It was getting dark out as he moved and there were no new scents around the cave thankfully. Godric didn't go inside right away, instead he made a once over of the general area to make sure there were no incoming scents but he could tell that rain was on its way again for the rest of the night. He heaved and he smiled, knowing all his and her scents would be washed away by morning. She was long gone now and in a matter of days, they could move north to more safer areas and he could create the family he was meant to have. He had not considered what would happen if she did not produce males for him, now wondering if it was all apart of the females problem. If he returned with a male child and her in hand, his former mate would be punished—if not killed—for being unable to produce males.
That thought made him happy, knowing he would want to have the honors himself. He left the smile on his features as he moved, entering the cave and looking over dark form. He tossed the rabbit on the ground before he turned to find his satchel, pulling out two candles and matches he hoped weren't damp. He passed a city on the way down here and gathered items he might need. He let the candles and the cave illuminated, a little dangerous but he felt safe enough with the rain coming that no one would approach. "Good evening," he said with a laugh, grinning, and put the herbs to the side as he watched her bound form. - Caprica D'Angelo - 06-13-2010
Table by Shannon.
She hated this feeling of helplessness. It engulfed her and pierced the pit of her stomach. It was more overpowering than even the fear of the unknown. She had no idea what his intentions were, but she had no doubt that she would not like them at all. But how could she stop him? Her worrying increased with each passing minute. The rain beat on steadily, and she knew that it would erase their scents and her paw prints. If she could not get herself away, then she would have to rely on someone else to rescue her. But how could that be a possibility when physical evidence of her location was being erased? The D'Angelo girl did not bother to turn her head when he first entered the cave. She was already hyper aware of her captor's presence. His dark presence had edged his way inside of her mind too; he filled her thoughts as surely as his presence filled the dark cave they currently inhabited. When her verbally greeted her, she turned her gem colored eyes in his direction, craning her neck painfully from her prone position. Why did he even bother speaking to her, when she was unable to respond in kind? The answer was obvious; he spoke only to hear his own voice and to revel in the satisfaction of having the upper hand. Still, it stung - and the blows her pride was receiving were almost as painful as her bonds. She did not react violently, did not strain against her bonds. Instead she remained still, calmer, quieter, and more docile, but the fury in her eyes showed that she was far from broken. .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-13-2010
He leaned forward a little further and lifted his hand, he was not necessarily close to her face but he was waiting for some kind of response. He wasn't going to do it if she started to fight or if he saw doubt in her eyes. But even if he did, all she could do was scream and bite if he were too close. He could take her life if she chose to scream, so that wouldn't have been a smart option for her anyway. - Caprica D'Angelo - 06-13-2010
Table by Shannon.
At the mention of possibly eating, her traitorous stomach issued a deep rumble. Caprica closed her eyes for a moment and her jaw tensed, briefly humiliated by her body betraying itself. But she opened her eyes once more to regard him steadily. She had no choice and no defenses in this situation, but she would not allow her own sense of shame to defeat her, because he had already defeated her in every other way. Her heart was pounding as a result of his nearness, and she almost did not want to know what his questions were. But at the same time, having this twisted little interview might grant her with some information and shed some light on why he had abducted her in the first place. Caprica stared at him for a moment more and swallowed the fear, swallowed the fierce need to tear at him to get away, and strived for calm. Then she nodded her assent once quietly, waiting to see if he would actually go through with this. .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-13-2010
He put both hands where the knot was and pulled; he was not gentle about it at all. He shimmed the knot and finding it was tighter than he thought and making it difficult. It loosened slightly but finally he managed and unlocked it from her nose. "There," he said and pulled back quickly to avoid any bites she might have. He kept the rope close at hand and leaned back against the wall. He gave her a few seconds to test out the renewed movement, his eyes glinting with pleasure at her bounds. It was all coming together. "I obviously know you are hungry," he said with a little laugh because he thought he was funny.
Godric grabbed at the rabbit and tore meat from it. He was going to use a different approach. Since she could not harm him, he would not harm her (for now), and so he made himself comfortable as he tore muscle away from the skeleton of the rabbit. He pulled a large (well, large for the size of the meal) piece of meat from the back of the rabbit and scooted it closer to her. She would have to move for it because he was going to avoid putting his body near her teeth if he could help it. "Can you shift?" he suddenly asked, flicking his ears forward for an answer but he waited patiently to see if she would answer before or after her bite. - Caprica D'Angelo - 06-13-2010
Table by Shannon.
He released her maw roughly. The rope chafed her nose and she yipped a bit at the unexpected pain. The sound was muffled by her still closed mouth. And finally, when her mouth was free, she let her jaw hang open for a moment, moving it slowly as she regained mastery over it. It hurt to move it, but the pain was worth her freedom. And still, she decided to remain silent and to watch him carefully. She briefly considered lashing out at him, but realized that she would lose her small measure of freedom, and so she decided on silence and stillness. And finally, the much anticipated question came. It seemed like an odd question. What would it matter if she could shift or if she couldn't? No matter her form, he had her bound, and therefore she could do nothing. "No, I can't yet," she answered shortly and then she inched her way toward the pro-offered meat on the floor. It was humiliating to have to wiggle that way, but she finally seized the meaty morsel in between her teeth and gnashed them viciously, some blood dribbling down her mandible in the process. .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-13-2010
"You're going to need to," he said, growling, as she took in the meat. He pulled a slice off for him and chewed, and another for her. "I couldn't tell you what sets it off, but for your own safety, you might want to work on it," he told her, his lips curling up. He would make her shift if he had to, beat her until she did, make sure she lived in pain. He had no idea what set wolves and coyotes off to be able to shift, as if it were a switch in their body. It naturally happened to him and he was a few months shy of a year. He had not been able to go into battle until he could.
