- Haven Aatte - 09-12-2011
Angry table til Mati calms him down And backdated a bit probably? To around the time Alder's around? When the news had trickled down into his ears he had been unable—unwilling—to believe it. AniWaya had attacked his birth home, and worse, his mother had been captured by the savages and was now held captive. The moment he had learned the news he had burst from the house with uncontrollable rage. Princess had run after him and begged him not to do anything rash, and it was her concerns that were the only rope holding him back from rushing headlong into AniWaya to free his mother. At first his rage was mostly centered on himself, as it often was in the case of ill befalling his family. He should have been there to protect her. Perhaps he had been a fool to not return to Crimson Dreams. He could have kept her safe. No one could have been able to take Anu if her Knightly son had been protecting her. As time went on however, the anger morphed and redirected itself onto his former home. Why had they not rescued her yet? Were they afraid? Were they even trying? Alder had left some days past and it was no hard task guessing where his masked brother had gone to. It was the most angry he had ever seen the usually quiet and timid male, but even with the rage that burned in the giant's belly, Alder was no fighter. If he went to try and save their mother, he would undoubtedly be caught. Haven, on the other hand, might just stand a chance. The Seneschal left that day to make his border patrol and acted as he had for all these past days since the news of Anu's captivity had come. Carefully, and without Princess' knowledge, he had transferred bit-by-bit the armor he had into the stables so he could make a quiet escape of the Court lands. Today was the day he would save his mother. Haven saddled Drogon and tied two bags filled with his armor on either side. To don it now would draw suspicion if anyone saw him. The horse and rider left the stables and followed the borders of their pack, but when they reached the westernmost edge they continued on instead of curving back around. The Aatte had kept their pace fairly leisurely so as not to tire Drogon, but when they reached the borders of his old home the fire of his anger burst hotter in his chest and he edged the stallion up into a canter. He had planned to make a silent pass through the Dreaming lands, but as he thought of how they had not yet saved Anu his muzzle contorted in anger and a mocking howl shot into the air. I am going, it said, I am going to do what you have not. .freebsep45 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ca3303; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em #5a0b04; } .freebsep45 p {text-indent:0px; padding:6px 16px; margin:0px;} .freebsep45 {margin:0 auto; width:495px; background-color:#641b03; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/esEBj.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #641b03; padding: 200px 0px 8px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#280a01; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.5px; text-align:justify;} .freebsep45 p b:before { content: open-quote; } .freebsep45 p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style> 300+
l] - Mati Church - 09-12-2011
))))))
- Haven Aatte - 09-12-2011
You can feel free to have Mati know the details of the parley, I'm sure Savina would have told her Fire seemed to course through his veins as Drogon's hooves beat against the hard ground, making the unmistakable sound of haste. He doubted that any would come to try and stand in his way. First, because with his horse moving so quickly it would take them no time at all to cross the breadth of the lands he had once called home. Most importantly though, who would really try to stand in his way when he was going to do what they apparently refused to? As far as the Knight was concerned, they should have been sending endless missions to the tribe until his mother was recovered and back where she belonged. After everything Anu had done for them all, they should all be working themselves bloody to get her back. They could hold back and not dirty their paws if they wished, but he would no longer stand idly by while the AniWayans did who knows what to the only true parent he had. In this distance he saw the large form of a secui wolf appear and his eyes narrowed at it. If they thought they would stop him on his mission, they were mistaken. However when the called echoed out across the air to him he paused in his one-track thoughts. It was his sister who had appeared, and he knew he could not simply ride past and ignore her. As he neared her, the Knight pulled hard upon his steed's reins and Drogon came to a halt was a frustrated snort. The horse sensed his rider's impatience and anger and was just as eager to get on with their mission. Jade eyes looked down at his littermate, a hard expression etched upon his face. I'm going to save her Mati. I'm sick of waiting for everyone here to lift a finger to help her. His frustration and anger were evident in his voice, and he obviously was not asking for her permission to go through with his plan. .freebsep45 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ca3303; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em #5a0b04; } .freebsep45 p {text-indent:0px; padding:6px 16px; margin:0px;} .freebsep45 {margin:0 auto; width:495px; background-color:#641b03; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/esEBj.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #641b03; padding: 200px 0px 8px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#280a01; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.5px; text-align:justify;} .freebsep45 p b:before { content: open-quote; } .freebsep45 p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style> 300+
- Mati Church - 09-12-2011

