- Layla Nishant - 08-21-2010
Thanks again for the help with the table. WC: 1,019 {10 points} Layla was always interested in the study of medicine and herbs since she was a pup. Her mother taught her about the different herbs and left her a few books to read. Layla had some basic knowledge but she was eagar to learn more. As she scanned through her new home, she noticed that there were some books on the bookcase downstairs. There were quite a few. Guess the humans who lived here before read a lot in their spare time. As she went through them, she noticed there were a few on herbs and medicine. This was perfect. Not only would she be able to catch up on her reading but now she would also be able to pick some herbs in case some of her pack mates got injured. Layla rushed to her room and grabbed her satchel and placed a couple empty jars inside for the herbs she found. As she raced back down to the bookcase, she grabbed the books and was soon on her way. The day was just perfect for heading out for some herb picking. It was getting towards the end of the day, perfect for Layla seeing as she enjoyed the view of the sunset over the packlands. The mixture of pink, orange, and light blue filled the sky as she began on her journey from her home in Dahlia de Mai. Heading out of Wolfville, and passing through the pack’s border, she found that the area was new to her. Seeing as she didn’t know what thelife was like out here, she would have to be careful. As she filled her hair back a bit, her feathers hanging from her ears blew in the wind. The wind was picking up and it would soon be night. Seeing as Layla would have a hard time seeing in just full nighttime, she picked up the pace a bit to make sure she jad some time to look while the sun was still in the sky. As Layla continued on her journey, she found herself to what was known as Grandfather’s Tears, though she did not know that. There were many trees, so the sun was blocked a bit, but she could still see rather well. The grass under her back paws were soft and the rocks were getting cooler from the twilight breeze. As she came closer, she saw the the free flowing water. It was such a peaceful place. Nothing could possibly go wrong right? Layla came to a nice spot on the rocks near the water and carefully set down her satchel and unloaded her gear. She sat one of the empty jars down in front of her and left the other one in her satchel. She also took out the book and began to flip through the pages. After reading through all the herbs, she stopped on a few pages and looked around her area to see if any of the ones she picked were around. One of the herbs that caught her eye was Lavander. She looked around and noticed a patch near her. She set the book down and opened the empty jar as she scooted over to the patch. She carefully began to pick some of the herbs as she hummed to herself. After a few minutes passed, she paused. The area she had come too had suddenly gotten quite; too quite perhaps. No longer could Layla hear the chirping of birds or the other wildlife was that was nearby. She paused from her herb picking and slowly rose to her feet. She gazed around her area before slowly moving back to her stuff. As she began to pack her things, she heard a bit of movement. She looked in the direction of the noise and then froze. She was staring into something’s eyes. Another wolf perhaps. She tried to catch it’s scent but it was so foreign to her. She gave a low growl as she spoke to the mysterious creature. ”Come out coward. I know you’re not from Dahlia de Mai. Come out and show yourself!” Big mistake on her part. The creature was no coward at all. In an instant, the creature stood on its back legs, towering over Layla. The creature was a bear. Boy was Layla in trouble now. In her optime form she was not of much use seeing as she didn’t carry around a weapon. She couldn’t turn into her secui form, it would take too long and give the bear the perfect moment to attack. Seeing as she couldn’t fight back, she backed away from the monster, but soon realized there was no where really to back to. She was cornered. The odds were not good on her part. As she turned her gaze back to the bear, she saw it raise his massive paw and move to slash at her. Layla managed to dodge the attack for the most part until she felt a sharp pain on her muzzle. The bear’s claws had gotten her and slashed right across her muzzle. She placed on hand over the wound and stared back to the creature. She then attempted to fight back. Seeing as she had a body built for speed, she used it to make her way to the bear’s chest and bit on him. She tried to keep a grip on him but holding the bear’s fur in her hands. It was not an easy grip for her. After hearing a loud roar from the bear, she saw the ruby red eyes staring right at her. She could feel fear flowing in her veins. The next thing she felt was the bear’s claws against her side. It pushed her off as she flew, hitting her back on a nearby tree. She struggled a bit to get herself back up. She then noticed the bear coming towards her. This was it. If someone didn’t come and help her she would be a goner. She couldn’t take on this thing alone. She laid near the tree as she whined, praying that someone would hear her and come help her. - Lucia Cabriel - 08-24-2010
