She could hardly believe what she had been told. Or what had happened either. She hadn't been sure what to do or so. It still felt to be a dream. Maybe that is all it had been. After all it was too hard to believe that it was actually true. Something like that never happened to her. It just wasn't her luck. Still, the other had said that he was serious. She supposed that she just had to believe him. And that meant that she would eventually have to tell her family.
Actually she was going to do that just now. She had paused by Demi's room to ask her daughter to meet her in Nani's room. She figured it would be easier to gather them together and tell them that way. After all, it concerned a subject that had been discussed before though there hadn't been any sort of fruition at that time. And she could hardly believe that it had came about now.
"Nani?" She called softly into her sister's room before entering. She had waited until nightfall in hopes that both women would be free of duties at this hour. "Nani, I asked Demi to meet in here so that we all could talk." Even though she had entered the room she didn't stray far from the entrance. Instead she had dropped her feet down so that she could sit on her knees just inside the area. She wasn't certain what the others would say or think. She wasn't even sure what she should say or think. Maybe she shouldn't agree but he had put himself out there and she couldn't hurt him that way. That was why she was hoping that the women that she was close to in life could help her with the dilemma. <style type="text/css"> .selene {width:400px; background-image:url('http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v312/Isoke/wolf/Selene/selene.png'); background-position:top center; background-color:#0D0007; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid black;} .selene2 {padding:150px 10px 10px 10px; font-family:georgia; font-size:11px; color:#664270; line-height:15px; text-align:justify;} .selene b {color:#ED9B9D;} .selene p {text-indent:39px; margin:0px;} </style>
- Naniko D'Angelo - 04-05-2011
Her form drifted along the cave system to her aunt’s abode, fashionably late as always but, she was in good spirits. Even if not being around teddy at all had been nagging at her, it had even threatened to depress her a bit but by now she was already having second thoughts on how she had treated him the last time they talked. But now she had other worries, her mother had something important to tell her and Aunt Nani and while she didn’t want to dwell on anything terrible about to be said, it still hadn’t left her mind. True Demi was more than able to function without her mother and brother now, quite able to be her own woman, but she did care about her mother. She noted the two before her with a slight nod of respect as she entered, catching a bit of the conversation as she entered. Naniko seemed to be a lot more worried than Demi did, and some part of her wondered if that was wrong, but with a smooth elegance she glided in. Her voice spoke up in greeting them. “Hello Mom and Aunt Nani.” She joined her aunts side figuring the two of them could do a better job teaming up to get at the bottom of this than splitting up. “What’s up?” she asked quizzically. .demi-ktable p {padding:0px 20px 10px 20px; margin:0px; text-indent:30px;} .demi-ktable b {color:#d3a9bc;} .demi-ktable-b {width:402px; border:1px solid #000000; margin:0px auto;} .demi-ktable-header {font-family:georgia, serif; color:#d3a9bc; text-shadow:#FFFFFF 0px 0px 4px; float: right; margin:5px; text-transform:uppercase; font-size:15px; font-weight:bold; letter-spacing:1px;} .demi-ktable-ooc {font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px; letter-spacing:.4px; font-style:italic; } .demi-ktable {background-color:#060604; padding:0px 0px 10px 0px; border:1px solid #FFFFFF; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#FFFFFF; letter-spacing:.3px; word-spacing:2px; line-height:14px; width:400px; text-align:justify; background-image:url(http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/2808/demid.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; padding:10px 0px 280px 0px; } </style>
|
