- Ever Mayawyn - 06-05-2010
By the sea. Open for everyone and anyone
The rain came hard and heavy in thick sheets that blanketed Ever's pelt. She gave up attempting to shake off the water when it coated her pelt faster than she could protest. This weather, once again, filled her with angst. But it wouldn't stop her from settling the argument she was having with her empty stomach. The rain had washed away the useful scents of prey. Ever cursed when she once again lost a scent trail into a puddle. She thrust her muzzle up in anger and howled a howl that would likely have shattered the moon. She grunted, her breath quivering like mist in the air. .character-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#000000; letter-spacing:1px; } .character-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .character-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .character-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:290px; background-color:#c3947a; background-image:url(http://i49.tinypic.com/esng3t.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:2px dotted #000000; padding: 400px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#000000; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Colibri Haki - 06-08-2010
The pelting rain was driving her further and further from home. Colibri padded along on all fours, coat dark with rainwater and hanging heavy on her small frame. She had been straying more and more from her Crimson Dreams haven, almost consciously tempting the fates to throw some trouble her way. And yet, she was still fine... She didn't really know what to do with herself. She was completely avoiding Anu, hadn't even seen her face recently, which was fine. Wasn't it fine? She told herself it was, anyway. If they never talked about it, it never happened, right? Wresting with the denial of a break-up, Coli continued her lonely trek without paying attention to where she was going.
- Ever Mayawyn - 06-09-2010
Hello there!
The sea was blurred by the rain that whirled in front of the grey females make-shift shelter, turning her into a dark smudge of the horizon. Ever bit into her prey and fed eagerly, wiping away the feathers from her muzzle. Her body felt warm beneath her soaked fur until a small shape rammed into her side. The female jumped up quickly and yelped in surprise her hackles raised. She didn't suspect anyone to be out in the weather. Her sudden movement had put her back out in the storm and a growl arouse from her throat and she scurried, head down into the shelter. She looked up to see a small wolf huddled and wet on the beach. Colorless eyes stared at her wearily. Ever kept a comfortable distance, shaking from the cold and her nerves. .character-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ffffff; letter-spacing:1px; } .character-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .character-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .character-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:536px; background-color:# e0c1ac; background-image:url(http://i49.tinypic.com/9bitrr.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:2px solid #111111; padding: 400px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#111111; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Colibri Haki - 06-11-2010
Colibri's startled eyes flashed open, ears clapped flat against her skull as she whirled about. What, who was out there? Her heart flew up to her throat, nerves leaving her mouth dry and her stomach in knots. The relentless drumming rain blurred her weary vision, but it didn't take long to locate the silhouette of another wolf in the rain. Coli edged backwards until the tree bumped against her haunches, giving her something to steady her quaking form. The last time another wolf's fangs had touched her hide, they had torn her tail from her body. It was impossible to forget that lesson.
In that moment, lightning flashed, illuminating the beach in its eerie white light. As the thunder boomed and spat around them, she could clearly see the other female -- younger but larger, adopting an aggressive if slightly desperate expression. Coli on the other hand was huddled against the tree's trunk, looking small and wet and terrified. Maybe she could talk her way out of a confrontation. Licking her lips nervously, trying to find her voice, the dark-furred wolf called hoarsely, "I m-mean you no harm! I... was just looking for sh-shelter." Everything was cast in shadow as the lightning flash faded, and Coli kept her ears strained forward, trying to catch the telltale sound of an approaching attacker. If the stranger lunged, Coli could dart behind the tree, that would buy her a few seconds... The weather conditions were wreaking havoc with her anxiety, though, every little noise was making her jump. - Ever Mayawyn - 06-11-2010
Oh yes, I am and thank you. Your writing is nice too!
Ever quivered as the wind brought a wave of rain drops washing over her head and slicked her fur to her sides. The female could clearly see that the storm had guided the frozen female away from her territory. She most likely had no idea where she was. Ever's eyes still stood out, blazing in the lightening, even as it died down and left the world black. She could barely hear the soothing sound of the ocean thrashing on the shore as the rain and wind moaned into a horrible nightmare. They chased each other down the beach and blasted their icy breath into the female's faces, sending them staggering backward. .character-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ffffff; letter-spacing:1px; } .character-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .character-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .character-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:521px; background-color:#333b3e ; background-image:url(http://i45.tinypic.com/i4ljdl.jpg); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:2px dotted #ffffff; padding: 398px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#111111; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
|