WC: 1,365. How's this? :]
It wasn’t clear why Lucia had visited this place again. She had been here once before, though she couldn’t possibly remember when. It had been one of her usual afternoon walks, a failing method to stop the voices in her head. Every now and then, whenever she found an ounce of peace, it helped, but today it seemed, there was anything but help on her side. She had passed a myriad of different trees, a variety of sparsely scattered shrubberies, and the occasional animal. It had been mostly rabbit, though she swore she had caught glimpse of something else, something much bigger, in the distance earlier. It had triggered curiosity for a while, but like most things, it didn’t remain in her head too long. <style type="text/css"> .l b {font-weight:bold; color:#91ba5a; letter-spacing:1px; } .l .ooc { font-style:italic; color:#808000; padding-top:250px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .l p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px; color: #5c7628} .l {margin:0 auto; width:350px; background-color:#000000; background-image:url(http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/ae20 ... iel/lt.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 0px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:10px; color:#0F475F; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Layla Nishant - 08-28-2010
Layla just couldn't believe that this was happening. How could this day go so wrong. Today was supposed to be a good day for gathering her herbs and yet here she was about to become the victim of a powerful beast. She could feel his powerful movement inching closer to her each second that passed by. The mistress' side and muzzle began to sting more as she tried to move out of the way. It was as if her life was slipping away and the beast was going to get her. Once the creature was only a little ways away from her, she closed her eyes, bracing herself for the bear's next attack. She prayed for a mircle to happen and that the terrifying beast would back off. At that moment it was as if her prayers were answered. Once the eyes of the mistress opened, there was a black wolf passing her and heading for the bear head on. What a relief to know she was going to live to see another day. The moment came when she realized she was still in danger if she didn't move. Her body felt too heavy as she tried to lift herself off the ground. THe mistress hadn't realized that her side was cut as well until after she tried to move. The scent of her own blood filled her nose as she again tried to move. The blood flowed out of her side and muzzle as she just crawled her way aside. Layla didn't get very far before the pain came back once more. How in her right mind did she thing she'd be able to move with all this pain. It wasn't until she heard the wolf yelling that she finally picked herself up and moved slightly out of the way. Layla couldn't go far but she was sure it was enough to be out of the bear's way. Wanting not to move anymore, Layla slowly laid on her back to reduce its pain and let the blood flow onto the rocks. Her obs moved back to the stranger who had injured the bear even more. The mistress felt so helpless that she couldn't help her rescuer. A soft snarl escaped her lips as she watched the bear flee. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly. Layla watched as the wolf moved back over towards her. The wolf wasn't even looking to her, though she couldn't tell because her eyes were still closed. The mistress could hear the wolf hissing to her as she scolded her for not having protection. Layla knew this was coming. She was a healer, not a fighter, so of course she didn't have a weapon to defend herself. She didn't answer the wolf, not wanting to be yelled at anymore by her rescuer. The yells just kept coming. How the hell was she supposed to know there were bears around here? Layla was just here to get herbs and leave, not expecting to be attacked by anything. The mistress felt like such an idiot for not being cautious. What surprised her was that the wolf was worried if she was alright. This must have been one of the wolves from Crimson Dreams. She slowly opened her eyes and looked to the dark female. "I'll be fine... There should be some aloe ointment in my bag along with some bandages... Can you get those for me please...?" Once the wolf grabbed her things, she would take the aloe and rub it on her wounds. From what she read the aloe herb helped not only with burns but cuts as well. Once the aloe was on, she would ask for the wolf's help to get the bandages around her waist. Once all that was done, she would put some aloe on her muzzle as well. She carefully raised herself to lean against a tree. Her orbs turned to her rescuer as she formed a slight smile. "Thank you... What's your name ma'am... which clan do you come from...?"
- Lucia Cabriel - 09-02-2010
WC: 689.
