alibi's, in case he was spotted out and about - he was simply patrolling the border to check for intruders. After another hour, his keen gaze still hadn't spotted anyone out and about nearby. The time was upon them.

His large black head tipped back, and Kai let out a low howl, a warning to any strangers nearby that Anathema was off limits and that anyone caught trying to sneak over the borders would be severely dealt with. That was the signal for Tyko to respond to, though not with a howl of his own. As the sound resonated over the land, he hoped the older male heard the call to arms. This was it. All Kai could do was wait for Tyko's approach, at which point he could guide the black male into Anathema and indicate which house his daughter was in. The rest was up to Tyko.

(000) Alrighttt :) Thank youu

It was the perfect night to go prowling about. The moon was just bright enough to light the land dimly, and the air was clear. There was no rain, no clouds in the sky; he could see every star out there. Tyko quietly stalked through the night, looking for food looking for trouble, looking for some entertainment. He was bored – and having to live closer to the Anathema border for a couple days had him on edge. He didn’t like being this close and he couldn’t relax. He only slept during the day – despite his instinct to sleep during the night like everyone else around had. He lived like a feral wolf, and at night – it was his time to lurk.

Usually, he cursed himself for staying up so late and not hiding away at his den – but sometimes it paid off. Tonight had been one exceptional reason. The howl. Tyko had been at the outskirts of Ames de la Mort for a while when he heard the howl. He paused, listening to the low sound of Malakai’s voice, listening to the message his voice portrayed, and when the howl ended, he took off in that direction. Quietly of course. His running legs made little crunching noises through the dead foliage of the forest floor, but he made it to Malakai’s location without being found out or followed.

His pink eyes glittered red in the dim light, and his coat was black, so he blended nicely with the darkness. Only his gleaming eyes gave him away. He nodded to Malakai once he approached – and stopped a couple feet away from the male, but within conversational distance. ”Glad you followed through with your little plan, Malakai," he took a second to breathe. "What’s next?” The excitement was slowly welling up in his stomach – he had been cool, calm, and collected on his way there, but now he felt a little anxious about the whole thing. Finally, he would be able to get what he had wanted for a long time.

It wasn't long for the black brute to wait, but it felt like an eternity for Axelle's father to show his face. For a brief moment, Malakai feared that the older male had gone back on his word, that he had changed his mind, that he right now might be warning someone of Kai's plot simply to seek revenge for what Kai had done to his slave. His heartrate picked up just a little, his feral eyes glacing left and right, worrying whether the sly Tyko had stabbed him in the back before he had a chance to do it to him. Malakai's keen ears perked at every whisper of sound, though every now and again, the only sound he could hear was his own hammering heart.

And then he saw him.

Kai's gaze fixed upon the older black male as he approached quietly, under the cover of darkness that blanketed them both. Black pelts certainly had their advantages. At least the male had showed up which meant that the plan was going ahead. It was actually happening. By the tim the sun rose, Axelle would be dead, and with any luck, so would Tyko. Taking in a deep breath as if to steady himself, Malakai looked over the male briefly with a rough snort to his first words. "Of course I did. I could say the same to you." Both males were beeginning to feel the adrenaline and to combat the excitement that coursed through his veins, Kai shook his pelt down, ruffling his fur a little. In his Lupus form, he was smaller than his Secui, but right now, the smallr he was, the better - the harder it would be to spot him. "Next, I lead you to here house. I'll show you which she resides in. The rest is on you, Tyko. It is up to you how you deal with her or what you do, as long as she ends up dead, I don't care. But don't take too long. While you're in there with her, I'll go back a little ways and spray my scent to try to cover up yours." Kai grinned a little, lifting an eyebrow. "Unless you'd agree to me spraying you before we head into Anathema, to cover up your scent a little more?"

