- Kansas Sadira - 11-25-2010
300+ Kansas couldn't believe he was three years old already. Time passed so quickly because so much had happened, one thing right after the other. He liked it that way, remembering the dull months he had spent away as a teenager and how languid and gruesome he had felt throughout. To him, it was better to live an eventful life; there was more fruitful meaning to be reaped. Still, the realization that he was perhaps a quarter of the way done with this life was like a slap in the face. It seemed only days ago that he had been a shy, stupid little boy following his father around the pack lands of Storm. Now he was so much different from that — and yet, in many ways he was the same. It was all very confusing to him. The Sadira autonomously searched his mind for other thoughts, and decided that he needed to busy himself somehow. His belly and chest were exposed as he rested on the couch, front paws loosely dangling at his chest. In a deft motion the wolf was on all fours on the floor beside the sofa, and he shook out the jitters that came with deep reflection. The room spun as he did so, righting itself as he began to head towards the front door. He opened it with a practiced paw and peered into the landscape beyond the Manor, his nose twitching for a scent of anyone about. It was midafternoon and prime time for napping, and he wasn't surprised to find the aroma of no one. The idea of a nap was so very appealing, but he had proven to himself that he was unable to clear his mind enough for the privilege of sleep. He looked towards the orchard, expecting to see his or Anu's pups romping there. Instead of children, however, the orchard was occupied by a monstrous beast, tall and strange like some mysterious sentinel. Kansas wagged his tail and shifted quickly right on the porch before jogging towards the orchard. Lexington nickered in greeting, snuffing into his master's shoulder as the snowy wolf scratched the side of his neck. Kansas was distracted by their cold breath as it interwove in magical silvery tendrils, his fingers absently combing the unicorn's dark blue mane. .kansasfield b {font-weight:bold; color:#5585A7; letter-spacing:.0px; } .kansasfield-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .kansasfield p {text-indent:10px; padding:3px 10px; margin:0px;} .kansasfield {margin:0 auto; width:402px; background-color:#87B4DD; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... sfield.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #093B51; padding: 10px 0px 200px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#BED8EB; line-height:15px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Silvano Sadira - 12-04-2010
300+ took me long enough, my apologies Silvano was in the mood to get his newly useful hands to work. He was fidgety, though he did not look it. The boy had enough control to not jiggle his leg or to fumble with his hands. Eager as he was to do some of the things he had yet not done, he wanted to do it right. Usually, he was okay with being alone but for some odd reason, Silvano wanted to be someone else. Maybe a family member. Or maybe a new friend. Someone. It would be easier to do some things, especially if they would wander across the entirety of the pack lands. Something had to be about to do. Someone had to be about to do that something with. But Silvano's search was futile. He found no one in his path - he had gone to where the old barn had been and then headed home from there. He had stopped in the cottentail valley, among the dying or dead plants. It was a brown field where it ought to have been colorful as the wildflowers that grew there. Ears twitching, he heard whinnying. Brows furrowing under curly locks, the Sadira boy followed the sound to the orchard. He saw his father, the man whose surname he took as his own. Smile suddenly on his previously frowning face, the boy approached the man and horse. "Dad!" He sounded relieved, even to his own ears. "God, I have been looking for someone for most of the day. Is everyone suddenly hibernating or something?" he asked, putting a hand on Lexington, rather gingerly and his arm almost fully extended. Horses scared him some, but he still wanted one. Almost. Maybe. If they could get one for him, of course. "Like. I couldn't find Artie, or Parker, or Mother." Gotham was always missing and hard to find. It was weird. His older brother was never around. .silvcaesar b {font-weight:bold; color:#473928; letter-spacing:.0px; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #282421; } .silvcaesar-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .silvcaesar p {text-indent:15px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .silvcaesar {margin:0 auto; width:455px; background-color:#010101; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... caesar.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7D7058; padding: 270px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#493824; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .silvcaesar-line1 {width:395px; border-bottom:1px dotted #5E4F3A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Kansas Sadira - 12-05-2010
300+
Kansas was debating whether to go for a leisurely ride when an unexpected visitor approached. Baby blues lit on the face of his youngest son and his expression ignited with happiness. Hey, buddy, he greeted in soft tones, playfully and gently pushing on the boy's shoulder. He had neglected to spend one-on-one time with Silvano recently, so he was elated that this opportunity had arisen. Initially, it had been hard to divide his time among his three youngest puppies, as they were usually all together, Savina included. Now that Silvano, Parker, and Artemis were older and didn't require so much attention, it would undoubtedly be easier to spend time alone with each of them. He smiled down at his teenage son, shrugging his shoulders in response to the boy's words. Must be. Maybe it's just a lazy day for everyone. It was admittedly puzzling how deserted Crimson Dreams appeared today. Nevertheless, Kansas was grateful for the time that he'd be able to spend with his son. What you up to today? he asked curiously, as Lexington lifted his mighty crown and calmly sniffed Silvano, perhaps wishing to indulge in some extra attention. Kansas continued to grin at the boy, eager to hear whatever he wanted to tell him. .kansasfield b {font-weight:bold; color:#5585A7; letter-spacing:.0px; } .kansasfield-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .kansasfield p {text-indent:10px; padding:3px 10px; margin:0px;} .kansasfield {margin:0 auto; width:402px; background-color:#87B4DD; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... sfield.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #093B51; padding: 10px 0px 200px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#BED8EB; line-height:15px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Silvano Sadira - 12-18-2010