Still worn down, Lucia’s eyes narrowed cruelly. She had not planned on her stroll turning into a rescue attempt, and especially not someone who belonged into the opposing clan. It came into her mind to attack and kill the female wounded below her, finish what the bear had started, but she passed on the idea as quickly as it apppeared. Though the idea gave her extreme amusement inside the dark corridors of her mind, it would spur another war between the two packs, she was sure – thus, she could not follow through; she would remain civil and just let the sleeping dogs lie. - Layla Nishant - 09-05-2010
Layla could tell from the look on the on the black wolf's face. She wasn't the only one who was worn out. The wounds the mistress was suffering from drained the life out of her. She was going to need help getting home or she could have to wait until some of the pain was gone before heading home. The mistress looked over to the wolf, a thought floated into her mind. Why didn't the wolf just kill her? She was weak enough and it was obvious that she was not from Dahlia de Mai, so why would this wolf let her live? The only thing Layla could think of was that the wolf was from one of the packs her pack was allied with. What other explination was there? The mistress turned to the she wolf with a zetetic look on her face. She just couldn't figure this female out. First she saved her from a bear, but now she wasn't helping her with the wounds? In a sence it was Layla's own fault for wanting to do it herself but surely a wolf from an allied pack would still try to help her anyways. Did this wolf have some sort of grudge against Dahlia de Mai? She was soon to find out. Layla could tell from the way the female was acting that she disliked her. Something about the mistress was ticking this wolf off. If it had to do with turning her day into a rescue mission then she couldn't help that. She could tell from how the female was treating her belongs she was not pleased with the mistress. Tossing her things around like they were nothing. The least she could have done was lay them near her injured figure. Layla was still patching up while the other wolf was gathering up her things. Oh sure her things were much more important than those of an injured wolf. The mistress couldn't help but emit a low growl in anger at how her rescuer was treating her. Here she was, thanking another wolf for rescuing her and yet it seemed like she didn't care at all. The injured wolf was beginning to rethink about repaying this snobby wolf. How deeply the thought of not giving back to the wolf burned in her mind, she knew she had to. It just seemed wrong not to repay someone for saving them. Layla couldn't help but send a chill down her spine as the wolf smiled coldly and said her name. So her name was Lucia. A cold name to fit such a cold and dark colored wolf. She sure was proud of her name, but then again who wouldn't be? If a wolf didn't like their name then surely they'd change it. Her ears moved back as she made a smart remark as if she knew which pack she belonged to. The mistress took a quick sniff but the scent was foreign. She had never smelled it before, not to mention that the scent was clouded with the smell of blood. She paused and shook her head gently before she said she was from Inferni. Inferni? No that couldn't be right. Inferni and Dahlia de Mai were on terrible terms, so why would one help her? On another note, she heard Inferni was made up of nothing but coyote's and jackels, so what was a wolf doing in the pack. She shook her head, trying to tell herself this wolf wasn't from Inferni, but this wolf was too proud of that fact to not be from that pack. A soft sigh passed her lips as her orbs moved from the ground and then to Lucia. "Even so, your pack and mine are not exactly allies. Why would you help me?" Not wanting to stay here any longer, Layla fought against the pain and forced herself up. She gripped her side before moving back over to her things and getting them. She was sure that Saluce would be worried about what was taking her, so she wanted to get home as soon as possible. It was proving difficult, but she knew she had to. Carefully she moved from tree to tree using them as support, trying to carry herself home.

It was beginning to darken. The sky had begun to fade into midnight blues, the sun setting in the distance. As the shadows began to fade, a small breeze picking up on the horizon, Lucia stared emptily at the Dahlian female. It was strange, this help she had given. It confused her greatly, and as she stood watching Layla attempt to bandage her wounds, Lucia pondered on why it had happened in the first place. It was no secret that Lucia’s mind was torn. Though she was in fact a member of a coyote-based clan, outsider or not, the ebony canine found herself seeking out wolves – no matter what the pack. In a way, she figured that she missed the way things ran when it came to wolves. Their mentally was different, their hierarchies were different, and the way they treated one-another, well, it was no surprise that it was different also. Sighing quietly to herself, her toxic-green eyes drifted from the injured female in front of her. She loved Snake dearly, but was Inferni really the right place for her? She didn’t know, and she didn’t want to know. If she ever left, she would lose him – they could not be together, and that was too greater sacrifice. Lucia had never known love until him, and she wasn’t about to give it up, unless, of course, he decided to give up on her. That, she guessed, would happen eventually. Everyone left her eventually. She didn’t know why, nor how to stop it – but it happened, and she assumed it would someday happen with him too. Until then, however, she would hold the Inferni colours, and she would fight under their rule, but that still didn’t change anything. She still felt as though she didn’t belong – and clearly, she didn’t. She was a wolf in a coyote world, and that, honestly, didn’t mix at all. - Layla Nishant - 09-07-2010