With a jerk of his head, he indicated the way. "When you're done with her, when you leave, I'll run with you to the borders, again to help hide your scent, but once we get ther, you're on your own." Kai was eager to get going. "You will never get this chance again, Tyko, so you had better make the most of it and finish the job properly. Ready?" Taking in a deep breath, Malakai turned and headed off at a loping pace into Anathema, sneaking Tyko over the border with him, running in the direction of Thackery Village.

As the pair approached, Malakai keeping his body low to the ground, his snout lowering to sniff at the ground briefly, the male cast another wary gaze around to ensure no signs of life lingered to catch them before padding towards Axelle and Itzal's house. Kai cocked his leg briefly to spray his Anatheman scent in the area before motioning to the older wolf which residence his target was. Kai's job now was to hang back, to keep watch on th area and to allow Tyko to slither into Axelle's home to slaughter her and so he hung back into the shadows of a nearby building, watching the older black male closely.

+17 Primarily, Tyko's reply, but I just merged the two since both Axe & Tyko are in this one now. Prepare yourselves for this monsterous post! Itzal can start posting noww :)

For a while, the excitement was making Tyko sick as he stood there before Malakai still trying to convince himself that this was real and he wasn’t dreaming. Tyko growled a little, in defense to Malakai’s statement. Though, the sound wasn’t too serious. After all, this man did help him get what he wanted in the first place. ”What do you mean? Do you think I would pass up an opportunity like this?” He flashed a fang in Malakai’s direction, listened to the male’s instruction quietly, and growled once more when he offered to pee on him. That time the growl was more serious; and he was happy that the wolf didn’t actually try to advance on him and do it. ”No, I rolled around by the borders before I came. I should be good with scent.” It was disgusting, but it was better than being caught.

When Malakai asked if he was ready, all he did was bow his head and follow the man. Did he really need to answer that? Yes and no at the same time. Yes because he had been waiting for this for a long time, and no because it was truly fucking happening. He wasn’t mentally prepared and no matter how long he waited, he would never be completely mentally prepared. Malakai’s instructions really meant nothing to him. He knew how to kill – he’d murdered two other strong women before without much of a fuss; what kind of challenge would Axelle be with the element of surprise on his side?

Tyko traveled with his head low and eyes glued to the ground when he followed Malakai. Maybe if he was lucky, they would just think he was her mate or some other black wolf in the pack. Certainly, they wouldn’t be able to tell him apart from afar unless they looked at his face. Malakai led him to just outside of the building – a nice house where her scent emanated from within. A very toothy grin stretched across Tyko’s maw and he advanced forward towards the house – giving Malakai a nod before leaving his sight. He quickly dodged toward the side of the house and looked for a window to the basement. Somehow, he had this all planned out. Somehow, he knew her house would have a basement. All houses had basements.

Luckily, he came prepared. He was in his Lupus form, which made him small and compact. He found a decrepit window and pushed it open with a paw. It squeaked, but not loud enough to wake the dead or anyone else inside of the house. At first, Tyko stuck his head inside – he couldn’t see much but the reflection of water on the floor. He couldn’t tell how much water though. So, instead, he just slithered through the window – landing on a table right underneath and luckily not making too much noise. He landed on the waterlogged furniture with a light thud, and then froze listening to the voices upstairs and the footsteps. There were a couple footsteps – only one pair and they didn’t sound too heavy which meant only one thing. It had to be Axelle on the first floor. He couldn’t hear Itzal’s voice, but he could hear her calling to him – wherever he was. Itzal was somewhere within the house, but he wasn’t on the first floor.