300+ sosososos sorry :< no more long long waits for next two weeks c: Silvano gave his dad a smile, the kind that a son gave a loving father with whom he could easily converse. Shrugging, the boy rolled his eyes, wondering exactly the same thing. When the only person you could find out and about was your father, then someone was up. Surely there had to be plenty of young people like him around. But there weren't. His father would do and it would still be just as fun. The two of them really had not spent much time together but that was really more Artie's fault than his, since Artemis demanded attention. She was the attention black hole and Silvano was much like the thirtieth moon of Jupiter. But he did not mind at all. He couldn't collapse in on himself after all. The boy shrugged, rolling his shoulders. God, how he loved his optime body. "Nothing at all, dad," he answered plainly, emerald eyes suddenly darting to Lexington who bobbed his head at him. Silvano was less uncertain with horses now considering Kansas had one himself. He had been mortified the first time he saw one tower over him, but he felt better around them. He almost wanted one, too. But to get one had to be difficult if not impossible. Maybe his dad would one day help him? Maybe find a mare to breed? Lexington was such a fine horse, and it would be a waste to let him go to seed. Surely, a mare would be found to put the stallion to stud. As for the moment, Silvano put his hand at the sniffing nostrils of the horse. Patting the long face, the boy smiled at the horse. "I've been kinda bored. I don't want to read, but I don't want to do anything.. that exciting..," he said, posing a question to his father, hoping the man would help him figure out something. Anything. .silvcaesar b {font-weight:bold; color:#473928; letter-spacing:.0px; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #282421; } .silvcaesar-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .silvcaesar p {text-indent:15px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .silvcaesar {margin:0 auto; width:455px; background-color:#010101; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... caesar.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7D7058; padding: 270px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#493824; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .silvcaesar-line1 {width:395px; border-bottom:1px dotted #5E4F3A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Kansas Sadira - 12-21-2010
is okay! <333 sorry for this pile of crap here. 300+
Lexington was calm and still as the young agouti wolf stroked his long muzzle. Kansas watched the interaction with curious eyes, wondering what Silvano thought of the stallion. He loved Lexington's sweet, patient nature, though he had never until now seriously considered breeding him. The stallion was tough and hardy, and that along with his pleasant disposition actually deemed him a suitable stud. Maybe it would be good for the Silvano to have a horse of his own; his siblings, too, if they wanted one. Keeping companionship with the large beasts was surprisingly rewarding, not to mention fun. Kansas decided to keep that in serious consideration - perhaps he would even seek Heath for more information on breeding. Silvano confimed his father's suspcion of boredom. Laughing softly, Kansas nodded in immediate agreement. I know how you feel, he said honestly. I've been bored too. Pretty much all day. Sometimes reading just grew old, and playing the guitar just grew frustrating. On slow days like this, boredom was prevalent, and Kansas absolutely hated it. Huh... he spoke thoughtfully, pale blue gaze shifting to Lexington. ... Do you want to go for a ride? He was almost certain that Silvano had never mounted a horse, and he was curious to see if the boy would like it. .kansasfield b {font-weight:bold; color:#5585A7; letter-spacing:.0px; } .kansasfield-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .kansasfield p {text-indent:10px; padding:3px 10px; margin:0px;} .kansasfield {margin:0 auto; width:402px; background-color:#87B4DD; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... sfield.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #093B51; padding: 10px 0px 200px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#BED8EB; line-height:15px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Silvano Sadira - 01-02-2011
311 The boy nodded at his father, still carefully stroking the horse's face, wondering just what kind of intelligence lay behind those big, twinkling eyes. His father kept the horse's company for a reason, but Silvano did not know just yet how having a horse worked other than riding it and keeping it in a safe place. Was there more involved? He had never really bothered to ask or bothered to find out where Lexington was kept and how he was kept. Obviously, Kansas had to feed the huge beast but what did horses eat? In a book he had read in the mansion's library had briefly mentioned throwing hay into the feeding pens of livestock, but that seemed a little too poor quality for something as useful and beautiful and high class as a stallion. Maybe they had a higher class kind of feed too? But that had been in the time of humans. What did Lexington eat now? Grass? In winter? No, it had to be something. A ride? A ride! Silvano's face simply burst into excitement at the thought, his usual calm facade disappeared beneath his grin. "Really?!" he exclaimed, resting his hand on the horse's muzzle. He drew it away, for fear of his excitement scratching at Lexington's face. "Really, Dad?" he asked again, trying to figure out how he was supposed to get on the horse. Obviously his dad was tall enough. But was Silvano supposed to kind of.. scramble up there? And now that he thought about it, how had the horse come into his dad's possession? Maybe they could talk about it on the ride. "Can Lexington handle us two fatties?" They were not fat, but they were pretty big, relatively speaking, combined. The stallion before them looked pretty strong, but their overall weight might just be at the end of his comfortable carrying capacity. .silvcaesar b {font-weight:bold; color:#473928; letter-spacing:.0px; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #282421; } .silvcaesar-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .silvcaesar p {text-indent:15px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .silvcaesar {margin:0 auto; width:455px; background-color:#010101; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... caesar.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #7D7058; padding: 270px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#493824; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .silvcaesar-line1 {width:395px; border-bottom:1px dotted #5E4F3A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Kansas Sadira - 01-23-2011
300+
