- Robin Aatte - 08-04-2011
WC: 1077 Any and all welcome. Set in Shiloh Hills... on the 6th if that's ok? Also her avvie's a little old, she's actually 6 months old now, just so you know It was the late morning, the lush green grass blew gently in the winds that carressed the lands, the sun was climbing steadily in the sky, soon it would reach it's apex and then the full heat of the summer time noon would take over, the sun beating down on the ground mercilessly. Although at least today there was more cloud cover, there being more fluffy white clouds covering the sky today, their fluffy presence at least would ease some of the heat from the bright shining orb that would soon be high overhead. The birds had taken flight this day, taking to the skies, most of them had anyway, they were all small silhouettes in the sky, their wings and general shape being obvious, but that was just it. If they were doing their usual activity of calling to one another, sending cheerful twittering, tweeting messages to one another then it could not be heard from the ground. Small animals were creeping in the grass, nibbling on the leaves of the bright flowers that pinpricked the green lush ground, they consisted of small rabbits and mice mostly, passing about their day quietly and mostly unnoticed, hiding from sight in the long grass, ever alert to any dangers that might be approaching. Through all of this bounced a little patchwork ball of fluff, scattering small animals, she was not trying to catch any of them, in fact she was chasing a small purple butterfly that was flittering across the lands. She wanted to catch it and take it back to Felicity, she knew that she liked all things girly and would more than likely enjoy having the small creature as a new pet. Robin wanted to do something nice for her, after all she was her sister, and she loved her, even if she was such a silly girl, Robin much preffered spending time with her brother Linden, he would happily play adventure games with her and clamber up rocks and jump into water with her, he was much more fun, much happier to play rough and tumble games with her, to play fight and generally rough house. She was not a girly creature at all, her idol being Robin Hood, the human male that she had read about in the books that were stored in the house. He was such an exciting man, he had been all over the place, fighting for good, he had stolen from the rich, evil opressors and given the money to the poor, he had had a bow and arrow and a band of Merry Men who went everywhere with him. It was her favourite game, she loved playing at being Robin Hood, but Linden did not seem to like it when she made him be Little John or Will Scarlett, often arguments would be caused over both of them wanting to be the hero of whatever story they were playing out. She usually won though, mostly because she could keep arguing until Linden had lost interest and was just willing to go along with whatever she said. Afterall they were usually her ideas, the plots for their games, so it was most unfair if he tried to be the hero, that was her job, if he did it again she decided that she would let Felicity be one of the Merry Men and make him the damsel in distress that they were going to rescue, yes that would teach him a lesson for sure. But for now the task at hand was to catch this butterfly. She would get it, and she would take it home to Felicity and then maybe she would join in the game more happily, without persuasion. She was in her Lupus form today, having decided that she was still better at walking in this form, she had been practicing in her new found bipedal form but it was awkward. So the little patchwork girl had decided that she could run better on four legs, she wasn't wobbly in this form, the chances were that she wouldn't fall down like she had been doing so often in the past few days as she ran about in her Optime form. The little female had left the lands, she knew that it probably wasn't the best idea but she was still close to home, it wouldn't take her long to run back if she really needed to, also she was close enough that if she shouted really loudly then someone would probably come and help her out, especially her daddy, he would come and rescue if she needed it, he would come galloping in on his great big horse and save her. Just like she would do one day when someone called for help, she would come in and rescue them, just like she had been practicing in her pretend games, she would be a brave and noble just like her father, she would be a brave protector just like him, one day they would be an amazing duo, brave wolves fighting for justice and everything that was right. She could not wait for that day, just as soon as she grew up, that would be what the pair did, she was sure of it. Having spent all this time lost in thought, the patchwork girl had lost the butterfly, she sat down, her brow and her chocolate coloured nose wrinkling in annoyance, they were pesky creatures, butterflies, too quick to escape. The girl sat down her brow still furrowed. She scratched an ear that was a sandy brown with a deep brown tip with her little grey back foot, wandering back off into deep thought, what was she going to do now? Where could she find another butterfly as pretty as that one to catch and take home? She couldn't go back without one and disappoint Felicity, although then again as it was going to be a surprise present then perhaps she wouldn't mind all so much after all, but Robin would know and she would feel guilty, knowing that she had failed her first proper quest, to hunt her sister a butterfly that she could keep as a new friend. There was of course the matter of how she was going to get it back to Cours Des Miracles without crushing it by accident, or losing it, but the patchwork girl's thought process had not gotten that far, she had been too focused on the chase. .robincub b {font-weight:bold; color:#607792; letter-spacing:.0px; } .robincub-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .robincub p {text-indent:5px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .robincub {margin:0 auto; width:457px; background-color:#D7B778; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... bincub.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #FDFCE7; padding: 240px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#A3773A; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .robincub-line1 {width:407px; border-bottom:1px dotted #9C865A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style> - Caspa Al-Fateh - 08-08-2011