After listening for a couple minutes, the footsteps stopped and everything fell silent. Tyko carefully tried to step off of the table, not knowing what kind of table it was and not knowing how deep the water was. He landed with a splash into the dirty, stagnant water. Ugh! He couldn’t help himself. He was swimming in it to keep his head just above it. He needed to shift. Sloshing over to the table he first landed on, he put a paw upon it which helped him stay afloat and keep his head above the surface while his legs elongated. Shifting only took his a couple of minutes, which he stood perfectly still until his body was completely ready to move. Then he moved around the basement, finding an old cabinet (despite the blanket of darkness) and finding an old dagger inside. What luck! Tyko smiled to himself and kept the dagger in his left hand while he quietly sloshed to the basement steps. They were wooden, and creaky, but he silently managed to slither up them while listening to the sounds coming from the door. His target was to his right, somewhere. He needed to get up there as fast as he could while she was still in one place. The element of surprise was on his side today.

Meanwhile, Axelle was in her kitchen with her back to that basement door (which had no type of lock, yet) cutting meat and putting them in jars to store away for another day. She had five empty jars put away to the side of her counter, and on the other side she plopped the last few pieces of raw deer meat into one of them before screwing the lid closed. Then she moved another jar closer to her and began sticking meat into that jar. Itzal had been upstairs relaxing and she was about to join him as soon as she was done.

Finishing up her current jar, she put the two finished ones in the cabinet above her workspace. As she closed the door, she smelled this foul odor. She continued her work, thinking maybe it was the air that came in through the window or something – but the scent just kept getting worse. Maybe the basement door blew open… Sometimes on windy nights, that happened. She put the dagger down on the counter behind her and turned to head towards the door when a wet, black looming frame pushed her against the counter and wrapped his foul-smelling, wet hands around her throat. She tried to scream, but the monster’s grip on her throat was so tight that no sound emitted from it. Tyko stood in her kitchen, before her, squeezing the air out of her as she looked up into those magenta eyes that were so similar to her own. His face sported a wicked smile – something that looked almost victorious.

Getting cocky, she could tell, he switched from choking her with two hands, to one and holding her up by her neck off of the floor. She still couldn’t breathe, but she managed to gasp while clawing the shit out of his arm and wet chest, ”How the fuck did you get in here!” Tyko just smiled, holding her up and pressing her up against the counter and cabinets behind her now. She remembered the dagger that now rested underneath her rump as she tried to give herself some leverage so she wasn’t completely hanging by her throat. He got real close to her face, while bringing the cold blade of the dagger to her throat and pressing roughly. ”Now, I would love to kill you and just get it over with… but that’s never any fun. I think I’d like to see you suffer a little before I set you free.” Then he took the blade away from her throat and plunged it into her chest – just missing her heart. The sound was the worst part – the popping sound of tearing flesh right underneath her ear. The pain was horrendous, and before she fell off the counter to her knees to grasp her pouring chest, she swiftly grabbed her knife and took it down with her. She fell at his feet on her hands and knees clasping her chest. The blood just poured out through her hands and onto the kitchen floor and she was honestly scared. It hurt like a bitch, but she was still alive. She somehow hid the knife under one of her bent legs, and as Tyko looked onto her back, laughing at her pain, she drove the knife into his calf.

Her father screamed and stumbled backwards, and luckily she was able to reclaim her knife before he pulled away from her. Tyko snarled, and looked onto his daughter with murderous eyes. And before he was able to reclaim her throat – she screamed. Loud. Hopefully, Itzal would get the fucking message and come with a goddamn knife because seriously. She was going to die in her damn kitchen. Tyko came prepared this time – he caught her with the element of surprise, and she was fucked at this point. She was pouring out life essence all over the place, and he had her by the throat in a vice grip pinned against the refrigerator now. One hand held her by the throat, again lifting her off of the floor, and the other held her hand with the dagger. She was blindsided by the pain she was in, and somehow, she couldn’t get a grip on the man like last time. Or all the other times before that. How the hell was she losing already?