- Haven Aatte - 09-13-2011
He expected his sister to understand. To give him words of encouraged. To tell him to bring their mother home to her. The man could expect nothing else, not with the heat that was in his blood. She had to feel the same way, for there was no other way to feel when one's mother was in mortal danger. Haven did not have a mind for strategy, not the way a leader did. If he had been with Savina that day, he would have understood. Haven would have known that the Consul had had no other choice but to retreat empty-handed. The Aatte's ignorance only left him with one option though, and that was to fight for Anu's return. Battle held no fear for him, but what might happen to her if she was not returned to safety soon did. When Mati denied him though, his anger flared. How can you say that?! he yelled. Drogon neighed in agitation and rose to his hind legs as his front hooves pawed at the empty air. I will ride them down! I will kill them if I have to! We cannot leave her there to rot! Though all his fire was being poured out in front of his sister right now, he was not mad at her. He was angry with Savina, with Crimson Dreams as a whole, and with himself. All the inaction had been eating away at the Knight and he had finally burst. .freebsep45 b {font-weight:bold; color:#ca3303; letter-spacing:1px; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.1em #5a0b04; } .freebsep45 p {text-indent:0px; padding:6px 16px; margin:0px;} .freebsep45 {margin:0 auto; width:495px; background-color:#641b03; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/esEBj.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #641b03; padding: 200px 0px 8px 0px; font-family: Georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#280a01; text-shadow: 0.1em 0.1em 0.2em #; letter-spacing:.6px; word-spacing:.9x; line-height:13.5px; text-align:justify;} .freebsep45 p b:before { content: open-quote; } .freebsep45 p b:after {content: close-quote; } </style> ---
- Mati Church - 09-13-2011

- Haven Aatte - 10-03-2011
Erin fail : / Time for sad table! 300+ His sister stood her ground as he yelled and raged at her atop his stallion. Some may have been surprised at the Praefectus' bravery and nerve, since most who knew her here saw her as a quiet and kind woman who looked after the pack's young. Haven knew though, knew that the same steel that ran down his spine was also present in his littermate. Mati might not have the same sort of strength that her brother did, but it was there, and he had never doubted her courage. She yelled that they would both die and the Knight scoffed, looking down at his sibling with disbelief in his fiery green eyes. If she thought the AniWayan slime could defeat him so easily, she was wrong. He was no young boy who knew nothing of battle anymore. True, he was not as experienced as some, but he had taken a life. He had watched the light fade from another canine's eyes after he had plunged his sword into him. Haven knew what it was to kill, and he would kill to save his mother without batting an eye. It was what she said next though that finally brought true fear and doubt into his heated chest. It was if a bucket of ice water had been thrown over him and the rage slowly melted from his strong face. They had threatened her with death. They had put a knife at her throat. His mother...the most kind, gentle soul he had ever known. How could this have happened? He stared at Mati, dumbfounded, as she continued to speak and felt the truth of her previous words sink in. He could not do this on his own. Even if they didn't kill him, they could kill her. The Knight's shoulders slumped and bi-colored ears folded back against his head. Suddenly he felt like a lost little boy again. .hallelujahsad b {font-weight:bold; color:#87ACD9; letter-spacing:.0px; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #365C90; } .hallelujahsad-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .hallelujahsad p {text-indent:25px; padding:3px 10px; margin:0px;} .hallelujahsad {margin:0 auto; width:450px; background-color:#5087C7; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... elujah.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #43639A; padding: 260px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#19324A; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .hallelujahsad-line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px solid #43639A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Mati Church - 10-04-2011

- Haven Aatte - 10-04-2011
Now that the fire inside him had been temporarily extinguished he felt guilt for yelling at his sibling. This wasn't Mati's fault and he had been wrong to throw his anger out at her. It had been nothing short of a tantrum and he was far too old to be throwing those any more. The Knight knew better. Haven sighed, scratching the back of his neck guiltily as the silence stretched on. Action was the only way he had finally found to cope with all this, and now that had been taken away as well. He felt useless, and to the Aatte there was no worse feeling than that. She spoke again and Haven looked down at her with jade eyes that could not catch her amethysts. Mati was right...but how? Him alone helping his old pack would not be enough. "Maybe..." he trailed off, thinking for a moment. "Maybe I could talk to Vigilante." Even as he said the words though, the Knight was unsure. Would his King really put the Court at risk to help the neighboring pack? He knew the hybrid was a good man with good morals, but his duty was first and foremost to Cour des Miracles. Getting them involved in a war would not necessarily be the best move for the monarch. Haven continued to look at his sister, hoping she would look back at him. "I'm sorry Mati." .hallelujahsad b {font-weight:bold; color:#87ACD9; letter-spacing:.0px; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #365C90; } .hallelujahsad-ooc { font-style:italic; padding:15px; font-family:georgia, serif; font-size:11px; text-align:center; } .hallelujahsad p {text-indent:25px; padding:3px 10px; margin:0px;} .hallelujahsad {margin:0 auto; width:450px; background-color:#5087C7; background-image:url(http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/ ... elujah.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #43639A; padding: 260px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size:12px; color:#19324A; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.0px; text-align:justify;} .hallelujahsad-line1 {width:250px; border-bottom:1px solid #43639A; margin:0 auto 3px auto;} </style>
- Mati Church - 10-18-2011

|