He pushed the meat toward her a little so she could get it. "You'll live in torture until you do," he said, his voice raising and he lifted himself a little to make sure he was hovering over her threateningly. His golden eyes stared down at her, his patience running loose in a matter of seconds. - Caprica D'Angelo - 06-13-2010
Table by Shannon.
His words threatened her. He did not say outright what he would do, but she could guess well enough. There were spots on her body where her own blood had dried from his attacks. She was certain that he was capable of inflicting more damage. That was not an idea that Caprica relished at all. She looked at him shrewdly, despite the terror which inspired some fine tremors as she reached half-defiantly and half-tentatively toward the meat. After she chewed quickly and swallowed, she considered her captor again. "I think, in order for me to do wh-what you want," Caprica swallowed the stammer in her voice and continued with more confidence, despite the fear the lent an edge to her voice. "You'll need to untie me. Shifting is supposed to come all natural and shit, I think, and being tied up ain't natural to me." .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-13-2010
"All I gotta say is you find a way to adjust to it because I'm not letting you go. I can tie your face right back up if I have to," he threatened, though he was sure she would try and lash out at him. But he would kick her right back down, break her body if he had to. He didn't care for her well being, only enough so that she would be healthy enough to carry his children. "What you don't know is I can take care of you. Better than anyone else, but your resistance is only going to have the shit beat out of you," he told her, glaring hard at her bound form. - Caprica D'Angelo - 06-14-2010
Table by Shannon.
His last statement mystified her the most. What did he mean by that, exactly? If it was his intention to hurt her, to kill her, he obviously would have already. For some reason, he wanted her here and under his thumb. He wanted to "take care of her," which was the opposite of doing away with her. But why? "What are your reasons?" Caprica asked. She was absolutely in the dark, and she didn't understand. "What do ya want me to do?" If he had wanted to do something to her or with her, he would have done it already. Right? This didn't make sense at all. .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-14-2010
"The only thing you need to know is that you need to shift," he said in a tone that reeked of anger but he said it as evenly as he could. He leaned back against the wall and watched her for only a moment. Maybe she would try now, maybe she wouldn't, he didn't know, but he knew he wasn't going to sit around. He untangled his legs and got to his knees, grabbing the rope. He pulled his lips back in an evil smile that showed his teeth and he pulled the rope back for when he moved. If she objected to anything, disagreed, or whatever that did not please him, her mouth would be tied again. He knew if she did shift, the bounds would not be well on her. They would be tighter than they would before and he would be prepared to adjust them, but only if she did what he wanted her to do. - Caprica D'Angelo - 06-14-2010
Table by Shannon.
Her options were so obviously limited. Caprica swallowed the taste of bile in her throat. She hated his elusive answers and that she did not know what he wanted. Perhaps possessing the knowledge of whatever he desired from her would be terrifying, but at least it would empower her to act, should she get the opportunity. Frustration welled up inside of her, but she fought not to let it show on her face. Sighing, and realizing that there was only one way to come closer to this dangerous information, she closed her eyes. Her brow furrowed as she concentrated, but found that she was too uncomfortable to focus. Without opening her eyes, the black furred girl shifted her bound legs and then rolled on to her back, her bound limbs coming up into the air awkwardly. Maybe she would be more comfortable this way.... .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-14-2010
The Valley wolfess abhorred everything about this situation. Her legs ached to run, although she was fatigued from fright and her previous struggles. As she searched the backs of her eyelids for answers, she vowed that she would leave here and leave his possession. And if she were able to hurt or disable him, all the better. She needed to warn Jefferson, her Patriarch and alpha. Her thoughts turned to her siblings and her heart ached. She had been planning on going exploring with her sister, Rio, prior to this predicament. Now she wondered when she would see any of them again. Harlowe and Lucia...Where could they be? She prayed that they stayed far from here. She would have died if anything happened to them. The black girl opened one green eye a slit to regard the coyote who had taken her. But she let it slide shut swiftly. She had no idea what she was supposed to be doing or how she would shift. Her siblings had already attained these forms, but Caprica had always been slower and more ponderous, in her own way. "Haters gon' hate," she muttered to herself, thinking of how his patience with her must be thinning. But Rome wasn't built in a day, and she didn't have a blueprint anyway. .Caprica-a01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#3d535e; letter-spacing:1px; } .Caprica-a01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .Caprica-a01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .Caprica-a01 {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#132020; background-image:url(http://xs.to/image-8F29_4BF47F03.jpg); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 235px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#c9cfdf; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Godric - 06-15-2010 We can wrap it up here and have a new one that's set a few days later, maybe talk about details in between now and then if you want to?