The little patchwork girl was rather annoyed at herself as well as the butterfly. She should have been more focused, how could she grow to be a great warrior and protector of the lands if she could not keep her focus on one small butterfly, she had been too excited at the idea of catching it, watching the grin spread across her little sister's face. It was very frustrating to have lost the purple creature with its striking wings, she had wanted to catch it so badly, although she had to admit that she did not know how on earth she would have transported it back home, she had no intention of hurting the little creature, far from it in fact, she wanted to take it home where it would have been loved and cared for by her and her sister, it would have wanted for nothing. Though, she supposed, perhaps it was for the best, having lost it, butterflies were meant to fly of course, perhaps it would not have liked being cooped up in a house, no matter how well it would have been treated. Yes, maybe it did not want to live within the confines of a house, who would after all when they had all of this wonderful space to fly about in, all this lovely scenery to view as their own as you fluttered from place to place. Perhaps the little butterfly would have been lonely and Robin had not been able to catch one butterfly, let alone two so that they could keep one another company. Knowing her sister as well she would let it out for "walks" and then the purple creature would never have come back and Robin would have had to go and catch another one for her distraught sister, she wasn't sure that she would have kept up the ruse that it was the same butterfly as the previous one that she had let out, Felicity was good at noticing small things that the little patchwork girl herself would never have noticed, no the butterfly would have had the wrong spot pattern or something, that would upset her sister more than having lost the first one, her sister pretending she had found it, just to be proven wrong. Perhaps it was indeed for the best that the little fluttering creature remained free to fly and explore the skies and the lands beneath them at it's own will, it was not fair to coop something up when it was accustomed to being allowed to go wherever it chose at a whim. No, maybe Robin would find a caterpillar or something, a bug for herself, her sister would not be as keen on it as a butterfly, but she might like the idea that eventually it might grow into one. This thought pattern was broken by a voice from nearby. The little female blinked twice, her staring into space having made her blue eyes sting, before she looked up at the tall female who had suddenly caught her attention. It was clear from her scent that she was a member of Cour Des Miracles, just as the patchwork girl was, but the little female had never seen her before, she knew about the pack's ranking system so her scent could not be deceptive, she must have been a member of the pack. The little fae stared up at the tall female with a smile, she was no threat if she was a member of the pack after all, this was not a baddie who had suddenly sprung a trap upon her, she doubted that she would need to show this female just how brave and daring she could be by launching a counter assault. No, the little fae could trust her she was sure, her father had always said that the pack was her family, along with those who were blood related to her and her family would never hurt her, especially not this unusual fae with what seemed to be missing ears. The female suggested as well that all was not lost in the loss of the butterfly and the little girl nodded her multicoloured head, she was right after all, the butterfly's escape was no great loss, in fact it would probably be for the best in the end, the little girl would have had no idea what to do with it when she caught it, she had no clue where to even begin in taking it back to the pack lands and the last thing she would have wanted would to have been to have killed it, she would have found it very difficult to forgive herself had that happened. .robincub b {font-weight:bold; color:#607792; letter-spacing:.0px; } .robincub-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .robincub p {text-indent:5px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .robincub {margin:0 auto; width:457px; background-color:#D7B778; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... bincub.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #FDFCE7; padding: 240px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#A3773A; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .robincub-line1 {width:407px; border-bottom:1px dotted #9C865A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style> - Caspa Al-Fateh - 08-26-2011
I was on holiday until the 30th and then have been sorting out college stuff so some of my threads have slipped my mind a little. I'm very sorry. WC: 641 This pale female was fascinating to the little patchwork girl, she watched her with wide blue eyes, she knew that it was rude to stare, her parents had explained to her about the differences that wolves and dogs could have, the pack was a mixture of the two, which was what created the variation within the lands, Robin knew not to be rude about another's appearance as often it was simply something that their blood had given them. But this female was interesting to look at, the little female had never seen anyone who looked quite like her, she seemed to have no ears, little did the small girl know that they were simply flopped down beside her head, hidden behind her braided mane. But to the small girl this female had no ears whatsoever, she wondered how she could hear her speaking, perhaps she was reading her lips, the little female had read about deaf humans who had learned to speak with their hands and understood what those who did not have that skill by learning what shape another's lips were when they spoke a certain word; she wondered if it was that easy for deaf wolves, their mouths were not as expressive as a human's after all. She smiled at the female as she spoke, her face stretching into a grin as the lady said that it was nice to meet a future hero, her tail was now wagging vigourously, this female seemed nice, the little female was overjoyed to meet someone who might enjoy listening to her stories, they were very embellished when she told them of course, but who was to say that there were no dragons or pirates hiding amongst the lands, when one looked hard enough with their imagination's eye they could see them easily. The little female nodded as Caspa explained about the chicken, the little female knew something about birds, only from what she had read in books and