Using all of her strength, Axelle tried to manipulate her hand to just turn enough to – there! She managed to get her wrist unpinned from the fridge, twist it so that he lost his grip on it, and slice a good gash into his abdomen. Sadly, it wasn’t deep enough to spill his guts all over the floor like she had done to Leon, but it was enough to see him dripping just as much red liquid as she was now. Though, somehow, despite the obvious pain he had to have been in now, he still held her against that damn refrigerator. Now, he pushed his body up against her, allowing his blood to seep onto her fur as well. ”This is where it gets fun, my daughter,” his tone was venomous and before she heard the last steps coming down the stairs, he slid the knife carefully under her right breast, slicing a clean gash over her rib cage and then plunged the knife into her side. Axelle screamed, feeling the cold metal now inside of her body. She cringed, holding her now bleeding rib cage along with her bleeding chest and soon-to-be bleeding everything else. She wanted to crumple to the floor and hold her wounds, but she knew she had to be strong. Tyko, in whatever state he was in, was too much to take on all alone. She needed to help Itzal.

The bed creaked a little as Itzal shifted his weight on it, waiting for Axelle to come up and join him. His knives sat on the nightstand beside him, his throwing knives in the drawers and his sword leaning against the wall off to his left, near the door. He closed his eyes and sighed softly, wondering how much more meat Axelle had to slice up. Eztli growled at him, irritable because Itzal had not let him out at all lately, even a little. Itzal hadn't hunted for another predator lately, and Eztli was feeling unsettled. He wanted to be out in the woods searching for a loner to kill. But Itzal had been sticking closer to home lately, due to Tyko's little adventures onto the pack lands. Next time the male attacked the borders, he wanted to be ready. So Eztli had gone unsatisfied and displeased. Like Itzal gave a fuck. Until it got to the point he couldn't control Eztli, or Tyko was killed, the monster inside of him would just have to be ignored. But damn could Eztli bitch. With a growl Itzal rolled onto his side and laid his head on his hand, closing his eyes. The black hybrid began to doze softly while he waited for his mate to come and lay down beside him.

**********

Yellow eyes flew open as Itzal heard a scream of pain that was completely foreign to him. It sounded like a male. The scream that followed just seconds after it was the one that truly make Itzal's hair stand on end and made him snarl. It was Axelle. And from the sound of it, she was in a lot of pain. Itzal could figure out enough from what he'd heard. There was an intruder in their home, and while Axelle was fighting back, she was hurt bad. Jumping out of bed, the sounds of a fight becoming clearer to his ears now that he was aware of what was going on below him, Itzal grabbed both his Sultan's knives off the stand beside the bed and sprinted out the door of his and Axelle's bedroom, turning to the stairs and taking them two at a time. Axelle screamed right as Itzal entered the room, snarling at the sight before him. Tyko stood in front of him, holding his mate against the refrigerator. Itzal could see blood all over the floor and counters, and he could see some of the wounds Axelle had sustained. Part of him had known it was Tyko in their house. Who the fuck else?

Itzal lunged forward and snarled, swinging his left arm around and flicking his wrist, sliding his knife into position around his fingers before slamming it firmly into the side of Tyko's body, the blade sinking into the male's flesh, right under his arm that was holding Axelle by the throat. His other first slammed itself into the Tyko's side again and again, the handle of his knife serving the purpose of a kind of brass knuckles kinda of weapon. With a cry of pain and a growl Itzal saw Tyko release Axelle, her form crumbling to the floor. Itzal stepped back. He wanted to help Axelle but knew he couldn't until Tyko was dealt with. Snarling softly Itzal quickly to the side and forward, circling so he was on the side he had just attacked, and stepped in to slash at the male's upper arm. Itzal cut him, but he didn't get the purchase on the male's flesh taht he wanted to, that could cause his blade to cripple the male's arm. Stepping back again Itzal growled. He needed to hurry up and do something that could do some serious damage, because each second he wasted on the black male was another second that Axelle's blood flowed from her body. Fuck. This was bad.

