- Vigilante Haskel - 01-26-2011
For Kambujiya! Set in the evening. :3 245 words. The puppies had both had a very big day, especially with the excitement of Ever's surprise visit. Vigilante had lit the fire in the living room and now he was reclining on the couch with his head resting on his two front paws, jade eyes watching them play. Ayita was napping again, and Vigilante did not mind watching their boys while she got some much-needed rest. Noah and Liam had taken a nap together after Ever had left, and now it seemed that they had regained all of their energy from earlier. The dog mutt King was feeling the strains of parenthood and he was tired, but he was content to watch the boys play before they all settled in to bed. It was not late, but they would all need sleep soon, that was for certain. Noah pounced on the old, faded tennis ball, swatting it away from Liam quickly. The younger boy pouted, thundering after his larger brother across the room. "Give 't back, Noah, I had 't fuuuurst!" Liam squealed, but the older boy ignored his pleas and continued to run with the ball. Vigilante did not think it was time to intervene yet, and sure enough, Noah finally turned around and rolled the ball to Liam before scampering over to roll on the rug in front of the fire. "Not too close," the dog mutt warned. He did not want to risk either of them being too close to the fire. .vigilion b {font-weight:bold; color:#EDC562; letter-spacing:.0px; } .vigilion-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:10px; color:#EDC562; text-align:right; } .vigilion p {text-indent:30px; padding:5px 8px; margin:0px;} .vigilion {margin:0 auto; width:340px; background-color:#DE6D05; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/ ... gilion.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #602201; padding: 170px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:11px; color:#602201; line-height:15px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} </style> - Kambujiya - 01-26-2011

- Vigilante Haskel - 02-13-2011
The dog mutt did not allow both of his eyes to droop, though he was growing tired from watching the boys all day. It was nothing that he minded, for he loved his two sons greatly in a way he had not expected. The King had taken in other puppies and loved them all: Amaranth and Kable, Ever, and Kambujiya. He was very fond of them all and he considered them family, each of them his own child in some way. The birth of his own two sons, however, had brought out a different type of love that he simply could not explain. The arrival of his adopted son drew his attention, and Vigilante smiled at the mottled boy. "Hello, Kambujiya," he said with a smile, watching as Noah and Liam abandoned the ball that they had been playing with to gather beside the older boy that they did not truly know they were not related to, excitedly yipping and bouncing for his attention. They were excited when he was around, as he was someone that they could play with, even if he was so much bigger and older than they were. The King smiled fondly at their obvious excitement, and he allowed himself to grow more comfortable, for he knew that the boys would be safe with Kambujiya if he happened to take a nap. .vigilion b {font-weight:bold; color:#EDC562; letter-spacing:.0px; } .vigilion-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:10px; color:#EDC562; text-align:right; } .vigilion p {text-indent:30px; padding:5px 8px; margin:0px;} .vigilion {margin:0 auto; width:340px; background-color:#DE6D05; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v313/ ... gilion.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #602201; padding: 170px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:11px; color:#602201; line-height:15px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} </style> |