Woo! WC: 1,258 {11 points, 1 for Word of the Day} Layla's gaze moved back up the to sky as it slowly grew darker. The mistress was not playing to be out so late, but it seems today was not her day at all. As the faint sight of stars began to fill the sky, she wondered what was going on at home. Pondering in her mind, she thought that her love would soon be heading home. She knew he'd be worried if she wasn't home soon. The mistress didn't want Saluce to worry about he so badly that he'd leave home in search for her. Hopefully if she was lucky he'd wait for her to return. Her mind wandered from the thought of her mate to the black she wolf. Something in the look of her face changed. From that snobby mood she had before, she chagned to a bit of a sorrowful mood. She had an idea on what was going through Lucia's head. She was sure that it was hard for Lucia to live as a wolf in a pack that was full of coyote's and jackels. Layla was sure that there was some reason she was living with them, but couldn't figure out what it was. She shrugged off the thought and moved her orbs back to the sky. The hues were slowly getting darker and soon it would be harder to see where they were going. Even though wolves were able to see at nighttime, it would be a bit harder for her seeing as she was the injured one. Layla broke from her thought as she heard the growl emit from the she wolf's lips. Now what was wrong with her? Had Layla done something to tick her off? The look on the black wolf's face was just unreal; it even got to the point where it was scarring Layla. The mistress grabbed her things and backed away a bit, unsure as to what to do about this wolf. Did she have some sort of personality disorder? It was the only thing she could thing of for the constant change of mood. Were all the members of Inferni like this? Why hate Dahlia de Mai? What had they ever done to the Inferni pack? The mistress didn't even know seeing as she was relatively new to the pack. The growls only got worse as they seemed to turn into a snarl. Lucia was going a good job of scaring her. Layla had no intentions of attacking her and even if she did, she wouldn't have been able to due to her injuries. Not wanting to start a fight, she curled her tail in between her legs and just watched her. Layla was glad to see her angered expression leave from the female's face. A soft sigh escaped from her lips as the black wolf backed off a bit. The mistress could relax for a while but not for long before she noticed the empty expression on her face. Was Lucia purposely trying to scare her? If she was, then she was doing a good job. The twisting thoughts in Layla's mind only continued to twist more as the black wolf's empty gaze stared at her. The mistress was sure the wolf could see the fear in her eyes. Normally she wouldn't be scarred at all but seeing as she was injured, Lucia would have the advantage. Layla would be in big trouble if she decided to attack now. She would have no choice but the trust the wolf won't make any moves until she reached the safety of her home and run into Saluce's arms once again. Once more she could see that the wolf was getting lost in her thoughts. Surely though she was searching for the answers to Layla's quesiton. Surely Lucia knew this question was going to come up seeing as they were on opposite sides. As the black wolf was lost in thought, the mistress grabbed her healing items and moved back over to her satchel. Carefully she placed them inside and moved her satchel over her right shoulder seeing as her left side was injured. When her orbs moced back up to Lucia, she was what seemed like preparing her response. The mistress watched as the she wolf turned her back to her. It was a bit rude, but Layla could understand her reason for doing so. To her the mistress was her enemy and as such probably would not want to explain herself to Layla's face. She gave a slight nod and moved her ears a bit, ready to hear the wolf's reasoning. One thing was for sure as Layla listened to Lucia speak; she was not an easy wolf to figure out. It wasn't long before that kenspeckled, saddened look in her eyes gave in. Something was tugging at her, if only she could figure out what. So that was it, it was because Layla too was a wolf. The mistress began to start feeling sorry for Lucia. To be considered an outsider was one of the worst feelings ever. Not wanting to make any false moves, she began to head over to the female. She could understand her sadness and pain that Lucia was feeling. Not to get to close for comfort, she stayed a bit of a ways away as she continued to explain. So that was it, she was only in Inferni because of her mate. Knowing this know she knew it was harder on the she wolf to try and fit in. Perhaps Layla could do something to make Lucia look good and help her into the better ranks of Inferni, if that was even possible of course. She hated the thought of anyone being an outsider, so the way she was going to repay Lucia was by helping her become better involved with Inferni, again if that was even possible. The mistress nodded when Lucia asked if she understood. "Yes I understand Lucia. I know it must be rough for you and your mate. Being an outsider is not a good feeling I'm sure." As she began to move away from Lucia and towards home, a sharp