Malakai had watched with heightened interest as his temporary partner in crime kept his form low to the ground as he approached Axelle's residence. The Anatheman had pointed out which house was hers and had only now to wait patiently until Tyko had done what needed to be done. Patience wasn't a virtue that Malakai had been blessed with much of, but on this occassion, there wasn't much else he could do. If he broke cover too much, while it wouldn't look suspicious for an Anatheman to be slinking around the village at such a late hour, once Axelle's body was discovered, it would only take one mention of his name for suspicion to be pointed towards him. Similarly neither could he climb into the house to help Tyko get rid of his daughter. If anyone spotted him, his careful planning and preperation would have been for nothing. No. His part of the task had been done - aim Tyko towards Axelle like he were some sort of weapon and fire...

Excitement coursed through the black male's veins, anticipation rippling over his pelt. Tyko vanished inside the house, Kai's ears pricking a little as he heard the splash of water before all went silent for another moment longer. Kai's heart was racing, and dspite knowing that he had to remain still and out of sight, his paws itched and padded at the ground, eager for the deed to be done, to catch the scent of Axelle's blood on the air, to see Tyko's blood drenched form emerge victorious so that the pair could escape to the border. Except Kai could quickly turn from Tyko's partner in crime to his executioner.

A scream ripped through the silence, the stillness in the air, and every muscle in Malakai's form tensed and twitched. It hadn't come from Axelle. It belonged to Tyko. His muzzle broke into a snarl. What was going on in there? Why hadn't Tyko simply snuck up on the female and killed her quickly as he had been instructed? The plan wasn't going well - immediatly, Kai's alibi ran through his mind. No-one knew of his involvement besides Tyko. But then, before his thoughts ran away with him, another call of pain, this time from the right throat. Axelle. Obviously there was a fight, and Tyko had failed to fully utilise the advantage Kai had given him. No matter. The plan could still work. All Tyko had to do was finish Axelle, wound here enough that she bled out even, though it wasn't ideal. Malakai's paws scratched and padded at the dirt, eager to se what was happening, to know who was injured, who was winning. Would a triumphant Tyko emerge, or a bloody Axelle, or perhaps a furious Itzal? All Kai could do was wait.

+11 LOL, Kai’s outside on the sidelines being itchy.

Axelle tried to keep a firm stare into Tyko’s eyes, tried to keep his attention on her so that when Itzal finally came – he wouldn’t be ready to defend himself. Luckily, whatever made Tyko so cocky was also blocking him from thinking too smartly – even though sneaking up on her was a bright move. He kept his eyes on her, watching her writhe in pain, slowly taking the blade out of her wound only to slice another cut into her stomach – but a shallow one. He liked how she quietly winced when she felt the white hot sting of another cut. He was reminded of how her mother died – she held that same toughness that Axelle had. He knew that slowly killing Axelle would be the right thing to do – and it would be fun watching her die.

Tyko slid the cool blade up and down her rib cage, taunting and teasing and also wiping the blood off on her fur. Her bones showed through her thin skin from the position that he had her pinned against the kitchen appliance. They were ever so tempting – he just wanted to drive the knife in there between one of those spaces and watch her gush, but she was already gushing and he didn’t want her to die so quickly. While teasing her, he wondered where he should stab her next. In the other side of her ribs? Nah, too original. Maybe in the leg so she couldn’t run away if she ever escaped his death grip. Yeah, that sounded about right. As Tyko pushed her harder against the fridge – even tipping the fridge back a bit against the wall, he leaned down to trail the knife down her oblique muscles and then down her pelvis to one of her thighs. Axelle scrambled and dug her nails into his wrist, even scratched away at one of his strong legs with her other leg that wasn’t being tortured – but nothing was helping.

And then she saw Itzal fly through the doorway like a bat out of Hell. With three swift movements, he stabbed Tyko and then jabbed him in his wound twice.

