- Taxi - 04-03-2008 The Waste. [html] Taxi wasn't entirely sure what she had planned on doing once she got here. Her parents had all but banished her from home after finding out she'd been sleeping with the alpha male (who was a good five years older than herself), and the poor ol' chap had been anything but pleased when he'd been caught. She snickered softly at the thought, remembering the look on that innocent boy's face when he'd walked in on them. Taxi wasn't sure if she'd ever seen anybody so mortified in her life. Oh, but it was worth it. She remembered the first time the alpha, Ethan, had treated her so nicely. He'd told her she was the most special girl in the world, and she didn't hesitate to believe one word of his speech. Soon, the two were spending more and more time together, and he brought her gifts. Ah, the wonderful gifts! Trinkets, feasts, you name it. All she had to do was ask and she would receive. Of course, there was certainly something she had to give up, but she didn't mind that. Quite honestly, that was half the fun. Another snicker escaped her lips, and she already found herself brightening up since her parents had told her she was going to have to leave. Ethan had seemed sad, but not heartbroken. Not that she expected him to be, of course. She was only a little girl as far as he was concerned, although he certainly didn't seem to mind taking advantage of her. That was it. She liked it when somebody else thought they were in control. He thought he had her under his finger, but all along she'd been getting all the attention she could ever want. With a sigh, she continued walking, not really having any particular direction to go (in life or otherwise). She'd always preferred her bipedal form, and wasn't about to give it up just to travel a bit. - Anselm de le Poer - 04-06-2008 [html] http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s304 ... header.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top:300px; background-position:top center; background-color:#8C0D00"> What territory is this set in? Since the forum technically includes three, it's a good idea to state which one so people don't get confused. :] - Taxi - 04-07-2008 My mistake, sorry. x_o [html] She heard the soft snort, and immediately froze in her tracks, sniffing the air and looking about for who had made the noise. It wasn't terribly difficult to spot the half-obscured figure of a male behind a bedraggled bush. Idly, she wondered why anybody would a) be hiding behind a half-dead plant and b) scoff at her for apparently no reason. Taxi quirked a brow at him, her pale yellow eyes trying to figure out what he was doing and what his intent was. When nothing seemed to be apparent, she didn't hesitate to walk over and crouch down to his level. Her backward-jointed knees cracked softly as she squatted, but not painfully so. It was probably due to all the traveling she'd been doing the past few weeks. It was really starting to take a toll on her. You wouldn't happen to know anything about this neck of the woods, would you?she asked, putting on her sweetest and most innocent (yeah, right) voice. A smile appeared upon her face, hoping that he wouldn't just disregard her and refuse her any kind of information. Surely he had something to offer... and she was more than willing to offer something in return. - Anselm de le Poer - 04-10-2008 [html] http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s304 ... header.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top:300px; background-position:top center; background-color:#8C0D00"> 's ok. - Taxi - 04-13-2008 [html] She listened, then nodded. Quite frankly, she wasn't interesting in being attacked and mauled to death. Nope, not really at the top of her list of things to do once she'd gotten here, that was for sure. Thanks for the heads-up,she replied, Are there lots of new claimed lands I should know about?she asked, wondering if this was some kind of newly-discovered territory she was walking into. For all she knew everybody had lived here since birth. Of course, she wouldn't be so stupid as to believe everything she told herself, so she pushed that theory aside. As she made herself more comfortable, twisting and turning so her legs were out in front of her and her arms kept her propped up, she wondered why this guy seemed like such a badass. Or rather, why he acted like one at all. Being a badass was all good in theory, but one certainly couldn't have a whole lot of fun that way. It was all stern looks and angry bites all the time—not exactly something that Taxi considered to be "fun" in any sense of the word. - Anselm de le Poer - 04-13-2008 [html] http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s304 ... header.png); background-repeat:no-repeat; padding-top:300px; background-position:top center; background-color:#8C0D00">