pain came in her side. She leaned on the tree and held her side. This was going to be harder than she thought. Home was quite a ways away and there was no way she was going to make it home on her own. Her orbs looked over her bandages as the faint color of red began to be seen. The bandages were starting to soak up the blood and bleed through. She had to get home soon before it got any worse. The mistress tried moving on her own again but it was no use, the pain was just too much. Her ears moved as she heard Lucia making a move. Before she knew it, the black wolf was at her side, offering her help. Layla had to admit that Lucia was right, she would not be able to make it home on her own, especially if something else out there caught the scent of her blood. The mistress took her rescuer's offer in helping her get to the borders. Once there it wasn't too much further from her home. She kept one hand at her side to try and put pressure on the wound as the two some began on. Layla looked to Lucia and couldn't help but form a small smile on her face. "Thank you Lucia. I owe you my life. I'll find some way to repay you for this." - Lucia Cabriel - 09-09-2010
WC: 2,212 ... LOL! <3
Watching Layla, Lucia couldn’t help but feel jealous of the injured wolf. Not so much for the pack she was in, nor the fact she seemed to innocent at first glance, but more so for the physical pain she was experiencing from her wounds. Lucia was not one to self-harm, nor revel in her depression, but the ebony she-wolf did enjoy dabbling in the realm of pain from time-to-time. She enjoyed finding out how far she would stretch her pain threshold, and the many different ways she could do this. Lucia called it experimentation, others called it twisted. It wasn’t a concern to her though, for she simply put it down to the fact that if she was ever taken hostage and tortured, she would be able to withstand a lot more than those who ridiculed her. She was a strange creature, clearly – but there was method in her madness, even if others couldn’t see it. <style type="text/css"> .lg b {font-weight:bold; color:#91ba5a; letter-spacing:1px; } .lg .ooc { font-style:italic; color:#000000; padding-top:275px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .lg p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px; color: #5c7628} .lg {margin:0 auto; width:359px; background-color:#383f2e; background-image:url(http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/ae20 ... el/tlg.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 10px 0px 50px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:10px; color:#0F475F; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Layla Nishant - 09-21-2010
You get Layla's 100th post! Woot! Should we begin to wrap up this thread? I know it's short but yeah. What do you think? WC: 1,648 {10 points} As Lucia was looking over the injured she wolf, Layla was looking over her as well. It seemed like the black wolf was trying to figure her out and the mistress was trying to do the same with her rescuer. Lucia was a mysterious person; she couldn't quite figure her out. From the look she was getting out of her eyes, she could see a hint of jealousy. Now why would she be jealous? The black and white she wolf was in pain, she too had a lover, and they were both members of packs. Was it because Lucia was treated as an outsider and Layla was not? That was the only explination she could think of. Why else would a wolf of a coyote pack be jealous of a wolf in another pack? If only there was some way that the mistress could help out the black she wolf. Clearly she needed a reward for this and she was bound to find some way to repay her rescuer in a positive way. The other thing Layla couldn't figure out was the black she wolf's sudden change in mood. One moment she'd be feeling or acting one way and then a moment later it was like she was a totally different person. This may not be the case but she was sure something about the mistress was causing her to constantly change her mood. Before she was jealous and now she had just gone silent. It might have been her actions to move and return to her home, or was there some expression on her face that changed her mind otherwise? Whatever the reason, she tried not the make the situation any worse than it already was. Although she was still in a bit of thought, she noticed Lucia put on an apologetic look on her face. So the black she wolf did seem to feel sorry for her, but there was something odd about her look. So after all this thought she was feeling sorry for her? There was just something about that thought that confused her. A soft sigh passed though her lips as she moved back to her thought. Why wouldn't she think that the Inferni wouldn't attack her. Bad relations normally meant the two packs hated each other and there was no way that she could trust Lucia just yet; however, if she was going to get home then she had to. Silence had indeed taken over as it seemed Lucia was back in her train of thought, though it looked like there was a sliver of pain in her eyes. She had just told Layla everything. She told her her reasons for being in Inferni and how she felt about it. Although the mistress had mentioned something about this, it didn't seem to be working in her favor. Feeling an outcast was terrible so why would she put up with it? Sure she was in love with one of the coyote's but why put herself through the pain of being an outcast? The black and white she wolf could understand if she was allowed in and allowed to assend in the ranks. What she could not understand is how the Inferni pack could put her as an outsider and treat her as such. The idea of