Promptly, Tyko let go of Axelle and she fell from her high position against the refrigerator to the cold, hard, blood-soaked floor. She landed on her ass, but slumped to her side holding her wounds in pain, looking up at the boys fighting. Tyko had screamed once he felt the cold blade enter his flesh and snarled once Itzal removed the blade and punched him in the same area. Clutching his side with his free hand, he took his own dagger and limped toward the troublesome black wolf. With another clean swipe, Itzal managed to cut the bulky arm that held his new wound – but the slice was so shallow that it barely inflicted Tyko. He looked down at the skinny line of blood that started forming and laughed. ”This is cute. Come down from your nest upstairs to save your woman?” He quickly moved out of the way from another of Itzal’s sudden advances on him. His bleeding leg protested and he almost whimpered again from the pain, but managed to hold it in. He was able to dodge this one. ”Well, I’ll let you in on a little secret - we’re keeping bets on how long she survives. I say she dies in the first half hour.” Tyko was never one to keep his mouth completely closed – he wasn’t trusted with keeping secrets; even if he did get something out of this one. What secret did he need to keep after he was through with Axelle? A large, malicious smile etched into his face as he hobbled toward Itzal again. He was in pain, and his movements were… handicapped – but he was still pretty fast, despite it all. He lashed out the arm with the dagger and hoped to land a quick stab right into the Itzal’s side – at least a shallow one. He was definitely close enough to hit something.

Meanwhile, on the floor, Axelle looked up at them with weary eyes. The two men were fighting – their minds were off of her for a moment. That was good. She had a moment to recuperate. Or something. Whatever lying on your kitchen floor bleeding out was called. Slowly, she tried to sit up at least to her ass – but the room jumped out at her every time she moved suddenly. So, instead of trying to get up, she just laid her head carefully back onto the floor in the growing puddle of blood around her. Both sides of her fur were caked with blood, but at the moment, she was alive – in pain – but anxious to get this son of a bitch. She could feel her wounds searing and the blood leaking from them. How was she in this position already? If only she knew.

Tyko slowly prowled around Itzal, both wolves facing each other. He was quick to start heading back to Axelle’s direction, slowly. He hoped Itzal wouldn’t notice his course of direction, but it seemed her mate was smart. He knew what evil actions he was planning – so he swiftly limped over to her again, and bent down to grab her roughly by the hair. Once he had a firm grip on her blood-matted hair and her head in an uncomfortable, taut position, he began dragging her across the kitchen floor. Axelle made no sound, but it was clear on her face that she didn’t like getting dragged by her hair. Her sinful creator snapped her neck back and stood behind her now – holding that cold knife to her exposed, two-toned throat again. She could look nowhere but up into Itzal’s eyes – and she didn’t even know what her own facial expression might have looked like at that point. ”One move, and she’s dead.” Tyko’s voice was poisonous, and Axelle decided that she didn’t want to hear it anymore.

Luckily, the stupid wolf forgot that she still had that dagger in her hands, and when he dragged her across the floor, it came with her. As he held her by the hair tightly, it hid underneath her outstretched leg and as he looked up to threaten Itzal, she took it out and stabbed him in the thigh with it. The other leg. Now he went down, and Axelle scrambled away with her dagger to behind Itzal’s legs. She knew her mate would die trying to protect her – and right now, all she needed was a few minutes. It would have been a good time to climb on top of him and slit his throat then and there – but he still had that damn dagger.

She didn’t feel like getting disemboweled today.

Axelle’s bi-colored eyes watched him as he snarled and attempted to get up. He snarled as he finally was back on two legs again, but he now clutched all the decommissioned kitchen appliances and counters around to keep himself from falling over. ”Come on, Axelle. You and I both know a couple stab wounds aren’t going to keep me down.” The snarl was so stretched on his maw that he had a tough time speaking as he normally would. He was angry. Both his legs were fucked, and it wouldn’t be long now before Itzal got him back on the floor again. The only problem was that it would be highly unlikely that he would ever let go of that fucking dagger now. The Napier woman stayed back studying the current situation that was unfolding before her eyes – looking for that opening, that one opportunity.