from seeing them flapping about the place or hiding high in tree branches. But she knew that a chick was a bird, a small chicken if she was correct, she also knew that birds laid eggs, but had no idea that one could eat them if they needed to. She looked at the female quizzically as she explained that she didn't like leaving the small bird alone, Robin did not understand this, surely the little chick would be fine with her brothers and sisters? Felicity was smaller than herself and Linden but her parents let her stay with them, they would often play rough and tumble games, but they were never any real danger to her. She could not imagine something that small and fluffy being a danger to anything. .robin-chucks .ooc {font-style:italic; } .robin-chucks p {padding:2px 0px; margin:0px; text-indent:35px;} .robin-chucks b {color:#f9f456; letter-spacing:-.2px; text-shadow:#000000 2px 2px 2px; } .robin-chucks {background-color:#557007; background-image:url(http://solacerp.net/Robin/Robin_chucks.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:2px solid #FFFFFF; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#fefddd; letter-spacing:.4px; word-spacing:.3px; line-height:16px; width:425px; text-align:justify; } .robin-chucks-border {width:429px; border:1px solid #000000; margin:0 auto;} .robin-chucks .inner {margin:242px 10px 10px 10px; padding:10px; background-image:url(http://sleepyglow.net/souls/25pct_white.png); border:1px solid #000000; border-radius:20px;-moz-border-radius:20px; -webkit-border-radius:20px;} </style>
- Caspa Al-Fateh - 10-04-2011
WC: 870 The little patchwork girl was rather entranced by the tall white female, she seemed rather interesting indeed, both in appearance and in her knowledge. The little female had never seen anyone like her before, she could not imagine what combination of genes would make such a canine, she herself was a mix of wolf and coyote, her frame and patterning, her fur reflected this, although not a lot of her make up appeared to be coyote at all, the wolven genes that she had inherited seemed to have quashed most of the coyote, though she still bore the bright red fur that had been passed on from generation to generation from her great grandfather. The small girl herself was rather a patchwork herself, but in colouration rather than in form, she wondered if perhaps this wise female was a patchwork of different kind of wolf and dog, everyone looked different, this was something she was learning. Large blue eyes watched the female as she spoke, face filled with concentration as she watched the female, she was listening to ever word from her mouth, it seemed that this female had a lot of knowledge that might be useful to the younger girl, after all she was going to be a hero, she wanted to know everything she possibly could about everything, one never knew what might come in handy in strange situations. She had read many adventure stories where the smallest and most simple thing had seemed silly at the time, but had become the key to solving the problem at hand, such as knowing that witches melted when they got wet, this was something that would seem silly to know, but had helped that Dorothy girl when she had been most at need of saving herself. The pale female said that the chickens would lay eggs that were a good source of food, the smaller girl's nose crinkled in curiousity as she thought of this, she herself had tried grass before and that seemed to be what prey animals ate, was that what eggs tasted like? Grass was terribly unpleasant as a taste, she hoped that eggs did not taste like that or else she could hardly see the point of chickens. The female explained that the birds did not know how sharp thier beaks and claws were, the little female nodded, she supposed that that might make sense, the patchwork girl supposed that she forgot how sharp her teeth were when she was play fighting with Linden, the red male had let out a yelp of shock more than once when the small female had nipped at his ears. She nodded, perhaps it made sense, the little chick let out a few squeaks and the girl giggled as Caspa replied to her, saying that the chick liked the rough and tumble. Unfortunately the next question was a stumper, as Caspa had never tasted eggs. She was not a nest-robber, and until Skye had given her the idea of keeping domestic birds, she had never considered the matter. "I have no idea, but they are nutritious so I am hoping they taste nice too," she admitted. "I've never kept birds before, so I'm really just a beginner."

WC: 788 The small patchwork girl looked up at the white pelted female, she was burning with curiosity as she looked at her, the female was rather entrancing, the Aatte girl could not help but be intrigued by her. She smiled up at Caspa as the female spoke again, watching her with large blue eyes as she did so, she said that she had never tasted eggs before, though she said that they were supposed to be nutritious so perhaps they were good for you? Then the female suggested that Robin take care of the little bird, the small girl's eyes widened and a smile stretched across her pale lips, her tail began to wag violently as she looked up at the alabaster female. The pale female then spoke of her childhood, saying that she had been born into a pack that trained the youngsters in something that they were not choosing for themselves, the small female's nose wrinkled slightly as she looked at the female. She could not imagine anything like that, her father and mother had never forced her to do anything other than what she had wanted to do, they supported her plans to become a hero, something that the small girl was more than grateful for. The young girl looked up at the female as she said that nothing was set in stone, the patchwork girl nodded as she said this, they were words of wisdom that she would happily remember in the time to come, although it sounded like she was telling herself more than the small Aatte. <style type="text/css"> .robin-sdb01 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ffffff; letter-spacing:1px; } .robin-sdb01 .ooc { font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .robin-sdb01 p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .robin-sdb01 {margin:0px auto; width:450px; background-color:#5a6694; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/hR6HN.png); background-position:bottom center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #665566; padding: 10px 0px 270px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#bbaabb; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style>
- Caspa Al-Fateh - 10-21-2011
OOC: No worries!