making up with Inferni was slowly slipping away from her mind seeing as they treated some others as lower than their own ranks. Thankfully Lucia broke the silence in mentioning that it was a different situation. Different how exactly? How was feeling an outsider in this case feeling any different than an outsider in this case? If it was different to the black she wolf, then that was her interpertation of the situation; although, it still seemed the same to the mistress. Once she broke for her trance and looked over to her rescuer, there looked to be some relief in her expression. Relief? Now why would she feel relieved to be hearing something from an enemy. Oh was it perhaps that she never got this reaction from someone before? Were all the Inferni members just so wrapped up in their little coyote gang that they didn't care to help a wolf with her problems. This also begged the question to her if Lucia's mate even cared about her as much as she claimed to love him. If he loved her so much, wouldn't he be the one to sit down and talk to her about how she was feeling? So what if her lover was one of the coyotes and was loyal to the Inferni pack? Would he rather stay and be a part of the pack, or would he break away and take the time to figure out what was wrong with his mate? Mates sure were a hard thing to figure out. If Layla were in Lucia's position, she would have left the pack before the feeling got worse and would stop by to see her lover when she could. In the moments that Layla was trying to make it back home on her own, she managed to catch a glimpse of Lucia off to the side and watching her. She didn't expect the black she wolf to offer her help seeing as she was from another pack, but who knew with her. From what she could gather, she could tell she too was questioning some things. That jealous look in her face returned as the mistress held her side. Unlike her, the black and white she wolf had someone to return to and someone who deeply cared about her and her well being. What seemed like was going on was that Lucia couldn't feel the love anymore from her mate. Surely there was the thought of her mate leaving Inferni to be with her, but judging from the fact that she was the one to join the pack, her mate was not going to leave. To the mistress, this was the classic argument over which was more important. Was his pack more important or was his mate more important? She sighed and moved back to her wounds as she tried to lick the blood off her muzzle while Lucia was stuck in thought. Finally realizing that Layla would not be able to make sure that she was not going to make it home on her own, she accept the help of Lucia. While Lucia was adjusting her stance to help the mistress up. She could tell that it was a bit uncomfortable for the black she wolf and she felt a bit sorry. She tried to adjust herself as well so it wasn't too uncomfortable. She looked to Lucia as they began and gave a smile. ”Thank you for your help Lucia.” She fully appreciated the help the black she wolf was offering her. She could see the small smile coming to her rescuer's face and looked up to the sky. It was getting closer to night than she thought. They would have to get home soon or it would be a bit too dark to see. Layla's ears moved as she heard Lucia's request about not kicking her ass the next time Inferni and Dahlia de Mai clashed. A soft sigh passed her lips as she looked back up to the sky. ”If only they weren't fighting in the first place.” It was this statement that brought back the she wolf's idea about trying to make up to the Inferni pack for whatever it was that Dahlia de Mai did to them. It would have to be Dahlia de Mai to make the first move because it seemed like Inferni was going to do nothing about the matter. She moved her head down and looked to the ground as they continued around. Silence seemed to return to the two wolves. Surely they were both lost in thought. Although the mistress did not know what the black she wolf was thinking about, she had a pretty good idea. While Lucia was probably thinking about her mate, Layla too was thinking about her's. She missed Saluce so much and couldn't wait to return to his arms once again. Hopefully he would be thankful to Inferni as well and wouldn't mind her journeying to their pack to speak with their leaders. Layla moved her orbs from the ground back to Lucia as she mentioned they were making excellent time. It seemed they were and soon Layla would be home in no time to be with her love. The mistress couldn't help but count Lucia as one of her friends, even if she belonged to an enemy pack. The mood was actually quite pleasant and from the look on Lucia's face, she was actually enjoying herself a bit. A soft smile formed on the black and white she wolf's face as they continued along. Layla looked to Lucia a bit confused as she asked if she had anyone special waiting for her. The mistress was sure she had mentioned the behemoth's name before but she said it again to make sure in case she really didn't mention him before. ”Yes, my mate Saluce will surely be waiting at home for me.” This night was not going to leave her head for a long while. This just proved that there were not only wolves out there who wanted to help, but that Inferni was not as bad of a pack as it seemed to be made out to be. Speaking of being a lucky guy, shouldn't Lucia's mate feel lucky? He should feel lucky that his mate loved him so much that she joined his pack and swallowed her pride to be labeled as an outsider. The black and white she wolf flicked her tail a bit as they got closer to Dahlia's borders. This was going to be a long night with Saluce, she could tell. |