Death is about to come a knocking. >:D

Itzal snarled as the male opened his eyes to taunt and push at Itzal with his words. But Itzal didn't care, didn't fully hear them. He was just barely hanging onto the needed control that would let him think straight, that would let him fight and think. If he let Tyko goad him then he'd lose it, and attack wildly and without a true purpose other than to hurt the male, to kill him. And that kind of fighting would only get Itzal killed against someone like Tyko. Despite his wounds Tyko was still dangerous, and Itzal growled as the male started moving towards him. As he lashed out Itzal felt Tyko's dagger sink into his side a little, causing him to wince and snarl. Tyko pulled the dagger out and Itzal growled, baring his teeth as he began to move, searching for an opening, trying to make sure his mind didn't wander to his bleeding mate, while also trying to keep the fight away from her. But Tyko managed to get close enough to Axelle that he turned and limped to her before Itzal could make him back away. Itzal snarled as he saw the other black male grab his mate by her hair and drag her across the floor. It took all of Itzal's will power not to throw himself at the male. But as long as he had Axelle like that, Itzal couldn't risk it. Fuck!

As Tyko held the dagger to Axelle's throat Itzal wanted nothing more than to plunge his knives into the man's eyeballs and force them out the otherside of his skull. But he was powerless with his mate's life on the line, growling and baring his teeth, unable to stop due to how pissed off he was. But also he was slightly afraid. He didn't know what to do, he was powerless. Tyko had him. But just as he was starting to worry, Axelle came to her own rescue. As she stabbed her father in the thigh and scrambled away from him and behind Itzal, he moved and stood in front of her protectively, snarling. He smirked slightly though, watching Tyko struggle to get up, holding himself up using the counters. Even as he spoke, Itzal knew Tyko was losing. He had take some serious wounds now. Even if by some miracle Tyko were to kill Itzal and Axelle, he would never get out of Anathema with all those wounds. And if he did, all that blood would leave the perfect trail to follow the second his scent was caught. It was over. But Itzal didn't intend on letting Tyko leave this house, or intend on dying. With a smug smirk across his face and a snarl, Itzal lunged forward and slammed Tykos arm that was holding the dagger against a counter, using his body to press his arm against the counter. The he stabbed Tyko in the chest, on the opposite side of his heart. He smirked as he felt his knife sink into the flesh there, feeling a rib crack under the force of the blow. Itzal was lucky Tyko's legs were so weak. The weight of his body against the male's side and arm had been enough to make him struggle to stay standing. Which gave Itzal the time to get in and out. He stood back in front of Axelle and smirked, looking at the male who now bled from his chest, which a rib that was at least cracked, if not broken, his legs wounded, and his sides bleeding. Itzal had begun to enjoy this as the fates slowly seemed to tip in his and Axelle's favor. Tyko would die in their house. And the best part was, he had delivered himself here.

+5 it wont be that easy!

It wasn’t ‘cowering’ that Axelle was doing behind Itzal – it was watching. Right now, she had been the uninvolved one on the sidelines while the boys fought, but she was watching for the right moment, watching for Itzal, and watching for Tyko’s end. It was true, now that both his legs were wounded and he had a good stab wound on his side, he was crumbling. He was losing slowly – and it was all due to the fact that he decided to come to their house today. If he had come when Itzal wasn’t home, maybe the situation would have been more in his favor.

But thankfully it wasn’t.

As Tyko paid more attention to leaning on the counter to keep his weakened legs steady, Itzal moved in for a shot at him. Axelle’s heart leaped as she eyed that dagger in her father’s hand and her mate heading towards him. However, before Tyko could react and stab Itzal, her mate slammed his arm against the counter and Tyko instantaneously, from the force of impact, dropped the knife. It dropped off of the counter and skittered away on the kitchen floor, stopping in a puddle of Axelle’s blood by the original spot that this all started. Axelle crawled from her spot on the floor and took the knife, sliding it behind her so it bounced off the wall and slid underneath the decommissioned stove. There was no way he would be able to get that now.

While Itzal was busy dancing away from the now fatally injured Tyko (he was catching up to the rest of them), Axelle looked up to find Tyko sinking to the floor holding his leaking chest. ”Yeah! How does it feel, ya son of a bitch?!” She yelled at him from behind Itzal while trying carefully to get up. Her wounds still screamed at her, but it was something that had to be done now. It was time. Tyko was weaponless and it was only a matter of time before he died. Pushing herself up off of the counter, she got to her feet and limped toward him. Promptly, she climbed on top of him – not thinking of how much stronger he was than her – and attempted to stab the knife into his neck. Despite his wounds, he easily stopped her arm and punched her side wound with his free hand. Axelle screamed, and brought a heavy fist down on his head – in which he did the same to her – rocking her in the nose, and knocking her backwards off of him. She slammed hard on the blood-stained linoleum floor on her back and her dagger flew out of her hand, again sliding across the floor towards Itzal. Then Tyko climbed on top of her and began to choke her, but she used her legs to claw at his already blood abdomen and kick him back. She continued punching him, but she couldn’t land successful ones because of the position she was now in. The air around his big ugly face was starting to get dotty as she was slowly fading out from the absence of oxygen. She pushed at him with all her might and squeezed her eyes shut.

And then there was a release…

Sorry for making you wait so long.

Word Count → 000

Itzal's chest was rising and falling with each breath he took, Adrenaline pumping through his body as he growled and grinned, enjoying this. The tide had changed for Tyko. Tyko had lost, that much Itzal knew. Even if he did manage to get away, if he somehow got out of their house, possibly even defeated them, Tyko's life would still end tonight. His wounds were too severe for him to escape the pack lands unnoticed. His blood would give his scent to anyone nearby. He would collapse some where, and someone in Anathema would find him, and he would be killed. But that wasn't enough for Itzal. Even knowing that, Itzal wouldn't let that happen. Tyko would die here, in his and Axelle's home. He had brought himself to his own execution. And Itzal intended to make sure that sentencing was carried out.

The black male's eyes never left Tyko as he watched the male sink to the floor. He heard Axelle behind him and he smirked. Then he heard her get up and he looked back at her, growling softly. But then he remembered that this was something Axelle needed to do. This was her revenge. He stopped growling at her and instead moved next to her protectively as she climbed on top of Tyko. But he could see that even wounded as he was, Tyko could still fight against Axelle. As Tyko punched her and pushed her back off of him Itzal snarled, stepping forward but wincing as he felt the wound on his side start to bleed more. He had torn it a little from all the strain he was putting on it. But he growled and ignored the pain, seeing Tyko choking Axelle made Itzal snarl again and lunge forward. Itzal's fist slammed into the side of Tyko's jaw as Itzal drove himself into Tyko. The force of his punch and his weight knocked Tyko off of Axelle, sending him sliding across the blood stained floor with Itzal half crouched beside him. Itzal tightened his grip on one of his Sultan knives and lashed out at Tyko's face, cutting along his cheek and jaw. Before Itzal could see how bad the wound was he felt Tyko's fist hit the side of his head, causing him to growl and wince with pain. Itzal moved back, shaking his head and flicking his ears, moving to stand back and look down at Tyko, his teeth bared and his eyes glowing with the desire to kill the black male. But he knew that he couldn't claim that reward. It belong to Axelle. But if she didn't hurry up and do something, Itzal was going to kill her father himself, and say damn to the consequences. He'd rather have her pissed off at him than have her dead. And it looked like the longer this dragged on, the closer her and her father both came to ending up that way. And if it dragged on for too long, he would probably end up dead too. Something had to give, and soon.
